Any car brand can give a problem if it is in a bad shape. Nothing bad in buying a nigerian used honda or any car as far as you buy a sound car.

Know what you want and how to go for it

Good luck
Okay, bros. Thanks for this. Appreciate.

Ewoooo bro, see how many times you said no vex bross grin
Haba I’m not hot tempered like some people here and never gone on rehab vacation.

What I was trying to say is that if he is just starting as a newbie he should forget about getting his money back.
Newbies can’t remit 30k weekly in first 2 months without stories.
Generally I will discourage anybody going to drive on Uber/bolt newly in Lagos on rentals or HP. It’s slavery and not sustainable.
But it’s cool with your own car.
Note my words
” Newly on rentals/HP in Lagos”
I’m talking from experience of a lazy driver
1. Road network/location: you will take first trip to ikeja city mall on Monday morning and from there to akute and gross only 7k and be complaining like ikejamanism.
2. Car will suffer: you will go to bad roads, drive inside flood, rider will load two 50kg rice and coke in your car. Okada will remove ur side mirror.
3. Lastma or tout or police will play with you.
4. Theft (yahoo rider or traffic thief’s) fake alert and all.
5. Ehailing Apps: You might get blocked or low ratings or they keep giving you dead zone trips.
Or short short trips till you are warn out after carrying yams for rider and opening boot.
For example I wanted to drive today. I woke up 6:30am and there was no heavy surge I just off app and continue sleeping. Driving without surge is slavery and demoralizing.

As far as I’m concerned ehailing is not a job, (especially for graduates) just do small to keep body & soul and move on, else your body/soul or car will leave you and move on.
At the bold first paragraph. grin grin you no go vex ni ooh. I been doing questioning mostly since, make I no stress you out with my questions, that's why I was putting "no vex, no vex". grin
Omo, this your explanations be like lecturing, kudos to you, I salute your experience. Thanks for the enlightenment.
Chai! Guyman must make use of these your explanations to access himself before going into the Uber/bolt as a new starter. Hmmm.
Thank you boss. Appreciate. More wisdom.

E mean and e no mean.
When u buy a quarter to die car and subject it to stress of ehailing it will fall apart faster than ice in sun.
But good naija used still dey and it's light on ur pocket so u maximize ur profits and have good ROI.
So whether it's naija used or foreign used, make sure u buy a good car. Some people still spend 100-200k on a tokunbo car to put it to standard. It's just that naija used has a higher probability of being abused and messed-up that's why it's adviseable to go for tokunbo and have rest of mind. But if u find a good naija used and d price is right, it's still okay.
Okay boss.
Thank you for the enlightenment.
All points noted. Appreciate.

You can not recover your money back within a year cos your brother will eat, pay bills too, fall sick and unplanned situations.
Let me ask ?
Has your brother been driving on Uber/bolt before now or he will just start?
If yes ?
just set him up on another business.
Cause You won’t get your money back in 2years
Boss, no vex oh. You said someone who's experienced in the bolt/Uber work won't do well in money remittance? shocked
I thought experience was what people seek for before handling a car to someone for the Uber/bolt work on weekly repayment.
Do you have a reason for this discouragement? No vex ooh bros, please enlighten a learner like me.
And what if the said guy has not been driving on Uber/bolt before, that he just wants to start, what makes him a good deal to keep up with weekly repayment?
Thank you boss.

Is d car upto 2yrs in Nigeria?, if yes, Find out d oil previous owner has been using and continue with that oil.
If car is not upto 2years and they weren't using d recommended oil then u can switch.
Good brands are numerous, choose anyone that suits ur pocket just make sure it's imported directly by ur plug.
Good afternoon, brother.
I was expecting some senior men to talk about buying a Honda car as Nigerian used. lipsrsealed
Because I hear a lot of people condemning buying Nigerian-used cars for bolt/Uber work.
Abi e no mean anything ni?

Lolzz.
I like your positivity sha.
At least, it's quite likely that you'll do well when you start.
But just know that you will never understand all our jabs, insults and counter arguments here, till you drive on the platform.

Before I started driving, I followed the thread for months without commenting here. And during that period, I was an ardent supporter of Dru23, and an opponent to Gazzuzz. I almost rejected the matrix given to me and was rather requesting for a Honda civic; due to how brainwashed I was, following dru23.

It took me less than 1month on the Hustle to turn against him and became an absolute fan of Gazzuzz.

Dru23 have cars on the hustle, but have never driven on it. And till he drives on Uber (either for fun or profit) we may never be on the same page.

Uber driving experience is unique and quite peculiar to paper statistics.
No be small thing.
I dey here dey learn oh. I'm really learning.
I also followed this thread for almost 2 months before I decided to register and join you guys here.
At least make I dey roam around the thread and be marking register once in a W.

I was about saying this, but I refrained from doing so because he may not even be driving on the platform.
I for like ma if na so e be, the reality is different from all these calculations.

Meanwhile I picked on former bolt driver, as we were gisting he asked me how the hustle is right now. I was trying to be realistic he reminded me of how his guy is making all the money in the world driving on ehailing, I didn't waste time telling him how much I make any day I work and that everywhere is full of surge.
As we speak now he's on his way to pee on his boss head, I pity him because I am not even sure he have a car.

Oga isn't that double or multiple taxation... What happened to the N20/trip we are already paying?
How about the 20% and 25% commission? Do you want to tell me it's been collected just to merge riders and drivers alone?

I worked N200k and you collect N50k as commison
I buy fuel 40k to earn 200k
I eat at least 3k daily making an avrg of 20 weekly.
Car maintenance assume it to be 20k
Total: 50+40+20+20 =130k.
Bal: 200-130 = N70.

And you still want to tax me on that afyer paying commission of over 50k? to my app coy? Are you for real or you're joking?

Aren't the app coys paying tax to the government? All drivers provided a tax number during registration if I can remember vividly uber requested for it during signing up so what is expected is for them to provided our tax clearance papers at the end of every year accordingly.

So what else are you asking for again.

Evil people
Evil leaders
Evil political children which I'm very sure you're one of them.

Kontinue oh you hear me so?one day you people will see something

Due to the “pepper dem” posting i usually see here, i also tried grossing the best i can yesterday.. As per my office no dey open na, i set out early 7:10 am , rested in a place from 2- 4 :15 due to fatigue. Had some mad migrain in between (as i was fighting the sleep by noon). Closed 11: 25pm or so

Last last i grossed 40k , i dont know how you all do this on a steady , but one thing i know is that this shit aint healthy if thats what you do. Your health is important….
I love this analysis. Though, according to your expression, you were surprised at the experience and wasn't pleasurable, but I learned some useful things here.

But if one would consider health as you said, I think working for the long period of time you worked, one can adopt the one-day-on and one-day-off system. This would allow the body system to balance, not to break down, and the health of the car, too. And considering your net profit, if it's one day on - one day off, a guy man is making a profit of over 90k in a week (that's over 360k in a month).
This, I think, should be the best.
Gurus in the house can educate us on this.
Much respect.

Number 2 is very very true. that one is 100 percent undeniable. Dating sites are temptations, you will be tempted and get carried away because your DM will be flooded with different men, which you will definitely fall into one or more than. All men in serious relationships should ensure that their women are all off any dating platform (Facebook, Telegram, WhatsApp group, etc.)

Honestly I am still a learner when it comes to car stuffs and fuel consumption too. But what I know was that my fuel was little above half tank when I started the journey and I bought 4,500 fuel again and still had like quarter tank left after the journey. My calculation was based on the fuel guage on the dashboard and might not be totally correct.
