This is just the case of most Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) Staff since inception eventhough hardly could you see them with good career progression, most going for promotion exams 10 times without being promoted to the next rank.

Praying that new management correct all these lopsided issues in the Corps.

Transfer and other allowances are being owed over eight years now.

WHAT WILL I DO DIFFERENTLY IF WERE DCM DAUDA ALI BIU

I begin this treatise by taking full responsibility of the article and wish to remind people who would hasten to cruxify Horo, to swallow their vernon.The views I shall read hereunder are mine, propelled by my personal and experience in public service, but most particularly my FRSC. Firstly
First,....lf I were the acting Corps Marshal (CM),I will thank God for giving me the opportunity to serve my father land as the number one frontline traffic administrator/manager of FRSC .An organisation reputed to be a lead agency in traffic administration in Africa.
Second,I will insolate myself from the tyranny of previous Corps Marshals particularly the most recent who falsely vested himself with the candour of intelligentual self presumption that knowledge starts and ends with him.
Thirdly,I consult widely from bottom to the top, not top to bottom and admit my flaws, inadequacies , inadvertence and be humane to all, but firm in my approach to public governance.
Fourth,I will not play the ostrich and think that I am a saint in the administration of public monies ,while displaying the highest form injustice by sacking Operatives who extort..kobo -kobo on the highways.Please, don't get me wrong,lam not in anyway legitimazing extortion by FRSC Operatives,but only exhuming the biblical saying, "oh ! Physician heal thyself or better still remove the log in your eyes before you remove the mustard seed in people's eyes".
Fifth,I will be honest with my creator,I will accountable to my employer,guide my conscience to the long paths of African moral chastity and the patience posterity to judge me kindly. l will be bold to declare my micro bank accounts before I was appointed Corps Marshal on July,23 ,2014 and the stupidously jumbo hidden accounts where monts would pilfer with sooner than later. I will not wait or reluctantly refuse or ignore to bow out honourably on attaining the age of 60 or at 35 years in service, whichever one comes first.
Six,I will refrain from the impudence and the virus that is fast engulfing the public space to a level of being the norm, that is ,the culture of nepotism,favourism, ethnicity , bigotry of occultic members.The correctness of justice jurisprudence is justce to all creeds.
Seven,I will rather be a servant leader ,than be a willing tool or foot soldiers to politicians in an attempt to live on the the throne as Corps Marshal fo ever.Is the Office any persons birth right ? Even the strongest dynasties and empires rise and fall.Let us ask ourselves where is Napoleon,Hilter.Where are kingdoms like Roman Greek, Britian ,Mali Kanen Borno empires etc.The most laudable of the slogans is the word "the last man standing" , how ? I really understand this lexicon. Are there no pioneers of the Corps who are still in service?
Eight,let me also ask,can a Permanent Secretary of any MDA dish out promotion(s) or appoint Directors at his whims and caprices without recourse to extant rules of promotion in such organisation.Hmmmm ! Some imaginable drama happened in FRSC when four (4) Asst.Corps Marshals were handed christmas gifts,in the month of July,in the name of 'take and go promotion to the level '.... Deputy Corps Marshal(grade level 17)in public service.Some ignorant persons childly argue that they were promoted by the Commission (Board) which Board?Board that became fuctus officious since 25th February,2022.
Nine,I wish to also inform the world that over fifty vehicles/motor cycles of the Corps,Corps wide that needed some fixing or minor repair were wickedly and fraudulently boarded, allocated or auction end/ shared to cronies at unbelievable amount,no !.. dashed .Is there no SOP for such an action ,was it followed?
Ten,this man who syncophants hail as the last man should ask himself what we value did he add to staff career.I dare him/them let them visit the headquarters of FRSC and see for themselves, how some Deputy Corps Commanders are crammed in offices like convict s awaiting execution.Their offices could as well pass fo IDP camps. (take visit to CMRO,PRS,TRG, AHR, SDER & others offices) and see for yourself the dehumanising work spaces called office.
Eleven,if were the acting CM ,I will stop the madness of sending officers on assignments without providing for them on how get to the venue of meetings.Staff salaries are not meant for charity services on behalf of the office.Each office ought have utility/Administration vehicles that would convey officers on duty to and fro.My heart bleeds as script this write up.For the immediate past CM,I pray God to visit him with the measure and scale he managed FRSC.May his road be rough.
