24 happen to be the best movie I have ever watch.
Can anyone recommend a similar movie as interesting, captivating and mind blowing as this.

you want to employ him and then emotionally blackmail him to get rid of the dreads? matrix199: Don't forget Jesus was a Nazareth(had dreads) and was not judged using his hair type. But then, our society has stereotyped dreadlocks as a sign or show of irresponsibility. We think low cut or bald portrays responsibility which is not necessarily true. 99% of criminals and terrorists paraded were not wearing dreadlocks but low cut. So, as a school owner, i'll give every applicant a fair treatment and later make them understand how the society sees things and how the way they see things may affect our business. A sensible dreadlock applicant would reason out my explanation. |

this may have been true at a point. But since the already exist in this universe, any new Jl movie without them will feel weird. abduleez1: Agree or not??
This might be the best time to seriously promote and introduce Martian Manhunter and Green Lanterns with Flash. And probably bring two more lesser known powerhouse characters.
At Least the recent reintroduction of connectivity with cameos and Easter eggs in upcoming movies might pick up more interest.

the Joker appeared in the 1989 Batman Beorn: I clearly understood your point and my point is that yours is biased and targeting just Batman. There's no crime you've pointed out in your post that other superhero movies or rebooted movies are not guilty of, hence my earlier reply that you'd take your sermon to other movie franchise as well.
Now let's start with for example Spiderman. Spiderman just repeated not just one villain, but multiple villains from the past in their latest installment. I wonder why you're not complaining about it. But you were fast to remember Batman that repeated villains.
Meanwhile Batman villains from Batman Forever to last one are:
Two-Face The Riddler Mr Freeze Ra's al Ghul Joker (here the origin of Two-Face gets told) Bane Doomsday (BvS) etc.
As you can see, different villains for each installment, same way other studios are doing others but it's only Batman you have a problem with.
You complained Batman not having origin movie, the story of Batman was told in Batman Begins. The origin of Joker was told in latest Joker movie.
You complained about Batman story being repeated so many times? And others haven't? How many times have Spiderman story been repeated? Let me brush your memory that Spider-Man repeat stories all the time. It's basically about a kid who lives with his aunt and got bitten by a radioactive spider and gained superhuman strength, then has a secondary school crush/girlfriend and fights the villain that comes up in each of the installment. Is there anything majorly different from this rehashed storyline?
For James Bond. Here is what majorly sums up the movie despite it being over 30 years old:
Jams Bond a secret agent for the MI6. A villain that has weapon or biotechnology instrument to wipe out large number of humans. There is a character called Moneypenny. Another called M. Another called Q. There are arrays of hi-tech watches, weapons and cars etc that can perform more than your run-of-the-mill actions.
This basically sums up James Bond movies.
Wash, rinse and repeat. Nothing different after 30 years and people still watch it.
I get your point and they are kinda valid, but you preaching it against only Batman means you won't been taken serious by me until you criticize all other studios that does the exact same thing. |

When it comes to bad movies, some of them are hilariously bad. Matrix Resurrection on the other hand, is ridiculously bad.
It has no single redeeming quality.
Every change that was made was for the worst and All the new concepts that were introduced was terrible.
The story was goofy.
The dialogue was atrocious.
The characters are one dimensional and unmemorable.
The cinematography was bad. The movie had a lot of shaky Cam which weren't present in the original movies. Also, I hated a lot of the effects that were used especially the one they used when Neo took the pill.
The action that the Matrix franchise was renowned for is also extremely lackluster. The hand to hand combat is uninspired and looks weightless and The gun fights are just there. There was a fight that took place in a train and the whole setting was just crowded and confusing.
Keanu has never really been a good actor IMO. He has a stilted way that acting that can work for movies like John Wick but not for a movie that needs to show acting range. In this movie, he look incredibly bored and his acting ranged from mediocre to bad.
So why does Agent Smith still exist? Didn't Neo destroy him in the last movie? If the analyst brought him back, why did he do so? He isn't on the analyst side and he offers no advantage to the Matrix so why is he back?
Speaking of the Analyst, he is easily one of the worst villains to be portrayed in a movie. He is not charismatic and to make matters worse, he isn't even threatening or menacing. He just looks annoying.
Also what purpose does Neo serve in this movie? Why were the rebels looking for him? He had already ended the war with the machines and the peace he brokered still exists, so why is he here? Were the rebels looking for him because they needed a hero to worship? He isn't fighting for humanities freedom or fate so why is he even here?
Morpheus also serves no purpose in this movie. I don't even understand why or how he exists in this movie.
The new twist they added which is that Neo and Trinity are very powerful when they're together is dumb. They've been together for the whole of the last trilogy and we didn't see any of this special power. At the end, it is revealed that trinity also has the powers of the ONE? And this makes no sense whatsoever.
This movie takes the concept of meta to a ridiculous new hight. The cut to previous movies was cringe and they nostalgia bait that the movie was going for fell flat in All ways.
1.5/10 I didn't see this movie in a cinema, but I want a refund.

Dotng: The reviews for The Matrix Resurrections are mixed. It depends on the state of mind and expectations of individual viewer. It is expected that viewers may want a fresh concept out of the sequel while others are not totally into the franchise.
The image attached for instance shows that the reviewer never liked the franchise, even the iconic Matrix 1.
Another reviewer felt that it was a missed opportunity to do something even more crazier within the Matrix cannon and even within our society state of affairs.
Yet another person is of the opinion that the 4th Matrix is not a reboot of the franchise but a nod to the original that gives fans a sense of closure that the ending lacked. A witty retread and great B grade Sci-Fi suspense thriller.
My thoughts on the reviews both from those that have watched it and for my Nairalanders is that the movie may or may not match your expectations. It just depends on whether the movie meets your particular needs now. WTF!!! Saying that the original Matrix series didn't give viewers closure is literally the worst argument I've heard. The war with the machines ends. Neo dies saving the world. Trinity dies helping him. It's a bittersweet ending, but it does provide closure. |

On the surface, what this article is saying may appear to be correct, but when you think about it for a second, you will realize that it is a load of bullsh*t. This is the kind of reactionary propaganda that you would expect from a conservative news outlet. They're basically calling for a return to "simpler" times when women stayed at home all day and men worked. That basically it. |

AnfieldFan: You are not understanding... There has to be in-movie science to justify some things... If it isn't ludicrous, we can let it slide, but if the film prides itself as being intelligent, then it has to be intelligent or better still, keep it's not so intelligent parts to the barest minimum...
Inception is a sci-fi movie but we flow because it's science even if debatable is actually what it is...Rooted in science...
Many heroes can fly...Supes was just one example...The point being that it was explained with movie logic which is compelling enough to aid us in suspending disbelief... Storm can shoot lightning because she's mutated.. Wonder woman a supernatural Creation...
Zombies can't give birth because they are dead, rotting, decaying along with the presence of flesh eating bacteria which aids in decomposition of corpses working overtime on them... You seem to have a problem with the concept of internal consistency which simply means that a movie has to adhere to the rules it sets up. You're judging the movie in question by rules that have been set up by other movies instead of judging it by its own rules. |
