Its not a matter of winning or losing. Like I said, I am just waiting for you to get very upset before I answer your question. But if you really want an answer, I will tell you. |
You are saying I can't stand an intelligent lady because I didn't answer your question? I wonder. |
Ooh, yes Christel, thanks for reminding me. I won't answer that until you get very very upset. |
You said someone posted a question regarding what someone else was wearing, but that could have been a follow up question in a thread. Do you have a link of this post? |
Thanks for your correction. Now, what is it you need me to respond to? |
I would answer your question when you get really upset. |
CHRISTEL:What do you mean by this? |
I'm sure IBB has more stolen assets all over the place |
@free Good point |
My dream date will be with Sanaa Lathan. I find her irresistible.
|
@oracle I agree with you, but I believe a man should be less emotional than a woman. I don't mean to sound sexist, but a man being too emotional? Well, he might be perceived as a boy. |
Ladies, I am sorry to hear you go through all of this. It must be really painful. We are all not like that. In time you will find a decent gentleman. |
I suggest "copy and paste and then travel". too funny |

I think someone with low self esteem might fall prey to being in love with a deathrow convict. If you feel everyone is better off than you are, and you finally meet a deathrow convict, I guess it'll make you feel larger than life. It'll make you feel important and easily fall in love with such person. @Christel, are you trying to set a record with all these topics? |
I agree with Busta |
@Stealthy Are you a nigerian working in Baghdad? @ babadee Very good point. It is possible, but it'll definately not happen overnight |
Are you being forthcoming with the reason you broke up with her? I think there is more to it than you are admitting. If the girl really loves you, and you explained to her with all honesty that your financial situation is what was responsible for what you did, I believe she would understand and give you a second chance. I still think there is more to this than you are admitting. Prove me wrong. |
@dearie I think what you are saying is that if two people are in love, is it still possible for them to be unfit for marriage? To me, Love is a major component for marriage. But there are other things to consider. For instance, may be neither party are mature enough for the union. Or neither one of them is financially stable. Plus, may be the couple have not known each other long enough. Either way, I think people should not just jump into marriage as soon as they feel they are in love. Give the relationship time to develop. ![]() |
Give them time to get used to it. Remember, Nollywood is still relatively young. I think our culture has a lot to do with it. It is one thing to be the freakiest woman on earth in the privacy of your room, but when it is done in front of a camera, actresses have to worry about what "mama and papa and relatives" would think. I guess we are not as liberated in our sexuality (in front of the camera) as our western counterparts. |
@seges Could you please tell us the source of this story? I am not calling you a liar, but the accusation would sound more legitimate if you tell us where you got it from. Nawaa oo !! $1.5 million in cash in a luggage !! Our brothers from the South South have been pleading for resource control, but look at what some of their governors are doing with the "little" money they are getting. The funniest thing is, the state house of assembly would not hold these governors accountable. Heaven help us ooo ![]() |
They are still trying to see if the guy's DNA was at the crime scene. Until then, we just have to wait and see. The guy is claiming jon benet died by accident and there is some rumor about sexual encounter. I really don't know what to believe, the best thing I guess is to wait till the DNA test results comes out. |
@pfowighz You made some very valid points and I tend to agree with you. I would reiterate your point that it is true that many of the 1st gen universities are not where they used to be in terms of research, quality of education and infrastructure, but the school administrators realise this and are doing things to improve the situation. We should try and highlight the fact that many 1st gen VCs are trying and we need to be a bit optimistic. Personally, it is difficult for me to say which university is the best in Nigeria. I would like to see the criteria (and proof) that was used to arrive at the decisions made by the NUC. |
Haha very funny ![]() |
@lofty How would you make her wedding look better ![]() |
@snazzy If you don't miss anything about your ex, then why did you bring up this topic? What initiated the thought in the first place? |
For God to eradicate suffering in the world |
You can be successful without a degree. But I think secondary school is very crucial because to me, everyone has to know how to read, add, you know, the basic education. But you don't have to attend a higher institution to be successful, not at all. One key to success in life is to have a skill or "gift" in which you can use to get a job or provide a service to make money. For instance, If you are born with a special gift of music as is the case with michael jackson, then you can make a good living for yourself. |
