God forbid that Tinubu and Shettima triumph at the 2023 presidential election and proceed to complete two terms. Power will thereafter be liable to rotate to Northern Nigeria, which will probably produce a Muslim. At the end of two terms of that person, following the two terms of Tinubu-Shettima and counting back to the two terms of Muhammadu Buhari, Nigeria’s presidency would have been occupied by a Muslim for pretty much a quarter of a century or for 27 out of 32 years going back to the administration of Umaru Musa Yar’Adua. Children born at the beginning of this period may end up with the impression that Nigeria is indeed an Emirate in which only Muslims are entitled to aspire to the highest office.
Unfortunately, Christians don’t get the message being passed by this action.
If it succeeds, in the next 8 years, political parties will only field Muslim candidates. They will tell you that if they present a Christian candidate, that they won’t win. That the North will not vote him, and they need northern votes to win. They will automatically sideline Christians in the politics of Nigeria. The first death is separation from God caused by sin.
Genesis 3:3

Before we delve into action on how to obtain another opportunity from God, let us cast our mind back to what God did. Originally God laid the groundwork of our relationship, fellowship and communion with Him all alone by Himself.

But we were told that Moses out of anger broke those tables of stone in Exodus 32:19. And what did God tell him to do next? Let's read on. Exodus 34:1
[1]And the LORD said unto Moses, Hew thee two tables of stone like unto the first: and I will write upon these tables the words that were in the first tables, which thou brakest. Now if you have been following me from the beginning you would have noticed where am going. God is now about to restore/fix what Moses destroyed. But he commanded Moses to do something. Which is hew/cut two tables of stone because he Moses broke it. In the beginning Moses had no hand in cutting the first tables of stone, but this time he has to do it. To cut a stone and fashion it like a table/slate is not a child's play. In the same way for anyone to forsake his evil behavior too is not a child's play. You have to count the cost, weigh the pros and cons before making up your mind. But I can assure you that the benefit of forsaken your temporary pleasure in iniquity/sin by far outweighs any contrary move by you. If you are willing to do God's bidding he will give you the power/grace to forsake sin in your life. You need His power/grace to do that, your own power cannot take you anywhere. John 1:12
[12]But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: 1 John 3:9

Meanwhile, What a loving and caring creator we have in God our father. Our father is the God of another opportunity. He is rich in mercy and kindness. He can restore and fix our lives which we destroyed in the past.
Moses the servant of God received two tables of stone containing the written commandment from God. He was supposed to use this tables of stone as a reference object to teach the children of Israel God's law. But when he came down from the mount where he has been with God receiving revelation on how to lead the Israelites among other things to the promised land. He confirmed what God had already told him on the mount that Israelites have forsaken Him (God). Out of anger he broke the tables of stone in pieces. Exodus 32:19.
The breaking of these stones by Moses can be likened to Adams undoing in the garden of Eden. Adam practically ruined his glorious relationship with God with disobedience. In the context of our discuss Adam broke the tables of stone containing God's law handed over to him.
Before we delve into action on how to obtain another opportunity from God, let us cast our mind back to what God did. Originally God laid the groundwork of our relationship, fellowship and communion with Him all alone by Himself.
Genesis 2:8,15-17
[8]And the LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed.
[15]And the LORD God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it.
[16]And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:
[17]But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.
From the above quote from the very beginning man contributed nothing to his welfare/comfort. God in His wisdom had already prepared all that man will ever need in advance before he created and put man in the garden of Eden. All He desires from man is simple obedience to his instruction to enable Him have a seamless and unrestricted fellowship with the man He loves so much. Genesis 3:8
[8]And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of the garden. If you take your time to read from verse one of Genesis chapter three to verse eight you will understand clearly why Adam and his wife heard God's voice calling them for fellowship as usual instead of being excited that their lover is around, their heart jumped in fear and they went into hiding. My beloved that is reading this script have you ever wondered why many people hate the truth so much? It is because it will expose their evil ways of life. It didn't start today it has been like this from the beginning. Sinners are always afraid to be told that what they did or are still doing is bad. And so they would rather prefer to stuck their hands into their ears in other to avoid listening to the truth. Another reason is because they would likely loose their blindly cherished wickedness that deceitfully gives them temporary pleasure or relief if they listen and adhere to the truth. Are you one of them? If you are, I want you to know that God loves you but hates your sinful lifestyle and He is giving you another opportunity to turn away from your evil ways and return fully to Him. Please don't let this privilege to slip out of your grasp tomorrow might be too late.
Now let's also look at the case of Moses the servant of God once again. Exodus 24:12
[12]And the LORD said unto Moses, Come up to me into the mount, and be there: and I will give thee tables of stone, and a law, and commandments which I have written; that thou mayest teach them. Exodus 31:18
[18]And he gave unto Moses, when he had made an end of communing with him upon mount Sinai, two tables of testimony, tables of stone, written with the finger of God.
In the above quoted scriptures God made a promise to Moses of giving him tables of stone and He (God) fulfilled His promise to Moses. Note, that here God was the one who cut the stone and wrote on it. Moses did nothing in the cutting and writing of the stone. But we were told that Moses out of anger broke those tables of stone in Exodus 32:19. And what did God tell him to do next? Let's read on. Exodus 34:1
[1]And the LORD said unto Moses, Hew thee two tables of stone like unto the first: and I will write upon these tables the words that were in the first tables, which thou brakest. Now if you have been following me from the beginning you would have noticed where am going. God is now about to restore/fix what Moses destroyed. But he commanded Moses to do something. Which is hew/cut two tables of stone because he Moses broke it. In the beginning Moses had no hand in cutting the first tables of stone, but this time he has to do it. To cut a stone and fashion it like a table/slate is not a child's play. In the same way for anyone to forsake his evil behavior too is not a child's play. You have to count the cost, weigh the pros and cons before making up your mind. But I can assure you that the benefit of forsaken your temporary pleasure in iniquity/sin by far outweighs any contrary move by you. If you are willing to do God's bidding he will give you the power/grace to forsake sin in your life. You need His power/grace to do that, your own power cannot take you anywhere. John 1:12
[12]But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: 1 John 3:9
[9]Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.
Dear friend we are all helplessly roaming the world as sinners without God. Romans 3:23
[23]For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; but God who is rich in mercy have not abandoned us like sheep without Shepard. John 3:16-18
[16]For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

This is quite disheartening.


But the bitter truth about death is that it is inevitable to mortals. And there are two types of death that man will experience after the second death you proceed to eternal life either in Heaven or Hell. The choice is all yours. I will explain.
The first death is separation from God caused by sin.
Genesis 3:3
[3]But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die. This is the response of Eve to the alluring question the serpent asked. Eventually she fell for it she and her husband suffered the the consequence of their disobedience to God. They lost their luxurious estate the garden of Eden, consequently lost their spiritual fellowship with God which is the death God was referring to, when He said if you eat of the tree of Knowledge of good and evil you will die. Of course you and I knows that after eating the forbidden fruit they still went on to live. But this time around they are no more in right standing with God. They themselves knew it that's why they ran from God's presence to hide and cover their shame.
Genesis 3:8
[8]And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of the garden. Sin is sweet but always has a terrible bitter and regrettable end. This is the sole reason why God has to present His son Jesus to the world to reconcile the world back to Himself as the only solution to restore what was lost in the garden of Eden.
Romans 5:10
[10]For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.
Second death is the state where our body is buried beneath the earth when one passes on. It is also referred as sleep because there's still going to take place the ultimate second death in Rev. 20:14;
1 Thessalonians 4:13
[13]But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.
Genesis 5:5
[5]And all the days that Adam lived were nine hundred and thirty years: and he died. No matter how short or long we may leave here on Earth the Bible says in,
Hebrews 9:27
[27]And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: One day we must depart this world and face our creator weather you believe it or not is completely inconsequential. No body will escape God's judgement weather you believe in the existence of God or not. It will not change God's word. Study Mathew 25:31-46.
Now concerning the last phase I have already given you a hint in the second death above. Meanwhile let's look at it one more time. Let me inform you that it took God to pay the supreme price with His son Jesus to redeem us from experiencing eternity in hell.

[6]For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. But the ball is in your court, it is up to you to accept or reject God's offer. My dear friend I must tell you the truth and nothing but the truth. Heaven is real and Hell is equally real. If you are one of those who doubt this truth and you sincerely want to know, here's what you will do to unravel the truth yourself.
Jeremiah 29:13
[13]And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart. Ask God if He truly exist as the Bible says, if indeed Heaven and Hell is real let Him reveal it to you personally. I guarantee you if you do this with sincerity of purpose from your heart, God Himself will reveal this thing's to you and not mortal trying to explain it to you.
Revelation 20:12-15
[12]And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
[13]And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
[14]And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
[15]And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

God our creator, created us in His own image and likeness Gen 1:26. The image of God and likeness here is not necessarily having hands, legs, mouth, nose etc. It goes far beyond that. As a matter of fact it is His very nature or attributes that He is referring to. Mathew 5:48 You, therefore, must be perfect [growing into complete maturity of godliness in mind and character, having reached the proper height of virtue and integrity], as your heavenly Father is perfect.
This is God's design and expectation from us when he created us. Leviticus 19:2. But man failed God woefully. Romans 5:19 says
[19]For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous. The good news is this by one man (Adam) many (you and I) were made sinners. But God fashioned a way out of this bondage of sin by introducing His own son Jesus who obeyed Him to the cross. Look at what Jesus did for you and I, He paid the supreme price for us, so that we will not need to pay for our sin/debt again. That's the good news I am talking about. But one more thing is still required of you and I. If I issue you a billion dollar cheque with my signature inscribed on it, and you refuse to stretch out your hand to receive it, does that suggest you really want to claim the a billion dollar bill offered to you for free? I don't think so. Same applies to the free gift of salvation, you need to consciously receive Jesus as your Lord and savior He is the free gift of God for salvation.
Romans 5:18
[18]Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.

China warns US against sparking cold war. Interesting, am not surprise at all. This has been prophesied long ago by the master of the universe Himself. He said in the later days there will be rumours of war and this is certainly one of them. Matthew 24:4-8
[4]And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.

The world we live in will not last forever it is gradually winding up by the one who made it. So it behoves every man to make peace with God now so as not to be destroyed with the wicked on the last day.
2 Peter 3:10-12
[10]But the day of the Lord will come as unexpectedly as a thief. Then the heavens will pass away with a terrible noise, and the very elements themselves will disappear in fire, and the earth and everything on it will be found to deserve judgment.
[11]Since everything around us is going to be destroyed like this, what holy and godly lives you should live,
[12]looking forward to the day of God and hurrying it along. On that day, he will set the heavens on fire, and the elements will melt away in the flames.
Did you see that? We are all strangers here and will some day leave this world. Question how are you preparing to leave this world? As a believer of Jesus or as an unbeliever?
