Events / Re: 60-Year-Old First Time Nigerian Bride Weds Her Man (Photos) by Godiloveu(f): 10:11am On Feb 05, 2017
Know Why The Man Is Called The Groom And The Woman The Bride? The "Bridegroom" Hmm... why is the newly wedded man called groom and the woman called bride? A friend of mine got tired of his wife just about six months after wedding. He complained bitterly to me about her and told me that he has concluded to break up with her; he went on to say that he was sure that he made a mistake. I did not respond immediately because I knew I must tell him that right thing, so I went home and asked the Lord what to say and that is what birth this message. Many men have broken up with their wives because they end up not being the wife that they have dreamt of. But they have forgotten that on their wedding day was when the man was commissioned for the new task. They won't call the woman wife on her wedding day but bride, because it is the man that will groom his bride to become the wife. That is why the man is called 'groom', and the word grooming has to do with patiently nurturing, teaching, tending and helping someone to become what he or she should be. It is therefore believed that a man that takes a woman to the altar of marriage is matured enough to patiently groom his bride to become the wife. The man is not supposed to just expect the bride to automatically become the wife, she must be groomed. Hence, many of us men built unnecessary expectations when we were getting married, we want a magic to happen to our wives, we want them to become what we have had in mind about who we want our wives to be; not considering the fact that the woman does not know what is on your mind except you teach her Our expectations are often too unrealistic, because we don't remember that change takes time and we can only expect something from someone that knows what we want. So before you think of breaking up, have you groomed her? Have you given her time to understand you? Hope you realize that a turtle will never become a hawk? God often brings people that are opposites of each other together in marriage so that they can help each other in their place of weaknesses. If your wife is weak where you are weak, then where will you get the strength that is needed? The problem with many of us is that we don't accept people before attempting to change them. Of course, our wives are not from our backgrounds, so it will take time for them to adjust. Stop trying to change her, accept her, love her, teach her and be patient with her; that is what grooming is all about. She is going to be your wife but she is your bride now, so groom her. Stop complaining about her, she may be a turtle and you a hawk, she cannot fly so be patient with her. I don't believe that your marriage can't work, be patient and allow God to help you.

Health / Re: Do You Also Experience This? by Godiloveu(f): 6:33pm On Feb 02, 2017
samhay:
Straight to the point.

I enjoy doing most of my things indoor or online, let me say I hate traveling a distance more than 15minutes.

Each tym I travel for longer period, I feel so weak, tired and sometimes feel like throwing up. This has nothing to do with the smell of fuel.

The last tym I went on a long distance trip was couple of weeks ago and since I knw how I always feel, I tried something different. I do keep to myself and either listen to music through my headset or surf the Internet but this last trip, I tried being active and lively. We discussed although the journey but as soon as I alighted from the car........ The usual feeling crept in.

I just heard some called it MOTION SICKNESS

Do you experience the same thing?
What do you do?

DRASTIC IMMIGRATION ENFORCEMENT IS NOW HERE. Section 5 of President TRUMP'S EXECUTIVE ACTION on Immigration titled "Enhancing Public Safety within the Borders of the United States" announced today is deceptively broad, and applies to all immigration law violators, not only felons.

WHAT DOES THIS EXECUTIVE ACTION STATES? It states as follows:
Sec. 5. Enforcement Priorities. In executing faithfully the immigration laws of the United States, the Secretary of Homeland Security (Secretary) shall prioritize for removal those aliens described by the Congress in sections 212(a)(2), (a)(3), and (a)(6)(C), 235, and 237(a)(2) and (4) of the INA (8 U.S.C. 1182(a)(2), (a)(3), and (a)(6)(C), 1225, and 1227(a)(2) and (4)), as well as removable aliens who:
(a) Have been convicted of any criminal offense;
(b) Have been charged with any criminal offense, where such charge has not been resolved;
(c) Have committed acts that constitute a chargeable criminal offense;
(d) Have engaged in fraud or willful misrepresentation in connection with any official matter or application before a governmental agency;
(e) Have abused any program related to receipt of public benefits;
(f) Are subject to a final order of removal, but who have not complied with their legal obligation to depart the United States; or
(g) In the judgment of an immigration officer, otherwise pose a risk to public safety or national security.

SECTION 5 does not start and stop with individuals convicted of serious offenses. It is all encompassing.

TO WHOM THIS EXECUTIVE ACTION APPLIES? This provision applies to anyone in the U.S. illegally. If you have overstayed, this provision applies to you. If you are charged but not convicted this provision applies to you. If your offense is a misdemeanor, this provision applies to you. If you came to the U.S. with false or fraudulent documents, this provision applies to you. If you admit to committing an offense for which you were never charged or convicted, this provision applies to you.

WHAT ARE THE CONSEQUENCES TO YOU? This means if you are found, you will be detained. You have a right to proceedings before an Immigration Judge, and depending on your immigration infraction you may be eligible for bond. Catch and Release, under Trump, will be no more. There may well be new interpretations of existing immigration laws, which may make it harder to get relief from removal.

WHAT CAN YOU DO NOW? For those who overstay, including those with certain criminal convictions and immigration violations, you may still be able to legalize your status, obtain waivers, and barring significant changes in interpretation of existing immigration laws, relief from removal is available. Now is the time to understand how this new policy will impact your stay in the U.S., and to seek whatever relief available under current law, including adjustment of status.

Just got back from the embassy with my husband
Advice no 1: Don't listen to those guys that do colored print out! They are scams They lied to me and my husband that embassy won't collect any documents in black and white They collected 8k from us for that!Only to get to the embassy and everyone was allowed to enter with B&white
Advice no 2: If you are applying please fill your forms by yourself don't use agents!

Advice no 3: If you are married it's better to apply with your spouse. My husband passport was a virgin passport, although I hv travelled before. We were both given the visa.
Advice no 4: you don't have to hv a relative in the US, you can book your hotel reservation on booking.com for free, just look for the hotels with free cancellations.

OK tnx .

good news op, u just dey play in that marriage, u re d head it is time for u to build ur home else ur children will be the ones to suffer most, divorce or not.

A brother of mine is also involved in dis type of ur situation, but in his case the lady only has ssce cert. they ve 3 girls as children n she intend to ve more kids unless she ve a boy, if not she will not stop ving children, ( remember no income RM her side oo) family planning stuff she refuses to go for it, the husband want to divorce her his family said no, so now the battle is still on.

so dear op, u ve to build ur home with both physical n spiritual methods, n I wish u luck.
