Christianity EtcRe: Do You Believe There's Curse Of The First Born by Godmann(m): 12:16pm On Nov 19, 2012
First-borns bear a big responsibility. You must carter and protect your younger ones when your parents are not able. Whereas your parents friends are all your siblings friends; their enemies tend to single you out for destruction.

So first sons must be brave to succeed. It is a tasking position that can also be interesting if you are brave.

I am one and know what I am saying
Jobs/VacanciesRe: ‘60% Of Nigerian Graduates Are Unemployed’ by Godmann(m): 5:12pm On Nov 15, 2012
hasyak: unemployable? i believe that should be the correct word.

Here people are lazy and dont want to think and work hard, always looking for shortcuts.

As a graduate, you should be able to "USE YOUR HEAD AND THINK" and do something no matter how small and grow, most you look for JOB?

You can create jobs from your head, Nigeria is still a virgin market for lots of ideas. You can improve on a service thats is already there or create something new!

Jobs should be a stepping stone to your dreams not your dreams, so start THINKING!

Even on Nairaland here, some people make money by selling their services or product. You dont need to have the product yourself, but have a relationship with the owner of the product/service and market it and make some commission. Many will rather spend their time here posting nonsense from one page to the other, if that time is used for promoting your service or product i believe you will make money.

Do you know what Economics is? The Federal Government controls the economy globally; meaning we can only operate within the circle they created. If they create a small circle, we share the little that is inside. If a bigger circle, we have more to ourselves.

The fact is that our economy has shrunk to an unbearable level. What can an individual do in the economy? Can you farm? No. There are no implements. Even ordinary fertilizer you cannot get. Animal feeds are hardly available. What about Financing your business? Even medium companies find it extremely hard to source credit in this economy because of our government banking policies.

Legally, there are no grounds to do business in Nigeria because there are no laws. If I defraud you in this economy, you can't get back your money unless you are more connected than I am. If I invent anything in this country, no one can protect my invention. All the business in Nigeria is mainly about stealing and copying other people's invention.

Tell me who you can run a business in Nigeria than by stealing.

That is the problem. Our corrupt government is the problem.

Our people are not lazy; it is the systems that encourages laziness.

I will always say it a thousand times that these Northers are politically more advanced that the Southerners.

Their suggestion should be embedded in the Nigerian constitutions. We must all have freedom and rights to live in any part of Nigerians and accumulate properties without discrimination.

Upon these we can lay the foundation for a greater Nigeria

Can't you guys read in-between the lines?

Peter took Bianca and Ojukwu was heart-broken; hence the stroke that killed him.

Now Umeh with Okorocha wants to take APGA from Peter Obi; hence the crises in APGA.

Rogues at war.
ProgrammingAn Interesting Web/programming Project. by Godmann(op): 5:44pm On Nov 12, 2012
If you believe you can write smart Web Applications in PHP and will want to share some tasks in A project that is geared toward improving the life of our People (Nigerians);

If you can squeeze out your free time to work on a PHP driven Web application, that will involve some elements of a WEB Crawling, WEB Information Retrieval (Search Engine) plus all the usual Web Applications, to constantly search selected website;

If you believe in using your knowledge and skills to make the world a better place, and willing to work with patriotic Nigerians who seek for change;

Let talk on 08090631503; godwin.aleke@gmail.com

If however you are a Patriot without a Programming experience but can part-finance the project – [Financing the procurement of Computer hardware resources and the minimal staff who will administer the Project when operational]; you are welcome to talk to us.
THE TASK.
We are setting out to devour some selected web sites and "play a good game with their contents".
I am looking at a local medium that will serve generations yet un-born. There is no immediate financial gain for us but we will certainly be setting a ground breaking precedent that will reshape our nation and the way we do things.
Future generations will certainly be grateful to us if we can achieve this.

Who knows, our project might turn out to be a local version of a technological break-through.

Prerequisite. Must Sign a Non-Disclosure agreement before we can discuss the nitty-gritty of the project.

PoliticsRe: Amnesty Accuses Nigerian Army Of Abuses. by Godmann(m): 1:44pm On Nov 02, 2012
[size=15pt]While all sensible Nigerians must condemn Boko Haram; We must note the following.

Every day ordinary northerner is not a supporter of Boko Haram.

Today, the Nigerian state with Criminals in charge, counting from the Presidency to the local government councilors in its incompetency have massacred thousands of innocent Nigerians in the fight against Boko Haram. Every Honest Soul must be preserved.

It is true that an average Southerner is less bordered by the Killing of thousands of Northern youths, the same way the northers refused to be bordered when Southerners were killed.

This pure Tribalism will get all of us from either of the divide no where.

We will all continually indulge in kill-me-I-kill-you that will keep our nation perpetually down.

Amnesty International is an unbiased umpire that has said the truth as it shall be here.

To hell with the criminals that rule us as a people; the earlier we get rid of them, the better for all of us

X-factoria:
@ Poster:

I don't think he hit you because of what you left in the sitting room but perhaps because you probably are taking sides in his tussle with your mum and have ignored him completely over the years and yet enjoy his benevolence and goodwill. I may be wrong though.

Granted your father's weakness in not being able to control his anger, I think you should re-examine the role you are playing in his sour relationship with your mum. That is the problem I see here. You said you only visit his house to spend time with your mum. You probably ignore him while you do that and he is a human being too. He needs to be loved. He probably thinks he has shown you much love and the only way you pay him back is cling to your mum and ignore him. It could be "jealousy" at play.

So before you leave his company, weigh your options probably. If you are sure you need him, which is not a bad idea since he is your dad, find a way to reach out to him and please "stop being judgmental of him". Everyone has a weakness and bartery may just be his share of that.

CALM DOWN BRO!
You are a born counselor. You have said it all. Let the guy digest what you have said.

Checkout every person that have opposed this noble idea from David Mark and you are seeing a covert Tribalist. I do not like David Mark and will never trust him, but what he has just said has been on my mind. It is the best way to go about uniting Nigerians.

Believe me, all human beings are the same. We all have one hope, one dream and one fear. Who says even people from one state, local government or town must share a common language or culture. What they must do is share a common law (do's and don'ts). When we remove the stupid state of origin, people will feel less tied to a place simply because his dad was born that place. In some cases, we call ourselves Igbo, Hausa, Yoruba simply because our grand parents migrated from the place.

So the way to go is to remove this archaic relic called place of origin and treat all men as equal.

The European that labelled us as tribesmen were not all born with one tongue. They have several tongues but made deliberate efforts to be one. We must unit our people for the good of all of us. Tribalism, racism and sectionalism are things of the old. They are antithetic to civilisation.
