Josh090: Bro, I kinda like the way you reason, its quite better than those of some of your belligerent brothers. The payment of 20pounds to Igbos (in my opinion) is born out of fear. Gowon as the head of that Government was unlettered. Muritala Mohammed also was (and in any case had a serious hatred for Igbos). Awolowo with Senior permanent secretaries including Enahoro and Anyila advised that the policy of 20pounds be implemented. It was these same people and same mentality that brought about the abandoned property. Remember, these are supposed to be our fellow southerners. I am wrong to have said Yoruba; I would have said a greater percentage of Yoruba intellectuals and leaders. It will also help if you can listen to Akintola’s address to Yoruba sometimes around 1964 on Igbo domination. As for the invasion of Ore, it was wrong. But I believe there was no intention to denigrate Yorubas. Remember the troops stopped at Ore in the first place b/c they were trying to get the support of Yoruba leaders before preceding down to Lagos. The real story is that while Ojukwu wanted the troop to head direct to Lagos, Banjo (a Yoruba and leader of that operation) and the leaders of that operation who comprised mainly the Boys that organised the January 1966 coup (Ifeajuna, Ademoyega etc) preferred what they called a "Third force" that will call both Ojukwu and Gowon to order. They were trapped in the East but never supported Ojukwu in his secession bid, nor were they happy with the way Gowon was running the nation. They preferred to stop both of them and carry on from where they stopped in 1966. So on crossing over to Asaba, they chose to unfold another agenda different from what was agreed with Ojukwu in planning the operation. The initial goal was to get to Lagos early enough and cause a stalemate between Lagos and Enugu. They wanted to force the Federal Government out of Lagos by that operation. Banjo chose to negotiate his ways into Yoruba land and thing did not go the way he planned. When they went back to Enugu, Ojukwu killed them. This was an unfortunate incidence. I am never a supporter of Ojukwu. I have told my dad who fought that war on the side of Biafra that they were misled and I meant it. While also condemning Gowon, I hold Ojukwu guilty in taking some serious selfish decision that lead to the war. I seriously believe Nzeogwu's dead was masterminded by Ojukwu. Nzeogwu was an Igbo hero and shared none of Ojukwu's secessionist agenda. Nzeogwu would have joined Banjo and co in their third force bid of he was alive. And believe me; he would have changed the course of that unfortunate history. But as a core radical progressive that he was, he showed his hands early and Ojukwu had to get away with him. The circumstance of his dead is another story; needless to say that they lied to the Biafran masses that he was killed by Nigerian Soldiers; the very soldiers that saw his dead body and took it to Kaduna for national burial. A close study of those events reveals (as always) that what was at stake was the glory and ambition of few individuals and never that of any group or tribe. Nigeria's foundation somehow was laid on personal betrayals. Those few initial elites were mainly all manipulators. They deceived the whole nation. I will give you an instance. Tony Anenih was Zik's ADC. Don't you believe his politics of today must have been learnt from Zik. And seriously I have evidences that Zik played Machiavellian Politics. Zik used some Igbos against other for personal glory. So the mess we are in today is a creation of our past |

Ozichim: I dought if U are an Igbo Man. wake up before it is too latew for. Ur thibking about GEJ is cpmpletly wrong! How explain? Is he Igbo? Is he intelligence? is he governing Nigeria the way you want? Did you really see the postings in the army? I saw it and shouted even before this argument. It was completely insensitive. I only saw one Muslim name. The names were not even Igbos mainly; it was mainly Minorities. We must understand that Hausa's will one day rule Nigeria again. We must be fair to them in order to demand fairness from them. I concede we are more advanced in terms of schooling than them, just as they are more advanced in political organisations than us. We must try to carry them along. Have you ever imagined that 9 years after the war (A war that should not have been); the people we fought against appointed one of us as Vice president (Alex Ekwueme. That is advanced leadership; trying to give a sense of belonging to all. If you can think very well about history; you should have seen the roles played by our south south Brothers and Yorubas during the war. They simply used the Huasas (Who were somehow annoyed because of Nzeogwu's coup) to displace us. After the war, who ceased our life savings and gave us 20 pounds? Yorubas. Who ceased our properties and positions? Yorubas and South South. These very people have said it to my hearing so many times even before the emergence of GEJ that an Igbo man will never rule Nigeria. An Hausa-Fulani man has never said that to me. We can say we had a fight with the North during the war. But we had no case with Yoruba and South South. Why did they act the way they did. You can begin to see that what we have in Nigeria is just people struggling for positions and pulling other down. We have sheer envy and not Hausa domination say to say. I am sorry to say it. I have stayed in the North and do not think their leaders are worse than our leaders. Our leaders are worse. In my own local government, since I was born, the allocation has always been diverted by as little as one or two individuals. These are money meant for local villagers to take care of themselves. Even fertilizers have been diverted by the very people who will first call us for tribal wars. I have seen these people stole from our people. I have seen them lie and loot. I have seen their arrogance and stupidity. In the North, I have seen real humility of leadership. Even when they stole in the North, I have seen them share the money in crude ways. Ask any copper that served in any local government in the north. They get shares. You can see that the problem in the north is more like a misconception of governance and developement whereas what we have in the East is sheer wickedness. Away with these tribal wars. Away with Inept GEJ and his likes. Away with corrupt and stinking Atiku, IBB, Abdusalam. What we need is good governance and equal opportunities for all. Come to think of it. All humanity is same. Come to think of it. It is possible our forefathers crossed-road when they were migrating to the extent that you may have a blood link to one so called Hausa man than the Igbo man you want to die for. In essence; we are one people and enough of tribalism |
When a child refuses to learn from history; he repeats the mistakes of his fathers. GEJ and his advisers are daily trying to drags us back to the mistakes of 1966. Each time I think of the emergence of GEJ and the way he runs Nigeria; I see too many similarities with 1966 events. I am an Igbo and proud. I believe the Igbos are special breed of people and believe Nigeria is different from other countries in Africa mainly because of the cultural influence of the Igbos and Southern Minorities. This does not mean to belittle the Hausas or the Yorubas. I love the Hausa-Fulanis in particular, for their humility and frankness. The Yorubas surely, I call the English of Nigeria: with both the positive and negatives attributes of the English; for those that understand what makes and Englishman. As an Igbo, I know the "IGBO-ENWE-EZE" spirit in us, made us unique. It enable us to believe in ourselves and to positively confront any challenge. It enable our poors, to work hard enough in order to challenge the rich. As a result there is no status-quo in Igbo land. Everyone is competing and rising. We have no kings (Forget the warrant Chief and 419 chief of later days). We share no hindrance to progress. We are always on the move for a better life. We have dragged Nigeria along and I am proud of this, even when other Nigerians failed to see this. But a negative consequence of our culture is our lack of diplomacy, humility and decency. Study a typical OMATTA (a name for Igbo traders) and you see these traits. You cannot be a leader and lack decency and diplomacy. If you must rule, you must carry others along. At times, you must bend your back for those you lead to climb. That is leadership; that is the price that forerunners pay for those they lead. Igbo achievers must learn this. While not trying to justify the wicked reaction of our northers brothers during the evil days of 19566 and after, Igbos would have guided Nigeria better if we have adopted some level of diplomacy then. Zik tried to do this, but could not succeed; he remain the best open-minded Nigerian leader when it comes to tolerating other tribes. The carriage of the Igbo elites made things difficult for him. I hate GEJ with every passion because he has proven not to be intelligence and a non-student of history. I see him as another Ironsi in power. He is daily dragging Nigeria into another war, in a confused state of things; in the manners Ironsi did. While secretly posting his trusted person into positions, he still pretends to carry everyone along. This was Ironsi's strategy that back-fired. The day I say the last military postings, I shouted because it was obvious pro-south and not pro-Igbo as alleged. The problem with Nigeria is that the Yorubas and Hausas see anybody that is not Hausa or Yoruba as Igbo. The persons GEJ is empowering are not all Igbos. They are mainly his South-South brothers. In the process, because we have shared close links with South-south, Igbo names must emerge. Afterall majority of the so-called south-south are Igbos that were cajoled to denounce Igbo after the war. The Ikweres, Kwales, Ogoja are glaring examples. Even the Igedes in Benue sound Igbo. I am sure some names from kogi also sounds Igbo. So we end up having names from Delta, Bayelsa, River, Cross river, Benue, Kogi; all sounding Igbo. Whenever the Huasa and Yorubas lose out to any of these people; becomes Igbo domination. We Igbos must tread very carefully. GEJ does not represent out interest. He cannot set us up, against other tribes ion Nigeria. If we choose to fight another war; it must not be another man's war. It must be a war for an interest not anti-Igbo in the first place. I suspect GEJ interest in power is anti-Igbo. His interest is purely for personal aggrandizement and nobody should allow himself to be used. The Interest of the Igbos is in a progressive and working Nigerians. The other tribes in Nigeria must get this. The Igbos must try to pass this message across because even when you have a mad brother (assuming the North and West are?), you must try to carry him along. One that fights a mad man is also mad. If Igbos fight other tribes; we all will die and no one will come out unscathed. In the final analysis whatever problem in the army promotion is a problem with GEJ. He is a manipulative leader that has failed to be fair to all; Hausa, Yoruba, Igbo and all the other minorities including Ijaw inclusive. Empowering few Ijaw men is not for the best interest of Ijaw nation. The best interest of Ijaw nation is for Nigeria to work. Our best interest is a nation where all of us can reach our full potentials. This is not a difficult task. It is the criminals that govern us that denied all of us these. The Nigerian cake is good enough for all of us. Our problem is corruption and not tribalism. Let the wealth of the nation go round; to all and sundry. To all Igbos; to all Hausas; to all Yorubas; to all minorities. My usage of minorities does not mean they are inferior to us in any way. It only mean that today we happen to be more in number. Tomorrow, they can be more. |
They are animals; they have got no sense. I pray they will not distract the players enough to stop them from winning the remaining matches. The only thing that have brought happiness to us for years these rogues wants to mar; shame on Criminals that impose as leaders; a judgement day will surely come |
Guys let celebrate the little good deeds by our people in authority; hoping that others can learn from them. http://www.vanguardngr.com/2013/02/i-get-n25000-for-local-trips-sanusi/ THE Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, Malam Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, has said he collects N25,000 per night for trips within Nigeria and fuels his personal cars with personal funds. Responding to questions asked by Lagos Lawyer, Mr. Bamidele Aturu, concerning recurrent expenditures on the CBN governor and his office in view of the rising cost of governance, Sanusi also said he does not charge CBN or the Federal Government any fee outside his remuneration. Early December, Sanusi, stirred the hornets’ nest when he suggested the reduction of the nation’s workforce by 50 per cent. Sanusi said a situation where the government spends over 70 percent of its annual budgets on recurrent expenditure at the expense of capital expenditure, mainly to service a few political office holders and public servants that account for about one million of the country’s 167 million population was unsustainable Sanusi’s comments, which raised dusts in the polity especially from Organised Labour made Aturu to ask 14 questions pertaining to his remunerations on December 31 pursuant to the relevant sections of the Freedom of Information Act, 2011. In the response dated January 16 and signed by S.M Onekutu (legal adviser/director, Legal Services), Sanusi, however did not disclose his total remuneration because it “is a subject of litigation” and it will be prejudicial. He also did not disclose how much he gets per night for foreign trips. Reacting to the CBN governor’s response yesterday, Aturu said while he was not completely satisfied with the response, he would commend Sanusi “for not behaving like most public officials who would have simply ignored the request. We are of the view that the reaction of the bank to our request will encourage public institutions to conduct their affairs transparently.” He continued: “We intend to do a follow up to the request as it appears that the Bank misunderstands some of the questions contained in the request. When we requested for the monthly remuneration of the Governor we were not asking him or the Bank to comment on an earlier decision which the Bank is contesting. We are aware of that decision”. Also, we were aware that section 8 of the enabling Act of the Bank empowers the Board of the Bank to fix his remuneration and that it is the responsibility of the President to approve whatever the Board fix. Indeed we stated this fact in our request. The answer we expected was a specific figure not a comment on an existing case. We still expect the Governor to answer the question as he is in a position to know exactly what he earns and if he does not know he could have simply said so. We are impressed that the Governor is entitled to only N25,000 as daily allowance when he travels within Nigeria. That is not excessive at all by Nigerian public officials’ standards and given his lofty position. However, it is a little troubling that while the Bank was willing to state the local daily allowance it refused to state what the Governor earns when he travels outside the country, saying that he receives what the Federal Government approves. We expect him to give a specific figure. The N25,000 he takes locally was also approved by the Federal Government. So why disclose one and not the other. “We agree with the Bank that the time frame we gave, as required by law, was insufficient to calculate or sum up the amount spent on chartered flights within and outside Nigeria. To this end, we shall be doing a follow up and although we are required to give seven days, we promise the bank not to sue immediately until about 28 days after the follow up to give the bank added tome to add up the figures. Once again we commend the Governor of the Bank and the staff for weighing in on the side of probity, transparency and accountability.”

The fact is that the what the black man has passed through had made him inferior. Whether it was calculated by the Whites or not is another story. To those that claim we should hold our leaders responsible; I say who imposed those leaders on us? The very emergence of the new order of today, where those that abandoned our culture for the Whiteman's education became the new elites and the new leaders is an overthrow of our natural leaders in the first place; let alone the numerous imposed leaders by the whites. The elimination of our leaders "in several overt and covert ways" by Western interest have denied us the opportunity to have our leaders that can be accountable to us. Read up about the emergence of Idi Amin, Mugabe, Mobutu, even our own Tafawa Belewa and Sarduna to understand who these whites refused us our leaders. In Nigeria, Sarduna and Belewa was groomed by the British in order to stop ZIK and Awo. Gowon was groomed by them. Buhari and Idiagbon was frustrated out of power. They worked with IBB to rubbish our economy. They eliminated Abacha b/c he was taking away their economic hold on us. During the War, they planned every move by the Nigerian side and frustrated the emergence of Biafra. Tell me how these people cannot be held accountable for our bad fate? If you know about the slave trade (Go watch the film - Root); you will further appreciate what we are saying. The Whites are responsible for our evil fate; but we also have the capacity to change it if we are serious enough |
Do you guys really know this man Ayim Pius? Can you remember how he provided himself to be used against Okadigbo by Obasanjo? Is he not a bootlicker like GEJ himself? Did he rose to prominence by sabotaging better qualified candidate? Remember he remained an Obasanjo stooge in the senate till when he was bitten by the same Obasanjo. I wonder what you people expect from him. Are people also not aware that his only qualification is that he cannot be smarter that GEJ? Was that not the criteria used to recruit him and the VP? I wonder why Nigerians can’t remember tomorrow. GEJ was recruited as VP because he lacked the capacity to say No to OBJ when Yar’adua as expected fails to govern as a consequence of his terminal sickness. Yar’adua himself was recruited by OBJ because he was sick and will create a vacuum that will enable OBJ rule from his prepared Board of Trustee chairman of PDP. GEJ recruited people himself is smarter than. What does it tell on the quality of our leadership? The Dumbest have been promoted to rule us and we all must remain dumb. |
Everything is easy. All that is required is training and commitment. The problem down home is that there is no training. Though programming is tasking and required very logical minds |
omosexy1: I refuse to be quiet. It is our quietness that makes politicians cheat us in broad day light. There is serious poverty in this country, people cannot eat in this country and someone is busy accumulating wealth in the name of religion. Is he accumulating it for God? Why don't your MOG practice true Christianity by doing good like Jesus did during his time. There is a Desmond Tutu who is influencing the public and screaming at the errors politicians in South Africa are making. Your alleged MOG is busy blessing Jonathan and praying for him so that Jonathan and his cohorts can continue to steal and do nothing this 2013. HYPOCRITESGood man. I see you thoughts. |
otokx: someone said its a natural revolutionYou're damn right. Natural law, karmic law will always take course. |
How big time liars and thieves come to rule us in this country is a mistery that only time will solve. This woman is living in deception. |
passion007: Sadly, it's the internet, the death of spelling and grammar...RIP...So long!Who appointed the chief of Naval Staff? GEJ. If you understand how offices politics works, you will know that the Chief of Naval Staff can only operate with the space provided by GEJ. It is possible that GEJ himslef might not have requested for the release of the Naval helicopter but owing to the power he has knowingly or unknowingly given to his aids; the aide can get whatever they want from every parastatal of government without following due-process. That is why administration in Nigeria is all about "hangers-on" and sycophancy. It is the body language of those on Top that creates it. Some body like Idiagbon will never allow such. GEJ from all I can see around him is encouraging it. If you follow his antecedents, especially his appointment of Ringim as Inspector general of Police when everyone knows of his incompetency, you will see how bad GEJ is. I need not tell you that GEJ himself is incompetent if you are a very good and unbiased observer of Nigerian Politics and our politicians. We should try follow his rise from ALams to Obasanjo good book before he became VP. We should take a look at his performance in Yar'auda's Cabinet and judge him by that. We should think on how he dumped his most performing Minister and how he had tackled Boko Haram and other security challenges. I do not see GEJ capable of even running my village. It is unfortunate I warned people about it. I wrote an article the day he tried banning Nigeria from world soccer and was threatened by a telkephone call on a Sunday by group of people from an enclosed Location. From my calculation that could have only came from the security office or his campaign team. That is how I read GEJ a desperate power hungry and incompetent man; and he has not let me down. I wish him and Nigerians luck. Meanwhile, I work for a Revolution. That's the only solution. |
passion007: You guys are funny. Every mishap Nigeria experiences has a way of alluding to Jona, otherwise you won't satiate your hankering for a conspiracy theory. Jona should buy newer aircraft, Jona should maintain them, Jona should convey VIPs wherever there is an occassion in Nigeria (o na-anya taxi?), now Sahara mentions he has ordered 2 new aircraft in the hope he will be condemned. How come a highranking security official did not see the danger in boarding an aircraft that had made 10 trips in one day? How come a Governor depends on the largesse of the President to attend a funeral? Nairalanders as usual barking up the wrong tree, and making trouble for the wrong person. So you cannot see an abuse of office here? When did navy Helicopter become a personal property of the Presidency? The Presidency have over 7 planes/Jet on his presidential fleets which Nigerians have been shouting against. As if that was not enough, the presidency Hijacked Navy Helicopter for what has been rightly called Kabukabu just to satisfy his aide/friend Oronto Douglas. The presidency as we are getting to know also deployed the same navy to serve as same Kabukabu when his Brother died. Is this not an impeachable offence? Can Obama or any European leader hijack the country's armed forces equipment for personal (or even state function) except in an even of war or national disaster? Nigerian leaders have always been inept; but GEJ is representing the deepest of the dept. He is a fool and will always remain so for me. When the South (mind you I am Igbo) were lying from both sides of our mouth about Zoning; I told people that another Ironsi is coming to Power in GEJ. Just follow the trend and you see another 1966 in the making. It is unfortunate we refuse to learn from history in our nation. Sorry Nigerians. Until we revert back to our senses; we will continue to perish. |

Guys it is just rubbish. It is a proof that we are made of limited intelligent. We cannot be morning and be celebrating at the same time. The greed and hunger in us have taken better part of us. Wake up guys |
It is unfortunate that the few who do not feel the hardship in the land will never appreciate why the ruling Nigerian elites all deserve death. I will say it, with every authority, that majority of Nigerians are too poor that they have never had access to the internet. They have never been to nairaland. They hardly can afford free N100 to browse, or even leave in Cities, where there are cafe. So, we can see that those capable of commenting here are among the privileged TOP 25% of Nigerians. My question is: If among you, the supposed 25%, this percentage can be against the Ruling cabal, what percentage of Nigerians do you think will want the cabal done away with, if every Nigerian is to be rightly informed, and empowered to be able to make comment here? The few that have benefited from the corruption in the land will never get the real picture. Those that their parents, uncles, aunties, Sugar-Dady's; are in positions, and have been favoured will always assume the others are lazy. Can someone show me any part of the world where the government have abandoned the citizens to their fate? Tell me a country where all that the government does is to share oil money in Abuja? Tell me a country where the unemployed rate is as high as in Nigeria (Honestly, I believe our unemployment rate is way over 50%)? Some will say we should help ourselves? I ask: How many of us have tried running a business in this country? Can you run a business without engaging in corruption in Nigeria? Can you provide your own police in Nigeria as a Business man? Are we not aware that virtually every Nigerian now is a rogue (and our government is purely to be blames. People turn to rogue when they can get away with it owing to lack of appropriate policing; and also when there are no other way of survival)? Can you provide your own infrastructure (Road, rail, Power etc) When we listen the Americans and British, we hear of government being the creator of opportunities. The truth is that, it is only government that can determine the global state of any economy. It is only government that can shape the country's banking. That our banking cannot support businesses is purely government's failure. I was a former banker and know what I am saying here. The lack of Credit facility in our land is the cause of an inept government. Credit creates money. If our Banks can be made to give more credit, the size of our economy will increase substantially. But this we do not have. Of course government cannot compel Banks to give out credit as you will shout back at me. I put it to you that if our Credit agencies are working as it should be, banks will be more willing to give credit to willing and able businesses but as is normal here; the licences were given that people that knew nothing about it. I tried my hands on this (As a banker, Programmer that can tell all that is needed; We must structure ways of tracking our people without valid addresses as is obtained in West. But we foolish corrupt elites will never be innovative or original; they know only how to copy the West). Also, if our laws can work, it will be easier for people to pull resources together and start of businesses. More jobs will be created. But our laws are non-existent. People cannot trust each other. When you do, you will surely be duped and the police and court will never help. What do you have; everybody shrinks to his own private funds; and opportunities became more limited. Who is to be blames for this? Is it not the executive which Ngozi has been part of that failed over the years? What about our import and export policies? are they not killing our local companies? Has Ngozi not been part of this for years? What has she done? Ngozi was part of the cabal that gave away $18b to save the crippling European banks in the name of paying our debts; whereas we know Argentina refused paying their own debt let alone paying out once. Are we not away that what they called our debt was accumulated interest and UNJUST penalties? The same Ngozi that celebrated paying our debt has dragged us back into borrowing? What is the logic here? Do you pay borrow and save at the same time? Is it logical saving your money in a bank at a lower interest rate only to borrow from same bank at a higher interest rate? Ngozi is saving up money in reserve (kept with Foreign bank - IMF chosen banks) and Sovereign Funds; while at same time borrowing to pay interest rates. Is this how to run an economy? Nigerians will never get it until OUR REVOLUTION comes. Ngozi and her like are IMF-WORLD BANK-CIA-M16-MOSSAB agents. They are neo-colonial agents used to enslave us. There are a thousand way we can turn around this economy. It is just that those on top are FOOLS. Go to Abuja and see for yourself. All your here is bring proposals. I have had several requests like this. I have tried and seen hell. How can you give a proposal to a need you know nothing about? Is the work of Ministers and commissioners not to identify problems (Needs) and seek proposals for solutions? But we have Executives that all run around looking for proposals to steal money, without identifying the needs of their ministry. I have friends that have made millions doing failed projects everywhere. You can make millions buying computers for the ministries if you are willing to "play ball". Is that how to run a nation? is that a way to create jobs and breed responsible citizens? Ngozi as the De-factor leader (a position she presently shares with Dezani) cannot offer a way out. All she does is lying from both sides of her mouth with a grand support base from the West who has strong confidence in her as their stooge. From what I know of our ruling elites; invent the best malaria drug and take it to Abuja for registration and your will be frustrated unless; your are HIGHLY CONNECTED or have enough money to bribe your way; or be able to share the proceeds of your investment with lazy corrupt "elites". Nigeria stinks. Our people are dying,. No one cares. We have a mumu GEJ on top. We have a stealing cabal every where surrounding him. This cabal should be done away with. Kidnapping is not just enough. Aso Rock should be bombed; national Assembly should be Bombed; All these sellouts should be done away with. The pride of our forefathers must be restored. We deserve a country that can stand and fight for us in the committee of nations. This centuries old slavery that started with "Discovery/Exploration, Slavery, Forced Trade, Colonisation, Flag Independent and Neo-colonialism" must be brought to an end while we live. If we don't our children will suffer a worse fate than ours |

confusion247: A lot of confusion in the land today with no end in sight. We are doomed and ruined.Don't worry. The end is in sight |
I will not say I am a Nigeria because in practical sense there is no nationality called Nigeria. We have an enclave of Neo-colonialist called Nigeria as there are so many of its kinds in Africa. The fact is that Africa was conquered long before slavery; in the sixteenth century. They looted our territory, enslaved us, colonized us. When America became the greatest power in the world at the end of second world war; the colonial powers was cajoled to arrange a fake Flag Independence for us deceiving our people that we are free whereas what happened was a transformation our SLAVES from colonial masters to Neo-colonialist. Since then, they have directly and indirectly controlled the Puppet that rule us (who they pick from among us). Those puppets that refuse to follow the lead of the Noe-colonialists in running anti-people, anti-African policies were booted out using some underground means. So I am an Africa - leaving under the slavery of Noe-colonialists who in cahoot with corrupt uninformed, unintelligent puppets from our land; who have chosen to dedicate all my energy (A very small one, but I know a fire starts from little sparks); to work for the restoration of the Freedom of my people. I wish I can link up with all patriots so that we can work together to expose the IMPOSITION who have destroyed our heritage to the common people of our land for what they are. I hope that in my life time; we can begin to truly confront our challenges and begin to rebuild the Blackman countries of over 500years ago. |

pharmow: That is Peugeot 505 right? The man has gone a long wayWhich History does Nigeria have? A history of stealing and corrupt coward that destroyed our land? doppler777: I'am proud of him as a FARMER!..thousands are employed & the benefits of his livestock/farm produce in general..Proud of a man that stole enough money and enough land? A man that could not run the farm well as the farm was in ruin by the time Abacha took him to gallows? Proud of a man that created all the troubles in our country today. He gave us a dying Yar'adua and a grossly incompetent Jonathan as President through the most ignominious election rigging as recorded in our country? Shame on you. Dee60: In spite of his shortcomings and tendencies, he is still the best president ever...even the PhD holder is not anything close!A fool that could not pass his PHD after 10years until he was allowed to have the certificate when he became a Deputy Governor and was able to bribe his way? Why do you guys like rewriting History? Is GEJ in any way, by his conduct a PHD degree holder? I can rule Nigeria better than GEJ. Most of us can but the criminals that rule Nigeria (with your messiah OBJ as one of them), will never allow educated people rule. Their mentors across the ocean will never allow our real geniuses transform our land. We are better than your hero-fools; OBJ, Yar'adua, GEJ, IBB, Abacha, etc |
Sincere 9gerian: The 'weak' Jonathan has shown why he is 'weak'. For Jonathan, the END always justifies the MEANS. Where is Farouk Lawan, who was running his mouth during the fuel subsidy probe? Where is INjustice Salami and his ACN cabal of judges? Where is Timipre Sylva? Where is the Yar Adua cabal? Where is the northern consensus candidate? etc, etc, etc. Others on the queue soon to be CRUSHED include- Speaker Tambuwai, the spokesperson for the house of reps(one Zakari), Buhari(was crushed the last time but it seems he's gearing to queue up again), OBJ, Rotimi Amaechi, Atiku(was crushed the last time but he appears to be queuing up again), boko haram, Lai Muhammed, El Rufai, etc, etc. They will all take their turns to taste DEFEAT.Yea, let Jonathan crush whoever he wants, but you forget that the Nigerian people have been crushing and will ever remain crushed so long as an incompetent and insincere fool like GEJ remain at the helm of affairs. You foolish Nigerians will never learn. You elected him as a fake messiah. The later said his is a tranformation agenda. Now we are back to square one. We are back to a criminal election rigger; a criminal looter called Anenih; A know occultist; and you fool are here celebrating as if it takes only the criminals to rule us. I accept that Atiku and co are evil. I accept that North have produced more of the criminal elements that destroyed our land than the South; but you cannot label the whole Northerners derogatory "Aboki". It shows how archaic, uncultured and uneducated you are. Ken Nnamani stopped Obasanjo in his third term; yet you prefer a criminal called Anenih over him. Tell me how Nigeria will change if we continue to think like you. And most certainly by Sunday you will trip to church like all the fools and call yourself Christ-like. You are a fool for refusing to see the truth |

ba7man: The people that attend these Churches are Nigerians. Churches are supposed to provide a Moral foundation for individuals but we choose to dwell on the mundane things. Who shouts d loudest "Amen", who drops the most offering, who gets to sit in front, who's closest to the Pastor, Pastors are now so rich b'cos people want to pay for blessings and they ignore spiritual development. Churches aren't the problem in this country...its the people within that are. This is a very complex topic and difficult to understand scenario. If you want to follow me; put on your thinking cap and read. What shapes an individual? Basically we are shaped by what we see, the fun's we can have and the difficult we try to avoid. When you punish a child or any human being over an activity, he avoids the action. When you compensate by extending any payment, be it even praise that makes the person feel good, he tries to repeat the action. That is the whole essence of laws. Laws are made to serve as deterrent from evil actions that destroys societies. Compensation, Financial reward, praises and the rest are given to encourage good behaviour. With these two tools, you can shape any society. A big fact also is that all humans wants pleasure, praise, looking good etc at the unconscious level. If given opportunity to cut corners to achieve these (without any punishment - either from the society or God), almost all humans will cut corners. If cutting corners becomes the only way to survive or even achieve some good feelings in terms of pleasures, all humans will most certainly cut corners. It is because of this still that law and law enforcement is very important. What we have in Nigeria, is that over the years, cutting corners and other irresponsibilities have become a way of life. We look around us and all the good things of life are for those that cut corners. The corrupt are living big while the angels are dying of poverty. We have had former top government officials who could not provide for their children. Their children hate them and could not understand while the their colleagues who choose to steal from the treasury have a better life than them. The youths grow up in societies where the corrupt are having good life while the angels are dying of hunger. The youths will instantly choose to be corrupt in order to live good life. With these, corruption become a way. Now when you go to church and you see the corrupt being well recognised; and given the front sits; nothing the pastors preach will make a meaning. When the pastors are seen to live a worse life; the preaching become a non-issue. So the Churches and the Mosques will make no change in a rotten society. It is only the government who has the power to dispense and immense wealth and also the power to punish with an immense Security outfits that have the power to change societies. can someone remember what Buhari/Idiagbon achieved under 16months? If we can have a good and dedicated President who can manage to survive the numerous plots they will hatch against him; rule us for just 4 years; the whole corruption will reduce significantly. We are corrupt because our government who controls the big money keep empowering the corrupt with it while denying the angels a say. It is our government that destroyed our society. Churches lack the power to fight a corrupt government except through civil disobedience. Someone will now ask, how did we evolve the bad government of day? The common fallacy we have all learned to say is: "A people deserve their government". It is true that a people deserve their government given a perfect society with no outside interference. But our case is different. In short, what we call our government is not ours and have never been ours. It is an imposition by our Western conquerors. Remember we were conquered for about 500 years ago (The discoveries in search of wealth by the European lords that is akin to looting a foreign territory; the slave trade that was ochestrated for the gain of Western Europe and America by the European who were able to get paid agents among us; the colonisation and brainwash in terms of education and religion; the flag Independence they gave us and the present day Neo-colonialism). Going on to analyse these and how it destroyed our ability to have control of our government will make serious volumes that will distract from the issue at stake. Needless to say, that our government has never evolved from; or been under the control of the Nigerian people. Our Police was created to subdue us. Our Army was an instrument of colonising us. Other institutions were never given to us as a right, but as a privilege. As a consequence, even till date, our ministries and government parastatal will never take orders from us. They will rather dictate to us in the manners the colonial masters dictated to us. These have never happened and will never happen anywhere in Europe and America. So we adopted a wrong type of governance thanks to an initial and controlled imposition by the West. The Foreign Big Mater we called government have all the resources. Our first set of people that made contact with the Colonial masters were bought over against us. They served a foreign interest against us and owe NO ALLIANCE to us. Our culture became that of People within government corridor against the interest of the Society. Government to us became an avenue to protect and build personal empires. This is the making of a Foreign power that learned to bribe and set us against each other. These also was the origin of tribalism - one tribe against the other. The activities of these BIG and CORRUPTING master that we called government is what what corrupted our society. It was made easy with the Big Financial Resources at their disposal. The Big Military force at their control made it a fait accompli. The only solution is to "SOMEHOW" take over these government and change the society with the resources at its disposal. This "SOMEHOW" is the big issue here. There are only two way to it. A military intervention plotted by people who understand the issues at stake and ready to drive the solution. Honestly, though this is risky, it remains the easiest path. A second way out is when the difficulty that our rotten situation will create will make the land unbearable and force people to the street or create the condition that will make the "unlearned" run away from Power at the center. If we are lucky to have the "learned" as leaders after these events (which must come to pass at some time according to laws derivable from nature), the recreation can then start. The last option is when the very unpredictable nature of politics prompt up a "learned" who can then go on to recreate our country. Though the Western Neo-colonial interventionists have build up a great Spynetwork always intervening to eliminate Leaders who can Liberate us. They do this in several ways which I can go into here for lack of time and space. So my submission is that the Churches lack the ability to Control the Society or the Government. The Churches can only mobilise the people for a mass action. That is where their power ends. Only the government can change the society. Taking Control of the Government is another big Headache. When we do this, our Society can begin to change. It is only the understanding of these that my interest in politics came to be. Politics shapes the society. These same politics have become a field where the unholy tread. What is the way out? |
Churches can never change Nigeria. It's only Nigerians that can change Nigeria. On my way to work. will do a write up on this interesting topic later |
Let the drones come. it will definitely unite our people, letting us see clearly who our enemies are, to enable us fight our much delayed war of liberation. We are their slaves even as we are, something must open our eyes to ask for freedom. The drones might be the answer, who knows! |
Nigerians are illiterates. I have always known even without visiting Borno Or Yobe; just from news reporting and sentiments pouring out; that the military are killing innocent civilians. It happened in Jos during the crises. The military Muslims were on the slimmest excuse to kill a Christian while their opposite Christians were on the same excuse to kill Muslims. We should all go back to the caves if we can not learn how to tolerate one another. Within GEJ, cabinet, I swear they know the Military are killing innocent Civilians. I am Igbo but have a brother in Maiduguri; had to call him and tell him to always dress well; because my understanding of Nigerian and how they profile people tells me they can label anybody as Boko Haram and kill him ones you look like a dirty Muslim. I have fought severally with Southerners in Lagos calling an ordinary Huasa boy Aboki in derogatory terms. When are we going to grow up and see all humans as the same and equal? |
should consider farming as well includng those new "PRIVATE JET OWNERS".
