CastedDude: A Nigerian soldier, Silas Ninyo (93NA / 36/2608), was allegedly shot dead by the captain, T. Mani, who had attempted to stop him from beating innocent civilians in Chibok, Borno State.
According to reports, the shocking incident is said to have occurred on Sunday afternoon after a team of soldiers, led by one Captain T. Mani (N/14430), was providing security for worshippers during Sunday service in Chibok and received a distress call that Staff Sergeant Ninyo was beating civilians for unknown reasons.
Captain Mani, accompanied by soldiers, moved to the scene and freed the civilians. But while trying to disarm the errant soldier, Captain Mani was shot dead by Staff Sergeant Ninyo, who later shot himself dead after killing four others.

zoba88: Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike on Saturday escaped assassination as Special Anti-robbery Squad Operatives and soldiers of the Nigerian Army in the motorcade of the Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Chibuike Amaechi attacked his convoy.
The governor who was on project inspection was attacked at Nwanja Junction on Trans-Amadi Road.
The SARs Personnel and Soldiers in the Minister's convoy hit down the Governor's Escort Rider and attacked the policemen in the pilot car.
Mr Debewari , Aide -De- Camp, to the Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, supervised the attack, which included damage of cameras held by journalists .
Also part of the attack, was the Commander of Rivers SARS, Mr Akin Fakorede who received the Minister of Transportation at the Port Harcourt International Airport and accompanied on his trip.
After the attack, the Rivers State Governor continued with his inspection of Projects.
Governor Wike was not harmed, despite the attack.
The Minister of Transportation had over 50 SARS Personnel , Soldiers and Mobile Policemen in his motorcade.

We played and played to our maximum satisfaction that afternoon till evening when that my friend bade me farewell cos twas getting dark then. My Mum came home and she kinda noticed I was more than happy that evening compared to when she left earlier like I won a lottery during the day or something. That was the moment she started suspecting foul play, she asked me what's up with me and I said I was a little bit overjoyed about her arrival cos I was home alone all day. Then, she caught me playing the game late that same night and just like a typical Nigerian mother she asked me where I got the game from and I told her I bought it, then she asked with which money and that was the moment I realized I already shot myself in the leg the moment I said I bought it. Mehn, she beat the devil and the hell outta me that night even after confessing about stealing her money earlier to buy the computer game and the painful thing was I was made to return the game the following morning unless she ain't gonna give me food in that house again. Chei, I begged the seller like madt before the man decided to help my life by refunding me the money and thereby collecting the computer game back. Later that night i first asked him if he was cheating he blatantly denied but when i showed him the test result, he was dumbfounded and started begging, i asked him why with tears rolling down my eyes, he couldn't give any reason because he knows everything was great btw us, i told him we would never make love anymore that i can't risk my life because of sex, he was begging me saying he would change, i told him i can never trust him cos once a cheat, always a cheat.
My people, it's over a year and we've not had sex, he can't chase me away from the house because we both built it and the land is in my name, sometimes he comes home late but i really don't care since we have separate bedroom.
