Hallo Leute,
Congratulations to those who have received their visa and goodluck to all those awaiting theirs like me

I rarely see family reunion post here but I believe someone can help me out.

I had my interview at the german embassy on 3-01-2018 and my investigation was Finalised on 18-01-2018. Is it possible I might receive my visa this month?
Is there any other fam reunion applicant whose visa was processed within a month?
Is this normal? I have been on fasting since 1st of Jan. Could it be the reason why they started my process quickly?
Thanks and God bless us all!

I can see that you need an urgent answer. You just have to exercise some little patience because family reunion visa get processed directly from Germany since you are a prospective Permanent stay status holder of Germany. The issue of Asylum seekers really make things slow since last year because short of Staffs working with the Foreign offices.Just calm down and they will surely get back to you.

Cellphones are not problem. you can come with 7 if you like but the bag is the problem. Talking of Paulinus, anyways the only problem I had with him was the bag issue, nothing else but the way he was treating other ppl, older ppl was uncalled for. Shouting at them even when not necessary puts pressure and increases tension in them.

you can do your job strictly without doing none of that!!

Brother do not let that bother you,It is part of strategy,If you aren't bold enough then you cannot face success.(I have seen people who went back home angrily cos they thought they were too big to obey Mr Paulinus, If someone really want to pursue german goal then would obey the Mr Paulinus. Infact back then, we use to call him 'First Consular' because without his authorisation,No visA for you which means no Germany for you.).He once sent the likes of Kcee and top managers away in front of me.When you get to Germany someday, you get to understand that Germany is very strict and might sound rude because we Nigerians love nepotism.

They can't afford their rent and had no other option but to live this way. The percentage of those on drugs is less than 5%. Homelessness is a clear indication of the failure of the American dream

You are just pained about American... whats went wrong?Did you got Visa banned?

Every country got its ups and down.

America practices capitalism, the-same system that Nigeria is practising.Hence,We have different people living in a society with different income ranging from super rich ,middle class and lower class.

Hey Bro I can only imagine what you went through at the embassy gate, i have been in such situation when I also went for my interview sometime last year.

As I was reading through your write up everything I experienced that same day came alive.

That almighty Mr Paulinus, na only Baba God go judge am cos the man has made a lot of people go through hell.

Even those who finally made it into the embassy premises would have forgotten most of what they have rehearsed in preparation for the interview by the time they face the interviewer all because of almighty Paulinus.

The man knowingly or unknowingly would have contributed successfully to a lot of people's visa rejection due to the poor performance made on their interview.

I also want to use this medium to make a plea to everyone in the house, let's all make a clarion call against this almighty Paulinus that has brought so many misfortunes to most nigerians seeking for a German visa at the German Consulate General, Lagos Nigeria.

Thank you all.

Mr Paulinius is not doing anything wrong rather,He does the screening so as to reduce stress for the consulars. If you arrange yourself very well,You won't have issues with him.

Imagine when you have appointment for 7 am and you arrived 7 30 am begging him to let you go inside..He also know the appropriate documents for all visas.

I'm so tired of my husband. We been together for a total of 7 years (married for 2) . Throughout this time I've been telling him about his hallitosis (bad breath).
He would get angry that I dont want to kiss him but please how am I supposed to do this when his mouth is always smelling like latrine?
He is so tall and handsome with a great physique but his nonchalant attitude turns me off.
Our sex life is in the dumps although makes up for it by always eating my pzzy & a** and even though it turns me on, I hate the way he does it. Penetrative sex is wack.
He cant even fix things around the house.
All this makes it hard for me to look up to him with love & respect. We resent each other.

He is so tall and handsome with a great physique but his nonchalant attitude turns me off.

The above highlighted line is probably the main reason why u got married to him....Mistakes people make sha !!!

Hmm , this one is strong .
I understand how you feel .
The truth is, a time comes in our lives when we have to respectfully stand up to our parents and make them understand that we are adults , I think that time has come for you .Just make sure he is a good man , because you are about to make a sacrifice that would backfire if he ends up not being good enough. Besides you are going to your own apartment its not like you are going to live with him .

Please leave the house , tell your mum you love her , but you have to start standing on your own now .
I know its hard , but the way I see it and from the way you narrated who she is , this is the only way .

She can't disown you , she would even be missing you sef, when you leave just make sure you keep in touch with her and call her everyday if you can, to tell her how much you love her and miss her.
Mothers love is strong joor , use that to your advantage .

Hmm This sounds like a good advice but also difficult.I know so many youths with Igbo Background and none of their parents supported them marrying outside the tribe.I even know one right now that is seeking his Dad for forgiveness after the Dad cursed him for marrying lady of another nationality. It is their thing over there and if you care about your future and happiness,Then OP should listen and obey her mom .im sorry you are in this kinda of situation.

I have a bro and sis in the US. Both are citizens, I was told it is easier to file invites for parents rather than siblings.
What is the best route for me to go to U.S

Is it through applying for student Visa or awaiting an invite from my bro/sis?

Do not let your Brother and sisters file for you,I repeat do not let them file for you.

Such visas take more than 10 years before they get approval,Sometimes 13 years or more.

I am sure you do not want to get your life hanging for a Us visa. The irony of this also is once someone petitioned for you,You will find it difficult to get even student or Usa Visiting visa.Because the Petition already shows that you are a potential Immigrant.

Go to Usa with a Student Visa.Parents and children filing is easier,After approval its take maximum 1 year.

The country is resetting.

Believe me the power situation is improving in spite of what you suffered on arrival.

Crime is a personal thing though our society approves of it - forget all the internet condemnation.

So many of our youth have embraced crime.

We are hardly logical and we are not creative and so we suffer for that.

Nigeria is what Nigerians make of it. No singular person can change that.

Whereabouts in Norway - Trondheim, Bergen, Oslo?

I may not have lived in the US but I have lived in the UK long enough to know what high standards are.

My stay in the US wasn't for a few days on some occassions. It was for months on end. I guess enough to know the local areas I stayed when I did .

Thankfully, I've seen both sides of the financial ocean.

And No, money in Nigeria isn't only for the corrupt.

We need a rethink.

Agreed there are many black holes in our communities but it's not all Lego land in the States.

Now Norway is another proposition.

Compare both nations and you'll understand what standards are.

I know,Im currently living in Norway and have been to many countries so far...

Im not condemning Nigeria but how would you rate the country?going forward or backward cos i was home recently and i cant perceive any changes !

Landed at the airport in Lagos and No light.

And what does that say about privacy?

I'll tell you something.

Going to the States is not a big deal.

Been there several times .

Name it : Houston, Boston actually Framingham, Mass, Allentown Penn. New Orleans and of course NY.

Forgot to add Vegas.
Honestly can't count.

Been to lots of other places.

It's no big deal.

Maybe for some but not for me.

You seem to think you are in a peculiar position and it's totally laughable.

Until you go out you don't realise how many farms are bigger than yours.

Nuff said.

This is the same argument my Rich uncle uses,I have been THERE....But you haven't lived there?

However what works for Mr A is not surely gonna work for Mr b.We all know that there is money in Nigeria for those ones that are ready to participate in corruption, bribery etc

But let us call a spade a spade,What is the essence of those money when you living below standard?

I already told you. I am an expert in U.S immigration. You can come to the U.S legally with a green card and still face deportation. A green card has an expiration date. If your green card expires and you are not a citizen yet, you've just opened the door for deportation. You're welcome.

(Imagine what US is currently doing to pple, notwithstanding they ve lived all their lives over there. Recently, a Latino was deported back to his country after living in the USA for more than 30yrs.)

The above highlighted point is what triggered argument. As long as it remain unknown, the reason why the guy got deported,We've got no reason to argue.
Travel / Re: Why Nigerians Living In London Are Returning Home by Godson201333(m): 1:56pm On Jan 21, 2018
Bollinger:

Here's how it does. My initial response is based on the fact that i believed that the latino in question came to the U.S legally. Obviously, an illegal immigrant cannot apply for full citizenship.

Your arguments are contradicting bro...How can someone be in country legally and still be faced with Deportation threat, based on staying in USA unlawfully?most of the latinos entered illegally and same reason why Donald trump is cancelling the DACA program. No country grant you legal stay based on merit rather you need to perfect your paperwork.Even those who qualified for the DACA program are not allowed to have free movement abroad and also not allowed to get legal stay, even though many have been in USA for more than 10 years. They were only protected from deportation and could also work....So living in a country for many years or even working will never award you a permanent stay rather you gotta make sure you do the right thing...That is the reason why over 12 Million people live in the USA with no proper documentation.

The first rule of a discourse is the foundation has to be based on logic. Is it logical to let a person stay in a country when they came in illegally? Answer that.

How does your question relate to my response based on what you posted earlier?

(Bro, the latino is s.tupid. By law, if you've lived in the U.S for 5 years, you can apply for full citizenship. So, who's fault is it? And there's nothing like 3rd class citizen. You are what you make of it in America.)??

I do not like it when i see people making no Valid point. If you like live in the United state for 20 years,There are some certain requirements that someone need to fulfil before you can even step your feet to USCIS office to file for nationality.Getting legal stay in America is much more complicated in Usa than any of those other western countries. As long as you came in through the back door,Bro then you are on your own and many of these Latinos and our brothers and sisters, came in through back door.Worst case is that you need to hire a lawyer and pay the lawyer thousands of dollars. As an illegal immigrant trying to make life,You think they also gonna find easy pumping a Lawyer wallet with thousands of dollars?

The fact is most Nigerians who go to Europe and Asia end up coming back. But US, Canada and Australia? Lie lie...rarely. America nay the worst. If your brother dey go America especially at a young age " teens and 20s" tell him bye like you will never see him again. I say that because all my uncles that went to America, not one out of 7 have come back home. 3 that went to Europe and Asia, come back regularly. That said, the ones in America send money regularly. They just don't want anything to do with the shithole, meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeehn. I spoke to one of them yesterday, asked him when are you coming back it's been 29 yrs, he kept saying "I ain't coming back to that shithole, God damn that shithole. Trump keeping it real, meeehn." LOL.

Your analysis is not so true...Think of the proximity of Europe to Africa and America to Africa. The thing is that its just more expensive to come home for vacation from AMerica than when you live in Europe. You also need to put some certain cost into consideration, most especially if you have family.Another factor is that the population of Nigerians Illegal immigrant in America is higher than in Europe,Simply because in Europe deportation is very efficient while in America you can easily hide your face.

Hahaha! It won't make sense to you because you are foolish. And pained by what? By an Igbo aduro marrying a German lady? I am an Igbo and a proud one. I have lived in/travelled in many countries around the world legally, including Germany where I lived for 4 years. I live in the best country in the world right now, legally. I have never been an aduro for a minute. Aduro is not necessarily a bad thing although I consider it dehumanizing (that's me), and there are 1000s of them from Yoruba, Igbo, Edo/Delta in Europe. I have seen a few northerners. I used to know one from Taraba State who was Muslim. It was shocking to see him because I thought they own Nigeria and do not suffer like others from the south flocking abroad.

you area fool.....A very big IDIOT,I have no reason to argue with a NUISANCE!!! what is your own business with others being Aduro and what claim do you have that he is an Aduro.....Omo ALE

This Aduro (asylum seeker) is on his way to obtaining Germany's legal stay. Kudos to him. Many Nigerians have lived in Germany for donkey years without papers that allow them travel in and out of the country. With this marriage, this guy has earned his removal from aduro status in Germany. The lady will now return to Germany alone to file for him to come to Germany Legally as her husband. If she changes her mind at this point the guy is stuck in Nigeria for life grin grin grin grin grin

I once lived in Germany as a LEGAL student and I knew what went on among Yoruba, Igbo and, especially, Edo Aduro seekers in that country. One Yoruba guy, Akanbi, even almost married a mentally unstable German old cargo all for papers grin grin grin
