I just need to add one or two flavour to this Post.I notice that many Nigerians with foreign partner would always want to go home and flaunt their Partners.You guys need to know that its part of African culture/Mentality.When you see someone that is so foreign,You try taking advantage of them (Tourists) this can be done in different way Eg,Inflating the cost of goods and services,False exchange rate etc A traveller tend to experience this kinda situation where he is not well known or a Novice.You do not need to condemn Nigeria simply because they extorted you and your husband.Thats a normal thing with our law enforcement in Nigeria,It is only meant for you to be wise and smart.

Next time,Draw a nice budget, make necessary plans and Have a nice trip.There are people of white color living in Nigeria and having a normal life.

I think it's really cool that Nigeria has this forum, it's an interesting view into Nigerian life. Nigerian pop music is pretty cool, and I never knew that Nigeria had Uber.

So, are the posters on Nairaland from the Nigerian upper class? I am a 20 year old university student, and forums are mostly popular among young people in the USA - is this true for Nairaland as well, or is the average age older? How did you hear about Nairaland - do you use other social media as well?

Also, please tell me something cool about Nigeria, and/or whatever you think I should know about Nigeria If you have any questions for me I can probably answer as well.

I would only like to enlighten you.The reason why someone from Abroad would not want to give you money and take care of you is that the culture is different.Abroad women are very independent and love is never connected with giving,I mean we are not suppose to be buying love right ?? Yeah the guy back home tend to spend more on you because spending on a lady in Nigeria is more or less a competition.If you do not expect any financial assistance from an Abroad guy then i think his love might be real.Do you even know how much it cost to buy a calling card?unless he calls through whatsapp which is probably not always clear.

With a tourist Visa,You are and will never be a legal aliens in a foreign land.You can only cross to Germany before the expiration of your visa.

You won’t even be able to get a legal job and Germany is a country that emphasizes more on its language.

A Schengen visa covers free movement to 28 countries in europe.Now it depends on which of the 28 grants you Visa.If you got Germany Visa,Then your point of entry needs to be in Germany and not France or Spain,If not,you are subject to immediate deportation.Normally a Schengen Visa is always valid for 3 months but countries like Germany even issue 10 days Visa depending on your purpose of visit.


If you legally in possession of a Portugal Visa,Yes you can Visit Germany but hard to stay back because these 28 countries share thesame database which means they all can read your travel history and finger prints....

If caught, you get a penalty 10 years ban from these 28 countries including Uk!

You see those ones that travel through the Mediterranean get favor when staying back because they can easily seek asylum and their case go through a normal process.This sometimes take 2 years before they get final judgement whereby you that came in with visa cannot even seek asylum.

Either ways ,you need a taxi that can transport you down to Oshodi park and from there just board one of those reputable transport to Ibadan.

But if you want to avoid Oshodi, You can let the Taxi driver from airport transport you down to Ojodu Berger and from there you can board a Bus going to ibadan directly....Make sure you board a bus from a well know registered park.
