Let's be real, we all have these driving problems, when the car doesn't shift properly, car owners can perform costly transmission repairs. Because of this, drivers need to deal with the issues that are causing your car not to shift in the right direction as quickly as possible. You might have a simple problem that costs next to nothing. However, ignoring it can lead to a terrible transmission problem. In this situation, it is recommended that you contact a mechanic. They can give you a check for your broadcast system. The real question is, what are the signs that your car is not shifting properly? There are two main types of transmission repairs. So if your car isn't shifting properly you may need to check the transmission. If you need minor gear repairs, you usually have to check again for leaks, replace defective magnets, and replace the setting and parts of the throttle cable. On the flip side, your car will need to be disassembled, cleaned, inspected, and rebuilt when major transmission repairs are done. Fortunately, transmission failure usually gives car owners all the signs when this happens. So think about the following symptoms: 1. Fluid Leak If you are having trouble shifting, transmission fluid leakage can be one of your problems if the car isn't shifting properly. All car owners need to know that their car contains 6 main fluids. All of them are cool, smeary, and helpful. More precisely, they help you brakes, steer and clean your windshield. They are so helpful that without them your vehicle will be in big trouble. If your fluid fails or leaks, your engine cannot function properly. To identify this problem from a fuel leak in the automatic transmission, car owners need to determine the red or darker color of the fluid. They will have either a toasted or a sweet smell. The driver can easily spot the leak themselves by dripping suspicious liquids on your driveway. Another way to test this is to check the transmission's dipstick after the engine has warmed up. The stick is very useful for marking the fluid level. Since the fluid does not burn off like oil and the transmission fluid is low, a leak can occur somewhere. We recommend resealing the gearbox first and then topping up the fluid. 2. Warning Light Flashes One of the most common symptoms that indicate that your car may not shift properly is when the warning light comes on. This chronically checked engine light is usually ignored. However, seasoned car owners know how serious this sign is. More precisely, the sensors around the car trigger the warning signs, and it's worth taking a look. Usually this means that the transmission sensors are having problems. 3. Pulling Clutch This problem is a little different and is also not related to the automatic transmission. However, clutch pulling is another sign of problems with manual motor vehicles, which is why your car is not shifting properly. Car owners are too familiar with the added play in the clutch pedal. This makes it difficult for the clutch disc to loosen and the clutch to rotate. Since the clutch cannot transmit engine power, the power-train cannot receive the power. This makes a gear change impossible. Drivers usually notice a grinding noise when their cars have the clutch resistance problem. 4. Gear Slipping Shifting or slipping gear for no reason is a serious problem that all drivers need to be aware of. Usually, a car informs gear changes based on external inputs. With the manual transmission type, the owner decides on each individual gear shift. During the automatic transmission, the driver selects neutral, drive or reverse. However, if there is a problem with equipment slipping, we can be unprepared, resulting in dangerous situations and accidents. Not only is it dangerous, it will seriously damage your engine. The main causes of gear slippage are worn transfer belts and low levels of fluid. If you have this problem, contact the mechanic right away. 5. Shaking and Grinding Usually shifting in the transmission is smooth and takes place without notice. However, if your vehicle shakes while shifting gears, you know something is wrong. And overtime gets worse as you wear it until your gears are shot. If you drive a manual car, you will have to adjust or even replace your clutch to fix it. 6. Delay Engagement Have you ever started a car but it doesn't respond immediately? If your car has to wait a moment before driving or moving, you have a late engagement. This is one of the most common signs that your vehicle is not shifting properly. Even if you spin the engine or press the clutch pedal up and down, there is still a delay before the car moves forward. 7. Burning Smell We all agree that there are so many strange smells on road trips. It could be on the streets, in the air, or even from the car driving next door. However, if any of them appear to be from your car's engine, it is serious. And if that's a burning smell, you need to check your cars ASAP. 8. Neutral Sounds Any noise coming from the car is your car's warning sign, especially excessive noise. A pounding, loud noise when you put your vehicle in a neutral mood is serious. But don't panic, we can fix this problem very easily. Since it may be a lack of fluids or the wrong type of fluid, our solution is to replace it. However, if nothing changes when you top up with the new type of fluid, it's time to check the bearings. The faulty gears or bearings can also make noise when your car is in neutral mode. Because of this, car owners need to have replacements for these auto parts. When you have that sound, you need to have an engine check on your car. 9. Unresponsive Another reason your car isn't switching the way it should is because it is unresponsive. In contrast to the deceleration intervention, the transmission is defective and cannot properly shift into the correct gear. Because of this, your car cannot give an answer to the owners. Usually the problem is in the clutch. However, if you can't find anything wrong, we recommend calling your mechanic soonest for inspection. 10. Clinking and Whining noises Together with the trembling and grinding noises, clinking and wailing are the kind of noises no driver is happy about, we can see vehicles breaking down at different times. And they usually come with flat tires, a damaged starter, and a clanking noise. In other words, strange noise means your transmission is in trouble. The festive season is just around the corner, it's a time to ponder the ups and downs of the year and spend time creating memories with loved ones. While you are preparing to travel around with your family just to share good moments together, you also need to consider the state of your vehicle. Here are 10 things to look-out for to ensure safety when making plans to travel with your vehicle: 1. Tyre pressure and Profile Make sure your tyre pressure is correct for safety reasons and avoid the dreaded blowout. It is important to always use a tire gauge to check your tyres rather than relying on a "look see". Look for the tyre pressure warning light on the dashboard, if equipped. Low tyre pressure wastes fuel. Ensure that your car is properly checked on all four tyres to make sure they are not too worn or unevenly worn. 2. Lights If you are in a garage, turn your lights on while testing the lights. This is a quick and easy way to check that your lights are working. Test all of your lights, gauges, brake lights, and fog lights one at a time. 3. Windshield wipers and Demisters Windshield wipers tend to wear out quickly, especially when your car is outdoors and in the sun. Test both front and rear wipers and splash the washer fluid to make sure your wipers clean the glass clearly. Make sure your demisters are working as sudden fog can be dangerous. 4 Dashboard warning lights Dashboard warning lights can show you quickly if something is wrong. When you turn the ignition on, all of the warning lights should briefly illuminate. Immediately you notice a warning light that remains on, have it checked immediately. Any warning light often requires immediate inspection by a professional. 5. Steering If you feel like you are having a tug-of-war with the steering wheel to keep your car's lane in a straight line, or if the steering wheel vibrates too much, your steering likely needs to be aligned or checked by a professional. 6. Battery A dead battery means your car won't start and you may be stuck in an unsafe place or situation, worse late at night. Car batteries typically need to be replaced every few years, sometimes earlier. If your starter sounds sluggish, either corroded or a battery dying out - definitely get it checked. 7. Fluid Although vehicle fluids are usually checked during routine maintenance, you should periodically check them, including washer fluid, brake fluid, transmission fluid, coolant, and oil. 8. Spare wheel A simple but critical check is to make sure you have a spare wheel, jack, and wheel wrench and that they are all working properly. You probably haven't used your spare tyre in a while. So check the tyre pressure before you set off. 9. Brakes and Clutch Always check the condition of your brake pads by looking at how your vehicle reacts to braking when driving and whether it pulls to both sides when braking. If your brakes squeal and scratch, have them replaced immediately. It is completely unsafe to drive a vehicle that cannot be controlled while braking 10. Roadside assistance Lastly, make sure you are signed in with a good roadside assistance service to avoid getting stuck in bad weather or in the middle of nowhere. LAST WORDS A successful journey can be achieved if we adhere to the following instructions above.Wish you a Merry Christmas and a Prosperous New year ahead. It's quite frustrating when you turn the car ignition on, but it just clicks instead of turning off the engine. No matter how annoying the problem is, it's not uncommon. Fortunately, fixing this problem doesn't guarantee a lot of money either. You need to know the basics in order to solve auto-clicks problem when trying to start. 1. A discharged battery Parasitic drainage is a valid reason for having a dead battery in the morning. A dead battery means that the car will not start when the ignition key is turned on. If you leave the headlights, interior lighting or the radio on while you leave the car in the parking lot at night, the battery will be completely discharged in the morning. The only solution is to jump start the car for which you will need jumper cables and another car with a functioning battery. 2. Low battery voltage The problem of clicking sound when starting the car can occur when the battery is low in voltage. The battery voltage may be low if you forget to charge the battery in time, or if the battery loses its functionality for any reason. Cold weather could also be another cause. The battery requires a lot of power to start the engine in extremely cold conditions. In the event of a defective battery, you may need to replace it. Use a multi-meter or car battery analyzer to determine the actual condition. 3. Loose battery terminals Another problem related to the battery that could be responsible for auto clicks when starting. Loose clamps occur when they are not properly tightened after repair work. Another reason is deterioration in the contact between the terminals and connectors. Bad contacts mean that the battery cannot provide enough current for the engine to start. Check the terminals to see if any of the connection components are corroded. If you find something, repair the damage or change the terminals. 4. Bad starter and / or magnet If you can hear the click even though the battery is fully charged, look into the magnet or starter. This motor turns the flywheel that is needed to start the motor and the magnet is the switch that locks this motor in place. If the magnet is broken, it will prevent the car from making a click. If the problem is a stuck magnet and you can easily access it, try tapping it lightly with a hammer to resolve it. Ask a friend to turn on the ignition. Be careful not to touch the rotating parts of the starter. If the starter rotates during the tapping process, you may need to replace both the starter and magnet. Diagnosing the starter and its magnet requires specialist knowledge. If you are new to auto mechanics, take your car to an auto repair shop. 5. Ground wire problem There is a ground wire between the body and the battery or engine. If for any reason it's bad, it will cut power to the battery, resulting in the engine not responding to the ignition command. This is a common problem with auto-clicks, but it won't start. However, you can solve it without getting professional service. All you need is an external jumper cable. Connect the cable to the negative terminal of the battery and to one of the clean grounding points on the motor. If this starts the engine, check the cable between the engine and the body for damage. By cleaning the contact surfaces, the associated components sometimes function normally. If this ground wire has no visible corrosion, continue with the wire between the body and the battery. Clean the contact surfaces so hopefully it will work again. 6. Defective power cable There is a power cable between the starter and the ignition switch. If it is faulty or fails for any reason, the starter may not be able to send enough power to start the engine. This problem is not as common as the others mentioned here. However, if all other parts are functional, this cable should be investigated. Get the car's wiring diagram and find out if everything works normally. LAST WORDS Battery problems are the main cause of auto-clicks on startup. The above reasons are the most common and you can solve them by following the suggestions. If you cannot pinpoint the cause, seek professional help to prevent further complications. From spartan to swanky to outdoors, the 2021 Toyota RAV4 has something for almost everyone. The basic LE covers the economic end of the spectrum, while the well-equipped Limited and TRD off-road models offer impressive amounts of equipment for two very different types of buyers. Regardless of which equipment you choose, the RAV4 is equipped with a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine and an eight-speed automatic. Front-wheel drive is standard, all-wheel drive is optional on the LE, XLE, XLE Premium and Limited models and standard on the Adventure and TRD off-road models. The angular look of the RAV4 is inspired by the 4Runner SUV and Tacoma pickup, but its car-based construction offers a quieter ride than any of these trucks. The interiors are spacious and the selected materials are durable. Buyers looking for modern comfort features such as electrically adjustable seats, push-button start, and blind spot monitoring should avoid the entry-level model. What's Recent for 2021? A plug-in hybrid RAV4 Prime complements the range, and the hybrid model receives new XLE Premium equipment. We reviewed the two hybrid models separately. It offers a variety of standard equipment that the LE and XLE do not offer, such as 19-inch wheels, a power tailgate, two-zone automatic climate control, synthetic leather upholstery, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and gear knob. Toyota offers a number of driver assistance features across the entire product range. As a result, there aren't many reasons to go for more expensive gear, unless you really want ventilated seats. Interior, comfort and cargo Inside, the RAV4 attaches great importance to ergonomics and storage space. A useful shelf spans the dashboard and complements the large center console. The basic trim with the designation LE is quite spartan and has fabric seats, a plastic steering wheel and a manual climate zone with one zone. With the next-tier XLE, Toyota has some perks, but the XLE Premium has a lot more going for it, including synthetic leather upholstery, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and gear knob, and a stitched and padded dashboard and center console armrest. The rear seats of the RAV4 are easy to stow and fold almost flat, opening the cabin for cargo. Infotainment and connectivity The lower panels have a 7.0-inch touchscreen, but an 8.0-inch touchscreen is available from XLE. The infotainment system includes a mobile 4G LTE hotspot as well as Apple CarPlay and Android Auto functions. A JBL Premium audio system, navigation and a wireless charging pad for a smartphone are optional. If you opt for an equipment variant without GPS. All other models are equipped with Scout GPS Link, which enables compatible smartphones to display a map and turn-by-turn directions on the Dash-top screen. Engine, transmission and power The 2021 RAV4 used a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine with 203 hp and an eight-speed automatic transmission. The Adventure model is equipped with four-wheel drive, which, if necessary, can disconnect the rear axle in order to reduce fuel consumption. On our test track, the RAV4 turned out to be faster than its predecessor. The dutiful four-cylinder can get noisy, especially when attempting to overtake freeway. Fuel consumption and real MPG The RAV4 has received competitive fuel economy estimates from the EPA. Front-wheel drive RAV4s can achieve up to 35 mpg on the highway. The all-wheel drive Adventure delivers up to 200-mile route with a fuel economy of 32 MPG, 1 MPG less than the EPA's estimated rating for this equipment. That ranks on par with the Honda CR-V and is a huge improvement over the 2018 Adventure model (which only managed 25 mpg), but it's beaten by the Volkswagen Tiguan, which delivered 33 mpg. Many people, especially the new car owners, may not consider brake fluid leakage a cause for concern, but it does have a significant impact on overall braking performance. Brake fluid leakage will damage the braking system, leading to brake failure and accidents. This matter requires immediate attention to ensure your safety and well being on the road. Most of the reasons for brake fluid leaks: The first step in fixing the brake fluid leak is to identify the causes that are causing brake fluid to leak in the center of the vehicle. 1. Damage in the braking system A fault in the brake system, including brake lines or fittings, can cause brake fluid to leak. Whether a hole in the brake lines or damage to the brake fittings - both have a negative effect on the braking system. Even it can get to a point where the brakes stop working. It can lead to a life threatening situation if not resolved immediately. 2. Master cylinder defective When a brake fluid leak occurs under the car, the main culprit is usually the defective brake master cylinder. However, problems with slave cylinders can also be responsible for the puddle of fluid leaking under the car. 3. Loose vent valves Bleed screws are part of the brake calipers. Its main function is to remove excess fluid while the other components of the braking system are serviced. Sometimes the mechanic does not tighten the valves sufficiently after flushing the brake fluid, and the loose valves can cause the fluid to leak. 4. Bad wheel cylinder If a car with drum brakes has brake fluid on the wall of a wheel, a bad wheel cylinder is responsible for this. This is also a common reason for fluid leakage. LAST WORDS All of these symptoms are serious. So don't ignore them. Whatever the symptom, check the car and fix it before driving. While it is possible to diagnose a brake fluid leak from these symptoms, a mechanic is the best person to identify and correct these problems. A turbocharger, also known as a turbo, is an additional system used by automakers to boost engine power that provides the same level of power on smaller cars as it does on larger cars. A bad turbo affects the performance of the car, requiring timely repairs. Let's find out what bad turbo symptoms are: In practice, a turbocharger is effectively two small air fans that sit on the same metal shaft so that they both spin together. One of these fans, known as a turbine, sits in the exhaust gas flow of the cylinders. As the cylinders blow hot gas past the fan blades, they rotate and the shaft to which they are connected also rotates. Now the second fan, known as the compressor, also rotates on the same shaft as the turbine. It is mounted in the car's air intake, so when it turns it draws air into the car and pushes it into the cylinders. So this is how the turbo works in theory and in practice. Now that you understand the principles of operation, let's move on to the bad turbo symptoms. 1. Slow acceleration As the main function of the turbo, it helps the smaller cars have more power than the larger ones, which means it is more powerful. One of the first noticeable symptoms is a lack of strength and slow acceleration. If you find that it is not accelerating as fast as it used to, the first thing to do is check the turbo. Similarly, a turbo-charged car that has difficulty maintaining high speeds or is unable to reach speeds at which it might once be can experience a turbo failure. Hence, one of the bad turbo symptoms to watch out for is loss of power. 2. Whining engine The turbo actually makes the engine quieter because it muffles the noise of the air intake. Then, if you hear a noise from the engine that is louder than usual, which is a bit like a police siren, the chances are you've been causing turbo symptoms to be 100%. If you ignore the blown turbo sound, the noise will get louder and louder and your vehicle condition will deteriorate. If you notice your engine whining, consider getting a professional mechanic to take a look at your car. 3. Burning engine oil One of the bad turbo symptoms is that the car is burning excessive oil than usual. You can look into the turbine with an endoscope. If there is oil inside it is a sign of turbo failure symptoms. You should fix the problem ASAP as the turbo will go untreated and your turbo will eventually fail. 4. Excessive exhaust smoke If you see your car's blue or gray smoke while driving, the percentage that your car has a bad turbo is very high. So why gray smoke? A crack in the turbo case or damaged inner seals can lead to an oil leak in the exhaust system, which results in gray or blue air. Otherwise, you can feel the discolored fumes when the engine speed increases shortly after idling. Don't ignore this symptom and take your car to the mechanic right after that to fix it as soon as possible. 5. Check the engine light On most modern cars, computer diagnostics will detect a faulty turbo, which will lead to "checking your engine". It's a sign that the car is trying to tell you that something bad has happened to your turbo. If so, you may need a professional who can help you pinpoint the exact vehicle problem. Hence, taking your car to the mechanic is a good solution. 6. The boost pressure gauge The boost gauge is usually seen on some car models. So if your car is equipped with the boost gauge, there is an excellent way to find out how good our turbo is. That way, you can diagnose your car problem even if you can't clearly see the bad turbo symptoms. You may notice a drop in boost pressure. This is a sign that your turbocharger is performing poorly. A drop can be due to various turbo failures. You should therefore have your turbocharger checked by a specialist as soon as possible. Conclusion There are many reasons for a blown turbo and there are also many bad turbo symptoms such as exhaust smoke, gray smoke, engine noise, boost gauge, burnt oil. Make sure you take your car to the garage for maintenance frequently. In addition, every time you perform maintenance, your oil will be changed to prevent carbon build-up. In the event that the turbo is too old, it's a good idea to replace a new one. Regardless of whether you bought a model fresh from the factory or a used car, it needs to be checked and serviced after a certain distance. Tuning fixes the small problems before they become bigger. This is why you need to be aware of the signs that your car needs tuning. Adjustment includes minor corrections such as repairing the spark plug, replacing cables and filters, adjusting the ignition timing and much more. The following sections tells you when to repair your car. You may be wondering how to tell if your car needs a set up. Follow These 4 Signs You Need To Improve Your Car 1. Slow start and acceleration Slow start and acceleration of cars are signs that your car needs improvement. If the vehicle is not receiving enough fuel or oxygen, or if there are sparks in its combustion chamber, you will find it difficult to start the car. It is also possible that the vehicle will not start at all. Don't ignore the trouble of starting the car as it can be a sign of an internal problem. In this case, a weak battery or a defective fuel system may be responsible. Ignition problems can be the main cause that you can fix with a simple adjustment. Ask a mechanic to diagnose the real cause. A decrease in acceleration speed is another symptom that you should not overlook and see a mechanic immediately. 2. Frequent stalling While stalling is a common occurrence when learning to drive vehicles in manual gear, it is not a good sign in other circumstances, especially if you are a skilled driver with an automatic car. Occasional or frequent car stalling is an indicator of a serious problem. Any of these following parts may be responsible for stalling the vehicle, e.g. A dead battery, a defective spark plug, a faulty ignition, the improper use of a clutch, a damaged fuel pump and much more. Optimizing can fix most of these minor problems and prevent major problems from occurring. 3. Unusual noises and vibrations While driving on rough roads, it is normal to feel the vibrations in the steering wheel and the vehicle frame. This is because the wheels are touching the rough surface. However, be aware of the vibrations while driving on a smooth track. It indicates an internal problem and needs to be fixed quickly. Inefficient car engines can cause your vehicle to knock when accelerating or on a hilly road. In addition, faulty spark plugs can be the cause of unexpected noises when accelerating or idling. Keep these points in mind as they indicate when a repair is required. 4. Bad mileage Not getting the expected mileage is one of the signs that your car needs improvement. The mileage is so important that a car purchase can be completed or canceled. Every driver has a good idea of how many miles per gallon the vehicle can travel. Without a reason, there is no way the mileage could suddenly drop one day. If you drive fewer miles, the car won't be able to burn the fuel the way it should. This can be caused by dirty or problematic spark plugs or problems with fuel injection. In either case, tuning the vehicle will greatly improve fuel efficiency and vehicle performance. CONCLUSION Vehicles that last longer, are those ones that are periodically serviced. It is advisable to regularly check your car,if its a major problem contact your trusted mechanic. There are many things that needs to happen to start a car, but the first is turning the key, or in some cases pushing a button on newer cars. In any case, the ignition starts a series of events that cause the car's engine to pump. If you experience no start or a hard start, this may be due to faulty ignition. Look out for these common signs of ignition problems. 1. Key does not turn If the key does not turn, make sure the ignition lock is not locked by turning the steering wheel back and forth until it locks into place. If the key still cannot be turned, the ignition may wear excessively, preventing the key from being properly aligned with the key slot. This may require the entire ignition to be replaced. 2. Stalling engine A complex symptom that can be caused by various mechanical problems is the engine stalling. However, if it is ignition related, it mostly happens when your car is driving down the highway and not idling. 3. Flickering dashboard lights One of the simpler signs of an ignition problem is flickering dashboard lights. While this is not very common, it is a relevant sign of a problem. This usually happens while driving if the problem is related to the ignition. 4. No sound from the starter If you turn the key and nothing happens, there is a good chance that the ignition switch will not be able to create the electrical path required to power the battery to the starter. This can also be caused by an empty battery. You can test this by checking if other accessories work in the car, e.g. the radio or the electric seats when the key is turned on. If the battery is not empty, it is reasonable to believe that there is an ignition problem. 5. Car doesn't start Perhaps the most common sign of ignition problems is a car that doesn't start. You can get your car to start the engine, but it is usually quite slow if the ignition has problems. This is usually due to circuit corrosion that is directly related to the ignition system and prevents the correct flow of current. Batteries are a must in every car, and battery clips act as a bridge between the battery and charger. Over time, the battery poles become brittle and corrode. It becomes a problem for car owners and they start looking for a replacement for the battery terminals with little effort. This section describes in a few short steps how to change a battery terminal. Let's proceed: 1. Open the hood Open the hood and find out the battery terminals that you need to replace. These connectors are located on the top of the battery and contain a (+) or (-) sign. You must first remove the (-) terminal to avoid electrical shock or short circuit. 2. Loosen the clamp nuts. There is a nut on the side of each connector. Loosen the nut by turning it with an adjustable wrench. 3. Move the clamps. Move the terminal away from the battery node. Take it with a rag or towel. Don't let it come in contact with the knot. Remove the positive pole with the same steps. 4. Remove the wire plate. Now carefully remove the wire plate from the screws and lay it aside. Since the clamps are already separated at this point, users can remove the plates with their hands. 5. Replace clamps and wire plates. Restore the old battery terminals with the new ones. Change the wire plates in the same way after removal. 6. Secure various parts. Place the washer and the screw head indicated with the new battery pole one after the other on the vertically placed screw. Turn the screw head to secure the wire plates. If you have only one nut with the battery post, tighten the screw. 7. Attach the clamp nuts. Use a rag to put the positive and negative connections back on the nodes (+) and (-) one after the other. Tighten the negative terminal nut with the wrench. Perform the same action on a positive pole to complete the replacement of the battery terminals. CAUTION Make sure that you switch off the vehicle and remove the key from the ignition before starting the process for safety reasons. After completing the steps, check whether the terminal can be easily removed or not. Only a tight nut guarantees a secure connection. FINAL WORDS We tried to explain the procedure for replacing battery terminals. Remember that you must follow all steps and heed the warnings to ensure complete security. Its wild design, coupe-like body and bright choice of exterior colors will give the 2020 C-HR many adorable looks. The C-HR is only a front-wheel drive, where the all-wheel drive does not appear anywhere on the option sheet. The under-powered drive train is at least economical in fuel consumption. Still, other small SUVs are likely to be better purchases, especially those with larger holds and more passenger space. The C-HR is good value for money - Toyota has a long list of standard features. What's recent for 2020? Toyota's smallest SUV gets a slight refresh of the style in 2020 in the form of an updated front bumper, grille, headlights and new wheel designs. The basic LE paneling is now equipped with Android auto function, LED headlights and SiriusXM satellite radio as standard. Mid-range XLE models are now equipped with front rear pockets and sun visor extensions. A driver's seat adjustable in eight directions and an adaptive headlight system are now part of the standard equipment of the limited model. The C-HR is available in two new exterior colors: Supersonic Red and Hot Lava; A contrasting silver-colored roof is now optionally available. The XLE has a number of features worth the higher price, including 18-inch wheels, a proximity key with passive access, blind spot monitoring, heated wing mirrors, and a leather steering wheel. Toyota offers few options other than accessories. Engine, Transmission and Power The four-cylinder of the C-HR could use a turbocharger or a compressor. The C-HR is able to travel from zero to 60 miles an hour in 11.0 seconds, and it is significantly slower than most of its competitors. If you're driving around town normally, the lack of performance is well camouflaged thanks to a responsive throttle that zealously gets you off the line. However, when you step your right foot deeply on the accelerator pedal, the engine turns and stays there. It continues to boom as you wait for the continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT) to adjust its gear ratios in a vain attempt to allow rapid forward movement. The C-HR delivers a ride over bumps that is comfortable but not outstanding in this segment. The suspension rebounds quickly after major road defects, but hits a repaired or broken road at high speed and you are treated with a cacophony of noises. Hard bumps send reverberation into the cabin. The steering of the C-HR feels precise and the front wheels react directly to commands. The handling is lively, the body roll well controlled and the C-HR feels playful behind the steering wheel. Interior, Comfort and Cargo A typical Toyota quality prevails in the cabin of the C-HR. With the exception of a pair of cheap plastic panels on either side of the center console, the materials throughout the interior appears to be well chosen and durable. A faux leather dashboard with simulated seams looks lifted, while diamond-coated plastic on the doors and similarly patterned headlining accents make the mix a little bit fun. Overall, the cabin looks very youthful. However, when it comes to the availability of functions, the C-HR is anything but current. The two-zone automatic climate control is the only basic luxury here, so that those who want subtleties such as seat adjustments or a sunroof are tired of it. The loading capacity of the C-HR is average. Infotainment and Connectivity An 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system sits high on the molded dashboard of the C-HR, and even the base model comes standard with Apple Car Play, Android Auto, SiriusXM satellite radio, and Bluetooth phone and music connections. It is a basic system and avoids visual beauty for straightforward menus that are easy to use - even those with minimal technological experience should feel comfortable with it. 1. Check your tyres The condition of your tyres can make all the difference, especially during the rainy season! Tyres have been specially developed to give your vehicle a secure grip on the respective road. whether this surface is asphalt, mud or gravel. Treads or the “grooves” on the tyres are the mechanism behind this function. When driving through water or wet surfaces, the treads collect and distribute moisture. This helps to keep the tyre dry and to hold onto the surface it is on. Tyres that are worn and smooth have no treads that offer less grip on the surface. This can result in skidding and give you less control over your vehicle when driving through rain and wet roads. 2. Inspect windshield wipers Windshield wipers clean your windshield of dust, dirt, rain, water or other materials. However, the worn rubber on old wipers is not as effective as on new ones because the surface coverage is significantly less. This means that less material is removed per wipe. In rainy weather, worn windshield wipers cannot clear your windshield of rainwater as quickly as it should, especially in heavy rain when your windshield wipers are at top speed. For this reason, it is important to change the windscreen wipers before and during the rainy season and to have them serviced. Fortunately, replacing wipers is relatively inexpensive and can even be done at home to save additional costs. 3. Use De-Fogger De-Fogger melts the precipitate that can cause your windows and screens to fog up. Many vehicles have this feature and it is very useful in heavy rain showers when the screens can fog up quickly. Foggy screens are not only a nuisance, they can quickly reduce your visibility and lead to incorrect averaging of the distances between you and objects / vehicles. For best results, turn on your De-Fogger in time if you want to drive through heavy rain. Switch your De-Fogger on immediately if there is no occasional rain. This reduces the likelihood of your screens becoming foggy, and also reduces potential fog more quickly. NOTE: For older vehicles that may not have a nebulizer, keep a dry, clean piece of cloth nearby to wipe off any rain on the inside of your screens. 4. Use your headlights Heavy rain can also significantly reduce visibility on the streets during the day. Indeed, heavy rains can create the illusion of a night time as the rain clouds obscure the sunlight. This makes driving through rain a dangerous task because there is less light for your way. An important way to improve your visibility and make yourself more visible to other drivers is to put the headlights on the highest level. This not only illuminates your path, but also shows drivers your presence and enables them to measure the distance between your and your vehicle. This alleviates the number of accidents. 5. Avoid speeding Perhaps the simplest and most important point is to avoid speeding! Even for the most experienced drivers with a vehicle that is 100% functional, driving at high speeds due to heavy rainfall is still at risk of accidents. whether these accidents are caused by loss of control of the vehicle, vehicle failure, poor visibility or another vehicle. Always take external factors into account and take the safe route by driving at the speed limit. LAST WORDS Driving in the rain can be both scary and dangerous, and it's important to take wet weather seriously when you're out and about. There are many things you can do to make driving in the rain safer, including preparation by making sure your car is ready and you can always see properly. Above all, you have to drive according to the conditions and adjust some of your habits to avoid slipping, skidding or collision Source: http://www.eliancars.com/2020/07/5-safety-tips-for-driving-in-rainy.html cc : Lalasticlala, Marpol |
It is extremely important to keep up with your vehicle's maintenance services so that your car runs properly. But often these maintenance services seem to take a back seat. However, the truth is that a good car owner knows that regular car maintenance services are the best thing you can do for your vehicle. On average, maintenance services takes less time and cost a lot less than a large auto repair service. Check out the following seven good reasons: 1. It Saves money As mentioned above, vehicle maintenance services usually cost a lot less than an expensive car repair. For example, a regular oil change will keep your engine running. However, if you never have your oil changed and your engine burns out, look at a major auto repair that costs a lot of money and additional time in business. That could have been avoided! 2. It Protects your investment Your car is one of your biggest investments. If you have your vehicle serviced, all parts work together properly. If parts stop working together, you can get stuck in a roadside car accident or worse. 3. The Vehicle gets better mileage If you keep all parts of your car in the top shop, you can also achieve optimal performance. This will help you get better mileage and save money on the pump. 4. It Keeps your guarantee Particularly important for new cars, if you fail to follow the factory scheduled maintenance of your vehicle, your warranty may be void. You would want to keep this guarantee if a part fails when it shouldn't. 5. It Holds the value. If you can show that your vehicle has been well maintained, your car will retain its value when it needs to be sold. 6. It Protects the environment If parts of your car are not working properly, this can result in your vehicle emitting more harmful emissions into the air. Protect the environment by having your car checked regularly. 7. It Increases vehicle safety Keeping up with your car maintenance services will make your car safer for you and your family. With the time you spend on the road, it is important to make sure you drive a safe and reliable vehicle. LAST WORDS If vehicles are properly maintained there is every tendency of a long lasting life, so do ensure you check you vehicles at the appropriate time. If you consider a double - row crossover SUV that drives well and bears a Honda emblem, you will be more than satisfied with the 2020 Passport. While it's the opposite of stylish indoor or outdoor, it's equipped with standard driver assistants like adaptive cruise control and automated emergency braking. The passport also has an exceptionally comfortable and spacious interior with plenty of space to store cargo. In addition to the optional all-wheel drive, each model is powered by a fast and sophisticated V-6 drive train. Unfortunately, it is not particularly economical and driving is uncomfortable on rough roads. Nevertheless, the Honda Passport 2020 beat some popular mid-sized competitors in our tests because it offers the best combination of spaciousness, sportiness and value. INTERIOR, COMFORT AND CARGO Anyone who has experienced the inside of the Honda Ridge-line is immediately familiar with the passport cabin. Despite an unobtrusive design, the materials are attractive enough and the controls are well organized - although we want more buttons for controls instead of touchscreens. The front seats are wide and comfortable, with a practical armrest that can be adjusted for optimal comfort. The back seat is also spacious and allows the pass to carry up to five people. There is 41 cubic feet of storage space behind the back seat, which accommodated 15 of our hand luggage cases. Folding the back row unlocks 78 cubes and a total of 33 bags are transported. The interior storage space is generally great thanks to useful trash cans throughout the cabin and a huge trash can in the center console. ENGINE, TRANSMISSION AND POWER Under the bonnet is the same 280 hp, 3.5-liter V6 and nine-speed automatic transmission as the Honda Pilot. If you want to use the all-weather capability of the all-wheel drive, you can add it for additional money. Otherwise, the Passport has a standard front-wheel drive. The ground clearance is a useful 7.5 inches (8.1 inches for all-wheel drive models) and the Passport can pull up to 5000 pounds. However, the two-row Honda has a hard ride when venturing off-road, and its high ride height contributes to top-heavy behavior. Driving is comfortable on most roads and the steering is pleasantly direct, giving Passport a nimble, agile feel behind the wheel. INFOTAINMENT AND CONNECTIVITY The lowest Passport has a simple 5.0-inch display for its infotainment system. Every other model has an 8.0-inch touchscreen with Apple Car-Play and Android auto-integration. However, if you want a 115-volt socket, integrated navigation, an improved audio system, a WiFi hotspot and charging mobile phones, you have to choose the top models Touring and Elite If you are looking for the best, never hesitate to go for HONDA PASSPORT........ Being a new parent is an exciting time, which is usually full of joy and happiness, but with this positive attitude it can be a nervous experience that can make you feel overwhelmed and under prepared. There are many things you need to learn and know. One of the many things you need to prepare is your car, think about these car accessories. 1. Car Seat Preserver The first thing to think about when considering accessories for new parents in your car is usually the car seat. However, you may find that car seat protection is a good addition for new parents. It provides a fabric between your car seats and the child seat that can cause dents or impressions. And you understand that babies and children can be pretty messy about food and liquids. These covers and guards also prevent stains from spilling and accidents that can damage the seats. These make cleaning your car a breeze by simply throwing it in the laundry. You can always use a towel or blanket, but these can often shift and may not be covered in the car seat manuals. It is a good idea to check the manuals to see if they have restrictions on the types of protection that can be used with them. 2. Back seat organizers You want to be as organized as possible to make your life easier. A crying child can be stressful and can make you nervous when looking for a solution. You want to provide your organizer in the back seat with the most important information for each scenario. Things like diapers, groceries and bottles, baby wipes, and even a few toys and teething rings should be kept handy. Having organizers in the back seat to keep all of your items easily accessible and tidy saves you a lot of time and stress by not having to find and locate things in the heat of a baby emergency. Keep your car trips organized and stress-free and know that everything you need is within reach. 3. Window shade It is important that your children stay cool and calm. When it comes to the heat emitted by sunlight through the windows, this has a literal meaning. Your babies are particularly sensitive to their surroundings. It is much easier for you to take the risk of sunburn than adults. Since they can only determine after they have been burned, you can put your children at risk. They want to make sure that their temperatures are regulated and kept at a moderate level. Long exposure to sunlight can also damage your baby's and children's eyes, as they are more sensitive to light in younger years. It is important to limit this exposure. If you equip your vehicles with shutters, the comfort of your children is guaranteed on long and short journeys. 4. Baby car seat mirror Safety comes first as a parent. And there is no more important place to take this into account than when you are on the go. In many scenarios, you may not always have two parents or legal guardians in the vehicle so that one person can meet your child's needs while the other is driving. Sometimes you have to take this responsibility yourself. If your child starts to get picky, you will be tempted to swing his head around and find out what's going on. This distracted driving can adversely affect the safety of you and your child. A baby car seat mirror comes in handy here as you can look out onto the street and see at a glance what your child is crying about. With this accessory, you can stay focused and only look for situations with your eyes as you would normally do when driving and checking your mirrors. 5. Small garbage can When traveling and especially when you have babies and children nearby, it's easy to have your priorities elsewhere and make your car messy. Even many people without children have trouble keeping their cars clean. Now that you are a new parent and share your vehicle with children, you want to make sure that your area is always clean, not only for your safety but also for their health and well-being. If you have a small compact garbage or litter bin, you can ensure a clean level of cleanliness while your priorities may be elsewhere. Please feel free the make use of the comment section Source: http://www.eliancars.com/2020/06/5-car-accessories-that-will-be-vital-to.html cc : Lalasticlala, Marpol |
The compression of car engines refers to when air and gas are mixed together in the cylinders of an engine. This process is necessary for the car to move and function. If there are problems with the compression process, you can expect all kinds of vehicle problems. It is easy to spot if you have a low compression problem as misfire can occur when trying to start the engine. Either that or the engine is performing poorly when driving the vehicle down the road. You just need to understand the main possible causes of low compression in a car engine and then repair or replace any damaged parts. The five most common causes of low compression in car engines are listed below. 1. Holes in the piston You apparently know that the cylinders of an engine have pistons. These pistons typically consist of an aluminum alloy and are said to be able to cope with the combustion force. However, if the engine overheats, hot spots get on the piston. After a while, these spots burn holes through the piston. As soon as this happens, gases emerge through these holes and cause little compression. 2. Leaky valves The head of each cylinder contains exhaust valves and intake valves. Air and fuel enter the intake valve for the combustion process. The resulting gases emerge from the outlet valve. If these valves become overheated, they may leak gas from them prematurely. Once this happens, you have low compression. Typically, the valve seals can wear out over time, allowing the gases to escape, reducing cylinder compression. 3. Worn timing belt There is a toothed belt or chain in each engine that connects the camshaft and the crankshaft. If the toothed belt is broken or damaged, the camshaft could no longer turns. This means that the exhaust valve or the intake valve cannot be opened or closed properly. This destroys the combustion in the cylinders and no gases can be released. So you have low compression. 4. Defective head gasket There is a gasket between the area at the top of the engine to which the cylinder head is connected. If for any reason the head gasket becomes faulty and begins to break, it will leave a small hole between the cylinder and its head. This is known as a blown head gasket and causes the gases in the cylinder to exit the hole in the gasket. Then you have low compression and poor performance. Failure of the head gasket between two cylinders can result in a compression leak in both cylinders. 5. Bad piston rings Overheating can cause the piston rings to brake or become damaged. This causes carbon gases to escape through the rings because they can no longer seal them inside the cylinder. As you probably know by now, this type of leak has little compression. Hmmmmmm.................I felt pains in my heart... To be sincere its rare for you to find a woman that will share things with you equally without insulting you, infact that was in the past. Personally,i don't advise men to share responsibility with women because eventually it leads to fight most cases divorce and its really bad when a female earns more, most cases insult comes in. Marriage is funny, the good person you see this moment might be the devil afterwards.Keep on with your good life.God will fulfill your heart desire.
|
Almost every film has some cars to show, but there are very few films that particularly captivate audiences because of the cars. Here are some of the films that have drawn attention due to the super fabulous cars they have introduced. Let's have the most memorable cars from movies in all the years. Some films have a specific brand with which they sign a contract. In this case, all cars in the scene come from the same manufacturer, with all other cars except the heroes remaining as clone cars. 1. Fast & Furious - Supra Who can forget this evergreen film and its legacy for car stunts? They later enter the bright orange Paul Walker sports car. The sale price of this creation was $ 185,000 at the auction. They destroyed the Mitsubishi Eclipse in the first film. It was the fans' enthusiasm for the electric lime green that made this decision. Supra was built by Eddie Paul at the Shark Shop in El Segundo, California. As one of the most memorable cars from the film, the car was modified and received a 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder with two turbochargers, a five-speed manual transmission, high-performance suspension, a roll cage, competition seats and a general environment that still creates nostalgia for the fans. 2. Gran Torino The car appeared in Gran Torino as Gran Torino. It was one of the 92,033 models that Ford produced in 1972. The model was built in Lorain, Ohio, and the sports version received special attention due to its visual improvements. The car was decorated with "Magnum 500" wheels, laser strips on the sides and some badges to give it the special look. Although no one really drives the character of the Eastwood in the film, the last scene is memorable enough to consider this car. The car got its power from the 302 Windsor 2 Barrel V8 with 351 W, 351 Cleveland, 400 and 429 cubic inch upgrades available. However, since fuel consumption was not that good, the car didn't go much further when it was sold. 3. Back to the future - DMC-12 Worth a look, this fantastic automobile has gained its popularity from the film "Back to the Future". The idea of John Z. DeLorean, developed and designed by Lotus, was to load this car with outsides that always attracted attention. It was a result of the Belfast, Ireland manufacturing facility. Developed in 1981, the DMC-12 was equipped with a Volvo V6 that could only produce 130 hp. So at the sales level, it didn't do much, except showcasing the outside. However, the car was enough for a film based on time travel. It is said that since the car didn't do so much, it got DeLorean in trouble, which eventually put him behind bars. 4. Proof of death - Nova They let us see the 1970 Chevy Nova Muscle Car in Quentin Tarantino's film. In terms of specification, it was a 350 V8 that got 650 Edelbrock carburetors and was equipped with a modified transmission and rear. B&M shifters and a full roll cage were also part of the modification, and some special tags were also used for the car to introduce them to the film. There were seven muscle cars, of which only two were left. One was given to Buddy J. Hooker, who was the professional driver, and another was sold to the public after modification. The look of the car in the film has been intentionally aged and rusted to give it a rough look. Check out the car reviews and see how Toyota Prius, the new start of 2020, has developed. 5. Batman begins - the Tumbler The creation looks like a mixture of a Lamborghini and a tank. It looks super strong, flexible and exceptional for a car. It was designed by Wayne Enterprises' Department of Applied Sciences for the film Batman Begins. The tumbler loads with its weapons and the ability to jump without being damaged. In order to achieve the general appearance, a total of six vehicles were built. Driving stress is real. Feeling fearful behind the wheel is so common that a large number of drivers around the world experience it. Some people worry every time they drive. Others can be triggered by certain incidents. There could be some personal issues, an upcoming deadline, and the fear of being late due to a traffic jam. Whatever it is, you have to learn to control your emotions, at least when you are behind the wheels. Driving requires a certain amount of calm to protect yourself and other people on the road. Your emotions should not be so high that they cause illogical reactions. Here are some tips to relax while driving: 1. Plan your daily routes. Driving at peak times causes many people to lose their coolness because nobody likes to get stuck in traffic, especially when you are caught up in lagos traffic. This is not surprising since you may have seen many drivers honking their car horns or yelling while waiting for the green light to come on. To avoid the insanity of rush hours, you need to plan your routes to avoid congested areas. It can also be helpful to leave 15 minutes to half an hour earlier or take another, less crowded street. If possible, try running your daily commute at slightly different times of the day. 2. Never drive if you are too emotional. Negative emotions such as anger and sadness distract us, which is a serious problem when you are on the go. You may be too busy if you have to concentrate on driving. Don't go out when you're exhausted. You may fall asleep behind the wheels or be too tired to respond quickly in an emergency. 3. Turn on some music. Music has a wonderfully calming effect on our nerves. Setting your favorite music can help relieve stress and calm your mind. Music is also a mood enhancer. So if you are sad or disturbed for any reason, it works like therapy. You can also listen to an audio-book or podcast session instead of listening to songs if that works for you. 4. Take some deep breaths. Inhale deeply through your nose and exhale through your mouth. This technique stretches your lungs by sending a large amount of air to the diaphragm. Park the car in a safe place and perform this breathing technique at least 10 times. It may be surprising to relax your body and calm your mind. An age-old method, but it works when you are too stressed or overwhelmed. Deep breathing in and out is called diaphragmatic breathing, which helps bring the heartbeat back to normal rhythm. LAST WORDS Driving stress can strain your body and mind. Managing it regularly means living with constant fear that can leave you physically uncomfortable and in a state of unrest. So you should follow these de-stressing methods to get your concentration back on the road. Your car is a network of wires, fuses, relays and other important electrical parts. If any of these components have operational problems, this can result in a poorly moving or non-moving vehicle. The following are 7 of the most common electrical problems in modern automobiles. If you notice any of these problems, contact your local mechanic immediately. 1. Empty battery A flat battery is the most common and obvious electrical problem. If you turn the key, the car's engine will not turn. You may still be able to use your lights and other accessories. This can usually be fixed with a jump start. 2. Bad alternator A damaged or otherwise faulty alternator can also prevent the battery from charging. If your car loses its electrical function while driving, such as weak headlights, you can bet on problems with the alternator. 3. Weak starter or magnet If the starter or magnet goes off, your car's engine will not turn over. You will most likely hear a loud click or a series of clicks if the starter is broken. 4. Bad battery cables A corroded loose battery cable could be the root of a situation without starting. Check the connections if your car doesn't start. 5. Blown electrical fuses A blown fuse is a quick and easy solution if that is the reason for your problems. 6. Spark plugs failed Loose or dirty plugs affect the operation of your car. Common symptoms of spark plug problems are jerky or rough idling. LAST WORDS Electrical problems could be very frustrating in cars, but if you carefully tackle any signal. Then you are sure that you have saved yourself from stress and unexpected cost. If you keep your battery healthy, your tyres are inflated, and you clean your car thoroughly, this can make all the difference if the quarantine measures are finally removed. Here are our tips on how to maintain your car while it's locked. 1. Avoid an empty battery The best way to ensure that your car goes through long-term storage or significantly reduced usage is to keep the battery healthy. Using a battery conditioner or trickle charger is the most effective way to do this. This prevents immobilizers and other energy-saving components from completely discharging the battery. Keep in mind that using these devices can be impractical when your car is parked on the street, as you may need to pull cables across the sidewalk, which can cause pedestrians to trip over. You should also keep in mind that repeated short trips will drain your battery faster than usual. Most importantly, avoid turning the engine on and then turning it off shortly after. 2. Take care of your tyres You will need to inflate your tyres to the recommended maximum pressure on the sidewall as they will lose pressure over time, even if they are not used in motion. Leaving the device for a long time can lead to flat spots and your tyres will lose their round shape, especially with older tyres. If you think that you can leave your car idling for a few months, rolling it occasionally can ensure that the tyres do not wear unevenly. 3. Clean the car thoroughly Scrubbing your car before parking it or using it less often not only helps it look great, it can also prevent damage to the road. The growth of your car can prevent tree sap, bird droppings and harsh weather from leaving marks on your paintwork. However, clean the car thoroughly before applying a coat of paint. Cleaning the interior of the vehicle is more important today than ever. If you are concerned about the risk of coronavirus spread, you should disinfect your interior periodically. Cleaning the interior of your car is also the only way to make sure that crumbs, other foods, and mud don't fall into the upholstery or dry out. 4. Make sure you have replacement bulbs It is a good idea to always keep spare bulbs. However, as more and more stores faces shortages and closure, you may find it difficult to find the right light bulbs for your car in the short term. Make sure your vehicle is ready for these important journeys by picking up spare parts while you have the chance. 5. Refill important liquids You should check the fluid level to maintain your engine well and keep your car ready to go if needed. Fill in your: Oil, but only after used oil and its caustic elements have been drained off safely. Take your car on a last important trip so that the fresh oil can circulate around the engine Fuel to prevent moisture from building up in the tank and rust. Adding a fuel stabilizer also extends the lifespan Coolant to ensure that you are ready to go as soon as the essential travel restrictions are lifted. 6. Park in a suitable place If you do not plan to use your car for a long time, you must park it in a safe place protected from the weather. A private garage is the best choice as it can deter potential thieves and vandals while protecting your paintwork from adverse weather and other outdoor threats. You should make sure that your car is dry and the garage is well ventilated. Thanks to the safe position, you can even start your car with wheel chocks behind the wheels instead of the handbrake to prevent the handbrake cable from stretching. If a garage is out of the question, try parking in a shady and well-lit place during the day. Trees provide protection from certain weather conditions, but makes your car more susceptible to bird droppings and tree sap, which you will need to clean up later. A cover protects your car from the outside world, but should only be used if a required parking permit is not covered. LAST WORDS If you adhere to the instructions above, then be rest assured that your vehicle will be in good shape during and after the Lockdown. Before hitting the road during the rainy seasons, it's great if you have a mechanic check the battery to determine if it's working well. If you want to drive safely during rainy seasons, you should also consider the condition of your tyres. When driving on wet surfaces, there is a high possibility of experiencing aquaplaning. Make sure the tyres are in good condition and if they are worn you may want to consider replacing them. Before hitting the road, check to see if the tyres have the correct pressure as indicated in the car manual. 3. Vision and Distance Driving in the rain limits your vision. This is why it is required to have your headlight and taillight on when driving during the rainy season. Checking the condition of your headlights and taillights gives you a better view and also helps other road users know your location. Make sure they are on, and if you want the best visibility, low beams are best. With the new technology, we have LED headlights that provide stronger lighting and improve driving safety. Keeping your distance is another great tip for driving in rainy weather. Most accidents happen during rain because it creates a bad surface for vehicles. This means that vehicles spin and spin out of control, causing accidents. Limit your speed and keep a distance from the next vehicle. 4. Check the Wiper blades and Brakes You may not have used the wipers for several months, especially in hot weather condition. When the rainy season comes, make sure the wipers are working properly. For best performance, you should change the wiper blades every year. This ensures your continuous visibility. You should also check that the brakes are working effectively. If you have no experience, you can hire a specialist to check the condition of your brakes. Problem areas are the brake pads and the brake discs. You should also check the color of the brake fluid. The best time to replace it is when you find that the color looks like a fish sauce. 5. Do you have weatherproof accessories and know the flow The worst experience is that water gets into the car from the rain. Not only can this be uncomfortable, it can also damage the items in your car. If you want to enjoy comfortable rides, get the best weatherproof accessories to ensure that no water gets inside your car. You can buy trunk trays, pedal caps and rubber mats, among other things. You should also know the process to avoid getting into trouble. Many drivers underestimate the water flow on the road and are eventually carried away. It doesn't matter how big your car is, as long as the water is moving it can still be carried by the running water. In situations where you have the ability to walk through the water, it is great to know the depth and power of the water. If you know the two, you can determine whether crossing is safe or risky. The federal government has asked governors to provide at least 300 beds in their respective states, "in the event of an increase in the novel coronavirus pandemic (Covid-19) spread across the country." Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, said this in Abuja on Friday when he informed the government of Nigeria’s efforts to curb the disease at a forum of the Nigeria News Agency (NAN). Mohammed, a member of the Presidential Coronavirus Task Force, said the facilities would serve as isolation centers and intensive care units for Covid-19 patients. He said while testing for the virus was centralized, it was difficult to move people who do positive tests across states. “The governors shouldn't wait for a flood of patients before making preparations. "We do not ask them to build hospitals, but if they have facilities that can be remodeled, such as hotels or conference centers, let us know and we will come and accredit them. "We will tell them what equipment they would need and what type of training we will give as support," he said. The minister welcomed the co-operation that the task force had previously received from the states in the fight against the disease and assured Nigerians that the federal government would continue to take the lead and set the policy. He also expressed optimism that the government would take advantage of covid-19's experience to further develop health care facilities in the country. "We sincerely pray that we won't make the same mistake after fighting Ebola, and we relaxed. “We intend to take the opportunity to use this corona virus to improve our healthcare system at the federal, state and local levels. “Nobody ever thought that what is worse than Ebola will come. The successes we have achieved so far have been achieved through technology and data sharing with WHO, the United States' center for disease control, ”he said. Regarding the distribution chains for the 70,000 tons of grain released by the government as a palliative, the minister said that the database, which was used with the World Bank's support for special intervention programs, would be used. “The criteria include age, state of health, sometimes your location and the extent of poverty. “We set this up and use it to send money to beneficiaries every month. “Over the years, NEMA has also developed a disaster response plan. They know how to reach the victims. " He said the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development would coordinate and monitor the effective distribution of goods to ensure that they reach the poor. In troubling times like the corona-virus outbreak, things might look like things are out of your control. Most routines are messed up, and experts believe the future is far from certain. But there are still many things you can do - apart from social distancing and washing your hands with soap to protect your health and well-being. 1. Eat well Eating as healthy as possible is not only important for our physical health, but also for our psychological well-being. A healthy diet has been shown to reduce our risk of chronic diseases such as cardiovascular disease, diabetes and obesity, as well as depression and anxiety. You do not have to follow a specific diet, just avoid processed foods, as they usually contain a lot of sugar. The best foods for our sanity are generally the healthiest foods. Complex carbohydrates found in fruits, vegetables and whole grains provide important nutrients for our brain as they slowly release energy, which also stabilizes our mood. A balanced diet ideally includes a variety of foods with a high vitamin A, B, C, D and E content as well as the minerals iron, zinc and selenium. B vitamins found in green vegetables like broccoli and spinach, beans, bananas, eggs, poultry, fish and beetroot are important for our brain and its fortune chemicals, serotonin and dopamine. Deficiency of B6, B12 and folic acid (B9) is common in depression. It is also important to keep an eye on our gut health, which shows an increasing number of researches that have a remarkable impact on our mood and behavior. In its tips for coping with the stress caused by the outbreak of the coronavirus, the World Health Organization (WHO) reminds us "not to use smoking, alcohol or other drugs to deal with your emotions". They recommend speaking to a health care professional or consultant if you feel overwhelmed. 2. Sleeping deeply Sleep is important for our bodies to repair cells, remove toxins, consolidate our memories and process information. There is good evidence that sleep deprivation can have a significant impact on our health - which negatively affects our focus on mental well-being and even our emotional intelligence. It can also increase our risk of developing chronic conditions like diabetes, obesity, and heart disease. As with our eating, working and exercising schedules, it is important to maintain a regular sleep routine. For most people, six to nine hours a night is enough. If you go to bed and wake up at a similar time each day, you can keep a sense of normalcy and implement your plans. If you have trouble falling asleep because you are awake and worried, try to limit the consumption of the messages before bed. It can also be helpful to be exposed to fewer screens in the evening, as the effects of blue light on our retina can affect our quality of sleep. 3. Exercise enough Exercise releases chemicals in the body that make us feel good, and has also been linked to better sleep, less stress and anxiety, and improved memory and cognition. While the area where you can run around outside may be restricted during the closures, walking outdoors, even for a short time, has been shown to improve people's mental states. Even if you can only take a short walk once a day, research suggests that only two hours a week in nature is associated with better health and well-being. However, be careful not to exercise if you have flu-like symptoms or if you feel exhausted. 4. Social connection Now we need our friends more than ever. There is evidence that social attachment is as important to our health as nutrition, exercise, and sleep. No, you cannot host a dinner party or a picnic in the lock-down. But not all social interactions need to be face to face to make sense. Try to recreate them through video calls. You can organize a virtual dinner using apps like Zoom, a house party, or good old Google Hangouts.
