Nigeria announced new cases of COVID-19 on Wednesday night and increased the total number of confirmed cases in the country to 51, the Nigeria Center for Disease Control announced.

The President of the Nigerian Governors Forum (NGF) and the Governor of Ekiti, Dr. Kayode Fayemi, have beseeched their fellow Governors and all who attended the NGF meetings on Wednesday, March 18 to be tested.

Fayemi, who is currently in isolation and awaiting his COVID-19 test result, gave the advice in a statement issued by Abdulrazaque Bello-Barkindo, Chief, Media and Public Affairs of the NGF Secretariat, in Abuja on Wednesday.

Fayemi implored his fellow governors and everyone who attended the meetings on Wednesday, March 18 and other subsequent meetings to follow the precautionary path and do whatever it takes to detect the virus and isolate himself.
These, according to him, include the personal assistants of those governors, to ensure that the spread of the disease remains at its lowest point in the country.

"Along the same line, he calls on all Nigerians who attended functions, in which at least one person positively identified with COVID - 19, to immediately isolate themselves and present themselves to the NCDC for identification and testing.

“Hiding from the public and self-treatment puts the entire public at risk. We all must do our part to stop the spread of this highly infectious disease.

“The infection with the COVID -19 virus is treatable. The sooner you identify yourself, the better.

“The President wants everyone with COVID-19 in Nigeria and around the world to make a full recovery. For all those who lost their lives, may their souls rest in peace. "

Fayemi said the test became essential after attending a series of meetings with some people who tested positive for COVID -19.

He chaired the Forum meeting on March 18 and also addressed an audience who attended an exclusive breakfast between governors and the World Bank the following day, Thursday, March 19.

In both cases, people attended who finally turned out to be positive carriers of the Coronavirus.

Subsequently, the President of NGF attended the meeting of the National Economic Council and the meeting of Governors of the Congress of All Progressives (APC), in which the same people or others positively identified with the COVID-19 virus participated.

Fayemi said this should be done in accordance with existing procedures and regulations already outlined to ensure public safety and to attempt testing whenever or wherever possible.

The Governor urged all Nigerians to heed the government's stay-at-home order unless it is an essential duty.

The PCV valve hose (positive crankcase ventilation) directs excess gases from the crankcase to the PCV valve. From there it is added to the intake manifold and used by the engine. The GV80 is the three-row sports device that the young luxury brand used from the start. Genesis, which was featured on the rear of the G80 and G90 sedans and last year along with the G70, survives with four-door cars in a world obsessed with trucks and

The Civic Type R starts the 2020 model year with some changes, some of which are more significant than others. Honda revised the suspension and brakes, modified the design inside and out, and added standard driver assistance functions - although we didn't really miss them in such a driver-oriented car at first.

The airless tyres combine the tread and the wheel of a tyre into a single high-strength structure that nullifies any chance of a
flat tyre. Bridge-stone's portfolio of advanced airless tyres covers a wide range of uses on Earth and beyond. The most essential solution could be used in commercial fleets and for personal mobility, while the most unusual concept is an airless, elastic tyre and wheel solution that the company is developing for a moon rover that can be used for an international space exploration mission.

The networked tyre concept includes more technology. Some drivers today use connected tyres as part of tyre pressure monitoring systems. But the proactive smart tyre Bridgestone presents can do a lot more than just tell if the tyre needs some air. The tyre can grasp the road and its condition and then send this information to the car to make decisions about driving.

Today's systems can respond to a tyre slipping, but the new Bridge stone connected tyre is said to provide the ADAS with more information to better prevent crashes.

The additional information comes from a new sensor in the tyre that is glued to the inner wall of the tyre. With each revolution, the sensor measures the deformation of the adhesive when this part of the tyre touches the ground to measure the load on the tyre.

This information is then sent to an on-board system that uses a "digital twin model" of this tyre and converts strain measurements into wear estimates using a Bridge-stone algorithm that contains proprietary information about that particular tyre.

Some information about the tyre could be sent beyond the vehicle to which it is attached. The sensor is sensitive enough to detect flat potholes.

Global law firm Hogan Lovells has partnered with Aluko & Oyebode, the legal department of the Lagos Chamber of Commerce International Arbitration Board (LACIAC), and Nigeria Liquefied Natural Gas Limited (NLNG) to organize a two-day training course for some NLNG employees.
The training took place at the NLNG premises on Bonny Island in the state of Rivers. The participants had the opportunity to hold constructive and interactive meetings with legal experts.

Speakers included London partners Nathan Searle, Angus Rankin and Dr. Ademola Bamgbose, arbitrator at Hogan Lovells; Babatunde Fagbohunlu, SAN, construction and arbitration lawyer Ngo-Martins Okonmah, Dare Senbore of Aluko & Oyebode; and Funmi Iyayi managing director, LACIAC.

Discussions centered around legal risk management and international business disputes, particularly regarding engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contracts in the oil and gas sector.

It also included an overview of the applicable laws in the industry and the challenges that the referees face in the Nigerian context.

The session provided attendees with a platform to discuss the best legal practices and trends in the world, and to explore the problems and opportunities of the LNG sector in Nigeria.
Hogan Lovells partner, Nathan Searle, was confident in the Nigerian oil and gas industry and said it had a strong future.

Given that Nigeria has one of the largest natural gas reserves in the world and NLNG is the fifth largest LNG producer in the world, Searle said that the sector's potential must be further exploited by further expanding existing knowledge through training such as this.

“NLNG is growing in Africa and has been looking at Nigeria for the past ten years. Despite difficult market conditions, numerous international transactions were carried out.

This has given the industry a strong international profile. Through this training, we exchanged global best practices and solutions that can lead to sustainable growth of the Nigerian oil and gas sector. and we are happy to be among the thought leaders that are influencing the way this sector is addressing key future issues, ”said Searle.

The organizer of the symposium, managing director of LACIAC, Funmi Iyayi, reiterated the efforts of the panel to provide tailor-made dispute resolution solutions and to support companies not only in settling but also in resolving disputes through partnerships with local and global thought leaders.

LACIAC sees an increasing role of arbitration in contracts that include the Nigerian oil and gas and construction sectors to ensure efficient, affordable, and local dispute resolution for disputes that may arise during a project.
