PoliticsHappy Birthday Nkoyo Imoh- GOD'S Kingdom Rejoices by Godspowerpro(op): 6:55pm On Nov 24, 2025
Psalm 150:6 KJV
[6] Let every thing that hath breath Praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD.

On November 23, 2025, the world celebrated the birth anniversary of one of the most -sold out for GOD- women of our time- Nkoyo Imoh.
Powered by a heart for the things of our Lord Jesus Christ, she is an icon of innovation, generosity and personified love of GOD through love for humanity.

As she clocks a year older, GODSPOWERPROJECT celebrates her extraordinary journey- one that shatters ethnic barriers, and denominational differences, while enabling the younger generations, particularly Christians to take deeper roots in Christ, and bear fruits worthy of repentance.

Raised by her family not to take the matters of GOD with levity, it became clear from a young age that Nkoyo would be a threat to the kingdom of darkness.
And over the years, GOD has continuously empowered her to build a Kingdom legacy; as a Church's Children's Class Teacher, Generous Giver, Spiritual Mentor to Christians from different denominations, Biological Mother, and Amazing Wife, among other notable roles.

Despite being a certified and practicing Laboratory Scientist, Nkoyo is currently the Lead Anchor at Power Friendship Center (FC) at The Lord's Crew (TLC), and also the Children's Church Coordinator. At the same time, she is the lead marketer for the Bestselling "1 Corinthians" Expository journal of Apostle Paul's first letter to the Church in Corinth, by Aniekan Peters.

As Nkoyo Imoh celebrates the Grace of GOD upon her life this November, GODSPOWERPROJECT amplifies the sound of Joy in the Body of Christ as this Kingdom Giant adds another year.
Happy birthday Mrs. Imoh, many happy returns in Jesus precious name

PoliticsInsider Fraud Foiled: Bank Reports Ex-staff To EFCC Over $510,000 Loss by Godspowerpro(op): 11:45pm On Nov 15, 2025
Psalm 150:6 KJV
[6] Let every thing that hath breath Praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arraigned a former bank staff member, Obinna Nwaobi, before the Federal High Court in Enugu over the alleged criminal diversion of a customer’s $510,000.

Nwaobi was brought before Justice C.O. Ajah on a seven-count charge bordering on obtaining money by false pretence, fraudulent conversion, and stealing.

The EFCC said he abused his position as a banking officer to illicitly divert funds entrusted to him by a customer.

According to the charge, Nwaobi allegedly received the sum of $510,000 from a customer under the guise of helping to manage and invest the funds but dishonestly converted the money to his personal use.

The offences, the Commission noted, violate Section 1(1)(a) of the Advance Fee Fraud Act 2006 and Sections 342 and 343 of the Criminal Code Law of Enugu State.

The Commission stated that the alleged fraud was uncovered after the new generation bank where Nwaobi previously worked detected suspicious transfers linked to him.

An internal review reportedly confirmed the irregularities, prompting the bank to escalate the matter to the EFCC, which then opened a full-scale investigation leading to his arraignment.

A senior compliance officer of the bank explained that strengthened surveillance systems and routine monitoring helped detect the suspicious transactions early.

The bank, he said, remains committed to sanitising the financial sector by reinforcing its anti-fraud unit and investing in advanced tools that track unusual account activities in real time.

The bank reaffirmed its collaboration with law-enforcement agencies to ensure that any staff member involved in fraudulent activity is promptly identified and prosecuted as part of wider efforts to protect customer funds and bolster public confidence in the banking system.

Nwaobi pleaded not guilty to all charges. Following his plea, the prosecution counsel requested a trial date and asked the court to remand the defendant.

Justice Ajah ordered that he be remanded at the Enugu State Correctional Facility pending the determination of his bail application and adjourned the matter for further hearing.

The Executive Secretary/CEO of Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF), Dr. Ayo Ogunsan is urging Lagos's biggest segment of the population to chore up the capacity of the Public-Private partnership agency so that it can continue to deliver on its set objectives, National Association of Online Security News Publishers, NAOSNP can report.

Dr. Ogunsan made the call when he interacted with the youths at the Police-Youth Dialogue on Thursday in Lagos. The event was organized by the Lagos State Ministry of Youth and Social Development in Ikeja, Lagos.

Themed 'The Power of Partnership: Cultural Trust and Understanding Between Youth and Law Enforcement Agencies', the event had in attendance the Commissioner of Youth and Social Development, Hon. Mobolaji Ogunlende; Executive Secretary/CEO of LSSTF, Dr. Ayo Ogunsan; Commissioner of Police, Lagos State Command, CP Olohundare Moshood Jimoh; Oniru of Iru Kingdom, Oba Omogbolahan Lawal; top government officials; senior Police officers, youth representatives, and civil society groups.

The Commissioner for Youth and Social Development, Hon. He noted that 'There can be no society where peace and security reign if there is no cordial relationship between the youth and the Police.'
'Both sides must see each other as partners in progress', Ogunlende affirmed.

In his remarks, the LSSTF boss, Dr. Ayo Ogunsan stated: 'Our own job is very simple and I am going to preach the Gospel here very quickly. At the LSSTF, we raise funds to take care of the Nigeria Police and other security agencies in Lagos. The Nigeria Police are our primary focus because they are in charge of internal security in any part of this country including Lagos.'

The Executive Secretary emphasized the role of youth in the security architecture of Lagos State and encouraged them to partner with the Fund so as to maintain a safer Lagos for everyone. 'What that means is that you should donate to the LSSTF no matter how small. Don't tell me Nigerian youths are poor, no they are not poor, they are very rich in intellect and in their pocket.'

'Out of the little you have, donate to the LSSTF, the money is used to buy equipment to support Police so that they can perform better and keep Lagos safer. It is also used to provide logistics and to train the Police better so that they can understand the best practices that you need from them', Ogunsan said.

On his part, the Commissioner of Police, Lagos State Command, CP Olohundare Jimoh said he is committed to strengthening the relationship between Nigeria Police and young people through continuous dialogue, community partnerships, and empowerment initiatives. He said: 'The youth population is vibrant, innovative, and forward-thinking; they represent the energy that drives our economy and defines our culture, This programme has erased longstanding gaps and misunderstandings between the Police and young people in the state.'

Jimoh highlighted several initiatives aimed at improving Police–youth relations, including the appointment of information officers across all area commands, expansion of gender units to enhance the protection of women and children, and the launch of a 'Bail is Free' initiative to ensure that bail services are indeed free of charge across Lagos State. 'As part of the initiative, I have distributed complimentary cards bearing my signature, which guarantee free bail services across all police divisions in the state,' he said.

PoliticsNCCSALW Will Enjoy Our Support - Ogunsan; Assures Alamutu On LSSTF Visit by Godspowerpro(op): 10:30am On Nov 15, 2025
By Oki O Samson

Psalm 150:6 KJV
[6] Let every thing that hath breath Praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD.

The Director of the Southwest zone of the National Centre for the Control of Small Arms and Light Weapons NCCSALW, CP Abiodun Alamutu (retd) on his Lagos tour has paid a courtesy visit to the security funding agency, Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF) to seek their support for the activities in the State. Noting that every security agency in Lagos has benefited immensely from LSSTF, the former CP of Ogun State called on the LSSTF Executive Secretary/CEO, Dr. Ayo Ogunsan to put his organization into due consideration. National Association of Online Security News Publishers, NAOSNP can report.

CP Alamutu retd highlighted in his visit that 'the National Center for the Control of Small Arms and Light Weapons NCCSALW is set out to prevent and control the proliferation of small arms and light weapons in our society.'
He added that, 'The Center was established on the 3rd of May 2021, by the then President and Commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces, President Muhammad Buhari GCFR, in accordance with Article 24 of the ECOWAS Convention on Control of Small Arms and Light Weapons. This establishment was made via a verbal directive. However, the bill establishing the Center was assented in 2024 by the incumbent President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR.'

The Center domiciled in the Office of National Security Adviser has 'offices in the Six geopolitical zones of the country', Alamutu stated. 'I represent the South West. Our personnel are drawn from all security agencies, particularly the Nigerian Army, Navy, Air Force, the Nigeria Police, DSS and other security agencies. We are here today primarily to seek for your support and to join us in the fight against the proliferation of small arms and light weapons.'

The Executive Secretary/CEO of LSSTF, Dr. Ayo Ogunsan hailing the NCCSALW for its set goals and programs noted 'the responsibility of preventing and controlling the proliferation of small arms and light weapons is an arduous task that must be done going by the intensity of security challenges that Nigeria is faced with currently almost all over the country.'

Ogunsan thanked the National Coordinator, DIG Johnson Kokumo retd. and the Southwest zonal director, CP Abiodun Alamutu retd for their commitment. He then pledged the support of the LSSTF for their efforts in Lagos. 'For us at LSSTF, we are focused on supporting initiatives and agencies that will keep Lagos State safe and secured. I can assure you that NCCSALW will also enjoy our support in terms of logistics, equipment, and capacity building of its officers.'

NCCSALW Southwest Director, CP Alamutu Pays Courtesy Visits To Lagos CP Jimoh, Seek Stronger Collaborations Against Proliferation Of Small Arms and Light Weapons

Psalm 150:6 KJV
[6] Let every thing that hath breath Praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD
.

The Director of the Southwest zone of the National Centre for the Control of Small Arms and Light Weapons, NCCSALW, CP Abiodun Alamutu (retd) has called on the Nigeria Police Force and Nigerians as a whole to join the efforts of his organization to stop the inflows of small arms and light weapons into the country. He made this call when he paid a courtesy visit to the Commissioner of Police in Lagos, CP Olohundare Moshood Jimoh at the State Command HQ, Ikeja yesterday, National Association of Online Security News Publishers, NAOSNP can report.

The former CP of Ogun State, Abiodun Alamutu (retd) addressing the Lagos CP said: 'Since my assumption of duty over seven months ago, we have always had reason to visit Lagos on official assignment because Lagos is perhaps the epicenter of activities, but unfortunately, I've never had the privilege of meeting you officially, and it has always been a source of concern. This explains why I deem it essential to be here today with my team. We have come to realize in the course of interacting with stakeholders that not much is known about the Center, and it is important we familiarize ourselves so that we can get better understanding and enjoying working relationships.'

He recalled the reason behind the establishment of the NCCSALW stating, 'You will all agree with me that for some time, the country has been witnessing different forms of unrest ranging from terrorism in the north, secessionist agitation in the East, Oodua Republic only in the west, and the fact that Nigeria shares borders with Benin, Niger, Chad, and Cameroon, and those contiguous countries equally having one kind of unrest on the other.

Chad shares borders with Libya and Sudan and our borders are porous because it is estimated that we have 84 internationally recognized land borders but upwards of 1400 illegal routes to access the country. All these factors make the Federal Government find it crucial to form the National Center for the Control of Small Arms and Light Weapons which is to prevent and control the proliferation of small arms and light weapons in our society.'

'The Center was established on the 3rd of May 2021, by the then President and Commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces, President Muhammad Buhari GCFR, in accordance with Article 24 of the ECOWAS Convention on Control of Small Arms and Light Weapons. This establishment was made via a verbal directive. However, the bill establishing the center was assented in 2024 by the incumbent President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR. The Center is domiciled in the Office of National Security Adviser, and is saddled with the responsibility of preventing and controlling the proliferation of small arms and light weapons.'

'We have offices in the Six geopolitical zones of the country. I represent the South West. Our personnel are drawn from all security agencies, particularly the Nigerian Army, Navy, Air Force, the Nigeria Police, DSS and other security agencies. We are here today primarily to seek for your support and to join us in the fight against the proliferation of small arms and light weapons. We have been having functional relationships with the military and the Nigeria Customs, I believe Lagos being the center of excellence, you will align with us and in the near future, the other Commands will join the flame too', the NCCSALW Southwest director said.

In his response, the Commissioner of Police, Lagos State, CP Olohundare Moshood Jimoh shared: 'I want to start by going into the United Nation Convention and when you talk of International Law and Diplomacy, that there is prohibition of small arms and light weapons which are weapons that can be carried personally and that can cause massive death equally. Heavy weapons are the artillery, armor tanks, affiliate drones and other things that can cause massive destruction and damage.'.

'It is a welcome development that you are here with us today, not only because of your cause but equally, to bring to the mind of my officers the reality on ground and on the responsibility for which the Center is charged with. If you have a population of 22 - 25 million people, which is more than five or six states put together, then it must be a thing of concern. We have been recovering quite a number of weapons on a regular basis, especially from the tactical squad, from the locally-made to foreign-made, you cannot even distinguish nowadays because the locals are so effectively fabricated that we will still have to look at the source.'

'I want to assure you that we are going to collaborate with you 100% in what you are doing, we know the job of policing is very wide, there's no agency of government that has the wide discretionary power like the Police. We are familiar with our responsibility and we will be helping you in this regard. Outside the mandate of the organization, if there's anything that we can still do to ensure that your operations and activities are very successful in the South West, we'll be willing to do so. We are happy that you are here. Thank you so much', CP Jimoh concluded.

The new Executive Secretary/CEO of Lagos State Security Trust Fund LSSTF, Dr. Ayo Ogunsan is urging Lagosians to troop behind the efforts of the public-private partnership with cash donations, equipment contributions, public advocacy, and partnership, indicating that massive support is required to achieve more. He also released the account details of the Trust Fund to the general public urging that no amount is too small or big to donate, National Association of  Online Security News Publishers, NAOSNP can report.

Ogunsan pledged that under his administration, the security funding agency is set to provide more logistics equipment and training for all the security agencies in Nigeria's commercial nerve centre. 'Lagos is a city of ambition, hope, aquatic splendor, and a city of possibilities. We need safety and security', he said.

Dr. Ayo Ogunsan provided a background into the activities of the Trust Fund. 'Lagos State Security Trust Fund LSSTF established by law in 2007 is a Public-Private partnership created to give all security agencies operating in Lagos, especially the Rapid Response Squad RRS, the tools they need to protect us. Through the LSSTF, we provide logistics, equipment, and training for all our security agencies so that our agencies can act faster, respond better, and keep us safer.'

'Already the LSSTF has delivered over 1500 patrol vehicles, body armour, communications gadgets, and empowered response teams in neighborhoods because when the men and women have what they need, our homes, offices, markets, and streets become safer. But there is still more to do, Lagos is growing, crime patterns are shifting and our security agencies sometimes lack adequate logistics, equipment, and training so that gap is where you come in.'

Tributes, Tears As Police Course 1, 2010 Officers Hold Candlelight Procession in Honour of Late DPO Festac, CSP Matilda Umiah Ngbaronye

By Oki O. Samson

Psalm 150:6 KJV
[6] Let every thing that hath breath Praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD

It was a day laden with grief, shock, disbelief, and solemn reflection as the coursemates of the late DPO Festac Division, CSP Matilda Umiah Ngbaronye who sadly passed away after unsuccessful surgery on Friday 24th October, 2025 gathered at the Lagos State Police Command to mourn their own, a woman they described in glowing words as lively, courageous, vibrant, and deeply committed to her duty in the Nigeria Police Force.

The Police officers who were members of the Nigeria Police Force Course 1, 2010 and also enlisted alongside her on April 10, 2010, recalled her life of service and dedication, and the shocking suddenness of her passing, National Association of Online Security News Publishers, NAOSNP can report.

Donning black T-shirts with the picture of CSP Matilda Ngbaronye in front and the "REST ON HERO" caption at the back, the coursemates held a candlelight procession which began at the Lagos State Police Command Headquarters and terminated at the Police college, Ikeja where they were trained during their course in 2010.

Throughout the procession, the coursemates were united in their assertion that a great soul never dies.

CSP Matilda Umiah Ngbaronye, who served until her death as the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) in FESTAC Division, Lagos, was celebrated not just as a fine officer, but as a dependable friend, sister, and role model to many. Her colleagues, drawn from different formations across the country, spoke in intense sadness, each of them painting the portrait of a woman who lived for service, diligence, unity, and excellence.

She was a one-time Deputy Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) for the Lagos State Police Command; the DPO of Ilupeju division; the DPO of Iponri division; the forensic officer at State CID, Panti; and Secretary to former Lagos CP, AIG Hakeem Odumosu (retd). She was known for her professionalism, discipline, and commitment to duty throughout her sterling career in the Nigeria Police which made her earn many awards and recognitions both locally and internationally. Her friendly disposition and humane approach to policing greatly helped her to bridge the gap between the Police and the public she dutifully served.
Speaking on behalf of the coursemates, the Zonal PPRO at Zone 2 Command Onikan, CSP Umma Tunni Ayuba, expressed deep sorrow on the loss and the humanity behind the badge: 'We are members of Course 1, 2010. We enlisted into the Nigeria Police on April 10, 2010. We want Nigerians to know that each time we lose a person, we are deeply hurt, we are humans too. We are like everyone in the society because even when we retire after 35 years, we are going back to the same society. Every Policeman works according to the extant laws. If the bad ones among us do something bad, it doesn't mean everyone is bad.
We want Nigerians to share in our grief
.'
'Matilda died untimely, she died at the peak of her career. Matilda is a lively person, when you want things done, put it in her hands, she will get it done. She speaks Igbo, Hausa, English, and many other languages well. We are very grateful to God that she lived a life of purpose.
We started our candlelight procession from the Lagos State Police Command because she is the DPO in FESTAC under the Command and we proceeded to the college because this place is very significant for all of us. This is where we were all trained. There are a lot of memories here
.
I want to sincerely thank everyone of us. Matilda is not just a colleague but a sister and helper to all of us. She lived a life that was very impactful. We thank Almighty God.'

The DPO of Mancenter, CSP Ayo Elijah described her as a cheerful soul who left lasting footprints: 'Matilda was a jolly good fellow. She was a very great help to many of us as we grew together in the Police. It still tasted sour in my mouth to say 'was'. We have this to rejoice that she left a landmark. May the Lord Jesus rest her soul.'

Another coursemate, CSP Uche Obiora said in deep sorrow: 'I am still in shock because we are very close. We call ourselves besties but you know as time goes on and we got married and started having children, we lose touch. Matilda has prospects, she said she wanted to be the first female IGP, in fact I am still in shock but she lived her life to the fullest.'

The DPO of Oko-oba division, CSP Aliyu shared his pain, reflecting on the brevity of life: 'She is my squad mate and we were very close when we were in school. She is so dedicated. The lesson we should learn from her death is that life is not a permanent place, it is short, nothing is worth it in life. There is no way you will meet her and not like her.'

CSP Lateef Adisa recounted his last conversation with the late officer: 'The Wednesday prior to the death we spoke as I had an assignment in her jurisdiction. She told me about how one of her children was sick and she couldn't travel any longer as planned. We were both at State CID Panti in fact I chose her office for her when she resumed. I thank God for her life. There is no human without shortcomings, if there are any issues, let's forgive. God be with us all.'

CSP Emeka Jude Umeozor spoke with reverence for her professionalism and mentorship: 'The person who brought us here is a legend. When she left as secretary to CP Lagos Command, I was the one who succeeded her and she really carried me along playing a vital role in my success. When she was moved out of the Ilupeju division, I again replaced her there as the DPO and she told me things that made me excel there. Nobody knows the date when death will come, heaven is real, hell is real.'

CSP Matilda’s life, though cut short, at a young age was one of service, excellence, and inspiration. She lived gallantly and left behind memories that will continue to echo in the hearts of those who served alongside her.

Psalm 150:6 KJV
[6] Let every thing that hath breath Praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD

In what has been described as a convergence of talents and purpose, popular gospel singer, entrepreneur, and visionary, Dr. Mrs. Ajoke Olufunmilola Ogunsan known with the stage name as Dr. Ajokesings is setting a new benchmark in Nigeria’s Gospel music scene with the SPAW Talent Quest 2025. The gospel music competition is designed not merely to discover voices, but to nurture destinies, Trek Africa Newspaper can report.

Speaking at a world press conference in Lagos which held post-Grand Finale, Dr. Ajokesings explained that the SPAW Talent Quest initiative was born from her three-decade-long journey into gospel music ministry alongside her intense desire to raise a new generation of gospel musical stars. “This is a vision that God put in my heart to bring young people together, those who have talent in music and help them showcase their God-given talent to the world,” she said.

“This project is not just a talent show, but a kingdom-driven transformative platform designed to nurture raw potentials and project it into the purpose which will serve the Lord Jesus Christ.”

The contest, which drew 100 participants from across Nigeria including Sokoto, Delta, and Kwara states at the initial stage, was whittled down to 50 contestants which was later shortlisted to 10 finalists after a rigorous selection process led by judges and coaches.

Vocal coach, Godwin Omooba who is also one of the judges at the grand finale said the screening focused on vocal dexterity, stage presence, and technical excellence. “From the 10, it even became more difficult because they were all equals,” he noted. “But we had to find the best among equals so we had to add more criteria the contestants were amazing.”

The competition’s top honours went to Praise Moses, Dharmie Hilz, and Isioma Charles, who emerged as the winner, first runner-up, and second runner-up respectively. They obtained the instant cash transfers of NGN 750,000, NGN 500,000 and NGN 350,000 respectively at the press briefing. Also the remaining 7 finalists were rewarded with a surprise NGN 100,000 gift by the convener, Dr. Ajokesings. They also signed a music mentorship contract to legalize their participation on the project. Their gratitude was palpable. “This platform didn’t just let us sing and go home, It allowed us to experience what it means to undergo training and mentorship” said winner Praise Moses who spoke on behalf of the top 10 finalists.

Reverb Studios’ representative, Mariam Haruna, announced a robust mentorship package for the seven finalists, 'once in three months, free studio sessions will be done for each and everyone of you, that is twice in 6 months. We will give you a 4-hour time space to rehearse. Training and mentoring will be done as well,” she told them. For the two runners-up “two months of free studio sessions that will be done in six months. So you can come three times for your rehearsal sessions. So you will be having your training and mentoring as well. Dr. Ajokesings wants to teach you how to hold yourself in society.”

For the winner, Praise Moses, Haruna announced: "You are going to be coming back with us. You will have the production of your own musical single at our studio. Six months training and mentoring will be given to you."

The Manager of Dr. Ajokesings Productions Ltd., the organization behind the idea of SPAW Talent Quest, Mr. Adetunji Alabi, affirmed plans to expand the project beyond Lagos into Nigeria’s six geopolitical zones. “Dr. Ajokesings stands for support, she cares about people, she would not want to bring people all the way on the road, you know how Nigeria is because of security” he said.

“For Dharmie Hilz, it's not that you must compulsorily come from Kwara State to Lagos. We’ll make it very flexible for you as much as possible while prioritizing safety and mentorship.”

The General Manager of Executive Hotel & Suites, one of the major partners of the initiative, Mr. Adebayo Adekunle hailed Dr. Ajokesings’ commitment to youth empowerment through music. “She has a passion for developing young talents. We are very glad that you have chosen to glorify God with the talent He has given you. I want to encourage you that as you become bigger and bigger, you will not forget God that started with you and you will also give back to the society,” he advised.

As the press briefing concluded and gratitude filled the air, it was clear that SPAW Talent Quest is not just an event but a movement to reshape the landscape of Christian music in Nigeria.

ACC John Onoja Attah wins NAOSNP Best Tactical Commander of the Year, a Shining Badge for His Mining Marshal Crusade

Psalm 150:6 KJV
[6] Let every thing that hath breath Praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD

The Nigeria Security Civil Defence Corps' Assistant Commandant of Corps, ACC John Onoja Attah, the fearless head of the NSCDC’s Special Mining Marshals, was handed the coveted "NAOSNP Best Tactical Commander of the Year" award at the 2025 NAOSNP National Security Conference and Awards in Lagos where he was ably represented by CSC Babatunde Oyamakinde.

The security honor, presented by the National Association of Online Security News Publishers (NAOSNP), celebrates his relentless, intelligence‑driven fight against illegal mining and his steadfast protection of Nigeria’s mineral wealth.

Since taking charge of the Mining Marshals under Operation Hayakin Kogo, ACC Attah has turned the unit into a model of inter‑agency synergy. Under his disciplined, data‑centric leadership the corps has:

- arrested over 600 suspects,
- prosecuted more than 240 cases with 11 convictions,
- recovered mineral assets worth millions of naira, and
- reclaimed 98 illegal mining sites, returning them to legitimate operators.

His tactical brilliance, honed at the Defence Intelligence College and West African Regional Training Centre, blends precision, discretion, and incorruptible thoroughness qualities that have made him a trusted “silent sentinel” in the field.

The NAOSNP award isn’t his first. In 2024 he already earned Nigeria’s Most Outstanding Security Officer at SAEMA, the African Security Hero of the Year and several other national honors. Yet the NAOSNP Best Tactical Commander title caps a year of relentless operations in hostile terrains, where he survived armed ambushes and led his men to neutralize dangerous syndicates.

Attah dedicated the victory to NSCDC's Commandant General, Prof. Ahmed Abubakar Audi, whose visionary leadership and strategic framework empowered the Special Mining Marshals.

He also praised the partnership with the Honourable Minister of Solid Minerals,  Dr. Dele Alake, whose policy support has tightened enforcement across the sector.
In his acceptance speech, ACC Attah reaffirmed his commitment to intensify operations despite the daily risks of armed attacks and life‑threatening confrontations.

The "NAOSNP Best Tactical Commander of the Year" honor spotlights Attah’s blend of discipline, intelligence, and decisive action qualities that continue to reshape Nigeria’s security architecture and safeguard its economic future.

CrimeLASTMA Clamps Down On Illegal Garages, Impounds 155 Vehicles On Lagos Island by Godspowerpro(op): 7:31am On Nov 05, 2025
LASTMA Clamps Down on Illegal Garages, Roadside Parks, Impounds 155 Vehicles on Lagos Island, As Government Reiterates Zero Tolerance for Shanties and Under-Bridge Encroachment

Psalm 150:6 KJV
[6] Let every thing that hath breath Praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD
.

In a bold and far-reaching enforcement drive aimed at restoring metropolitan order and guaranteeing the unobstructed flow of vehicular traffic across the city, the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) has intensified its operational clampdown on all forms of illegal roadside activities, impounding a total of 155 vehicles including tricycles and heavily loaded trucks culpable of operating unauthorized garages and parks that have been causing significant traffic impediments across the Lagos Island axis, National Association of Online Security News Publishers, NAOSNP can report.

The comprehensive operation, supervised by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Transportation, Hon. Sola Giwa, strategically targeted unlawful garages, makeshift shanties, and informal trading clusters that have over time degenerated into epicentres of gridlock, environmental degradation, and insecurity to both residents and commuters.

Hon. Giwa affirmed that the ongoing impoundment exercise aligns with the newly reinforced 24-hour traffic management and control mandate of LASTMA and represents a vital component of the Lagos State Government’s wider policy framework to enhance mobility, promote compliance, and ensure total traffic sanity before, during, and after the impending festive season.

He reaffirmed the unwavering resolve of the administration of Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, Governor of Lagos State, to uphold discipline, law, and order across all transportation corridors through the strict enforcement of traffic regulations and an uncompromising zero-tolerance stance against all infractions.

“Illegal garages, unregulated markets, and roadside shanties have persistently undermined our collective aspiration for a smooth and orderly traffic system in Lagos. These impoundments, therefore, send a strong and unequivocal signal that the State Government will no longer condone any unlawful activity capable of disrupting public order or endangering the safety of lives and property,” Hon. Giwa declared.

He further reiterated that the cardinal objective of the enforcement campaign is to cultivate a safe, habitable, and aesthetically ordered urban environment for both motorists and pedestrians, while restoring discipline and civility to critical traffic corridors across the metropolis.

The enforcement operation covered major flashpoints including Ebute-Ero, Oke-Arin Market, Odofin Street, Elegbata, and Marina (Oando Under Bridge)—locations historically identified as chronic choke points caused by unauthorized parking, indiscriminate trading, and the proliferation of makeshift garages.

Authorities observed that these illicit activities not only obstruct free vehicular movement but also constitute grave safety hazards to pedestrians and legitimate business operators within the vicinity.

Consequently, LASTMA’s intervention seeks to dismantle such obstructions, improve traffic fluidity, and elevate the overall commuting experience across Lagos Island and adjoining routes.

Residents and business owners in the affected corridors have lauded the Lagos State Government’s decisive intervention, describing it as a timely and necessary step toward reclaiming the city’s aesthetics, restoring order, and ensuring the safety of all road users.

Hon. Giwa assured that the ongoing exercise would be sustained, uncompromising, and progressively extended to other parts of the State where similar illegalities persist. He urged motorists, traders, and transport operators to adhere strictly to all traffic and environmental regulations, stressing that voluntary compliance remains the most effective pathway to achieving a functional and orderly transport system.

He also enjoined all motorists to assume civic responsibility for the upkeep of public roads by promptly reporting any broken-down or abandoned vehicles, trailers, or trucks to LASTMA via the Agency’s toll-free emergency hotlines: 0810000527862.

“The ultimate vision of the Lagos State Government is to bequeath to its residents a safer, cleaner, and more livable city. Adherence to traffic regulations is not merely a legal necessity but a shared civic responsibility, pivotal to the collective realization of this aspiration,” Hon. Giwa concluded.

Pastor Ifeoluwa Akindayomi, the last born of the founder of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pa Josiah Akindayomi died last Sunday, according to Church Times

He was 63 years old.

His death came about 45 years after that of his father and seven months after the transition of his elder brother, Pastor Kolade Akindayomi on 4 May, this year.

A close family friend of Pastor Ifeoluwa Akindayomi told Church Times that his death was shocking and too sudden,

A source said: ‘Nobody would have thought he would die barely 24 hours after he was chairman of a wedding ceremony.

‘He was very okay and had no sign of any illness. For him to have served as chairman of a wedding a day before he died was clear indication that he was okay to many of us. But the unexpected did happen’.

On how he died, the source said: He had gone for a prayer walk on Sunday morning and came back to his house at the RCCG Camp and was about to prepare for the Sunday service when he missed his steps and fell headlong, hitting his head on a sharp object in the house. He sustained injury from the fall and passed out. Before he could be helped to the hospital the worst had happened’

Ifeoluwa Akindayomi was an Assistant Provincial Pastor of Ogun Province 5 of the RCCG. He also owned a vibrant printing press.

His wife and children have since relocated abroad, according to the source, ‘leaving only him in Nigeria’.

According to the source, the family wanted him to come over to stay with them in Canada where they live. But he insisted on living in Nigeria because of his business and the ministry work

He was said to have expressed a lot of worry that his family was not staying with him in Nigeria and had even tried to persuade his son to come back home so he could help manage the family business.

‘The young man was said to have turned down his father’s request and did not show any interest in coming back to Nigeria’, said the source..

When it was clear his children and wife were not interested in coming back home, he decided lately to relocate to join them. ‘I was told he just secured a permanent stay in Canada and was preparing to go and meet his family before his eventual death’, according to the close acquaintance.

One of his childhood friends, who is also a pastor at the RCCG, Pastor Debo Akinyemi, described the late pastor as a gentle man who did not throw his weight around.

‘He was not given to show and lived a very quiet life. Many people never knew him as the son of the founder. He was not the type that would want any attention for himself. He was just content with his business and the bit he could do in God’s vineyard’, Akinyemi said.

He noted that his greatest strength was being able to keep his friends and his love for people.. ‘He had a good human relations and was doing quite well. The last time I saw him was during the convention of the RCCG. His house was home to many people who came for the convention. I am really devastated to hear of his death’, Akinyemi said.

Recalling their days together at Molusi College, Ijebu Igbo, Ogun State, Akinyemi said: ‘He was a perfect gentle man. He picks his words and was generally pleasant. There was no air around him.. he was just like any other student.

‘He did not go about bragging. As a pastor he truly loved God. He would not fight for anything. One would have thought he would have risen to a very high position in the church. But I guess he must have decided by himself to keep low and not agitate for anything. I am personally going to miss him’

LSSTF, Security Chiefs, Stakeholders Laud Dr. Abdurrazaq Balogun’s Landmark Achievements As Fund's CEO In Sendforth Ceremony
• Balogun confident 'future is bright' at LSSTF

By Oki O. Samson

Psalm 150:6 KJV
[6] Let every thing that hath breath Praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD.

The outgoing Executive Secretary/CEO of Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF) Dr. Abdurrazaq Balogun was over the weekend celebrated in a special send forth ceremony to make the end of an illustrious era at the top position of the Lagos security funding agency. Present at the celebration is the new Executive Secretary/CEO of LSSTF, Dr. Ayo Ogunsan and his wife, Dr. Mrs. Ajoke Ogunsan; the Chairman of the LSSTF Board of Trustees, Mr. Kehinde Durosinmi Etti; LSSTF Board Member, DIG Oshodi Glover (retd); security chiefs in Lagos including the Commissioner of Police, CP Olohundare Moshood Jimoh, Director of DSS, Commanders of Nigerian Army, Air Force and Navy, stakeholders among others, National Association of Online Security News Publishers, NAOSNP can report.

The new Executive Secretary/CEO, Dr. Ayo Ogunsan remarked: 'It's a bittersweet flavor on my part, it's very hard for me to let you go. Dr. Abdurrazaq Balogun, you've been an integral part of the security apparatus in Lagos for ten incredible years. And prior to that, I know where your signature has been, your footprint, and the great work you've done to take the stage to the next level. LSSTF is not going to be your last destination. I see greater things coming in the area after this.'

'You are an esteemed colleague. You are a friend. But to me, you are an Egbon. He's a very blunt, brave, and courageous leader. He doesn't care whose ox is gored. He will tell you the way it is. We will miss you at the Fund.'

The Chairman of LSSTF Board, Mr. Kehinde Durosinmi Etti eulogized Dr. Balogun, 'Abdurrazaq and I worked on the Board for several years, we all thought that whoever would come after Fola could not do well. But I can say on record, maybe Degbola who is probably one of the few surviving people from that time, can also testify to it that it's been seamless. I haven't noticed a difference, it's been an improvement.'

'He's a very simple, straight, and direct man who doesn't beat about the bush and gets the job done. He's very reliable, knows how to manage the situation, and knows his priorities. I don't think there's ever been once that he has come up with an idea that we questioned him to take it back. What we've maintained in the Fund is very good corporate governance. The funds are audited every year and there is no scandal. You don't hear it with me, you don't hear it with him, and you don't hear it with any of us so that's reputation, that's character. That is what we are here to witness today as we pull him out.'

'You have done very well and I am proud of you. Life is a revolving door when one door closes, another one will open, and you'll be surprised at what next you will be challenged with', Etti concluded.

A Board Member of LSSTF, DIG Oshodi Glover (retd) hailed Abdurrazaq Balogun, 'He is a team player, he's a hard-working person and someone who cares. He's very focused, who knows his priority and gives his best to the agency.'

A Member of the Federal House of Representatives, Hon. Oshun Moshood added: 'I call him my leader. You are an asset to the Lagos government. You are an asset to Nigeria. Not because you are here, but you are an asset in all ramifications. There was a person who came to me about 3 years ago who was thinking, let me give him some money. But he said, no, I don't want your money, let's just do the right thing. That's Dr. Abdurrazaq Balogun for you.'

'Serving for 10 years without blemish, that's remarkable. Without blemish, security was strong in lagos. You worked without blemish, the sky is the limit,' Oshun said.

Expressing the gratitude of all the security chiefs in Lagos, the Commissioner of Police, Lagos State, CP Olohundare Moshood Jimoh stated: 'On behalf of myself, the Brigade Commander, the Navy Base Commander, the DSS, Air Force Commander, we say we are grateful for everything you have done for us. We are eternally grateful to you When I came on board, I think about nine months ago, Dr. Ogunsan said, I'm going to pay a courtesy visit to the LSSTF. Dr. Balogun is deeply professional; the way things should be done, and he's somebody that you cannot hide anything from. You have to go straightforward with what your intentions and purpose are. I can tell that the kind of security architecture that we have in Lagos, you can't find it anywhere else.'

'There are quite a lot of things that are ongoing, and I am confident that the twin brother, the incoming ES is the twin brother, will continue from where he has stopped,' Jimoh said.

The CEO of a private security firm, Halogen Group, Wale Olaoye also celebrated Dr. Balogun for his tenure. 'The man has done this for 10 years, and without blemish. He has earned the right to say and live in clear conscience. He has left an indelible mark and all could attest to that.'

In his appreciation speech to everyone who was at the event and Lagosians at large, Dr. Abdurrazaq Balogun shared: 'It has been an extraordinary honor and privilege to serve as the Executive Secretary and CEO of the Lagos State Security Trust Fund. Over the years, we have worked together to uphold a vision of a safer, more secure state. Through innovation, dedication and resilience, we strengthened the capacity of our security agencies, deepened public-private collaboration and built greater trust between governments and the people we serve.'

'To my dear colleagues and staff at the Fund, Mr. Lewis, Ada, Ngozi, Otu, Azeez, Blessing and Merit, and also my drivers and my security details, you have been the true engine of our success.

Your loyalty, professionalism and hard work have made every milestone possible. I am proud of what we have achieved together and I am confident that the spirit of excellence we have built will endure long after my exit from the Fund.'

'To the Distinguished Members of the Board of Trustees, under the visionary leadership of our amiable Chairman, Mr. Kehinde Durosinmi Etti, I thank you very much for your guidance, your wisdom and your unwavering belief in our mission. Your leadership has been a solid anchor throughout my tenure.'

'To our donors and partners, I thank you very much for your enduring faith in the Fund. Your generosity and sustained commitment have kept the LSSTF mandate alive, ensuring that Lagos remains a model for effective security cooperation in Nigeria.'

'I must also extend deep appreciation to the service Chiefs and the brave men and women in uniform who continue to keep our state very safe. Working alongside you has been one of the greatest privileges of my career. I am specially grateful to the Commissioner of Police, with whom I have shared a very cordial and highly productive relationship, built on mutual respect and a shared passion for the safety of our citizens. The Commissioner of Police, CP Jimoh, is the ninth (9) Commissioner that I have worked with.'

'To my beloved wife, Kudirat, and my wonderful children, I thank you all for your endless love, patience and understanding. You have been the source of my strength through every challenge and trial. This moment belongs to you as much as it does to me.
And to my friends and family members who have come here today to bid me farewell, my elder brother is here, my cousins are here, my uncle, his wife, and my brother-in-law, Salam, is also here. I thank you very much for your understanding and standing with me through the years for your prayers, encouragement, and belief in this journey.'

'I also owe an immense gratitude to Mr. Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the Governor of our dear state, for his constant support, encouragement and trust in my capacity to serve. His leadership and unwavering commitment to security and good governance have been a source of strength.'

'As I move on to the next phase of my life in public service, I do so with pride in what we have accomplished and deep hope for what lies ahead for LSSTF. The future is bright, and I have no doubt that the firm will continue to thrive, evolve, and expand its impact in keeping Lagos safe for all of us', Dr. Balogun concluded.

While paying glowing tributes to Dr. Abdurrazaq Balogun, Ogunsan described him as 'a blunt, brave, and courageous leader' who led with both firmness and grace. 'He doesn’t care whose ox is gored, he’ll tell you the truth as it is,” Ogunsan said, drawing laughter and applause from the audience.
'We’ve fought, reconciled, and shared deep moments. He is not just a colleague or a friend, he’s an Egbon to me.'

Revealing the future of the security funding agency, Ogunsan reassured stakeholders that the core of LSSTF would remain strong under his leadership. 'The real nucleus, the heart of LSSTF, will remain intact. We will continue with the existing template, but you will see new innovations and ideas. That should be the prayer of every leader, that their successor will do even better,' he affirmed.

He also expressed deep gratitude to the Governor of Lagos State, Gov. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu for finding him worthy to continue the Fund’s mandate, pledging to 'make the Governor and the people of Lagos proud.'

Ogunsan who formerly served as a board member equally lauded the Chairman of the LSSTF Board of Trustees, Mr. Kehinde Durosinmi-Etti, calling him 'the best board chairman anyone could work with.'

To the security agencies, partners, and staff of LSSTF, the new Executive Secretary extended a hand of collaboration. 'Whatever you want me to do, I will do. We will work hand in hand to strengthen internal security across Lagos,' he stated.

Closing on an emotional note, Dr. Ogunsan thanked his wife, Dr. Mrs. Ajoke Olufunmilola Ogunsan for her unwavering support.

He also celebrated Dr. Balogun’s family who were present at the event telling them to be proud of 'the complete family man to the core' they have got.

'Dr. Balogun, we will miss you deeply at the Fund. You’ve shown us what excellence looks like. I will carry your legacy forward and build on it,' Ogunsan concluded.

Responding to the dichotomy between secular and gospel music and its attraction to young people, Dr. Ajokesings said: 'We know that secular music seems to be taking over but I believe that with encouragement, we can let our young ones know that it really pays to serve Jesus with their talents, voices, time, and everything. No one can do it alone, we have to encourage them and set up platforms for them to be able to succeed.'

She also extended appreciation to the judges, coaches, and contestants for their dedication and faith. 'I want to thank my judges and coaches. I want to also thank the contestants for coming. I want to appreciate my fans who have come out for this grand finale. We will all enjoy ourselves in the presence of the Lord.'

The Chief judge of SPAW Talent Quest 2025, Prof. Albert Oikelome added about the organization of the event, 'This is a very exceptional and power-packed event. Nobody here will doubt the level of dexterity and creativity that was put into this.'

'I want to advise young gospel artistes to pay attention to their breath control, emotional carriage, stage management, dynamics, staying to tune, and ability to connect with the audiences. I also want to advise them to aspire to greatness, go for competitions. When you go for competitions, it is either you win or lose but you are growing', he said.

Expressing his joy, the star winner, Praise Moses who is a singer and songwriter said: 'I kept praying that I am blessed and that I won't leave here empty-handed. I have been scoring the songs that I did, all the 10 songs, since I got the email that I will be coming for this competition. I have listened to Tasha Cobbs since age 6 and in Nigeria, I listen to Judikay.'
'I want to say thank you to Dr. Ajokesings for this platform and the organizers for this opportunity to share the gospel on this big stage. I am grateful to God for this privilege', Praise Moses said.

The 1st runner-up, Dharmie Hilz shared: 'I am grateful to God that I got to this position, many are called but few are chosen. I want to say thank you to the organizers for this platform, it is a dream come true when you see people that have made up their minds to support others. Imagine leaving your house in the morning, saying that you want to go and use your voice to make money, it's a lot. I am grateful. Thank you to Dr. Ajokesings, your seeds are blessed.'

Declaring his commitment to pursue a gospel music career, Dharmie Hilz said: 'I am a Gospel minister, I sing in church, I am committed to that, by the Grace of God I will continue because it is not by might nor by power, I am putting my trust in God that my plans will come to fruition. Within the next 5 years, I want to start my own studio where I can render my services to people and bless people with Gospel content.'

'Education is key to music. All that I was able to do today is by education, knowledge. Education singles you out, it puts you in a place where you have understanding of what you are doing, know how to do it and you know how to replicate the same thing. Education makes you stand out from the crowd', he added.

The 2nd runner-up, Isioma Charles revealed: 'I have been praying a lot as I practiced over and over the songs that I did. I was really nervous this morning but the boldness came gradually.'

On her future plans, the songstress said 'I want to write songs and tell my story through songs. I want to awaken souls through my songs. God brought me out of the streets, I was lost and into drugs but God arrested me and cleaned me, He brought me back. Imagine this voice doing drugs. That's my testimony.'
'I want to say a big thank you to Dr. Ajokesings for this great opportunity', Isioma Charles concluded.

Psalm 150:6 KJV [6] Let every thing that hath breath Praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD.

The Lagos State Commissioner of Police, CP Olorundare Moshood Jimoh, on Monday October 20, led some officers in the state command in a 'show of force' demonstration in preparation for the #FreeNnamdiKanu protest slated for the day as announced by activist, Mr. Omoyele Sowore, National Association of Online Security News Publishers, NAOSNP can report.

Speaking in Ikeja, CP Jimoh emphasized, 'This operation seeks to install confidence in the public and reassure all Lagosians of their safety.

He further offered reassurance that individuals can go about their daily business without fear of apprehension.

'We are aware of protests taking place in certain parts of the country, and we would like to inform the people of Lagos there are no ongoing protests within the state.

To maintain public order, we have strategically deployed personnel to historically sensitive locations, including the under bridge in Ikeja, Maryland, Ojota, Lekki Tollgate, and all local communities within the state, to prevent any potential disruption of peace in Lagos.

Lagos High Court Restrains Osondu Ossai, Any Faction From Igbo Day, Public Events; Again Affirms Solomon Ogbonna Aguene As Authentic Ohanaeze Ndigbo Lagos President

Psalm 150:6 KJV
[6] Let every thing that hath breath Praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD
.

A Lagos State High Court sitting in the Ikeja judicial division has ordered forthwith that no group should parade itself as Ohanaeze Ndigbo or organize any public events in the name of the esteemed sociocultural organization in Nigeria's commercial nerve centre, Lagos. This order was vetoed by Hon. Justice Adenike Shonubi at her sitting on the matter on Friday 16th October 2025. This court decision puts to a stop all inappropriate and unapproved activities which are tantamount to contempt of court orders being conducted by various factions of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, including the one led by Sunday Osondu Ossai and his team.

The Lagos High Court order also mandates the Nigeria Police Force to arrest anyone involved in any illegal Igbo Day celebrations which are organized by the substantive President Solomon Ogbonna Aguene in Lagos State.

The court decision dated 16th October, 2025, by Justice Shonubi hereby ordered:
i. That leave be and is hereby granted to the Applicant an Interim, restraining the Defendants either injunction by themselves, agents, representatives, privies or members howsoever whatsoever from and acting, themselves, holding, parading, meetings or performing any public event in the name of OHANAEZE NDIGBO Lagos State Chapter pending the hearing and determination of the motion on notice.

ii. The Order shall last for Seven (7) days after which it abates and the date commences from today the 16th day of October, 2025.
ISSUED UNDER THE HAND AND SEAL OF THE PRESIDING JUDGE THIS 16TH DAY OF OCTOBER, 2025.”

The suit before the Court is between Chief Solomon Ogbonna Aguene for himself and Ohanaeze Ndigbo Lagos State and Chief Sunday Ossai faction of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Lagos State.'

It would be recalled that an earlier Consent Judgment declared by Justice Folami in 2022 had passed a vote of confidence on the leadership of Chief Solomon Ogbonna Aguene recognizing him as the substantive President of the Frontline Igbo sociocultural organization in Lagos State and encouraging well-meaning Igbo citizens resident in Lagos to join the group for their well-being. Also the global body under the leadership of President General Sen. Mbata recognizes Solomon Ogbonna as the leader of its body in Lagos State.

Ever since, Solomon Ogbonna has demonstrated sterling leadership which has brought governance closer to Ndigbos ensuring that they get necessary support to attain to appointments in the Lagos government and also to uphold their bustling trade and commercial activities. The organization has notably helped hundreds of Igbo widows to get business grants to support their families and businesses from Gov. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu.

Speaking immediately with the press after the court decision of Hon. Justice Adenike Shonubi, the authentic Igbo President in Lagos, Chief Solomon Ogbonna said: 'This court judgement is against the acts of impersonation by personalities calling themselves Ohanaeze Ndigbo in Lagos which we want to put a stop to it. If you hear of any activity from Ohanaeze Ndigbo, it has to be from our Secretariat at 19 James Robertson Street in Surulere Lagos. Any person caught at any event other than from the recognized body will be arrested by security agencies and charged for contempt of court.'

'What we discovered that made us go to the court is that these people are involved in illegality. They are organizing events saying that their President Osondu Ossai is sick and they are raising funds for his hospital bills, medical attention, injections, and medications. They are using it to extort money from unsuspecting members of the public. Others who are part of this illegality include Pat Nwanze, Everett Ozonweke, and my former PA, Robert Obazee.'

The authentic Secretary, Amb. Gabriel Eseke added: 'The court is saying that there should be no gathering whatsoever. Don't risk yourself. Don't get involved in any of their activities. The lawfully recognized Chairman is Solomon Ogbonna Aguene. The court gave the judgment in favour of Ohanaeze Ndigbo under Solomon Ogbonna Aguene to hold events.'

This court decision further affirms the leadership of Solomon Ogbonna Aguene in Lagos as recognized by the global body under the leadership of Senator Mbata.
