Refinery dy Lagos...Factory dy Lokoja...Warehouse dy Owerri...maybe shop go dy Aba

I don't see anything wrong with this arrangement. Factory is for production and warehouse is for storage and distribution, therefore manufactured products must be distributed. Choosing Imo State as a warehousing centre comes with its own benefits. At least the right to be a sole distributor is a honour in itself. A lot of factors must have been considered before choosing Imo. Or do you want a factory to also serve as a retail outlet?

one step at a time.

Yes I agree. It should be one step at a time. At public school level, they should start with the Universities and polytechnics then latter consider secondary schools based on their academic records.

Am surprise you are taking a myopic view on this.

The best and enduring education is not the one impacted on you by your teachers, but the one sought by yourself, driven by an inner desire and hunger.

The internet is a vast avenue capable of feeding that hunger and drive, it will enable students to strive beyond the four walls of their classrooms or the limitations of their teacher’s repetitive and tired lesson notes. They will have opportunities and reseviour of knowledge only limited by their drives and desires. At early age, they will be able to see what their peers globally are doing and capable of, making them more apt to compete in the emerging global market place.

Smartphones are ubiquitous these days even in Nigeria, the price point of these devices keep coming down and they are no longer the exclusive reserve of the rich.

Agreed, social misfits will take advantage of it to further their nefarious activities, but that is not enough to deter it. We don’t stop building highways and bridges because Armed Robbers use them to commit their nefarious activities and as such, these concerns should not deter building the information high way or making it more accessible to more Nigerians.

Knowledge is power and advantage.

I quite agree with you on the importance of the internet to education and am not disputing that outrightly. But it is a known fact the average black man does not read. We prefer to be entertained by it. Most people who goes about with earpiece on are not listening to motivational talks or informative news, but rather music. This is my greatest fear if it is introduced into our public secondary schools. I do not have issue with higher institutions.

What happened to your brain when composing this piece? No wonder none of our universities could make the best 1000 list worldwide for more than 15 good years. Free WiFi is a norm in public schools and parks abroad. Stop thinking backward pls. People like you faulted introduction of ATM in year 2000, citing insecurity and possibility of stealing money loaded in it. Now, atm is everywhere, adding values to life. Internet access carries a great score when rating a university or higher institutions worldwide. Virtually every student has android-enabled phones, maybe except you. There are cheap ones out there. Students even find it easier to pass Info across to one another via whatsapp than calls. My niece receives his assignment and important Info on campus via whatsapp through the group.

You know am not thinking backwards as you claim. And am sure you know am making sense of which you will surely come to terms with when it is time. Is it not the same public school and their products we have around these days? You will surely bury your head in shame then. Mark my words.

After installing Wi-Fi are they going to provide them with the tablets and pads to use it with. Or Are they encouraging students and pupils to be using electronic gadgets and high end phones in school. To me this will further act as a distraction to their studies rather than aiding it. Not all students can afford a smart Wi-Fi enabled device and will create bitterness for those who does not have. We all know that nobody can control them when it comes to its usage, hence it will be abused. The government should rather empower the teachers on how best to utilize the internet to aid their teaching ideas by providing them with, digital audio visual equipments, electronic libraries and smart board that is internet enabled. The Wi-Fi should be passworded and known only to the teachers and staff members. This is my take.

Abeg leave that rubbish wey innoson dey couple.he's vehicles are scam. He will go to China and make the parts and come here and couple them and he will tell us that he manufactures cars. Has he ever shown you where he makes the car engine or or axle or shaft and other important and delicate parts? He can only show you where he welds the body parts and where the cars are being joined together that's not manufacturing that's assembly.

The term manufacture in automobile refers also to assembly. No vehicle can be manufactured as a whole as it is made of several parts. There are almost thirty thousand individual parts that makes up a vehicle and these part are manufactured separately by different technical companies worldwide and supplied to a parent company for assembly. This I repeat applies to all car companies including Innoson. So be guided accordingly and stop the hate.

Crime / Re: Nigerian Lady Accuses Taxify Of Doing Nothing About Her Friend’s Assault Case by Godyke(m): 10:04am On Apr 22, 2018
To the best of my knowledge on how Taxify operates, there is no such thing as offline trip. Doing so is strictly an arrangement or agreement between the driver and the rider. Negotiations for such trip is done before it commences and no receipt is issued unless if such is part of the agreement between them. No online in-app trip can be converted to offline during a trip by the driver just as card trips cannot be converted to cash based on driver's request. If such situation arises, it is only the covered distance (that is if any) that will be recorded and receipted for by Taxify. Whatever that transpires between the two parties afterwards is strictly at their own risk. In the nutshell, no offline trip can be done without the consent of the rider. Taxify cannot be dragged into this as they have backlog issues to trash.

Keep quiet and stop disgracing yourself here. The pole we are talking about here is the one that carries power to every home and it is usually 220-230 volts and it is known know as low voltage line. It gets its supply from transformer. If 415 volts is sent into your apartment how do you step it down. Maybe your China made stabilzer I think. Instead of asking question to learn you are here messing your self.

the electric is your house has a low voltage to instantly shock a full grown man Dead unless it is triggered by the water factor which is a good conductor of electricity

Point of correction. The voltage of electricity in your house is the same as the one on the pole. Both can kill anybody instantly. The difference between them is the size of cable through which they are traveling. Don't underestimate or over familiarize yourself with the one in house. Never make that mistake.
Career / Re: Man Electrocuted While Disconnecting Electric Wires In Delta State by Godyke(m): 10:51am On Mar 26, 2018
Another possible cause of his electrocution is the use of aluminum ladder instead of a wooden or fibreglass ladder as seen in the picture. Aluminum is a good conductor of electricity. I can also assure you that the base of that ladder is not insulated thereby exposing the user to direct contact with the ground which act as neutral.
Career / Re: Man Electrocuted While Disconnecting Electric Wires In Delta State by Godyke(m): 10:37am On Mar 26, 2018
The fact that power was restored or not is not enough reason for him to be killed. He simply did not follow standard operating proceedures when working on electricity. He probably did not put on his insulated gloves before touching a live cable. Most disconnections and reconnections are done when there is power on the lines.

I don't see anything wrong with this kind of grazing. As long as it is not in a food crop farm or vegetable garden it is ok. This is just an ordinary green grass. They are even helping to mow the grass from over growing. There are herdsmen and herds of cattle grazing freely near NLNG yard in Bonny Island

Food / Beware! Fake Blue Band Margarine In Circulation by Godyke(m): 8:21am On Mar 16, 2018
I just received this message via WhatsApp about someone who bought the popular Blue Band brand of margarine from a popular supermarket in Abuja. According to her, she and her family had already consumed most of the content for bread spread not until she decided to cook with it. But she was shocked when she discovered that the first little quantity she scooped into a pot of boiling water refused to melt as it common with fat an oil. It was rather floating despite the boiling temperature of the water. She decided to share so we all have to be careful when consuming any butter product and not just Blue Band.

You are a little bit behind.

The Mile 2 jetty was concessioned with the same cinema hall, entertainment, shopping mall, and many other life supporting facilities theme like what they are doing in Oworonshoki.

the concession agreement is build, Operate and Transfer (BOT) bases.

http://businessandmaritimewestafrica.com/maritime-development/lasg-concessions-mile-2-jetty-to-private-operator

Mile 2 and the surrounding areas are actually benefiting more than a lot of communities in Lagos state, they have the Lagos Metro and a 10 lane freeway with BRT and a world-class jetty to follow.

Stay up to date.

Staying update does not end on just what is written for me and you for reading sake and possible applause. Action speak louder. There are so many projects going on at the same time that may not or never be completed by this present administration. All this we know is just to consolidate their grip on the state as the ruling party for fear of possible take over by their rival party. The Badagry express project is moving on a snail speed. The Oshodi transport interchange, the airport road project, the abeokuta Rd the Oshodi BRT track project, the expansion and illumination of the Lekki epe expressway from Abraham Adesanya roundabout to Epe and so on. Why not focus on one and let's see how it goes.

There is an existing jetty at Mile 2 with similar design, abandoned and littered with sunken ferries like a war zone. They should first fix this existing asset and use it as model for any other one. The Mile 2 to CMS routes is what am referring to. Everything should not be about mainland and Victoria Island only.

This is not new na. We Uber and Taxify drivers see riders items in our cars on a daily basis and we go all out of our ways to call them to notify them. We also still take the pain to go look for them to return it to them without expecting anything in return.
