He should be arrested for taking a minor to club. This is a pure case of Child Abuse. How are we sure it was only juice he drank then. |
Unfortunately they did not address the issue of the specifications of how a standard school should be setup and as well as high school fees charged by these private schools. Some of these schools just set up their schools anywhere and anyhow without consideration to safety, space, ventilation, distraction, locations, hygiene, and conduciveness of the environment for sports and other extracurricular activities that make learning complete. And above all the school fees are too exorbitant for the common men who would want to patronize. |
anonimi:Yes everyone involved in the design and approval should be held responsible. Civil engineering like any other engineering calculations and applications is not law where there is always a clause. One plus one remains two. |
SendAbroad:I agree with you. That is also a possibility. But the projections am seeing in that picture is too long to be supported by that building. The other extension may also likely collapse under the heavy weight of those blocks |
MobilityExpress:No no no. Blocks doesn't in anyway act as reinforcement to a building, even if they give way the structure under or above it is still expected to stand. Their sole purpose is to act as a fortified partitioning and coverings. The main strength of building especially storey building is the, foundation type and depth, steel reinforcements and the concrete casting. |
I totally disagree with the theory that this building collapsed as result of substandard materials. Builders and owners of buildings in Ikoyi cannot stoop so low, they are big boys. That building may have collapsed due to structural defect as result of impossible design. Part of the building decking may have been designed without pillar. I am judging from the angle from which I am seeing the picture. |
My questions for the OP are as follow. 1. If the BRT concession is under Primero, what is the business of the present governor and his govt in buying more buses for them. 2. What is the concession agreement between Primero and Lagos state govt. 3. What are the proposed BRT routes in Lagos and how many is already completed for use prior to purchase of these additional buses. (Abule Egba-Oshodi, Yaba-Iddo, Doyin-Okokomaiko routes) comes to mind 4. Is Primero also in charge of these new routes, and if so, is Lagos supposed to buy the buses for them? 5. What is the minimum numbers of buses are they supposed to have in their fleet under the agreement We are aware that that is a plan by the previous governor to float an alternative bus system under the LBSL arrangement with the target of about 5,000 buses out of which only eight hundred have so far been purchased and imported. Out of the 800 already imported only about 300 has been cleared and the rest still at the port. 6.What stops the new governor from clearing the remaining ones and putting them into use instead of involving itself in an already existing concession arrangement 7.What stops the govt to focus on completing the infrastructure been put in place by the former governor for the smooth operation of the LBSL scheme which is statewide project and requires no dedicated lane. I need answer to these burning questions instead of lecturing us the difference between the two bus systems. |
Most people don't know the difference between the physical ID card and the NIN. The most important of the two is the NIN which is a unique identification number for every Nigerian citizen. It is our own version of the social security number which is unique to every citizen whether alive or dead. A foreigner can have a BVN but cannot be entitled to NIN. The physical card is not as relevant as the number. Just register and memorize your number. Afterall you can loose your card and somebody can use it to steal your identity to commit crimes. |
I expected the judge to deviate from the issue at hand and focus on the claim that the son beat up the father. When they have finished treating the son's f**k up, then they can continue with the matter at hand. That alone should have been enough to cause a distraction for the divorce seeking couple to change their mind. |
When will we learn to put our own products first before any other. JAC vehicle whether assembled in Nigeria or overseas is still a foreign product. Let patronise Innoson motors that is fully manufactured in Nigeria Secondly change the caption that says Sanwo Olu donated. He did not donate but rather Lagos state government did. He is just a figure head to commission the donation. He can't even approve the purchase, he can only propose for approval. |
We should learn to always do the right thing and the right ways. This is phone section, why post television sales here. Carry your TV and go to technology market and stop distracting us. |
The title of this thread should have been, 'Man disguised as an evangelist to steal phones'. No real evangelist can do such |
You can change the frame but the picture remain the same. |
laudate:That is not a problem, because these are men of God who operates three individual TV stations namely Oracle TV, Powerline TV and RHEMA TV. Their numbers are boldly displayed on the screen for everyone to see. 08034393491 is the number for this particular Prophet. In case you also need the address on how to locate the church here is it. Rhema Cathedral Nnewi, Oba - along New Road Close to Akabo-Ukwu Junction, Uruagu Nnewi., Nnewi Anambra State. |
Why open a new account when there are already existing accounts. Does account have limit for funds it can accommodate? If Lagos is truely the pacesetter or model state in Nigeria as they claim how come it does not operate TSA. |
This man of God, Barrister Ejike Nwachukwu being referred to here as a pastor is an understatement. He is a PROPHET with precise and accurate prophetic ministry just like his two other blood brothers, Dr Anene Nwachukwu and PROPHET Chigozie Nwachukwu. These men are God's general and too blessed to be moved by material things such as to compromise the calling of God in their lives. They head the main branches of RHEMA DELIVERANCE MINISTRY situated in Lagos, Abuja and Nnewi which their father Dr. Arthur Nwachukwu happens to be the Bishop and General Overseer. Go read more about these no nonsense men of God and find out more about them. For those of you still doubting should watch them on RHEMA TV or Oracle TV on MYTV FTA satellite channels. If after watching and nothing still happens to you , then you need to visit any of the branches closest to you for deliverance. |
He said LASTMA does not impose fine but issue offenders referral notice to appear in court with the stipulated fines and penalties. Why then do they still receive money from those motorists, who accepted guilt for their offence. By so doing are they not also acting the judge and jury in their own case? and to which account is the money been paid to? They are guilty as charged. |
Shady355:Please interpret, nitori emi ko gbo yoruba. |
The same thing was said about facebook when they started. Now that it has come to stay, nobody is talking about it anymore. Now it is faceapp's turn. I believe somebody is paying heavily to sponsor this smear campaign |

There is no such thing as solar TV. What we have is DC TV. Referring to it as solar TV will make look like you can only operate it with solar power. You can as well power it with any 12v AC-DC power-pack adaptor. |
Adakintroy2:Mr Lawyer, may we now say it is also an assumption that the lady died from just misstepping. We are not also supposed to agree that she died from it or that she is actually dead since we were not all there. Next time we will all need to be there to see things for ourselves before concluding in other to avoid this assumption of a thing. |
horllyzee:It is like you don't stay or have not been to Lagos. Even if you do, maybe you don't use these buses to move around Lagos. We are saying these drivers are never patient enough with their passengers. They move their vehicles at the very time your are about stepping out of the bus after stopping to drop off passengers. They won't even allow a boarding passenger to sit before speeding off. |
If you say flaunting only houses and cars as part of your entertainment duties, don't also fail to show us all the dilapidated local primary schools in your village which you have helped to either renovate or rebuild. Don't fail to show us the road to your village, and how many primary health centers have you donated. Show us orphanages you donates to. Show us how you helped put pottable water in your community. How many less privileged is under your scholarship and welfare. How many jobless youth have you empowered to stay out of crime by sponsoring them into one form of trade or the other. We are more interested in the name of your Foundation instead of luxury properties that will soon fade away when you are gone. This is the true definition of success you need to flaunt so you can be an inspiration to other successfull and upcoming successful people. |
Lovelyn451:Who would you prefer to use if you happen to be single and an only child of living parents. Your boyfriend /girlfriend or cousins I believe |
thesicilian:That is not an assumption it is a fact. Do you now what it means to misstep when alighting from a typical Lagos Danfo bus? These drivers are mean, rude, impatient and does not care about the safety of their passengers because they are always in a hurry to meet up with whatsoever they are chasing or chasing them. Why is this not so with corporate staff and private buses? |
The question now is, when we're these buildings marked as defective before commencing this demolition exercise. Isn't there supposed to be a timeline for notification prior to demolition so the inhabitants or owners can make adequate preparation to relocate and rescue some valuable part of the building for reuse or sale. I don't just understand what is going on here. |
Night work, an opportunity to do shuddy work. What am seeing in those pictures is like scratching the surface. Lagos roads need real overhauling. Anything worth doing is worth doing well once and for all. |
pole:Modern boats for what? What do you think is the purpose of those canoes in the first place. Fishing in shallow waters and lakes requires canoes like this and not outboard engine boats that they will not be able to maintain and end up being abandoned due to lack of maintenance |
We should stop blaming the chairman for this noble act. The canoes may have been donated based on preference and request. Canoes are mostly used for fishing and not basically for transportation purpose. What do you think will happen if they are given motor boats and them not be able to maintain it? |
Most people blame substandard materials as the main cause for incidence like this but fail to consider poor workmanship. There is no such thing as substandard materials, but poor application of the materials by not following the standard building procedures. These procedures may include load calculation, foundation designs and depth, reinforcement sizes, quantity and spacing and as well time allowed for concrete to cure in the case if decking. Concrete mix ratio could also be a factor which all amount to cutting corners. |
$150, that is like 54k for ordinary goat. I reject am in Jesus name. |
