"Our" if I keep praying selfishly for myself i may end up being very selfish

But it is called intercession done out of love for others, even your enemies pray for them.

No it is not just my business to know the identity of Jesus. Salvation depends on it, it doesn't matter how you feel if it is not based on the truth of God's word it is a lie.
You are dodging the question? Do you believe Jesus is the uncreated Son of God?
I have already told you, I don't believe your nonsense

I believe in Jesus the son of God, who was born and died and on the third day rose

Keep your mysteries depths to yaself.

Stop asking me if I believe in your own imagined Jesus

you didn't answer all the question.
What do you mean by Jesus is the beginning but the father is before the beginning?
If your righteousness is like a filthy rag how do you now trust in your righteousness?
Do know that the righteousness through faith is not gotten by performance but a gift to those who believe in God's salvation.
Self righteousness is exactly what you are trusting.
Faith in Jesus leads to good works and holiness because faith in Jesus it includes following his leadership due to trust in him instead of trusting our performance in other words we do righteousness but we don't put our faith on our performance but on the Lord Jesus.
Answer which questions? ๐Ÿ˜’

Nevermind, no be exam, I don't have to answer ๐Ÿ˜

If you believe Jesus is uncreated that's your business, it doesn't change that he is the son of God.

If anyone keeps telling themselves that they believe in Jesus, calling him Lord Lord, without righteous and obedience, na him go still tell them get away from me you workers of iniquity for you have not done the will of my Father.

They are one and united in will.

God-the-father makes all the decisions, they are encrypted or entained in his word and done or carried out by the spirit.

Without the word, nothing can be done..
And without the spirit nothing can be done.

They are not equal in power, and their method of operation is different. In otherwords, the way the spirit would do something is different from how the father would do it.

You need to work with God personally for you to understand.
okay so why this response?
Religion / Re: I No Longer Go To Church On Sundays, I'd Rather Watch Religious Programs On Tv by gohf: 11:49am On Apr 07
Firefly2017:
So for some years now I don't go for Sunday services regularly, reason being that I always come back feeling empty and unfilled, however, I prefer to watch these American pastors on TV and I must say I have grown a lot spiritually and I can confidently say I'm a better person for it, I truly understand the Gospel and the essence of this life from listening to these men of God.
Their way of teaching the Gospel is totally different from our African pastors who focus only on prosperity, without teaching on how to connect with God by the way you live your daily life.
And truly I do not feel any guilt or burden in my heart for stopping church as I eagerly look forward to spending time listening to these men of God on TV every weekend.

My question now is, I'm I wrong for not going to church on Sundays, since it is written, to not forsake the gathering of belivers
when you are in pain and need encouragement who will come to you, will it be the man on TV, will he pass through the TV and come to you.

Ministry is for we ministers to equip those we minister to, to be of service to the body of Christ and new believers.

The question is, what do you do after listening to televised or online messages?

Why are youths running away from Holiness Preaching Churches?
how does one define "holiness preaching church"

Well I do believe some church were founded in an earlier and different generation and some of them have adjusted. Some modern churches still seek righteousness and are after holy lives but give room to accommodate a generation born in an age where sin is celebrated.

Honestly it would be wonderful if prostitutes, 419s here the gospel and repent. That's probably why they are allowed to attend. Do you even know what it means for a sinner to sit and listen. I guess it's sad that most don't even listen to the true gospel when they give the opportunity to hear the gospel.

Not true...the truth still attracts
No one loves to be deceived.
Youth or people know where to turn to if they need the truth.
Gbile Akanni preaches the truth and many still listen to him.

For instance, if you call yourself a holiness preacher but supports a rogue during election. No one will take you serious.
Or you call yourself a holiness preacher and most of your pastors are not transformed, which truth-seeking youth will be serious with you?

The bad ones are only running to places where they'd enjoy the sin you are cloaking.

Howbeit, when they encounter the truth, they'd stay or refuse to be deceived by anything substandard.
Gbile Akanni worth hearing and following ๐Ÿ˜Ž

shortgun:

1. The verse is talking about the resurrection of Christ in spirit before his resurrection in the body, what he did in the spirit form.
2. The word "preach" in the Bible does not always mean spreading the gospel, it also means to proclaim, teach, address and to speak.
3.The eight people talked about was Noah, his wife, his sons and his son's wives....they are exactly 8 in number
lmao ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ is this an attempt not to accept the response i gave.

Everyone will pass through hell to get to heaven that is what is in the Bible but most preachers don't teach it you will be purged for the sins you committed on earth as soon as you are purified you will be admitted and welcome by your heavenly father the degree of your punishments is according to your sins .....Even our Lord Jesus went to hell for 3 days so if you are a very bad guy you will last longer than an average sinner the Bible said for all have sinned and fallen short of God's Glory ....it also state that nothing unclean shall see God's Glory ....even further our Righteousness is like a filthy rag in God's eyes so there has to be a system to purify the soul of man it dose not matter the religion you practice the only thing that can purify man's soul is Fire so we can walk inthe streets of Gold but from here na Fire direct

There are things said here that are so true, not completely but closer to the truth.

But people have become too religious even Christians who have turned Jesus into a religion, of belief without understanding nor obedience.

The souls don't go anywhere, they simply become inactive and sleep at death.
What many refer to as soul is the breath of God which returns to him when someone dies.

1Pet.3.19 So he went and preached to the spirits in prison--
1Pet.3.20 those who disobeyed God long ago when God waited patiently while Noah was building his boat. Only eight people were saved from drowning in that terrible flood.

The hellfire doctrine is a satanic lie that paints God as a cruel, heartless and wicked being.

Instead of drawing us closer to God, it actually separate us from him.

God gave us freewill and wants us to serve him out of love for him..... And not because of a morbid fear of being burnt alive.
lol hellfire doctrine

Well Jesus did go about preaching Repent for the kingdom of God is at hand

He wasn't saying repent for hell is real

But He and John did say, "flee from the coming wrath" also Peter's first recorded message in acts.

Well none of God's children will go to hell, not sure if that's counts as an uncruel God to some so.

Happy sunday.

The bible talks about hell and death been cast into the lake of fire.(Rev20:13-15)
This means every unsaved person is going to be swimming in fire for all eternity.

What about people who were unlucky to exist before the gospel got to their location? E.g people who lived and died before the gospel got to Nigeria.

What about most people in countries e.g north korea and other such countries who have little to no knowledge about christ?

What of people who were unfortunate(they're all going to hell) to be born into say islam, budhism, hinduism and other religious movements? You might say these people should simply convert to christianity just by hearing the gospel, but switching religion isn't that simple. They are plugged to their faith the same way you have been indoctrinated and plugged to yours.

What about other sects of christianity that aren't getting it right?

Are all of this people going to be thrown into the lake of fire recieving same punishment as shekau or Hitler for all eternity?
I have the answer but it's but it will take time because you may demand proof of what I am saying. So if you really what to hear the answer. We can chat on WhatsApp

There's a reason Nigeria is in lower numbers of top 100 hopelessness among countries in the world. Even with the state of our country. It is simply because MANY have hope in God not in our country.

That's the benefit of the gospel and the word of God. It makes us have Christ in us, our hope for resurrection, glory and eternal life

I used to be a staunch church goer but gradually lost interest and always find one excuse or the other not to attend church service.

I actually lost interest when a certain young pastor was on my neck to date him, so it got to a point I had to stop attending service and ever since I've not been able to pick up.

How do I reawaken the zeal?

It's what the gate of hope fellowship is for

Hosea 2:14-16

God will restore you to himself, as long as you haven't backslided, you repent, you retreat and you will be restored.
