This lie called pre tribulation rapture that men of goat, preach because they are not of God, is a false doctrine that misleads people. Jesus never taught such neither his apostles. That Jesus they are looking for is the Antichrist that claims to be god that must appear first. Be wise and not follow the deceptions of devil |
The sinner's prayer, as we know it today, was invented by twentieth century preachers as a quick and easy way to save people. Unfortunately, it is a false doctrine. large crusades became popular resulting in denominational preachers desiring a simple way for hundreds of people to be simultaneously saved within just a few minutes. So, preachers began asking people to come to the front and pray a prayer to be saved. By praying the prayer, people were led to believe they were forgiven of their sins and saved. This prayer soon developed into what is called the sinner's prayer today. Every year millions of people are being told to say the sinner's prayer and they will be saved. Is the sinner's prayer a biblical way of salvation? If so, where is it found in the Bible? Although multitudes of people say the sinner's prayer as a means of salvation, the shocking truth is THE SINNER'S PRAYER is not even found in the Bible one time! The sinner's prayer usually goes something like this: "Heavenly Father, I know that I am a sinner and that I deserve to go to hell. I believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross for my sins. I do now receive him as my Lord and personal Savior. I promise to serve you to the best of my ability. Please save me. In Jesus' name, Amen." Which usually ends with if you have said this prayer and you believe you have been forgiven, congratulations or glory hallelujah you have been saved and are born again. But when we look at the first recorded mass evangelism or crusade, ministeree by Peter as recorded in Acts 2, Peter didn't lead them to a prayer for salvation, a prayer some believe as long as they say it on their deathbed they would be saved. Acts.2.37 - 38 Now when they heard this, they were cut to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, "Men and brethren, what shall we do?" Then Peter said to them, "Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. The Gospel is about repentance not an altar call or a quick fix method. Giving your life you Jesus isn't as simple as declaring a few words it's about surrendering all and forsaking all, your whole life is your whole life, ask yourself are those words your whole life. Saying you surrender doesn't mean you have surrendered. (Matt. 21:28-32) |
But each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own desires and enticed. Then, when desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, brings forth death. James 1:14-15 |
This man has come again with his teaching you to be a god. Being holy like God is being good like God, it's doing good like Him and being righteous not speaking like God, wasn't that guy Herod who spoke like God eaten alive by worms. The way he evaluates his own righteous of faith by lying that you have what you do not have is different from how Jesus evaluated great faith in believing that you will receive from God despite the difficulty or impossibility of the situation. The man hoped that Jesus would only just speak a word, the woman hoped for a healing even though she was referred to has a dog, to these ones Jesus said that had great faith rare even in Israel. For faith is the evidence of what you hope for. This is not faith: [s]The righteousness of faith doesn’t say, “I hope one day I’ll be healed or helped.” No! Rather, it says, “I have and walk in divine health, and I’m marvellously helped of the Lord.” The righteousness of faith calls things that are not as though they were; it speaks reality, and the Word of God is the reality.[/s] We are not God, it is God who speaks things that be not and they be Faith doesn't come from us speaking it comes from us hearing what God has said. And from it we have hope and we trust God, a hope that doesn't fail, what is faith without hope, a hope we do not see a hope that saves us those who believe. Faith is not a lie, it is an evidence that you have heard from God, an evidence which is you acting in obedience to your believe in God. The believe that Jesus is the son of God and brings us healing and deliverance to all, that Jesus is the word of God that doesn't return void. That all we need is a word from him directly to our lives. |
Emusan:Did Moses record that in the beginning God first created the heavens and the earth or did you read that the first thing God created was the heavens and the earth? I know it's hard for you emusan to be honest but try and answer honestly please |
The one truth we need |
Westerhoffe:exactly as proverbs 8 puts it, he was the first of God's creation, first work brought forth by God |
chiedu7:and? Is that what is written in Hebrew or what does versions interpreted? |
epfa:what are you talking about? You are quoting the wrong post or person. Did I write anything about Jephthah? |
Mark one of the first gospels if not the very first one written Mark.8.34 - 38 When He had called the people to Himself, with His disciples also, He said to them, "Whoever desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me. For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake and the gospel's will save it. For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul? For whoever is ashamed of Me and My words in this adulterous and sinful generation, of him the Son of Man also will be ashamed when He comes in the glory of His Father with the holy angels." How important this teaching is, concerning following Jesus and how to follow him. Because it is those who follow Jesus, who went to the cross, who follow him carrying their own crosses that are saved, resurrected and receive eternal life. John.12.25 - 26 He who loves his life will lose it, and he who hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life. If anyone serves Me, let him follow Me; and where I am, there My servant will be also. If anyone serves Me, him My Father will honor. |
Looking at the context and content of each Gospel what more do we learn about this teaching of Jesus: Matt.10.37 - 39 He who loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me. And he who loves son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me. And he who does not take his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of Me. He who finds his life will lose it, and he who loses his life for My sake will find it. The same is repeated when Peter didn't want Jesus to die, like who would want their friend to die or for they themselves to die, to which Jesus replied Matt.16.23 - 26 But He turned and said to Peter, "Get behind Me, Satan! You are an offense to Me, for you are not mindful of the things of God, but the things of men." Then Jesus said to His disciples, "If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me. For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will find for For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul? What do you love more than Jesus, what must you let go, in this instance hope we realize that our earthly life, family and friends are not bad things but they are part of what we must forsake to follow Jesus. Let's look at Luke, I didn't mention this verse in the last post it's the same with Matt 16 Luke.9.23 - 25 Then He said to them all, "If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me. For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will save it. For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and is himself destroyed or lost? Now in Like 17 while Jesus spoke about the coming of the kingdom of God, in verses Luke.17.33 - Whoever seeks to save his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life will preserve it. After speaking about Noah and lot, it goes to show us that this verse is connected to our salvation, even going further to mention the one will be taken one will be left Luke.17.34 - I tell you, in that night there will be two men in one bed: the one will be taken and the other will be left. So those who will be left are those who love the world and their lives |
Someone may ask with how different the four records of the Gospel are, how genuine are they, especially with how different and debated the fourth one, the Gospel of John is which was written decades after the other three and probably wanted to recorded what those ones didn't. You know when people plan to lie, they usually say the exact same words as if rehearsed but if they were witnesses recounting a memory, like a class of students that remembers the teachers words and deeds differently, there will be different recollections of an event that did occur. At least from several witness accounts we can take the most reoccurring statements as what most likely occured. So while the four gospels have some events recorded in common; John the baptist, calling the disciples, feeding the five thousand and the triumphant entry, betrayal, denial, crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus, there is only one teaching that is common in all four gospels. If anything I believe this one common teaching may be the most important that caused John to repeat it in his account of Jesus. Matt.10.39 If you cling to your life, you will lose it; but if you give it up for me, you will find it. (NLT) Matt.16.25 If you try to keep your life for yourself, you will lose it. But if you give up your life for me, you will find true life. (NLT) Luke.17.33 Whoever clings to this life will lose it, and whoever loses this life will save it. (NLT) Mark.8.35 If you try to keep your life for yourself, you will lose it. But if you give up your life for my sake and for the sake of the Good News, you will find true life. (NLT) These verses are the one verse repeated again out of all his recorded teachings in the whole Gospel of John in chapter 12 John.12.25 Those who love their life in this world will lose it. Those who despise their life in this world will keep it for eternal life. (NLT) These verses in them self are not the whole teaching but they go to highlight a very important teaching that reminds me of an overcoming phrase from revelation. Rev.12.11 They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death. (NIV) Using New living translation Rev.12.11 And they have defeated him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of their testimony. And they were not afraid to die. (NLT) What do you understand by this common verse? For me it's truly a verse that summarizing his expectation from us as believers and children of God, for we have not been given the spirit of fear but of love that we love God and not the world.

Westerhoffe:Daniel 7 SON OF MAN who came to the Ancient of Days, the one true God, and was brought before the one true God. Psalm 45:6 that the author Hebrews is quoting was not spoken by God but by the pslamist who was glorifying God's throne and not even God himself but the throne which is forever and forever, meaning the dominion of God is everlasting, in which he then refers to the scepter who is the Messiah has first prophecied by their forefather Jacob/Israel. God did not call Jesus God and He never lied when He said He alone is God and there is none like Him God says repeated He alone stretched out the heavens and laid the foundation of the earth. God is the builder, the farmer and Christ is the vine, the cornerstone like Daniel saw, cut out from the mountain. God said I formed the light, God said let there be light and there was light. John records Jesus said I am the light of the world, John the Baptist came to testify of that light. Jesus the one who holds all things together, the foundation. Except you wish to say that Jesus is none of these and God isn't the origin of Jesus, me while Micah says that Jesus comes from ancient of days. God said to the serpent, God spoke, the seed of the woman shall crush thy head. |
If a machine is feed lies it would vomit those same lies |
You may have heard love the sinner but not the sin, but I tell you the love you give to an unrepentant sinner should be the one given to those who hate you, a love in which you do not become like them not become one with them |
God's word became Jesus the son of God, and only by His word can we become children of God. The same process that made the Messiah the first resurrected of the dead, the eternal king, is the same process and power that works with us to make us like he is, children of God and give us eternal life. God created the earth and it was dark But God said let there be light and there was light God isn't done with you, your life may be in darkness but let God's word speak life and light in you and through you |
Our faithful tithers hope you paid your tithes to God's children 👶👧👦 |
If Jesus was already co-God why did the angels need to be commanded to worship him 🤷♀️ |
Devil knows no one has seen God so playing God is what he likes to do, so learn to test all spirits even the ones sent by God, test their nature, test their message, find their purpose before you find yourself been used by demons unknowingly |
Lol if firstborn means supremeruler then can we also say that God is firstborn 🤣 or that those of us who are firstborns are rulers 😂😹 Lol agents of darkness keep roaming around looking for whom to destroy, telling you that no one in the universe has God's nature, expect their god the son |
To worship God is to submit to God, to worship any other is to submit to them, so worship none other as God. The level of submission we give to God should remain the highest and the greatest, He should be above all in our lives, be is our leaders, Lords and even husbands. |
If they don't brainwash the AI, watch how most of what they say wont have Bible references, lol it would be funny, like Becky eneche you will return to zero if you don't tithe, scene where AI is booting or they turn it off 😂🤣😹 |
Where should they look their best to before, if not before the most important being in the universe. If you want to see important people in your Nation or locality will you not wear your best inside and outside |
SeriouslySense:the Holy Spirit aid your understanding and teach you more in Jesus name. What you have written in simple words is right Let me share with you from 2 Corinthians 1 2Cor.1.3 - 4 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God. The God of all comfort is not another God, He is the one true God, the only God who comforts us in our troubles. Now how can those who have all things be in trouble? Or maybe the comfort is giving all things to those who are in trouble so that they can comfort others in trouble by giving them things as well, the things we received from God. If that is so, then what are these things we receive from God that comforts us, are they money, stuffs, so that when we receive them we can also share them 2Cor.1.5 For just as the sufferings of Christ flow over into our lives, so also through Christ our comfort overflows. So through Christ we suffer and through him we receive comfort Why should we suffer in the first place 2Cor.1.6 - 7 So when we are weighed down with troubles, it is for your benefit and salvation! For when God comforts us, it is so that we, in turn, can be an encouragement to you. Then you can patiently endure the same things we suffer. We are confident that as you share in suffering, you will also share God's comfort. But still we have to ask, what is this comfort that comes from God through Christ Jesus. Verses 8-11 may mean the comfort is God deliverance, especially from deadly situations as He has delivered us from the great death. Deliverance because they helped in prayers Then Paul writing concerning the message they preached, which isn't double standard of yes and no 2Cor.1.18-19 But as surely as God is faithful, our message to you is not "Yes" and "No." For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who was preached among you by me and Silas and Timothy, was not "Yes" and "No," but in him it has always been "Yes." Therefore God's promises in the Gospel are yes and amen Because what God says he will do He will do But well Paul, who had planned to see them 2Cor.1.17 You may be asking why I changed my plan. Hadn't I made up my mind yet? Or am I like people of the world who say yes when they really mean no? (NLT) 2Cor.1.17 When I planned this, did I do it lightly? Or do I make my plans in a worldly manner so that in the same breath I say, "Yes, yes" and "No, no"? (NIV) But unlike God, Paul is human, things happen 2Cor.1.23 Now I call upon God as my witness that I am telling the truth. The reason I didn't return to Corinth was to spare you from a severe rebuke. |
irrelevant:and Jesus also said in Mark.12.27 He is not the God of the dead, but of the living. You are badly mistaken!" and recorded by Matthew in Matt.22.32 'I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob'? He is not the God of the dead but of the living." (ALL) so is Abraham, Isaac and Jacob not dead? If they are to you, how come God is still their God, when He is not the God of the dead? |
wellmax:exactly, she could control a king, a kingdom and pull down prophets... she wasn't ordinary |
cutecommend:like putting on make up and planning to bewitch him, makes sense why he ran and didn't even Elisha avoid Rev.2.20 Nevertheless I have a few things against you, because you allow that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess, to teach and seduce My servants to commit sexual immorality and eat things sacrificed to idols. (ALL) 1Thess.5.22 Abstain from all appearance of evil. |
solar007:why should any man who wasn't sent by God even mount a pulpit for 5secs self But crowd engagement doesn't even mean they were sent by God as well, because a person can engage the audience for long doesn't mean they were not speaking from their ego and self |
Baileyz101:if you feed well for one week as regularly as possible it would be different from someone drinking only tea once a day for even a year |
brain54:lol standard, some classes last more than 1hr, some seminars have teachers take us for longer than one hour. The issue is most people's attention span has severely dropped, they mentally get distracted by devilish thoughts like what else they could be doing now. Sermons shouldnt be too long sha so people can even remember what they heard but even when it's 30mins or less same set that get tired of a long Bible class wouldn't even remember what was taught in 30mins. I don't think the time for a message should be determined by those that really don't care about the message it's self, there should be freedom for people to leave when they are tired of pretending to be in that meeting 😁😀 |
seunlayi:did Jesus not teach for three days though? If to you God's word is food, you eat till you are full and leave others who wish to remain Mark.6.34 And Jesus, when He came out, saw a great multitude and was moved with compassion for them, because they were like sheep not having a shepherd. So He began to teach them many things. (Matt 15:32 says it was for three days, even if it's was a whole day self to some of us that's already too long) |
