This can be infered from 1 Corinthians 10:13 - No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, He will also provide an escape, so that you can stand up under it. Though we know many believers did go through much temptations more than what is common to man like Job and few others.

First off 1 Corinthians 10:13 wasn't referring to everyone but to YOU, a specific people Paul was writing to. Those who have been freed from the power of sin and have in them he who is greater than he that is in the world.
