Osayi has no end product. Wasn't particularly terrible yesterday but doesn't offer anything long term. Chukwueze aimless dribbles that don't deliver when it matters most. I've seen this movie many times to know we need desperate upgrades to Samu. Ndidi I like him but he's washed. The fact that we were able to get to the AFCON finals without missing his absence says that much.

Midfield over the past years post Mikel can't retain possession, make low level African teams midfield look like Spain, can't deliver defense splitting passes or score long rangers to save their lives. Really makes you appreciate the work Mikel, Etebo, and Onazi put in. Can't remember them ever struggling to impose their game on less gifted midfields. Even facing superior ones they gave as good as they got.

Don't blame Eric for trusting his captain just unfortunate Ekong choose now of all times to drop a stinker.

Our midfield has been our weakest link for years now but with folks like bashiru and Uche I think we can still savage things. If Iwobi will play better from the wings there’s no point keeping him in his current position, just move him there as it’s becoming a waste of space and value. We need a leader in the middle of the pack to truly unlock defences and take the game by the neck. Enough of kasongo teams in Africa taking charge of our midfield for greater part of our games. It’s costing us decent results.

The ref watched as our players were kicked here and there helplessly which made our coach go mad and got booked in a final game that was supposed to be fair in the highest standard. Even in the Libyan issue if not for Ekong voicing out to the entire world that caught FIFA attention that match would have been awarded to Libya as their players were already in the stadium to walk over us.

We never see anything make we continue to assume we go win Afcon or qualify again for World Cup without ensuring there is fairness and level playing ground for all!

So where were these two matches supposed to be played , in a school field in Lesotho or a cricket field in Harare?

It's pretty much accepted as standard and normal that when all the countries bordering SA play Fifa matches ,they all use SA as their homeground....whether playing SA or any other team ....it didn't start during this tournament, it has always been like that. So there's no conspiracy here .....it just so happens to work in SA's favour at this crucial tournament.
SA didn't cheat ; we used our advantages to get what we want( investing in our local league and infrastructure) ,and you failed to use yours. ( having experienced international players and your previous records ) ...that's it . You failed to execute your duties and we capitalized on it.....and the rest is history 💁‍♂️

Benin does not share border with Ivory Coast where they play their home matches so rest! This is a big time conspiracy

How can someone claim to be a citizen of another country in less than 10 years?? Citizen o... Citizenship na yam or beans? ILR is what matters, they can shift citizenship to 20 years if they wish. It'll reduce this anti-immigration hullabaloo.

Guy if you enter US with a green card today you can apply for citizenship after 5 years, if you enter Canada today with PR you can apply after 3 years, Canada is even more interesting cos if you have been there as a student or any other visa and had spent 3 years already once you get you PR the next day sef you can apply for citizenship as they count all those other years on previous visas so let’s always cross check properly before we think the Uk is doing one huge thing that’s not done elsewhere.

Citizenship is not the issue here it’s the benefits you can access from the day you have your ilr that’s the headache as the Uk is broke and many feel it will become more of a burden as more people attain ilr so please separate the issues properly cos that’s the problem in this country as everything get muddled together to confuse and misinform people. And as for those who say they don’t want benefits if they get ilr it has nothing to do with you but the laws and statues of the land where you dwell as we have so many categories of immigrants so be careful how you isolate yourself cos the country itself does not isolate you in any way to define what to give or grant you in terms of rights and privileges. In summary citizenship is not even mandatory and there is no compulsion to have it immediately after ilr and so many are in this country with just ilr for so many years while they maintain the citizenship of where they come from.
