lbrichman2: I disagree Chelle handled this game well SA players were ready to die today They obviously wanted it more But Chelle did well Do you realize apart from the own goal, SA didn't have any clear cut chance?
I also didn't understand why he started fisayo But that decision was justified..
If Chelle has started our world Cup qualifiers, I'm 100% sure we would have topped out group Am not one of those blaming any coach o! Chelle has done his best in the wcq. 13 points is what we would have had now but for the carelessness of the players against Zimbabwe. No matter which coach you appoint if our players are not taking enough responsibility these are the kind of results we will continue to get |

mank1234: Na hand I use before. Chelle has no blame in this. This qualifier was lost after 4 games. He only came on remedial mission and didn't do badly.
I don't single out players for blame but our previous saviour: Ekong failed us. Today's game: Remove 2 points from RSA and add 2 to Nigeria's own. Against Zimbabwe: add 2 points to ours again and see where we would have been. This is how the table would have looked like without those errors: RSA 16pts Nig 15pts It’s sad we threw this away, that Zimbabwe match was a killer, two precious points flew out in mins. The players are to be blamed those who keep blaming the coach I don’t understand |

QueenJazz: I made this comment about 4 hours before kick-off and that's exactly what happened during the last 20 minutes of the game. Good build up, atrocious finishing. We don’t have a leader whether in the attack or midfield someone who can take the game by the neck. Our players need to be more responsible |

QueenJazz: I think it's dying minute pressure. Chelle should have started him, Chukwueze and Tolu to be honest.
South Africa actually looked much much worse in the first half. They grew into the game. Especially after Ekong's howler. That gave them confidence, these guys are still scared of us na we Dey fumble |

mostob: Iwobi needs to up his game. With Lookman and Simon drifting to the left, the responsibility majorly falls on him to quickly switch attack to the right where Fisayo is waiting with acres of space around him. I can count like 3 scenarios in the last 15 minutes of the first half where he chose to pass the ball to Simon.
BTW, Tolu needs to come in for Dessers please. And one of Simon/Lookman should go out for Uche. We need more body in midfield. This has been one of my major points earlier today but hey some will say you’re singling him out |

BankyGee: Osimhen don sha suffer for Nigerians hand. When you're big you should expect things like this. Funny lots.
If he no come, dem go say he no come, na so he dey do. If he come, he no put body, them go say he dey avoid injuries, he doesn't play for the badge. Now clean rough challenge wey all of us watch just two days ago, them say he dey fake injuries.
That guy strong sha... Funny country. Even on the bench after being taken off he was still limping and urging the boys on. But na button some people Dey press, so if we no win today excuse don Dey. Na so the saga with Finidi start. Win or lose today our World Cup dreams is already in jeopardy and did not start today so make everyone cool down and focus on better things, life and naija football will continue whether we are in the World Cup or not. As for Osihmen though I want him to break Yekini record but if he wants out of the national team for his sanity abeg make e retire so this cycle of unnecessary distractions can stop cos I bet this matter fit drag on except we win today and hoping this is not fake news cos it will be unfortunate. |

TheLoneCitizen: Asamoah Gyan on Victor Osimhen's injury;
"I know these tricks. Someone told Osimhen, 'Look, we've spent a lot of money on you. The Champions League is coming up, we don't like you going to Africa, but go there, play a bit, then get injured, lie on the ground, and act like it's serious. The next day, you'll be in Turkey.'
You'll see Osimhen running fresh in the Turkish Super Lig and the Champions League. No matter how many times he's kicked there, he won't stay down on the ground. The doctors are in on it too! The euro is more valuable currency than the naira!" Na which kind talk be this 😂 na banter abi na jab? |

AgentXxx: Please learn to negotiate in this Uk especially with Insurance companies.
My story in summary. Started driving last year and got a 10yrs NCD from Nigeria and only Marshmallow would accept it which I got an annual package for £1,150 which was good for me, Fast forward to this year, I got a quote for £1,415, what happen? I messaged them and through interaction, I told them i moved address which was literally 4 streets away, that is how they said it is more expensive to insure me on that street and my premium jumps to £1835. Na so I para say I am not doing again that I got an offer for £703 which wasn’t really true, the best I got was £1020.
Long story cut short, I was offer a renewal for £730 with all of my previous cover telling me it s loyalty bonus 🤣. Awon weyrey.
Please don’t sleep on it oo haggle any insurance
Thanks for the pieces of info you have shared on here @Lexus Baba. Hoping to get to £60 premium in couple of years. 😂 thank God you no lose guard! dem wan run you street on top say you change street |

[quote author=Odunayaw post=136736699]This is nothing but a mad joke
I just saw a quote of Broos saying there are better fields in the country. Abeg o, who dig this pit go fall inside
Video of final training: will do everything to win. It's a do-or-die affair for them. Expect more hostilities from them; they may even lock the team inside the hotel to ensure they are late for the game, but this shows they still have this palpable fear of the Eagles. Whether our boys can take advantage of this remains to be seen. |

BankyGee: I get you, but another thing to note is that Iwobi plays more from the wings than the middle, maybe Uche can give us that thing you're talking about, but one thing I'm sure of is that no matter where Iwobi plays from, as long as it's an attacking position, sweet passes dey always find strikers, it's what they do with it at the end that matters.
Look at the through pass Iwobi gave to Dessers two days ago, too clean, but Dessers sent a tame shot to the keeper.
Even our game against Zimbabwe, Iwobi should've had like three assists in that game if not for missed chances from our forwards. No one has his vision in that team, make them leave dribbling for Chukwueze and Uche, but sexy penetration passes and intelligent shadow marking and pressing, leave am for Iwobi.
If not that our left wing is choked, I would've even loved him to play there. Almost all his goals and assists for Fulham too, 80% of them are from the left flank and not the middle, including his assist against Manchester United this season. Very Apt, that’s why he keeps drifting towards the wings leaving gaps in the middle, it’s a problem we need to fix if not his value will continue to be questioned despite his contributions honestly I pity him at times. Cheers bruv! |

BankyGee: He showed that and even more in the last game, no be like say he no dey even do am before, Nigerians no just rate am.
The games he was on the bench against Rwanda in the AFCON qualifiers, we drew one goalless-ly and lost one. Attack looked dead, no passes, no chances creation.
In fact, our equalizer against South Africa in Uyo last year was his assist. Thanks bruv for your mature reply, our midfield too Dey play sideways and it’s becoming annoying especially in the last game we had chances to go thru the middle which would have won us more free kicks or penalties perhaps our boys Dey fear injury. I think Iwobi needs to exploit that more, the one he did he almost got a goal thru that shot on target that the keeper tipped over the bar cos at the end na output and results matter o and no one will argue. He takes these initiatives well at Fulham so why not in the national team, that’s not a very big ask in my opinion. He’s a senior player and he can stamp his authority in the team. I watched an interview with aiyegbeni he said if he plays in this current team he can’t score cos no supply from the midfield he said when he was at Everton Steve pienarr always tell him where to position for him to feed him to score abeg Iwobi needs to take a cue from that. Our midfield needs to upgrade! It looks flat, so called small african teams can’t be running rings around our midfield with the players we have on there, someone needs to lead and that’s my expectations from Iwobi. |

But now u want to deny ur own coment..?? Naah!!. im too smart for that gaslighting game u want play. The guy I responded to mention Iwobi stats in the epl and I said Can we see more in the national team? and I went on to say we can’t continue to blame the coach alone and not ask questions on our players (plural o) your problem is hearing Iwobi name made you concluded I singled him out and it’s what you guys do here so we should demand more from others and not Iwobi Abi? We all complained of our midfield but we shouldn’t mention names, omo you guys are biased. |
