lovewins: Ademola Lookman Expresses Frustration over Atalanta's Block on his Transfer
NB:
For those who constantly tied Osimhen's transfer struggles to attitude, I hope you now see how ridiculous your stance were. Victor didn't even do a public post as frustrating and inciting as the process were. And if you don't still think your stance is ridiculous, at least be consistent and hold Lookman to the same standard.
https://x.com/Alookman_/status/1951969478960664852?t=NPN1_LcmTircQ7T2VItFtg&s=19[/quote]Don’t stress yourself bro, the folks you’re talking about are just haters masquerading as being objective cos their minds are made up. We were all here when Napoli frustrated osihmen move to PSG.
I pray Lookman comes through out of this. Italy has always been a great ground for our players but it’s beginning to look like a gang up against our football. Our APOTYs back to back can’t be deserving of this sheer wickedness! |

charlesemeka85: that excuse of him being abusive because of his issue with Finidi na nonsense
The major reason no big club from Europe’s top 5 leagues didn’t take Osimhen was his wage demand. If Osimhen wages were between 180k-200k one of the top teams would have signed him easily
With the financial terms and clause Napoli had in the contract of sale to Gala no right thinking club in europe top 5 leagues will agree to that
This would have been avoided if Osimhen didn’t renew his contract with Napoli The club were not just willing jare make we no blow grammar! dem no rate am and that’s fine. No need for all the emotions of at this stage of his career he should not go bla bla bla. How you rate a player is the value you’re willing to place on him. Nothing to do with right thinking just value. |

QueenJazz: According to what I usually read on the Premier League subreddit, most of these teams from the top 5 leagues are only willing to break the bank for players who are much younger 9 out of 10 times, because it means they will maximize their potential to the fullest and they will have very high resale value. I'm assuming they see players like Lookman and Osimhen as having shorter stints of being in their peak, since he'll be 30 in 2-3 years. Another thing is injury history (for Osimhen). So that probably explains their conservative bids. Only exception is if the player can fit into the tactical demands of a team in a short term.
I don't completely agree with this sentiment, but given the nuance of transfer deals and the fact that there's a lot that goes on behind the scenes, I think it's the strongest argument I've seen so far if you want to play devil's advocate. 😂 nobody said this when the osihmen transfer saga was on o all we were hearing is bad behaviour, he abused his coach, he made his family suffer, God is not happy with him, he should cut wages and embrace legacy. But let’s continue sha |

I cannot fathom her motives but she will retire (or be retired, more likely) from politics soon enough and we'll see what she does next.
I'm pretty sure she'll carry on with her anti-Nigerian schtick because honestly what else is she known for other than being a culture warrior? Will she continue to attack Nigeria forever? That will be complete insanity. Anyway it will be interesting to see what next after she leaves politics. I just know say she probably miss amala and the likes sha 😂 remember her attack on sandwich or so then, original omo eko no try am o! |

Remember, in the early days when she was running for office she appealed specifically to Nigerians to “support a Nigerian who is trying to improve our national image”. Now she says even when she was in Nigeria (allegedly before she knew she was entitled to UK citizenship), she "never really felt at home there"
I can't remember who the person was that was going to make Kemi their daugher's role model but I really with them luck with explaining who and what Kemi is in the first instance.
Let's continue watching sha. I know this chapter of Olukemi Olufunto badenough (née Adegoke), Defender of Western Civilisation, and her war on Nigeria, will come to an end one day, one way or another. Aunty is only hating on what she actually loves. My wish for her is to retire quickly from govt and politics and restore her Nigerian citizenship (am sure whoever is Nigerian president will surely grant that) so perhaps she can relocate back home and have peace with herself. All those talk of I don’t identify as Nigerian or don’t feel belong is just boju boju. Aunty wants her life as a Nigerian back. It’s glaring! |

Mujtahida: Well, I think as they continue to host they'd learn to be more accommodating. In the meantime CAF needs to set a hard line on the laser thing. It's unacceptable I fear for the upcoming AFCON, especially in the last edition, with the way the Ivorians did all the dirty things as hosts to win in the final by denying lots of Nigerians entry into the stadium, we may have our hands full, especially if the Eagles go all the way. |

Mujtahida: No where in my posts did I say it should be handed to them. Appearing in Two finals is no mean feat. I only expressed my desire that I'd be happy if they win. And God willing they will. Nigeria has hosted Afcon on home soil and lost in the finals, hosted the World U-17 World Cup and lost in the finals too. Morocco should take a chill. I still find the walking out in the APOTY ceremony, where Lookman won, so irritating and childish. They need to show they are indeed a strong soccer nation, but acting like that portrays them as a weak developing soccer nation, and it stinks to the high heavens. |

BankyGee: From condemning one vawulence to unleashing another one.
Lookman na my favourite player too, and right now, what Osimhen did/is doing will make much sense to some of you soon. Know your worth.
Thank God Osimhen did not set a bad precedent. How will you look at a player of Lookman's caliber and offer him €4M? Is that not stupeedeety? In a market where Marmoush that has not achieved anything is earning €15M? The proposed salary no even reach tithe for Marmoush money.
Marmoush doesn't have one single trophy, Lookman pushed his team to win the Europa League and he's being offered this trash. He currently earns €2M per year/€44k per week and his entire career earning is €19M, has he not worked hard enough to earn at least €120k per week?
When person dey talk say dem dey ridicule Nigerian players una say na "yes men", he should cut down from hard earned €240k+ to €90k+ to play in the Premier League.
It's Lookman's choice sha, the main thing na say he pass that trash wey Inter Milan dey offer by far and he'll perform like hell for them. They should do better, if Lookman is white, they won't offer this shrine money. Honestly when I saw this Atalanta rejection of the bid from Inter I just ignore cos I no wan involve my emotions for the matter. Lookman has a British passport perhaps he no too need money or he’s ready to accept anything like an entry level player. I wish him all the best but make nobody gaslight anyone all in the name of he no worth am or he no be mbappe. The way you lay your bed na so you go lie on top |

PrettyPacy: Good evening everyone If anyone have information on how one can get into business analyst intern, volunteering roles and entry level please help with info. A friend came into UK as a junior business analyst gone through some trainings here and completed BCS certification and have been applying, however no job yet. Please please please . Thank you all My honest opinion, if visa sponsorship is not required for now, he or she should start applying for civil service entry level roles like project support and administrative assistant, since these roles are project management related that can be a place to start from. Getting straight BA roles can be tricky these days especially if there’s no prior BA experience here in the uk with a reputable company and there’s this general impression that most people are just attending bootcamps to claim BA experience. So civil service entry level roles can be a good place to start and get some good credibility. |

lovewins: Lookman snub in my opinion is as concerning if not more than Osimhen's. Why is a player who had a background in English football, without known behavioural issues, coming off the best 2 seasons of his career and arguably top 5 in the world at his position and one of the cheapest in the market both by valuation and renumeration still on the market?
What's more annoying is his proposed salary earnings should Inter sign him. How should the African player of the year coming of 2 great seasons be prized at €4M a year and he's still on the market? So we still believe in all these behavioural issues, ish? haba Anyway, where is Oga Quintessential who will come and tell us that whether Lookman is not world class so clubs don't rate him that much, I dey wait |
