You also need to watch the Afcon 2013 semi-final with Mali where the Eagles were playing some tiki-taka kind of football under the same Keshi folks said was playing boring football, our matter hmm na only God fit satisfy us. |

Ola Aina break out run and hacked down just in front of box 18 2. resultant free kick leading to osimhen header and its a goal, but ruled out for offside 3. Moses simon beating and dribbling tru the middle two angolan defenders only to play a weak shot at the keeper 4. Osimhen beaten a defender and player a weak shot 5. Lookmans goal so many many beautiful scoring chances to finish of Angola that day…on the other side Angola just had one ball that hit the bar and Nwabali’s save of mabululu close strike….

Clueless oaf
If we want to talk about DEI being a bad thing, the fact that an unqualified imp like him is president , voted by similar minded people like him should be a concern for how much value we place on qualifications. He’s not near qualified to even be a representative. It was perhaps a strategy to quickly absolve himself of any blame and shift it to somewhere else immediately, the baba no well at all |

zicky: Abeg what faults are you referring to. And is there any player that doesn't have a fault or two.
If you love a player say you love him, which one is despite his faults like he has been in any controversy you are just in a hurry, I never castigated the player, check Emeka's response and compare it to yours, I mentioned faults to balance my point cos many here (am not one of them) have raised their reservations about the player for club and country and not even in a bad light but just areas of concerns and that's where am coming from. It will be a contradiction for me to still go ahead to say how much I love the player cos, unlike others who count their legs when playing for the Eagles Bassey is none of such. Calm down before you throw stones ok? looks like you were looking for a fight where there was none |

jedisco: In other news, a member of the Russell group and the biggest uni in Wales would cut 400 more jobs and close their nursing department. This is despite an increased fee for local students set to come in this year. For perspective, this uni has over 1000 nursing students and Wales is short of over 2000 nurses. In future, I wonder how the government tends to fill roles in nursing which is in shortage around the globe- migration I guess. Sure they said they 'hope' to distribute the numbers but isn't it easier to fund the current structure
Guess who/what is mainly being blamed? International students. I remember being told here that IS contribute only 2% to unis funding and that it'd be mushroom schools and obscure courses affected.
2000 international students might have been all that was needed to keep that department going. They should go and meet Braverman (who is now ready to wash plates for Trump on top Chagos Islands matter) for funding. |

Just like with Trump- many are more interested in humiliating migrants than in lower numbers that's all they have to offer, empty heads with no pragmatic solutions to increase local productivity that advance society. |

Cyberknight: Serious bone of contention there. I've expatriated myself from Nigeria to this country, but I'd argue that the UK does not need the levels of migration it's had over the last few decades. However, its owners do, and that's why once the Tories had turned off the tap of cheap but ultimately-not-cheap labour from eastern Europe/the EU, they quickly turned on the tap of really cheap cheap labour from the rest of the world.
The people who own and run this country need more and more incoming labour to keep wages down and latterly to keep their property values high. That's all it is - venality and self-serving on a par with the lowest office-holder in any given publicly-derided-as-corrupt country. So who do we blame in the end? The same immigrants who didn't force their way in and continue to be objects of political manipulation. |

I thought to myself, "... lad with the potential to be Africa's Ronaldo de lima running to Saudi arabia is not so good for his talent growth curve"
I guess it all just worked out the way it was meant to work out. Just kidding and you're very right, but it's good to see how many of us here still love this player despite firing blanks for the Eagles.
