Advantage to the eagles again, any of these teams we meet apart from playing a day after us has also played extra time. So we may be sharper and fresher when we play on Sunday |

Earthquake2: Nna eh, the demons I saw against Egypt I didn't see them again
Our team is very unpredictable The unpredictability of the eagles is what make them a very dangerous side to other teams. If that etebo freekick had entered against SA, those guys would have collected like 4 goals before the VAR show. Even the Cameroonians will be wondering what hit them after going ahead. After winning afcon in 2017 the were so confident to beat us in the wcq but what happened they were piped 4-nil in uyo to their amazement. On the flip side the eagles are unpredictable negatively, they can make teams like Madagascar and Seychelles look like Brazil and Argentina and lose scandalously. That's the Super Eagles, my wife usually says they are like Chelsea, they can lose scandalously to Burnley this weekend at home and beat man city in their backyard the following weekend. Na so o |

Algeria may go home, that penalty miss may hunt them. This is the problem with teams with 100% record before the knockout stage. They have no benefit of a reality check on time before they go far in a competition |

tbaba1234: When we played them, they were favorites to beat us. They had gone about 18 months unbeaten and were coming off a great WC run.
A lot of Nigerians predicted doom. How was Elderson going to handle Mahrez? etc.. Nigeria seem to do well against teams with European kind of flair. The Algerian defence is also suspect. I noticed this when they played Guinea. Their defence can't cope with our wingers pace, they will concede well against us if we are very clinical like we were during our wcq game with them in uyo However our midfield must maintain their discipline and shape |

TheGoodJoe: Watching Rohr barking at the sidelines showed he is a man that listens. That was what Odegbami asked for, even though I do not feel it is that important, Rohr was able to listen and adapt.
I hope our indigenous talented coaches like Siasia, Amunike and Oliseh can learn some humility from Rohr. I noticed this too. It's obvious the man is in touch with feeling back in Nigeria. When I saw chukwueze in the starting line-up, I said wow, this man fear Nigerians mouth small |

TheGoodJoe: If Rohr must play Musa, he needs to tell Musa to rely more on his run with balls and less on passing. I can see why he chose to dash past the Ireland keeper instead of passing.
Musa needs to make runs towards goal and use his shooting power. don't you guys think he was playing to the coach's instructions? the musa I know can even dribble the entire defence to score like he did against iceland at the world cup. In the first half he had such a chance but he still choose to pass to a chukwueze that was even very far from the box. me think he was playing to instructions and he didn't want to strain his relationship with the coach |

mank1234: The man is really humble. He always explains his decisions.
Some of his speeches are infuriating though, like playing down our chances and the latest one on Onyekuru. that is my grouse against the man, he seems not to understand our giant status as african soccer power house. He's awashed with talents at his disposal but he keep talking down the potentials of our boys. I hope with his experience now at afcon, he is beginning to see things more clearly |

charlesemeka85: Even if Rohr fails to win the afcon he had laid a foundation that will last for a long time and made the team a force to reckon on atleast in African football once again.
If keshi won 4 afcon to me he was the worst mistake that happened to our football Story, story your personal opinion, you can't change history no matter how you try |

somehow: Late Keshi was way better than Rohr.
Qualified 2 countries to the world cup A great motivator Won nations cup
Didn't have the kind of young blood/wingers Rohr currently have.
Some people dey quick forget sha.
How many years did he spend as our coach and how many years has Rohr spent? Pls don't argue with those bashing keshi. Let's wait and see the final outcome of rohr's sojourn before we compare notes. At least both went to the word cup and we all saw for ourselves. Let's allow rohr finish his own tenure first |

timay: A lot of people no like Rohr, they just want to see him fail. That's long and short of the story Not true, we are a great footballing nation and we deserve better results, that is the grouse folks have with rohr, In 2014 world cup we had an indigenous coach who qualified us and took us to the second round. We said he was not sound technically. We now carry oyinbo coach in 2018 and we were knocked out in first round, we are now trying to twist words that he is technically sound, are we truly improving? |

timay: no mind them na
I just dey take corner eye to look at people saying keshi is better because he won Afcon.
Lemme give them another fact.
Do they even know that if Keshi was our coach,we won't even know the likes of Iwobi, Chukwueze, Aina , even their darling Osimhen and Onyekuru.
That is because keshi won't invite them, giving us different mumu excuse. Chukwueze that just played his first professional football won't even get into the provisional list sef, giving us reason that the guy does not have senior team football experience , or he's too young for African football, Chukwueze might have ended up with the U20.
he will only invite his goons from Kano pillar and co. It's unethical to speak ill about the dead. This is wrong. The man is a national hero whether you like it or not. Let rohr even equal his record first before we compare |

TheGoodJoe:

For real, it is like this Rohr took Kai Kai.
When Real Betis beat Barcelona, they became the favourites to win the La Liga. Are you surprised, me I don talk say the man go miss yan before tomorrow and he has not disappointed as usual fear fear coach, no wonder our boys sef dey fear for pitch. Like papa like sons things. The earlier this man go back to his village, the better for us. I was ashamed when the Ugandan analyst on superports said Cameroon was better than us but we just scored to make the difference. Even Larry Kingston before his Ghana was dumped out said Nigeria was getting jittery before the Cameroonians scored and that we should learn from Benin. I said see wetin papa rohr don't turn us into. I pray the Eagles win but won't be a bad idea too if we loose so rohr can go on time cos I can't understand how an omeruo who has played 7 matches at a senior world cup will be still be jittery, Omo na jazz? |
