2.7B naira? Omo Na man u be o! It's funny how we will divert the thread to tribalism! But truth be told, if you've been in an extreme hardship, if better Sapa don hold u for work, to take risk will be the least on your mind! A crime is a crime no doubt, but what if the man was doing it just to change his life once and for all? Unfortunately he was caught, some people u idolized today have done worst things in life, today they are your mentor! Never laugh at a drowning man! Some of u are even stealing at work place, some are stealing from their spouses, some are increasing commodity prices at will! Pastors selling anointing oil, all hustle ba hustle ! In the end Na who they catch we dey laugh at! All of us are sinners abeg

Just be writing rubbish up and down.

He's a criminal who thinks he can become rich overnight by bypassing the narrow way to success.

If he thinks it's because of hard times he has faced, what about handicapped people from poor homes who end up becoming something with their lives?

Just imagine how much these drug traffickers have been making since 1999 when we don’t have this clamp down on them. The main owner of this drugs are somewhere chilling and all this one caught are just transporters. To end this menace, they have to start going after the main men or else you will keep on arresting them daily and they will keep on recruiting.

This Marwa is a legend. I wonder why they haven’t started a campaign of calumny against him.
In due time bro.

They would definitely react.

So, if you see someone on N300,000 per month driving a N2,500,000 car, you will question his wealth because his monthly salary isn't commensurate?
I'm not even going to go there.

A law lecturer in Lagos would have so many ways of making money.

No we expect him to have a house on bordillon.
Im really laughing at you.

As practical as Law is, you expect a lecturer (expert in a field of law) to be poor, in Lagos for that matter.

Na wa oh.

The issue isn't clear, so jumping to conclusion is foolhardy.

In any case, Nigeria is a poor nation.

Anyone thinking otherwise is unprepared to face reality.

Lol you and temitope27 are half-baked investigators. She attended Federal Government College in Ogbomosho.

In Nigeria it's possible to attend secondary in a different state while you are from another state. You are aware of that right?
You don't even understand the subject matter.

Your type is the problem in this country so what options do u want them to follow ?

Instead of you tackling the injustice you here saying what I don't know

They know the implications absolutely and agip can't repair the pipeline without compensation for the spill

I just wonder what's hard in giving people what they want and deserve in this country

Believe me total money they are asking for won't be more than $2 million which is absolutely nothing for agip ...

I don't just get why people are wicked in this country

Allow people control their resources you say no
Allow people police themselves you say no
Allow people collect tax by themselves you say no

Oya let's practice real Republican democracy u say no

When people get up and act u blame them

Are you people humans at all ?

Investment › Re: Nigeria’s Onepipe Raises $3.5M To Double Down On Its Embedded Finance Offering by Golan007: 2:36pm On Nov 24, 2021
thebosstrevor1:
Fyi, most startups in Nigeria aren't owned by Nigerians, they are either registered in the uk or in delaware with Vc owning about 99% or sometimes 100% of the company.

The money VC are giving you are just like loans in exchange for a percentage of your company, the more they put in money, the more your shares get diluted until you have nothing.

At the end of the day, you work for the VC not yourself and if the business gets successful, the VCs win not you.
Guy, your complaint is tiresome.

Venture capitalists are out to make money, yet there are many startups who go on to sell at a profit.

Whilst still being engaged, those who champion the concept are often guaranteed good remuneration, a stake and possibility of cashing out big time.

Contracts are individualistic even if they follow a standardised template.

This happens worldwide.

Lol, you are funny.

You didn't add that the founders own nothing of the business.

The vc now owns the business and can sack the founders
You read the contract?

That is not what they are selling.

There selling point is embedded finance. Which many fintech does already...i hope they survive and not close down.
Their trade secret was not revealed.

They sell embedded finance - yes.

But what makes their's different?

We don't know.

I only gave examples of what might be considered improvements on what already exists in the market.

Believe me, investors do their due diligence way beyond a mere Nairaland post supposes.
