Back to the thread, I really don't see anything worth crying over. I felt this was an educative thread but some guys are taking advantage of the weak points listed by mynd.

anyway, some ladies don't attach any emotion to sex, and that is after they must have really eaten enough baits, I mean a maga buying me a house just for spending the weekend with him (he's buying me cards and taking me shopping + other goodies o! If I'd put it like this "I'm 24(a virgin)" a lot of pple would hav said things like "r u ugly, dumb, unintelligent, blah blah blah........." . Only very few pple answered my question on y virgins r still doubted. Btw, I'm a virgin cos I want to. Personally, I feel sexx is a bond; a connection. @ op, the same will happen if it was a store that sold women. Men will keep searching. it's pure human curiosity and not common to only the females.
Proof: we go to the market even when those things are sold in the street, on getting to the market, we still browse through as many stores as possible and call it market survey etc.
Another proof is a high number of ageing single women and bachelors. some say she don rotten so nobody wan marry am, others say they want a good, homely, descent gal. others say they want a wife not a woman. It all boils down to- every body wants the best

It's not the fault of some of the ladies. I have been married for a few years now while my best friend who has always had nice suitors from 20 yrs is still single. Why? Her parents have drummed it into her for years that her husband must be a millionaire. If she tries to disobey, they threatened to disown and curse her marriage. She has met some great guys but her parents want more. I feel that may be the same with some other ladies out there.

Modesayo: My mom was a staff of Total plc but as a lady in her 20's,I av learnt a lot from her as a person,a mother&a wife..this is a woman that was earning cool money from her oil company job&she had time spending most of d money on us(children)just to make sure we were okay..When the war came,that family members had to settle,she gave up&resigned but she ventured into something else dat was at least paying..even at dat age,we(children)talked to her just for her to stay&dont let d family be torn apart...&am happy she did..Today she has gone abroad twice,all expenses paid by my daddy,celebrated her 50th birthday in an elaborate way that no one could ever imagine&dis is a man(daddy)that never allowed our mom to celebrate ANY birthday.....Marriage has a lot of sacrifices interwined in it.ts love,hurt,care,cries,sacrifices...d only issue IS IT REALLY WORTH IT FOR all the efforts you have put into it....only d woman can answer that?

@pickabeau,:Nobody is saying sacrifices are wrong. But the impression we all got is that she was forced to do them in order to save her marriage, she didn't do it willingly. If she decided to compromise, that would av been a different thing. She was forced. she only stayed cus in the marriage cus of the pleas of her children.

I'd say that woman deserves a medal. Not everybody can give up their happiness for life.

Some men may have this funny notion that he has paid her for making her quit hear dream with those vacations. Unless travelling out has been her dream.

I have always believed marriage to be a platform where 2 people join resources and achieve more together but I am shocked at what some men here are saying. One even told me to always call him "sir" especially before his friends cus Sarah called Abraham "Lord" what the hell? (pls excuse my swear words) . I don't need a man to tell me what to call him, his attitude will determine.
Summary: 1. Education and family background changes a whole lot of things in a man. Sometimes watching his parents nd siblings will give u an idea of what your husby to be really is. Wife beater or destiny helper.
2. How u treat ur wife determines her attitude to you (unless u married the devil himself). I was stubborn while single but looking at myself now, I'm different. A guy I dated slapped me thrice cus d food wasn't ready on time and I didn't get his shoe ready 4 work, I ended up drugging him when he came home from work and beating him to my satisfaction after which I left him. Lol, he cried while I was beating him. That was d old me.
3. U can only change a man in diapers so don't get this funny belief that it will be well after marriage.
4. Don't act or say anything evn when you're angry, after thinking it over, you'll see there's a better and more reasonable way to do things.
5. Marry your friend and always seek elderly advice.

innovation into this year’s Intel International
Science and Engineering Fair, in which she was named one of three winners, earning her a cash prize of $50,000. The technology that she created may even help power electric cars. It’s so sophisticated that, despite keeping tight lips on the ordeal, Khare has been approached by Google, which has shown some serious interest.
As of now, Khare says she plans to use her prize money to help fund her education at Harvard, where she hopes to continue researching her project. But she currently has no plans to sell her technology, though it seems like she is keeping her options open.
As presented at the science fair, her creation
charges an LED, but she says that it is flexible. It can easily adapt so that it can be used in flexible displays and even in fabric. Right now, it can hold 10,000 recharging cycles, which is far better from the standard rechargeable battery, which can only withstand around 1,000. We’re eager to see the day that we can plug our phones in (or just rest them on a wireless charging dock), and less than a minute later, be good to head out the door, worry-free. :-)

but when it comes to productive income that isn't derived from natural resources, the north contributes more to nigerian GDP than any other region followed by SW.
OIL is truly the only thing preventing Nigeria from letting biafra go. other than that, most of Nigeria could care less about igbo people. I'm sure igbos people also don't give a crap about Nigerians.

JaaizTech: I may be wrong but personally i feel south east will be better of remaining with Nigeria. Igbos have always queried what they are benefitting from Nigeria, let me remind them that the huge allocation they receive from FG is largely responsible for whatever their gov. do. Also Igbos benefit a lot from their freedom to do business in all Nigerian cities. without Nigeria things could be harder for Igbo businesses.

Don't forget that the major income of d nation is gotten frm d SE and SS. So if they pull out, they'll go with their natural resources.

Y not. Although I 4got to say that I went on some of those trips before evn being a member of a2w. My dad earns enough travel points for two. On the trips, there have buffets, belly dancing, boat cruise etc
