The truth is Oshiomole helped APC in 2019 but he his stubbornness made him became personal with Obaseki, i know they will soon give him one powerful appointment, probably Niger Delta.... just to be relevant till 2023 but I doubt if APC will survive.

I hope you know mechanical engineering is not all about cars , cars are designed by mostly top notch engineers who specialize in that field . The mechanic depends on the engineer

Same goes with CS. The point is ignorance is the reason for looking down on anyone.

I've noticed a certain trend ; a lot of self taught developers seem to look down on a cs degree after learning just an aspect of computer science.

For example someone who decides to learn backend web development ( which is a subset of cs)by taking an udemy course thinks he has learnt more than a serious minded cs student . They go about saying stuff like :" I didn't study computer science but I can know more than a cs major" but they seem to forget that computer science goes beyond developing websites. To me it's a waste of time of time studying cs just because you want to be a web developer , correct me if I'm wrong but I think that's what boot camps are meant for .

But that doesn't change the fact that some CS majors know nothing , I've come across some CS majors that can't code but that doesn't make a cs degree worthless.
But do you think such people are right ?

I think you should also look at why the CS major student are not making "waves" so that the road side guys can feel inferior or close their mouth.

Answer is "jack of all trade master of none" . You will observe that you were taught every bit of everything during undergraduate, you major in one aspect during postgraduate and so on. However, the road side guy had major in that tiny aspect for the 6-7years you have spent trying to know everything. You will agree with me you cant beat him or her in that tiny field and the only way to beat them is take them round all your courses but who cares.
I did MSSC 2006 at NIIT and was shocked the guru asked us to go and meet those road side guys if we actually want to be very good. This is the same reason a Prof in Mech Engine cannot stand the a good road side mechanic. It's not pride, they are good and it's the law of specialization but they dont have the right to disparage the CS major students and I will encourage any CS students to start going to the road side guys right from 100L to begin their journey into specialization, dont wait till PhD, in the world of CS school can be overrated.

Acting National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, Chief Victor Giadom has officially notified the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, of the proposed emergency National Executive Council Meeting of the APC.

In a letter sent by Chief Giadom to INEC, the meeting is billed to hold on Thursday, 25th June 2020 by 10a.m at the presidential villa.

My name is Stanley(not real names) married for 4years with two Lovely kids both female with d eldest at age 4. Trust me I cherish and love my family. I am a graduate while my wife dropout from the university cause of some money issues her single mother had while she was sick. After our first child I made sure she got admitted to a polytechnic and thankful she just rounded up her N.D all expenses paid by me, with high hopes of Getting admitted for her HND.

The problem started after our first child, my wife attitude towards sex changed totally, she would never let me touch her or play with her, calling her pet names will usually end in quarrel, I spoke with her her severally, pleaded and beg her most times but her attitude never changed, she made me feel like I met nothing to her, yet she will always fight with me whenever ever she suspects I have a girlfriend, fights with any female that comes close to me through calls or chats, she even went as far as beating up a lady that needed my help thinking I was dating her.

Fast forward to recently, her mom who is a single mother relocated to stay with us, and during her stay we had some misunderstanding about money issues, (note both me and wifey are gainfully employed in the ratio of 10:4, but 60% of wifey salary goes to her mom while she spends the rest 40% anyhow she likes) during d money issues a frd of hers came and told both of them that she see saw me flirting with a lady. And without hearing my own side of the coin my mother in-law rained curses on me , reported my to all her family members and left my house angrily, two days later my wife took our children and left my house while I was in d office, I called about her where about and she said she won't tell me and she said I will hear from her family soon, her mom called a family friend saying she will sue me.

It's been one week now and I don't know the whereabouts of my kids.

Should I report to the police or what?
Note I have apologized to wife for the crime I didn't commit yet it seems they want a bigger pound of flesh.

Follow @righteousness89 advice and seek a real marriage counselor, get books on marriages especially the one that addresses spouses from a single mum or dad. The truth is it's a job marrying someone raised by a single mum or dad especially those ones that their mum or dad messed up big time, you must never give room for doubts. So before you solve this problem you need to be sure you will not help a lady without informing your wife, no more flings if there is then sit down with your wife and communicate with her always.

Dont mind Punch, they quoted him out of context. He actually acknowledged Adam's Oshiomole as a force to be reckoned with being a past governor who won the heart of some people "but" he needs more than him because there are lots of leaders that matters just like him.

I think the man is a politician to the core, Obaseki needs to start thinking like politician to win this election otherwise he will loose just the way Fayemi lost despite hard work during his first tenure.

Obaseki should not assume the masses love him.
