it will be surprising to u ,if I tell u that majority of nigerians don't know about nairaland . Secondly this is a fundamental issue that seun needs to look into . The mobile internet market in nigeria is booming ,why is nairaland stagnant? Many ppl I spoke with that are on social media tend to move to and I keep telling them that nairaland is good . To be candid ,nairaland on the outside isn't attractive and u don't really appreciate it until u get involve. There should be a catch attraction that will pull people in . Many are still on facebook and the rest .

mayb seun shd promote nairaland more...but i tell u nl will nt still appeal to a lot of nigeria internet users. Just like i dont tweet, i only go to tweeter one a while to read news abt d club am supporting and my frnds that are nt into nl dont understand why m not into tweeter.



I introduce nl to a couple of my frndz. They luv it at first, they laff readin diff comments. But they stopped visiting. I think it nl entails more of reading and thinkin to comment, many nigerians see that as hardwork.
I have frnds that hav bn coming to nl for more than a yr but neva comment.


To fb is borin, i only go there to add a frnd or post a new quote or smth i like to keep it. The same way i am not into fb and tweeter is the same other people that love those site will nt be into nl. Different strokes for different folks

they believe hausa are power drunk and yoruba are hausa slaves and betrayers (i guessed they got dat idea frm the civil war, yoruba did not betray them. We simply helped our country). Despite their hatred for other tribes, they were left with no much choice but to support the candidates frm dis tribes. But they saw a chance to rebel when jonathan came to power and 'hijacked' pdp. They were blinded by tribalism that they will see nothing wrong in jonathan admistration despite his numerous flaws and mistakes. The SE 'adopted' him as their son. I still dont want to believe other tribes voted based on tribal sentiments like the ibos are claiming because the yoruba voted massively for jonathan and pdp in 2011 but voted different in d gubernitorial election.


I think the moral of dis episode is if u have the total support of the ibos. That is an alert that u shd watch ur back and check if u have made a wrong move. Jonathan and jimi Agbaje know better nw.

Ibos votes in the SW will be counted as SE votes..shey? When it comes to politics...region comes first before historical background. So politically Saraki does not represent the interest of SW but NC.
