which bait? grin

which loose? buhahahahha!

Have you forgotten so soon how you were proven wrong here?

Firstly, you claimed he stunted over 3 year and his loan move to Bordaeux was a failed one but facts showed us it was a successful one. grin

Secondly, you thought Tiago Ilori was a bad market for Liverpool because the lost money but once again, facts on ground proved otherwise. Even, you admitted when quoted the profit Liverpool realised from deal. grin

For where I take loose. Abi! na like you dey na em dey tickle ya fancy!? grin

YOU DON ADMITT AM ON BOTH GROUNDS grin
You obviously cannot tell when someone replies you with tongue in cheek kai! grin

His loan move to Granada was a failed one. He managed to play just 9 times all season out of a possible 40 + games including cup games.
His loan move to Bordeaux was even more depressing, he managed just 12 games out of a possible 40+ games.
His loan spell at Aston Villa was the worst of all, he didn't play one single game all season grin

Putting in perspective, Uche Agbo have played 18 games and counting in his current loan spell at Granada. grin

With all the available data hitting you in the face like a miracle you still believe Liverpool gained from his transfer grin

If he was not on a decline why did his worth plumate from 7M to 3M including add ons and bonuses grin

The numbers on the internet are not real life. If u think Wenger will let Iwobi go for 25 million then good luck. Maybe if they were to only sell the part of him that plays on the wings but if we are talking Iwobi who can also play any midfield position then get ready to pass Sterling money. Don't forget he will always be British and they come at a premium.
Iwobi is addressed as Nigerian. Even when you listen to commentaries, he's addressed as Nigerian which fills me with pride.

Sentiments aside, Iwobi is yet to hit the heights Sterling touched at Liverpool.
Liverpool rode on the backs of Sterling and Suarez on their premiership race, which was jeopardised by the famous Gerrard slip.
Prior to that season, Sterling was worth far less than that. He would have left Liverpool for 12M in 2012 when he had a contract stand off.

Arsenal have about 3 players worth over the 50M mark in Koscielny, Ozil and Sanchez. Barcelona wanted Bellerin for 35~40M.

Consider that this boy is documented and recorded born in France and undeniably 18 years old, is also amazing. I

Compared to our most promising striker Kelechi who is 20 years old and has played 40 games for Manchester city and scored 12.

Mbappe has played 29 games and scored 9.

Who is faster I would say Mbappe who is more clinical and technically gifted you can debate until tomorrow.

Who would cost more in the transfer market then I think there is no debate, Mbappe.

Full details of Tiago Ilori transfer leaked (self.LiverpoolFC)

submitted 1 year ago * by MostRetardedUser

Hi everyone, surprisingly this went under the radar (I think). A website called football leaks has been leaking documents relating to player transfers, agent agreements, and some other stuff for the past few months. Most of the documents relate to Spanish and Portuguese clubs’ transfer dealings.

Tiago Ilori's transfer agreement between Sporting and Liverpool was posted back in early December. I won’t link to the contract directly (because I’m not sure if I’m allowed to) but footballleaks2015. is the website leaking all of this stuff.

Everything on the site appears legit,
obviously I can't prove this, but have a look yourself if you wish.

Without further ado, here's the TL;DR of the contract

Initial transfer fee

€1,880,000 upon Ilori’s registration to play Liverpool

€3,000,000 by July 2014 (note: we signed Ilori in August 2013)

Total transfer fee = €4.88m

Performance bonus:

15 Liverpool apps = €500,000

30 Liverpool apps = €500,000

45 Liverpool apps = €500,000

Total performance bonus = €1.5m

Future transfer:

Sporting receive 25% of any profit made on a future transfer

Liverpool will notify sporting of any accepted transfer bids to allow Sporting a chance to match the transfer bid

Clauses:

Liverpool shall not transfer Ilori to Benfica, Porta or Braga unless they receive an offer of €60m. If this should happen, Sporting would receive 50% of the transfer fee. (This clause expires in September 2018)

sorry. grin I need concrete evidence from the official wedsite of anfield or a statement from them and not from bloggers. grin
You've lost the argument already. Running from pillar to post have shown you up for what you are grin

First of, no club releases the full details of their player's contract. Details in contracts are confidential.
We only know from whistle blowers and third party websites about these details in players contracts.

You can check this link ; http://www.marca.com/en/football/international-football/2016/12/07/5848111122601d2c5f8b4635.html
It's rather a tad classless of you to continue this argument.

N/B: you should read the bolded carefully. grin

Peter Maduabuchi Utaka (born 12 February 1984 in
Enugu ) is a Nigerian footballer with a Belgian passport currently playing for Sanfrecce Hiroshima on loan from Japanese club Shimizu S-Pulse . He is the younger brother of John Utaka . [1]
Club career

Utaka moved to Croatia as a 16-year-old to play in Dinamo Zagreb after trying his luck at Ismaily where his older brother John was a cult figure and in the United Arab Emirates. In 2003 he moved to Belgium from Dinamo and signed for K. Patro Eisden Maasmechelen of the 2nd division. KVC Westerlo moved to sign him the following season, and in his first season in the top flight and the transfer was worth 250 000 euro.
He joined Royal Antwerp FC in January 2007 where he became a first team regular, and he helped Antwerp qualify for the playoffs, finishing second. He also emerged top scorer with 22 goals and capped hs glorious season, winning the Best Striker's Award. He also put more gloss on his breath-taking performance that season, claiming the Most Valuable Player's award over eight times, making him one of the most feared strikers in Belgium. On 30 August 2008, it was announced that Utaka would join Danish club OB . [2] for an undisclosed fee.
Utaka joined Danish side OB in 2008. In his first season, he finished joint fourth place on the scorers list, while he led all scorers in his second season. He finished with 18 goals in 33 matches, the first time in five years an OB player was top scorer in the league (last was Steffen Højer in 2004–05 with 20 goals). His Danish team- OB included also two former Manchester United players- Roy Carroll and Eric Djemba-Djemba and another former French international player- Bernard Mendy.
In January 2012, Utaka moved to Chinese Super League club Dalian Aerbin . He scored 20 goals in 28 games in his first season, playing alongside former Barcelona players such as Fabio Rochemback and Seydou Keita, as well as former Australian International player Mille Sterjovski and former PSG player Guillaume Hoarau. He also scored 11 consecutive fixtures to establish a new C-league record. He transferred to Beijing Guoan on 9 July 2013 in 2M Euro transfer. That made him the most expensive international signing in the history of the club. He also played with former Sevilla and Mali captain- Freddy Kanoute. [3] Utaka made 15 goals in 35 appearances in all competitions for the club, before he was loaned to Shanghai Shenxin during summer transfers in 2014, managing to score only four times in thirteen appearances in all competition for the Shanghai outfit.
In January 2015, Utaka transferred to J1 League -club Shimizu S-Pulse . [4] The club faced a difficult season that year as they were battling relegation. At the end of the season, Utaka scored nine goals in 28 appearances, and the club ended up being seventeenth-placed, thus relegated into the J2 League .
The next year he was loaned to J1 League defending champions Sanfrecce Hiroshima . [5] He scored his first goal for the club in the Japanese Super Cup final, in a 3-1 win against Gamba Osaka . Utaka bagged his first goal in the J1 League on 12 March, scoring a 67th-minute penalty against Shonan Bellmare in a 2-2 draw at home. He scored his next in a 1-5 away thrashing against Omiya Ardija , scoring the opening in the 22nd minute.

International career
On 21 September 2009, national coach Shaibu Amodu selected Peter for the Nigerian national football team . Utaka made his debut for Nigeria months later in a 5–2 home win over Congo DR on 3 March 2010, despite only getting his call up late after the NFF called his mother looking for him. [6][7] He scored the first goal and assisted on the second. [ citation needed ] He scored twice against in a Nations Cup qualifier against Ethiopia . His first goal was the fastest goal in the qualifications-29secs.

Honours
Top goalscorer 2007–08 in the Belgian Second Division with 22 goals in 34 games
Top goalscorer 2009–10 in the Danish Superliga with 18 goals in 33 games
Chinese FA Cup Top goalscorer: 2013
J. League Division 1 Top Scorer: 2016

Clearly this dude is the best Nigerian striker in Asia with his record and on current form.
Emerging top scorer in every league he has played is a record any football player should be proud of.

Why he didn't play in a bigger stage is what I don't know but certainly not because of lack of ability.

Atleast you don learn a thing or two about players contracts today grin
You should thank me for this info I dey download give you grin..

Have a look at his Reading contract ;

The pacy centre-back has penned a three-and-a-half year deal until summer 2020 and could make his Royals debut at Derby County this Saturday (3pm ko).
The official fee for Ilori is 'undisclosed,' but it believed to be in the region of £3m which includes appearance bonuses and add ons , topping the £2.5 Reading forked out for Nantes flop, Emerse Fae, in 2007.
http://www.readingchronicle.co.uk/sport/15030788.Reading_FC__Royals_break_transfer_record_to_sign_Tiago_Ilori_from_Liverpool/
Read the bolded carefully oh.... The Reading deal of about 3M includes add ons and appearance bonuses, you can see similarities with the Liverpool contract earlier BASED ON APPEARANCES AND ADD ONS. In reality, Liverpool have not made a gain from his transfer because Reading did not make an upfront payment of 3M.
If you can't understand this simple breakdown then I can't help you.
Even his Aston Villa deal if one is to scrutinise the terms and conditions binding on the contract, Villa would not have payed a dime to Liverpool because he didn't make a single appearance for them all season.

I wonder what it is you will gain by hawking this straw man all over the place. Seriously, am curious.

Liverpool make profit on Tiago Ilori as Portuguese defender completes Reading move

Liverpool have sold Tiago Ilori to Reading for £3.75million
The former Sporting Lisbon centre-back has failed to make the cut with the Reds in his three years at the club
Tiago Ilori has completed a £3.75million move to Reading – which means Liverpool have made a profit on the Portuguese defender.

The 23-year-old signed for the Reds in 2013 for £3.5million from Sporting Lisbon, with bonuses potentially taking the deal up to £7million.

The clubs agreed a deal last week with Liveroool cleverly agreeing a 25 percent sell-on clause in the contract, report the Liverpool Echo.

The centre back moves to the Royals to aid their promotion push, with Jaap Stam’s side currently third in the Championship.

His deal with Liverpool was valued at 7M if he came good. But he didn't come good hence, Liverpool paid only 3M+ grin

Just like the Liverpool contract, Reading aren't paying 3.7M up front. grin. They are likely paying half of that or less grin added performance based bonus will be paid if he meets those salient clauses which will push the deal up to the 3.75M valuation.

By the way, here's an article about Thiago Ilori. In this article he was labelled as one of the biggest flops of Brenda Rogers and about 1M in waste for Aston Villa grin
Jurgen Klopp may not have to spend big in January after all as the club are expected to welcome one of the many on-loan defenders back to the club this month in an attempt to ease the club's rearguard woes.
Tiago Ilori is rated as one of Brendan Rodgers' most expensive flops after singing for the Reds in 2013 for a rumoured £7 million deal from Sporting Lisbon, before spending two entire seasons out on loan with Granada and then FC Girondins de Bordeaux,
The Portuguese has spent the first half of this season on loan at Aston Villa but has not played a single minute under Tim Sherwood or Remi Garde with both men unimpressed by the defender

The 22-year-old has had his own injury problems but despite returning to full fitness, he is still kicking his heels on the bench at Villa Park
which has alerted Liverpool to his willingness to return to Anfield.
The defender can play at right back and centre-half and, before his career stalled, was seen as a one of the brightest young Portuguese talents to emerge from the country, having played 10 times for the country's U21 side.

Forgiveness,

I am impressed by your open-minded approach and willingness to consider all options.

I have mentioned Obagoal but nobody apart from you has really given him consideration. Young player that we are talking about are largely unproven. We can not dismiss older players on account of age and or there is a possible new better kid on the block.

How many of our young promising strikers have achieved what Obagoal has achieved. Martins could be our most consistent striker over the last 10 years everywhere he has gone he has scored goals.

What's his performance level like now? Now as much as we think the Chinese league is a weak one. They will not be spending big chunks of money on dead strikers, they are not stupid. You now have a lot of world class strikers there now.

In this regard I can no longer say the Chinese league na moi moi. Comparatively is the Greek, Turkish, Bosnia, and Nordic leagues better, I doubt this currently.

So what about OBAGOAL don't know if he can still cut it huh huh huh huh
Your point about Obafemi is well constructed,I totally agree.
However,if we're to consider Obafemi, I think we should also consider Peter Utaka.

Back in the day when he was still playing Street football in Nigeria a lot of us were of the opinion he was the more talented Utaka.

Putting it in perspective, this guy have won the top scorer in each of the 4 countries he has played.
Just last year he won the top scorer in Japan. Mind you, the Japanese league is the best league in Asia. The Japs usually win the Asia champions league.

I will certainly look his way if we are looking for a joker

Bhuuuhahaha! Where is the 50% loss? shocked shocked grin

Do you call that gain or loss? grin

You no sabi anything, ba!? shocked grin
You don't have the details of his contract with Reading.

Just like I discovered that his deal with Liverpool was worth 7M in total but 3.75M was paid up front with remaining balance as performance added bonuses this is exactly how standard contracts are drafted.

His said contract with Reading in totality is worth 3.5M, Reading might have paid just a chunk of the money upfront with the remaining balance added as performance related clauses which brings the deal to the said 3.5M.... No club in the world pays the entire outlay of a contract up front. Basically contracts are drafted in view of being performance oriented. Certain terms and conditions are met before certain percentages are paid. For example, Liverpool are due some payments if Reading gain promotion, if Thiago Ilori makes certain number of appearances, if he gets capped by his national team etc... Whenever these clauses are met, Liverpool will be due to get some remittance. The entire sum when all these clauses are added brings the deal to 3.5M.
You're obviously not a football man, if you are I wouldn't have to go this far to explain contracts to you but take it as one of those things you learnt today grin

Having gone through the paces to explain these details to you, I hope you now get what I mean that Thiago Ilori's is on a steady decline and Liverpool ran at a loss with their investment on him. The 1M Aston Villa invested in his loan deal also was a huge loss to Aston Villa because he made no single appearance.
Thiago Ilori is what we call dead wood. grin

Thanks for that observation, to be candid with you I have not seen any meaningful development with Kelechi Iheanacho.

City only succeeded in delaying his development. City never had any clear cut goal plans for him.

It's quite unfortunate that we keep talking about abstract areas the dude has developed. We only seem to be consoling ourselves.
I still have high hopes for him though. Age is well on his side. But he needs to develop elsewhere, preferably outside the epl. He needs a new environment.

If Kelechi had gone to FC Porto, by now he would have become a better player than what he is now.

I just wonder what his handlers keep thinking day in day out.

I hope some one will not say Mbappe's performance is not as a result of blablablabla you all know what I mean.

Iheanacho must leave Man city for a Club than can guarantee him good playing time, if and only if he wants to play for the Super Eagles.

Super Eagles may not need an Iheanacho who keeps warming the bench.
My brother, this Iheanacho issue don taya me.

First of, I think Man city developed him the wrong way. Playing him as a striker was just selfish of the club because one aspect of his game was developed(goal scoring) while others were left hollow.

Watching him take on the world in UAE as a left-footed wing forward was delightful, just like watching Mbappe.

Many city just cashed on his goal scoring prowess and nothing more.

Developing him first on the wings would have pushed Iheanacho's game immensely, gradually he can be converted to a centre forward. That's the way to go. I give kudos to wenger and the coach at Maastrachi for the work they are doing with Iwobi and Nwakali.
I hope Wolfsburg does the same with Oshimhen.

For the sake of his development, I wish to see Oshimhen develop first on the flanks.

Did anyone watch Kylie Mbappe this night? I've been taking about this dude for the past few months here.

I was telling a friend as we watched the Monaco Vs Man city game earlier that if this boy named Mbappe decides to play of Cameroun, we may not beat them over the two legs.

That boys Celine is damn too high. He has the potential to win the World footballer of the year if he keeps up at the rate he is going.

Watching him makes me feel bad for Iheanacho because I know he would have been just as good if Man city had developed him properly.

For what it's worth, as an African, I want Mbappe to play for Cameroun but only after our double header in August.

Liverpool to make profit on Tiago Ilori transfer after Reading agree £3.75million deal

ByKristian Walsh,
09:32, 9 JAN 2017

Tiago Ilori is on the brink of completing his £3.75million move to Reading – ensuring Liverpool have turned in a profit on the Portuguese defender.

The 23-year-old cost the Reds £3.5million from Sporting Lisbon in the summer of 2013
, sad sad grin in a deal which potentially could have risen to £7million.

The club agreed the fee late last week, and have also inserted a 25% sell-on clause in the contract.

The deal should be completed in the next 24 hours.

The centre back moves to the Royals to aid their promotion push, with Jaap Stam’s side currently third in the Championship.

Your point about his loan spells at Bordeaux and Granada being successful have come to Nutts with this single bolded sentence because Liverpool would have payed up to 7M if he hit a certain plateau but the straw man had an underwhelming outing which was why he was shipped out for a knock down FEE cheesy

Everything still goes back to what I said initially. "Thiago Ilori is in a steady decline and he is not better than anything we have" grin
I hope he finds his level at Reading grin

Eeeeyaa! How can't you comprehend this one thing that Reading-fc valued Tiago Ilori to had broken their record fee to a defender? grin.

Sorry, I can't help you. grin

Where were Ndidi, Success and Ademola when Tiago Ilori was bought for 7M at the age of 17? grin

Besides, we all know clubs spends more on attackers and midfielders than defenders. grin

So, stop shifting goal posts to attackers and midfielders.

Now, tell me how many defenders worth 3.5M in the Super Eagles? I am referring to Omeruo and Ekong. grin

Sorry, try again later. grin

Which internship did Jaap Stam do at Ajax? grin

Olodorabata! grin Oga, stop lying, biko. grin

Jaap Stam was an assistant coach, and later, interim at PEC Zwolle (you can call this internship). From there, he proceeded to Ajax, as an assistant coach, Ajax defense coach to be precise. grin

You have limited knowledge about his coaching career hence the limited information.

Chai!
Reading paid a club record fee of a whooping 3.5M for the straw man while Liverpool lost more than 50% of the investment they made on the same player grin

I get am before no be property na grin... Ndidi, Success and Ademola where busy building themselves up while Sporting Lisbon carry bad market drop for Liverpool hand grin am sure Mino Raoila hand dey for that transfer grin
Today, this same player is worth 5 times less than his age mates grin

Ndidi na attacker abi? grin

Thiago is on the same level as Semi Ajayi grin

It's a pity you don't know intending managers go for compulsory internship, either assisting a manager or working with the reserves/academy before handed Uefa Pro licence grin

If Jaap Stam who is still cutting his teeth could convince the club to cough out 3.5 million, which is the club new record fee, for a player whose career have 'nosedived ;' as alluded by you then the coach, the club scouts and the club must have seen something ya eyes can't see neither your thoughts can comprehend. grin grin grin

Abi you sabi pass all the aforementioned? grin

Chai! You think say na bend down select as dem dey take buy for Oshodi market na em dem dey take buy players for football grin

Intership and assistance coach na different things. grin

Jaap Stam was Ajax DEFENSE COACH. grin

Oya! Tell us wetin Henry do for Arsenal? Em come learn or em come coach? grin
A club's transfer record in 2017 stands at 3,5M and you're shouting grin
You no dey shame to type this? grin kai!
Watford paid 12M for Isaac Success while Leicester paid 15M for Ndidi. These guys are Thiago's age mates oh grin
Everton nko? They paid Charlton 12M for 19yr old Lookman grin
And you're celebrating Thiago ILORI's 3M move grin

Stam is a nobody as far as coaching is concerned. Yes Henry was an apprentist at Arsenal. He was working to get his Uefa coaching licence while on the job as an assistant.
Wenger asked him to step down working as a Sky pundit because he can't be working with the players during the week while criticising them on match day on TV.
Stam was also on the same Uefa Pro license pursuit, his studies took him to Ajax as reserve team coach then at Southampton as an under study to Koeman.
These experiences qualifies a candidate for Uefa Pro license. Its like an internship programme grin

You should be paying me for these info I dey download give you grin

This is Stam first season as a coach and he is already in contention for promotion to the Premier League. grin dat one na fluke for ya eyes? grin
A manager in his first managerial season is still cutting his teeth.
You cannot use him as a reference point when making a judgemental call on a player whose career have nosedived from the he heights of being a super kid to being relegated to the U23s grin
His time at Ajax was more like an internship, just like Henry was at Arsenal . grin

Since, you have confirmed that you have no affiliation with Aston Villa, which implies, you don't know anything about their players. I don't need to discus further. shocked shocked shocked grin grin grin

You go do yourself good by checking the names of the defenders on that squad. grin

Do you even know the same Aston Villa got to the final in a competition that same year? grin

Do you know that Stam was in charge of the Ajax team defence that won the league and Dutch cup? grin
Frank De boer was the manager of Ajax. Japp Stam just tagged along as his lackey or side kick. grin
We know Jap Stam the player, we no sabi Jap Stam the coach grin
