Apprehend Spiritual Realities - Tuesday, August 25th .

Pastor Chris

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen (Hebrews 11:1).

Being born again, you belong in the Kingdom of God's dear Son, which is a spiritual kingdom. In this kingdom, God has blessed you with all spiritual blessings. These include all things that pertain to life and godliness (2 Peter 1:3); everything you could ever want, that's consistent with God's perfect will for your life, is already yours in Christ.

Healing, prosperity, success, and the life of constant victories are realities that you can apprehend in the spirit realm, and appropriate to your life. However, laying hold on these and other spiritual realities in order to make them real —vital, tangible experience— in your personal life has to be by faith! What is faith? Faith is the response of the human spirit to the Word of God. The actions you take, your response to those realities that you see in the Word of God is what faith is.

Faith is acting on those realities defined for us by the Holy Spirit, apprehending the realities of the spiritual kingdom to which you belong, and superimposing them on the natural world. In other words, when you talk about your health, healing, prosperity, and your glorious life in Christ, you're not merely trying to make something happen; rather, you're only walking in the realities that exist in the spirit realm to which you belong.

Prayer...
Heavenly Father, I thank you for the power of your Word and the ministry of the Holy Spirit in my life. I thank you for enlightening my spirit to know and apprehend all that you've made available to me in Christ. I'm walking in the reality of my inheritance in Christ, conscious that I've overcome the world and its systems, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

Further Study:

Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.

Execute The Sentence! - Monday, August 24th .

Pastor Chris

Let the saints be joyful in glory: let them sing aloud upon their beds. Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a two-edged sword in their hand; To execute vengeance upon the heathen, and punishments upon the people; To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron; To execute upon them the judgment written: this honour have all his saints. Praise ye the LORD (Psalm 149:5-9).

In Christianity, we're not called to fight the devil. Satan, the devil, is our adversary, but he's already defeated! He's been judged, and we're the ones authorized to execute his judgment! So, we don't fight him; we execute the sentence that's already been passed on him; it's part of our heritage in Christ: "To execute upon them (Satan and his demons) the judgment written: this honour have all his saints.

Praise ye the LORD" (Psalm 149:9).In John 16:11, Jesus said, "...the prince of this world is judged"; that means he's been sentenced. Halleluiah! We have the responsibility to keep Satan where he belongs —under our feet! That's why the Bible says to cast him out! You don't struggle with Satan; just cast him out.

The resurrection of Jesus made a champion of you. The Bible says you've been raised together with Him, and made to sit together with Him in heavenly places (Ephesians 2:6). You're seated with Christ, far above principalities and powers. You occupy the place of authority in Christ, far above Satan and everything that's connected to him. Glory to God!

Confession...
I'm anointed with the Holy Spirit and with power! I'm superior to Satan and his demons, with the authority to execute judgment against them. I dominate and triumph over circumstances today and always, because the greater One lives in me! Glory to God!

Don't worry, he won't be ridiculed... He's got a habit of finding answers to deviate from his wrongs... That's the comedy, why I recorded it.

If you recorded the video to play back to him as a means to correct his lying or bed wetting, then fine.
I did... We all laughed after it... I should have recorded that too.. He said "did I say that?... Oh my God"... Then laughs loud covering his eyes.

Posting same online for millions of viewers on YouTube is unacceptable most especially with him crying which also goes on to show that he might be a subject of physical abuse hence the fear in him.
Na wa o. He does that anytime he's called out on something he did or didn't do. That's the comedy o... No one beats him... Not even me.

Bed wetting should be treated with care and not high handedness
He does not bed wet... This one was just way off, after a whole day swimming, he got tired and simply slept off, not even knowing where... Then, just say make him no fall his aunts hand... Hence the drama. grin

The Love Law - Sunday, August 23rd .

Pastor Chris

But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed (James 1:25).

Many have interpreted what Apostle James said in the above verse from a religious perspective, thinking that the perfect law of liberty means "a law that makes men free." No law was given to make us free. We were born free!

When you were born again, you weren't set free. "But didn't Jesus say, "And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free?" ' you might want to ask.
Now, it's important to understand the teachings of Jesus to the Jews and His teachings to the Church; He said that to the Jews. That verse doesn't say, "the truth shall SET you free," but that "the truth shall MAKE you free." What this means is that you'll experience what has already happened; the freedom that has already taken place. When you know and apply the truth of God's Word in any area, you experience the resultant blessing and liberation from that particular bondage or ignorance, as it were. Yet, this teaching was to the Jews.

James wasn't talking about a law that makes the Christian free, because once you're born again you're born free in Christ. You weren't set free from Satan or from anything that hurts or binds; you were given a new life that never existed before. You became a new creation, superior to Satan. The Living Bible puts it rightly; it says, "But if anyone keeps looking steadily into God's law for free men..." (James 1:25). That's the meaning of the law of liberty. God's perfect law of liberty is the love law.

1 Timothy 1:9 says, "Knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers." Does this mean we're without law? Yes, but we're not without "law" to God.

Jesus said in John 13:34, " new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another." That's our law, which in reality isn't a law, but our way of life. It's natural for us to walk in love as Christians, because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost (Romans 5:5).

Prayer...
Blessed Father, thank you for your love that's been shed abroad in my heart by the Holy Spirit. Your love is expressed and revealed through me to the world today, in my words and in my actions, in Jesus' Name. Amen.

Further Study:
1 Corinthians 13:8 CEV
Love never fails! Everyone who prophesies will stop, and unknown languages will no longer be spoken. All that we know will be forgotten.

1 John 5:2-3 By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments. 3 For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.

He that will receive Life must surrender his life that his life may be hid/swallowed up with Christ(Who is The Life 1John1:2)in God!

For whoever is bent on saving his [temporal] life [his comfort and security here] shall lose it [eternal life]; and whoever loses his life [his comfort and security here] for My sake shall find it [life everlasting].
Matthew 16:25 AMP

We give our lives to Christ when we surrender to His Lordship and Control. This is a very necessary part if we are to be truly saved. Remember Paul when he encountered Christ,"Lord What wilt thou have me to do":that's the language of surrender.

9 And, [His completed experience] making Him perfectly [equipped], He became the Author and Source of eternal salvation to all those who give heed and obey Him,
Hebrews 5:9

Also in Romans 10:9 talks of confessing with the mouth the LORD Jesus, suggesting that the faith in God's raising Him from the dead must be backed by a surrendering to, and confessing Him as your Lord.

firstly Know that,Giving in any form be it tithes, offerring, first fruits, seeds is not and never a pre-requisite to God's blessings.
Well, I never said giving is the only requisite for God's blessings... But however, giving is the only principle for receiving form God in the bible. Hence, give and it shall be given unto you

Can you point any successful man in the Bible that never gave?

Matt5:45 God makes his sun to rise on the evil and good,He sends his rain on the just and unjust.
undecided

God blesses the believer and the unbeliever materially.
No doubt... That's GOD'S PERMISSIBLE will... Ever heard of God's perfect will? It's for the believers ONLY.

So your giving is not a ticket to God's blessing. i explained it clearly in the Post about Giving,You did not read through it well.
Your post was, as usual, misconstrued. Don't blame me if I didn't get it.... And yes, giving is one of the ways of God's blessings, ask king David.

Your theology amazes me,How do you mis-read scriptures like this.i explained it in the post.Go and reread
Your stiff neckedness amazes me.

What happens at the point of Salvation?
1)Did you give your life to Christ or
2)You received the Life of Christ?
I accepted the sacrifice of Jesus, and declared Him Lord of my life, and believed the God raised Him from the dead... I exchanged my life for His... Because He's already taken my place... I just made it official, by signing the dotted lines.

Why don't you start a thread about this? I'm not saying, receiving Jesus into my life is a wrong construct, I'm saying you saying "giving my life to Jesus" is wrong, is a farce.

.. On second thought, when Jesus said "Give and IT SHALL be given unto you".. Notice the Capitalised term (that's a sovereign declaration by the almighty, not a promise) ... Are you suggesting He being metaphorical or using a hyperbole?

The fact Paul lacked in course of his duties does not mean he was poor. Same way folks claim Jesus was poor. See this link for further information

https://www.nairaland.com/1957135/midas-touch-balanced-approach-biblical#27289013

Givers never lack, and because I have no cash in my pocket does not mean I'm broke or poor. My bible says, if the cloud be full of rain..... Go search out that scripture.

.. Secondly, the term giving one's heart to Christ is not wrong a statement as you'd have us believe. Paul write,... Oh, what a wonderful verse this is

Gal 2:20 KJV
I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

What he's saying there is that His life is no longer his, in other words, he's given it away to Christ. Why? Because it's a choice. If I give you my car, do I still tell you what to do with it? If I give my life to Christ, it's no longer mine, meaning I live for Him... I no longer live for myself.

No wonder the bible says that they which receive the abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness... Shall reign in this life by Christ Jesus (Romans 5:17)...

The above bold is a choice, because some have heard of this grace and rejected it, some will... They refused to accept the sacrifice of Jesus... They refused to give their hearts/life to the master... Hence they have no righteousness, because there's no salvation to start with.

When you believe that Jesus is Lord of your life, and confess it with your mouth, and believe that God raised Him from the dead... What you did was surrender your life to His rulership, you gave yourself away, so that He can use you. YOU GAVE YOUR LIFE TO HIM, hence, it's no longer yours. Gal 2:20

No need creating a mountain out of an ant hill.

He’s Excited About You - Saturday, 22th August, 2015
Pastor Chris

The LORD thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love,he will joy over thee with singing (Zephaniah 3:17).

Did you know that God is excited about you? You need to take some time today to meditate on that. Some people only think of God’s wrath. They believe He’s always mad at them. They’ve been raised to think that God is only concerned about sin, and because there’s so much sin in the world, He’s mad at everybody; no! He’s not that way. God isn’t concerned about sin as many think. He was concerned about sin, and His concern about it made Him send Jesus.

When Jesus died on the cross, the problem of sin was dealt with forever. Therefore, for the believer in Christ, sin is no longer a problem. The death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ brought an end to sin and ushered you into the life of righteousness: “For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him” (2 Corinthians 5:21). So you see, God is not mad at you; He settled the sin-problem in, and through, Jesus Christ and said,“…sin shall not have dominion over you…” (Romans 6:14).

What you need to do is to trust His righteousness; trust what Jesus came to do! You’re the fruit, the result of Christ’s redemptive work. Accept and receive His righteousness into your spirit, and live continually in His glory and grace, knowing that He’s not mad at you, but excited about you. 2 Corinthians 5:19 says,“To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.” This lets you know the mind of God. He’s not even mad at the sinner, let alone you that are born again!

Therefore, get excited about God, because He’s excited about you.

Confession...
I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus; sin has no power over me. My heavenly Father rejoices over me with singing, and I bring him joy and gladness today, pleasing him in all things! I'm his crown and Pearl of great value. I'm his outstretched arm of love, joy and righteousness to the world! glory to God!
