Christ Our Wisdom · Saturday, December 14th · Pastor Chris But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption (1 Corinthians 1:30). Colossians 2:3 says, ‘In Christ are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.’ He’s the embodiment of all wisdom and knowledge. When He becomes the Lord of your life and takes up His abode in the quarters of your heart, He becomes your wisdom. This is different from Him making you wise. He becomes the Lord of your mind, and begins to direct your thinking. Though Christ is in you, and has become your wisdom, it’s important for you to declare that the wisdom of God is operational in you. The Apostle Paul tells us something very instructive in 1 Corinthians 2:7: "But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory." You activate Christ’s wisdom through your confessions. Even now, go ahead and declare, "Christ is made unto me wisdom; therefore, I have extraordinary amplitude of comprehension. I’m creative and innovative! I’m smart, sound, and excellent!" The more of God’s Word you have in you, the more fellowship you have with Wisdom. You’ll know what to say in any situation, and express divine wisdom whenever you open your mouth to speak. The Lord Jesus alluded to this in Matthew 10:19-20: "But when they deliver you up, take no thought how or what ye shall speak: for it shall be given you in that same hour what ye shall speak. For it is not ye that speak, but the Spirit of your Father which speaketh in you." Confession I have extraordinary amplitude of comprehension, because Christ is my wisdom. I’m bold and smart. I’m excellent and sound! Relax; Jesus Is In Your Boat! · Friday, December 13th · Pastor Chris And, behold, there arose a great tempest in the sea, insomuch that the ship was covered with the waves: but he was asleep. And his disciples came to him, and awoke him, saying, Lord, save us: we perish. And he saith unto them, Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith? Then he arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm (Matthew 8:24-26). Our opening text is an interesting account of an experience the Lord Jesus had with His disciples, whom He reprimanded for having little faith. He expected them to be unruffled since He was in the boat with them; by reason of His presence, no storm, however fierce, could sink the boat. However, the disciples didn’t realize this, and were overwhelmed with fear. It brings to mind the experience of the Apostle Paul, and those who sailed with him in Acts 27. Paul was under arrest and was being taken to Rome as a prisoner. As they sailed, the journey got dangerous, and while his co-travellers were terrified that they might lose their lives, Paul spoke up and reassured them of their safety. He said, "…I exhort you to be of good cheer: for there shall be no loss of any man’s life among you, but of the ship" (Acts 27:22). What a statement! Paul talked very boldly because an angel of the Lord had appeared to him saying, "...Fear not, Paul; thou must be brought before Caesar: and, lo, God hath given thee all them that sail with thee" (Acts 27:24). Paul knew who was sailing in the ship with him—the Lord Himself—and so, unafraid, he strengthened the others with the Word, saying, "Wherefore, sirs, be of good cheer: for I believe God that it shall be even as it was told me" (Acts 27:25). Eventually, they all came out of the looming danger unscathed. The one who’s born again never "sails" alone; Christ is in your boat, and that means peace, safety, security, deliverance, and protection! You can therefore relax and be anxious for nothing, as you enjoy a smooth cruise in your journey of faith. Prayer.. Dear Father, I thank you for perfecting all that concerns me, and giving me a life of victory through the Word. My life is for your glory and praise, as I live to fulfil your divine purpose for me, in Jesus’ Name. Being born again, you’re one of a kind; you’re the carrier of eternal life, the indestructible life of God! You have a special purpose on earth, to set forth the wonderful deeds and display the virtues and perfections of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvellous light. This is what 1 Peter 2:9 above communicates. You’re a special breed; superior to Satan, sickness and infirmities, and not subject to failure or limitations. Someone might be angry at you and say, "Who do you think you are, acting like you’re so special?" Square up and say, "I’m not acting like I’m special; I’m special and I know it." God made you, not so you’ll be defeated or be a "nobody" in life, but that you’ll be the reflector of His glory—His beauty, grace, and excellence. You’re His best. James 1:18 says, "Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures." Take pleasure in your uniqueness, for no one else in the world is like you. You must therefore bless the world with all the treasures the Lord has deposited in you; be the best of you to His glory. Pastor Kun: There is no where in scripture that instructs anybody or even christians for that matter to pay a tithe of their income or give their first salary as 'first fruit' what you posted above are doctrines of certain churches derived from twisting scripture. |

He’s Our Sanctification · Wednesday, December 11th Pastor Chris But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption (1 Corinthians 1:30). The Greek word translated "sanctification" in our opening verse could also mean "the sanctifier." Christ, the sanctifier, has come to live in us! He’s not in us trying to sanctify us; He has already sanctified us. He’s our "separator"; He sets us apart and sanctifies everything we do. He has separated us from the rest of the world, to Himself, and from sin and evil unto righteousness. We’re the distinguished ones; the chosen of God unto His glory and created for His pleasure. Psalm 4:3 says, "But know that the LORD hath set apart him that is godly for himself: the LORD will hear when I call unto him." Another beautiful thing is, now that Christ the sanctifier lives in you, you’ve become one with Him: "For both he that sanctifieth and they who are sanctified are all of one: for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren" (Hebrews 2:11). He has thus made you a sanctifier; meaning that you can sanctify everything that has to do with you: your money, food…anything at all—by speaking words that cleanse. In 1 Timothy 4:4-5, Paul said, "For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving: For it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer." This is in sync with what the Lord Jesus said in John 15:3: "...ye are clean through the Word which I have spoken unto you." We’re the ones bearing His wonderful, precious, and cleansing words today. When you preach or teach the Word, people are cleansed and purified; grace, love, and the goodness of God are ministered to the hearers. Let this be your cogitation and contemplation; before long, everyone around you will know you’re different, and testify that you’re indeed the King’s representative. Confession I’m special; set apart by the Lord for His divine use; and I’m bringing Him glory every day! My life is a testimony of His grace, love, power, greatness, and righteousness! I’m a peculiar treasure unto the Lord! [size=16pt] THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING BORN AGAIN [/size] Don't ever take it for granted. It’s not just about being kind to people. The term born again was not invented by the churches. Some say, I don't want to join those ‘born again groups”. But the word was originally used by Jesus. John 3:1 There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews: John 3:2 The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him. John 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. You see, Jesus said so, it’s not a church who said it, not a denomination or congregation who declared it. It was Jesus himself. John 3:4 Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born? John 3:5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. John 3:6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. This man was an important man, he was a ruler of the Jews, but here he was confused so he wanted to understand. The phrase, “…Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit,” So here he is talking about the same thing. Here he is dealing with spiritual birth. So he wanted him not to think of the flesh anymore. You must be born again; this is not an option. If you are born again, you must be glad forever. You don't have to get born again so many times. Once is enough. What you need is to be taught what it means; so that you can live it. Psa 87:4 I will make mention of Rahab and Babylon to them that know me: behold Philistia, and Tyre, with Ethiopia; this man was born there. They nicknamed Egypt as "Rahab" Psa 87:5 And of Zion it shall be said, This and that man was born in her: and the highest himself shall establish her. When David is talking about Zion here he was talking prophetically here, not referring to the physical Zion, or to any place in the physical Israel. Let me show you; Heb 12:18 For ye are not come unto the mount that might be touched, and that burned with fire, nor unto blackness, and darkness, and tempest, Heb 12:19 And the sound of a trumpet, and the voice of words; which voice they that heard intreated that the word should not be spoken to them any more: Heb 12:20 (For they could not endure that which was commanded, And if so much as a beast touch the mountain, it shall be stoned, or thrust through with a dart: Heb 12:21 And so terrible was the sight, that Moses said, I exceedingly fear and quake  Look at the tenses, and he is talking to Christians. You are not going to Zion, you have arrived in Zion. The gospel is not about what God wants you to do, but it’s about what Christ has done. It is good news. All you have to do is to accept it. It’s better to light a candle than to curse darkness. Heb 12:22 But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels, now consider this Gal 4:22 For it is written, that Abraham had two sons, the one by a bondmaid, the other by a freewoman. Gal 4:23 But he who was of the bondwoman was born after the flesh; but he of the freewoman was by promise. Haggah gave birth to her child naturally and Sarah gave birth miraculously (supernatural) Gal 4:24 Which things are an allegory: for these are the two covenants; the one from the mount Sinai, which gendereth to bondage, which is Agar. Gal 4:25 For this Agar is mount Sinai in Arabia, and answereth to Jerusalem which now is, and is in bondage with her children. Gal 4:26 But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all. let’s go back to the book of Hebrews Heb 12:22 But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels, Heb 12:23 To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect,In this city we have so many angels. Look, God has a general assembly, wow! Heb 12:24 And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel. Heb 12:25 See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. For if they escaped not who refused him that spake on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from him that speaketh from heaven: Jesus is part of Zion. now Let's go back to psalm 87:4-5 Psa 87:4 I will make mention of Rahab and Babylon to them that know me: behold Philistia, and Tyre, with Ethiopia; this man was born there. [size=16pt] WE ARE BORN IN ZION [/size] Now look at verse 6 Psa 87:6 The LORD shall count, when he writeth up the people, that this man was born there. Selah. Are you getting it? The man who was born again, was born in Zion. That's what it is going to matter. It will not matter if you were born in Zimbabwe or South Africa, or Namibia. He wants you to be born in Zion. That's what matters. Amen. Let me show you one more thing… [size=16pt] THE BOOK OF LIFE [/size] Rev 20:14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. Revelation was given to John, about the future and the end. All what is happening around the world, the bible already told us. It’s not surprising. Let’s start from the 12th verse. Rev 20:12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. Rev 20:13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. KJV Check it in NIV. Rev 20:12 And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened . [size=16pt] Another book was opened, [/size] which is the book of life. The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books. Rev 20:13 The sea gave up the dead that were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them, and each person was judged according to what he had done.NIV. [size=16pt] Who are these people? What are these books? [/size] these are the people (great and small) been referred to above Rev 6:14-17 KJV Rev 6:14 And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places. Rev 6:15 And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; Rev 6:16 And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: Rev 6:17 For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand? So no matter how low you were, you were to be judged. Let's go back to Rev 20:12-14 So many people think I should try to outdo my bad works, let me just try my best to do good works, no, that’s not it. Look at v14, Hell as bad as it is, it’s just a waiting place. it is not the final destination. Death is a spirit, there is an angel called death. He has been defeated but this time he will be destroyed. Look at verse 15 carefully. Rev 20:15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. So this is it. This is the deciding factor, if your name is not found in that book; that is it for you. There is no time in eternity. Do you think I am a fool preaching like this? Otherwise I could have been enjoying myself outside there, but necessities led. It is important for your name to be written in this book of life. [size=16pt] So when is the name written? [/size] The bible does not say how exactly a name gets in, but does say how it gets out. Once you are born into this world, your name is written in it. It is up to the way you live your life, for it to be either removed or remains. So that's why we want to win souls. It's wrong not to try when you can. We will try our all to win them, to win the world. If I attended a certain school, my name ought to be there. It is as simple as that, your name is expected to appear on the school-student list. There will be an angel calling names. Angles are unique in different ways. so, if one's name is not found in that book of life, he or she is sentenced. when a man dies in sin, he goes to hell and WAIT for the judgement day. he will be tormented while waiting. it is just like a man accused of a wrong, he is remanded in prison while he waits for the final judgement on whether he would be freed or sentenced to the said consequence for that crime... and on that day, remember the verse above talked about books and 'another book'. A man would be tried, judged of all he did, all he said, all his actions, after his judgement, the book of life is checked, and if his name is NOT found in that book, he would be cast in the lake of fire. In the lake of fire, all there is is fire, one cant see the other person. Its just like swimming in a lake of water... and all there would be there for all eternity, in everlasting torment, and there will never be a time God will say "ummm, they've learnt their lesson, let's bring them out!".....NO, a thousand times NO!!!... God lives outside time, and as the bible said, when the trumpet sound, time shall cease..there will not be a day in the lake of fire, nor a year, nor a century. That is why we must talk to everyone about Christ and all he came to do... that is why we should channel our monies in things that will bring folks to the kingdom of Light... for it is a terrible thing to fall in the hands of the living God. Tell every creature (not just man) Who Jesus is, what he came to do and how relevant is he today. Let's look at the power of knowledge for a moment. Hos 4:6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children. This is serious isn't it. He didn't say my people [God’s own people] are destroyed because they don't love enough or they did not have power or money. He says the reason is lack of Knowledge. They don’t know, but how can they know if no one is there to tell them. Rom 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God . If you don't have faith, then listen to the word of God. What if someone cannot hear? I always say, hearing comes by the word of God. Rom 10:18 But I say, Have they not heard? Yes verily, their sound went into all the earth, and their words unto the ends of the world. Rom 10:19 But I say, Did not Israel know? First Moses saith, I will provoke you to jealousy by them that are no people, and by a foolish nation I will anger you. [size=16pt]WHY WE MUST PREACH OUT THE GOSPEL[/size] Now back a little and let's go to verse 13-15 Rom 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. Rom 10:14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? Rom 10:15 And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things! The preacher has to be sent, he will share the message for people to hear, when they hear they will believe, when they believe they will call upon the name of the Lord, when they call upon the name of the lord, they will be saved. Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, Ph.D When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory (Colossians 3:4). "I often wonder what some people see when they read this verse. Did you notice it says Christ is our life? The Apostle Paul didn’t say, "When Christ, who is going to be our life, shall appear." Rather, he said, "When Christ, who is our life…." Christ is our life now. What does this mean? Christ is the express image of the invisible God; the Word of God made flesh. Colossians 2:9 says, "For in him (Christ) dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily." Think about this: the one who contains the fullness of the Godhead—the totality of divinity—lives in you now, and is the life in you. If this is true, and it is true, how will affliction or infirmity thrive in your body? Christ being your life means you’re an indestructible and impregnable fortress. You received His superior and incorruptible life the moment you were born again. The Bible says, "Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever" (1 Peter 1:23). Your life is from the Word of God, which lives forever; life that can’t be contaminated or terminated by sickness, disease or death! This should inspire enthusiasm, courage, faith, and boldness in you. John the apostle wrote, "Beloved, now are we the sons of God…" (1 John 3:2); this reiterates that you have His life. You’re an associate of the God-kind, living, not by blood, but by the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus. Arm yourself with this knowledge; meditate on it, and it’s sure to destroy sickness, disease and infirmity from your body." Confession I function by the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus; living in the victories and triumphs of Christ! The Holy Spirit is able to teach the church n change them, if they don't want to, God would judge. Pls bro, let them be... That includes pastors too (don't criticize them even if you find one in a who.re house, don't )! |

Ukuts gp: those that study the bible very well will know the fact that the catholic is a false church. They worship images, bow to the statue of mary, kiss the pope's foot, pray to mary and the dead and many more. Every true believer will know that they are hell-bound unless they repent.Did God send you on the 'exposing' mission? Why would he want you to call a church n its brethren idolatrous and hell bound? God don't work in strife, if there's anything you could do is pray for the catholic church... Intercede for them. No Church critic go far in life, go check all around the world. Those who do that do it at their detriment both physical and spiritual. Do your self a world of good and desist The truth is always bitter that is why majority reject it and choose lies. But u cant cover the truth up cos someday it would surely come out.Leave God to his fights Do u think that i am looking for the reward of man. I am not. Christ Our Life · Tuesday, December 10th · Pastor Chris When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory (Colossians 3:4). I often wonder what some people see when they read this verse. Did you notice it says Christ is our life? The Apostle Paul didn’t say, "When Christ, who is going to be our life, shall appear." Rather, he said, "When Christ, who is our life…." Christ is our life now. What does this mean? Christ is the express image of the invisible God; the Word of God made flesh. Colossians 2:9 says, "For in him (Christ) dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily." Think about this: the one who contains the fullness of the Godhead—the totality of divinity—lives in you now, and is the life in you. If this is true, and it is true, how will affliction or infirmity thrive in your body? Christ being your life means you’re an indestructible and impregnable fortress. You received His superior and incorruptible life the moment you were born again. The Bible says, "Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever" (1 Peter 1:23). Your life is from the Word of God, which lives forever; life that can’t be contaminated or terminated by sickness, disease or death! This should inspire enthusiasm, courage, faith, and boldness in you. John the apostle wrote, "Beloved, now are we the sons of God…" (1 John 3:2); this reiterates that you have His life. You’re an associate of the God-kind, living, not by blood, but by the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus. Arm yourself with this knowledge; meditate on it, and it’s sure to destroy sickness, disease and infirmity from your body. Confession I function by the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus; living in the victories and triumphs of Christ! Jesus Manifested The God-Life · Monday, December 9th · Pastor Anita But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God (John 1:12-13). In John 10:10, the Lord Jesus informed His hearers of what He came to accomplish. He said, "…I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly." He brought us eternal life. What is eternal life? Eternal life is the Godlife! It’s the nature of God. Everyone that’s born into this world is born with the human life, but the new creation is recreated in God’s class. That’s how simple it is to be born again, and have the God-life imparted to your spirit. Religion teaches that you’ll get that life when you get to heaven, but the Word says, "He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life" (1 John 5:12). The Lord Jesus is the totality and embodiment of the God-life; "For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself" (John 5:26). John 1:4 says, "In him was life; and the life was the light of men." There’s no life or light anywhere else outside of Jesus. To be in Christ, therefore, is to be fully inundated with His divine life. That means you’ve been eternally separated from darkness and death unto the life of eternal victory, in righteousness and ever-increasing splendour.
