Travel / Re: Why Do Foreign Embassies Reject Our Nigerian Traditional Weddings? by Googler(m): 10:46am On Mar 23, 2012

Henry40:
Under Nigerian Law, registry wedding are not "White Weddings," registry weddings are the legalization of marriage. I'm sure what you mean by "white wedding" is simply a celebration of a legalized wedding. Under Nigerian Law, Traditional Weddings are not legal. You ever wondered why a man can have 12 wives, and yet, only 1 of them would be his "1st lady"? That's because that's the one wise enough to make their marriage legal and you can only be married to one legal wife. Embassies generally place emphasis on the Legal, not the Traditional.

Thank you. So you mean if I had a traditional marriage and then get a certificate for that from my traditional ruler or local government chairman, that would suffice?
Religion / Re: Do I Need A Spiritualist On My Case? by Googler(m): 2:20pm On Jan 20, 2012
If things are CONSISTENTLY going wrong with your life FOR NO REASONS you can see or think of, you may need one. A spiritualist can help you MAKE SENSE of things. For solution you will have to look to yourself. But a spiritualist can tell you what is wrong and possibly what you can do about it. I have had a personal experience of this.

The challenge, though, is finding the right spiritualist. Too many pretenders. And frauds.

Politics / Re: Strike: Count Us Out –south-east Traders by Googler(m): 10:08am On Jan 10, 2012
@mikeansy
I take your point about the viewpoint of traders. But I think it's the SE traders placing themselves on the crosshairs here. When they held these meetings and made these statements with the governor what are people supposed to think, considering other factors?

I don't know that you are right about SW taxi drivers and Northern mai suya, but let's assume you are, I am yet to see reports of them meeting to take positions at variance with the general mood of the country. Why can't the SE traders go about their trading without ganging up against everyone?

No wonder I had light yesterday. Not that the Nigerian government can be trusted to see through the process to the benefit of Nigerians though.

Just sit down and wait a little longer more. There is no need for you to reconsider your position, but why? there is no Fire on the Mountain yet and you want to start runing.

Meanwhile, Prophets of God are not seer. I would have refered to someone but there is no FIRE on the Mountain yet - until you see Fire contact me. And as I advised you, Sit down a little more.
Oh dear!

There is fire on the mountain! It's not this one we are saying o! Please refer me to someone.

And, yes, "prophets of God" are seers in the sense the word is used here. People who see beyond the five senses are born with such abilities. If you became an imam or pastor or atheist or "native doctor" you would retain it. You don't learn it or pray for it.

usually not. it is better if you travers the countryside villages. sometimes there is a Seer for each village. you can ask the local peoples for info.
Perhaps if I went to Ikorodu or Shagamu or Epe. One problem is I want to visit someone only by recommendation.

@bunbit1
Thanks for your offer. But since you have a thread why spam mine with your propaganda? I'm sure those interested in magic money and the like can visit your thread for info.

There are many traditional Seers across Nigeria. However, you must beware of false internet seers. Visit the Seer yourself. Sometimes even healers take on this role. I have encountered many in the rural areas. The old experienced ones can be very helpful. It is well worth it. cool
Thank you. I live in Lagos. You mean I can't meet any authentic "Baba" (or "Mama"wink here in the city?
Religion / I Need To Visit A Seer by Googler(m): 5:36pm On Nov 14, 2011
I am not a religious or spiritually inclined person. I deal only with that which I can see and so never thought the day would come when I will desire the services of a seer. I never used to believe witches trouble anyone. But some things I have seen of recent have made me to reconsider my position.

I need to visit a seer in order to make sense of a few things. Do you know any good one? He can be of any persuasion - "native doctor", white garment prophet, Indian mystic, mallam, palm reader, pentecostal pastor. Although pastor is not at the top of my list since he will want me to start attending church which I have no intention of doing. Thank you.

Keep voting for PDP and you have no right to complain.
Nobody gets brought to justice for anything.
Stoopid followers who keep ssupporting the people holding them hostage.
I weep not for Nigeria, i weep for the idiotas who mouth change but do otheriwse when the opportunity arises.
This is nonsense. It is, because (1) You have no proof that your party, whichever it is, would have changed the police by now. (2) When you vote a government into power, you are free to disagree with some of its decisions or the way it's runing things; you can even call for the government to be impeached or recalled. That is how it is in democracies and it's hard to make sense of your position that those who voted PDP should remain silent forever. BTW I did not vote PDP.

I have seen people going through nada use that prayer. Nigerians tend to have a lot of enemies.

Floxyluv:

The bible is an inspirational and holy book. It's all about human lives. Psalm 109, doesn't make it any different. @op have you ever gone through difficult times that you feel really hurt? Believe me your own prayer would be worst.
Let's say you are correct and she would summon God to send otolo and HIV to deal with people. Would that make it RIGHT?
Religion / Re: Psalm 109: Why Is It In The Bible? by Googler(m): 7:37pm On Oct 19, 2011
The toba post does little for the problem at hand. David would not hurt a hair on Saul but would hastily grab the nearest prayer mat and ask God to send ebola virus into the man's lineage forever! He reveals in his vile prayer that all that mattered to him was surviving to take Saul's place, as he feared incuring a curse upon his own head if he killed "God's anointed". David was as loveless and sanguinary as Saul who, by the way, was doing a perfectly normal thing by trying to kill David since there couldn't be two kings in Israel. We are assuming, of course, that David wrote Psalm 109. In my opinion, Psalm 109 is a vile piece set in verse.

Good you now realise you had no point in saying that the devil, aka Iya Witch, is here to deceive and that those of us who believe the thread is a joke have been fooled.

Of course, to those who believe in the existence of witchcraft, it's real. No one is disputing that with you. What we are saying is that "draining" and the other main features of this particular story are jokes.
Religion / Re: Introduction To Witchcraft | 'Witchcraft For Dummies' by Googler(m): 11:58pm On Sep 13, 2011
Ok, I get that point now. But whats your main point? That s/he's here to make people join witchcraft or to make them think it doesn't exist?

the joke's on whoever believes the thread is a joke.

i didnt feel like explaining much of what s/he typed, because sometimes people find truth simply too difficult to understand in its banality.

sincere christians should just watch and pray, and do not be ignorant of the wiles and devices of the devil.

Iya Witch,

You can say that again. I was having a great time.

@Richvkunt
Take a look at my first post to you which was politely addressed and your response where you called me names. And you say I am the abusive one? Again, do you think before typing? Now, I expect you to attack Iya Witch and tell her she lack English comprehension. And the next time you see a book titled Gardening for Dummies don't forget to tell the owner it is a joke book. Tell her the clue is in the title and she will applaud your English comprehension skills. If she argues show her Chambers dictionary, you hear? Chambers dictionary, you hear?

I wonder what it is in what I wrote that makes you call me a fanatic. Do you think at all before typing? Ok, let's, for the sake of argument, say I was scared. How does that take away the fact you ought to be embarrased you don't know what is meant by ". . .for dummies"?

Oga, You are even denser than I thought. The thread was a joke from the start. That is not in dispute. And no, I was not scared. Why do you think I was? All you are being told is you misread the title. THAT WHILE THE THREAD WAS INDEED A HOAX, THE TITLE DID NOT NECESARILY REVEAL THAT. But you can't comprehend that. So go on. The next time you see a book titled Web Designing for Dummies, tell the owner it's a hoax book. You hear?
Religion / Re: Introduction To Witchcraft | 'Witchcraft For Dummies' by Googler(m): 12:38pm On Sep 11, 2011

I will suggest you admit your error. When I saw your first post saying the title was a clue I wondered how you came by your misunderstanding, seing as there are now countless books for dummies. A material presented or prepared for dummies is simply one meant to teach the subject in a way everyone can understand.

Im really getting fed up of the western media's disinformation campaign its now looking really pathetic and desperate.

Yeah, it's the "western media" making this one up. Everyone knows those who hate imperialism are perfect masters of their testosteron and never get randomly attracted to women once such are imperialist lackeys! And it is quite clear that article was not meant to highlight a soft side of the tough Ghadafi but is a desperate effort to disinform and paint him bad and make everyone hate him.

And the manufacturers of this production were foolish to the very end. It's as if as they were rounding off production someone tapped the director on the shoulders and asked why Fulgencio was being let off. And he said, "Oh, him? Em. . . take him with one cameraman to the shore and kill him with a rock. Hurry!"
