Manchester united are cursed to repeat this punishment endlessly. Anyone who knows a little about football can see this except INEOS and Amorim’s supporters. INEOS because they are actually broke but masquerading to be rich. Amorim’s supporters because they are deluded and wish for the old days without the work ethic of the old days.
I actually pity mercenary players like Cunha coming in for the money. By the time Amorim strait jackets him into his system of madness he will understand that happiness is more important than money.

I expect Amorim to be issued his P45 by December then whoever comes in will demand the sacking of the players who cannot play his own system and the fresh employment of those who can.

It’s all about jurisdiction. If it’s been designated a FG road, it was built by the FG and it is upon them to maintain the road. All FG roads should be documented somewhere with maintenance date and repair date listed. The road as I see it doesn’t look like it’s seen a single bucket of asphalt.
You can’t expect the State government to do what is designated Federal . Every state has its budget. And if you are spending billions on the road and don’t pay your civil servants , or maintain your state roads- miss-allocation of funds.

again I ask - why is the coastal highway that urgent when we have projects like this all across the country ?

This is one of the problems of Nigeria.
Okay the governor should continue dancing to his nephews music while the people who elected him to better their lives continue to die and lose their lives.
The road passes through your state.
Your people are the ones using the road.

I quite remember that Nyesom Wike when he was a governor of Rivers State and clearly in opposition to Muhammadu Buhari's APC federal government never hid behind the fence of federal roads .Rather Wike constructed over 7 flyover bridges on so called federal roads in Port Harcourt to ease the suffering of Port Harcourt residents. That is what is called LEADERSHIP. Not attending every owambe party in town dancing like a jester.
In Ogun state I former governor Ibikunle Amosun built at least two flyovers near the Abiola Stadium to ease traffic in Abeokuta. These were built on Federal roads to ease the pain of his citizens.
The Late governor of Ondo state also built a flyover at Ore across the Federal Sagamu-Benin express way. He did not cry federal road excuses. He did it because he had integrity and knew that that Flyover will prevent accidents and save lives of the people of his state.

Some of you need to stop being fan boys of musicians. You need to stop excusing incompetence in government administration. You need to stop deflecting genuine criticism of incompetent state officials.
Adeleke cannot hide behind the excuse of federal roads because other governors have found ways to develop their states and help their people. He needs to stop dancing all over the place. Consult his fellow governors on how they went about if and get down to work.

As at Saturday May 17th, 2025, we cannot believe that in this present Nigeria there is a road as this bad, we made to understand that it is a Federal road, but Osun state Government, under the leadership of Senator Ademola Adeleke why can’t you do something as other States do?

Either repair it and task Federal Government Or call on FG for immediate action.

The question we never stopped asking “why is it that the worst road situation is the ones traced down to roads leading to the state capital, Osogbo Osun state from Oyo state?” what is happening?


Right from the former Governor, Rauf Aregbesola, Ex- Governor Gboyega Oyetola and to the incumbent Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke as the Osogbo-Iwo-Ibadan Highway needs urgent attention….

When will Governor Adeleke come to the rescue of the users of this highway? Passengers and motorists are waiting.

State Government’s reaction

The Spokesperson to the Osun State Governor, Mallam Olawale Rasheed while responding to questions on the situation of the road, said the Governor will still use the existing contractor awarded the contract by former Governor Oyetola.

The contractor was said to have been paid mobilization fee by the ex- governor.

He added that the contractor have been remobilized to the site for the completion of Osogbo-Iwo Road. This includes Iwo Township roads in which mapping and costing of properties in the right of way will give way, have almost been completed for the takeoff of the project.

I have never understood the rationality of a state government calling a road passing through your state territory "A FEDERAL ROAD."
The road passes through your state!
The road provides a gateway/exit to and from your state!
The people of your state are the ones that mostly use the road!

Fix it because of the security and safety of your own people. It is not rocket science!

Then what do I know. The governor probably has more pressing issues on his plate such as dancing and singing .

Serious football clubs handle failure promptly and appropriately.
