PoliticsRe: Senate Rejects Motion To Immortalise Humphrey Nwosu by Goosethetruth(m): 6:20pm On Mar 27, 2025
Everybody who was alive during the 1993 June 12 election knew who won because under the rules of option A4 results were announced at every polling booth openly. You queued behind the poster of the party or candidate you wanted to vote for and the presiding NEC officials did an open voice count.
It is a shame that Ibos and IPOB sympathisers like Senator Abaribe has come before the hallowed chambers of the senate to twist and turn history on its head in the usual Ibo way of revision of history to arm twist Nigerians into honouring a man who refused to complete the assignment of announcement of the results of the election.

At the point where the coward Humphrey Nwosu should have stood to be counted on the side of democracy he chickened out and joined the anti democratic forces of Sani Abacha and Ibrahim Babangida and elapsed into silence. He does not even deserve the useless one minute silence the senate gave to him.

Below are names of Nigerians that deserve to be honoured because of June 12.

1. Kudirat Abiola.- Murdered by the military.

2. Bagaldo Kaltho -journalist killed by the military with a bomb.

3. Alex Ibru- shot in the eye by the military.

4. Olu Onagoruwa's son who was shot by the military to spite the father.

5. Colonel Dangiwa Umar who resigned from the military and lost his commission because he stood for June 12 and opposed its annulment.

6. The numerous protesters on the streets of Lagos who were gunned down by the military forces while protesting against June 12 annulment.

Any attempt to honour the cowardly Humphrey Nwosu over the true heroes of the June 12 election is a spit on the collective faces of all Nigerians!

you are not a rivers State electorate, so you can never decide what will happen. As it’s today, the electorates loves governor Fubara and also working tirelessly for his reelection bid in 2027 governorship election
@Bolded
I wonder how you know this.
Wike shielded Fubara from the EFCC prior to the election. Wike and Fubara rigged the Rivers state elections to favour Fubara and Tinubu. Fubara reneged on whatever agreement was between a bunch of crooks.
Fubara is as much a rogue as Wike is.
You guys are only supporting and misleading Fubara because you hate Tinubu and Wike. Simple.
In my opinion they are all rogues and thieves.
However as I told you earlier if you think Wike and Tinubu will allow Fubara near power in Rivers state again so that he can scuttle their 2027 plans then you don't understand Nigeria politics.
I assure you that the state of emergency will be extended for another six months after the expiration of the first six months.
There is no way back for Fubara anyone who thinks otherwise is a political neophyte and just shouting Aswana! Aswana war songs emptily.

fubara will be restored back, it’s just 6 months that the adminstrator will used now.
If you think Fubara can ever get back the gubernatorial seat of Rivers state then you are a neophyte in Nigeria politics. I hope you know suspension can be extended for another 6 months after the expiration of the first six months if the sole Administrator tells the president that he has not finished his assignment. The National assembly will just rubber stamp an extension of an extra six months.

You need to understand that politics in Nigeria isn't Always what it looks like on the surface.
This is a premeditated perverse game with a predetermined result.
Don't worry in six months you and Fubara will understand the kind of game being played here.

Fubara is coming back before the expiration of the 6 months suspension with clarity and more understanding of how politics work, he has learnt that he needs to compromise for peace sake and not listen to the outside world when governing, he will also learn he is not the most powerful but can be powerful if he has the backing of the House, imagine when Bukola Saraki was in power did buhari achieve anything?
i hope he has learnt but for sure Fubara is coming back
Lol...😁😁😁

Six months will soon be up. The only certainty is Fubara continuing to expose himself as a political neophyte in this political power game.
The sole administrator has proven to be in Wike's political camp. President Tinubu obviously has a soft spot for Wike.
The sole Administrator is destroying all of Fubara's structures bit by bit.
I repeat for record purposes the writing on the wall is very clear FUBARA IS NEVER COMING BACK TO THE GUBERNATORIAL SEAT!
At the expiration of the first six months the state of emergency will be extended for another six months by the Presidency. Mark it in your diary. This is a high stakes political game that has a perverse predetermined outcome which is for Wike to win back all the political structures for Tinubu.

Hmmm...

I think by the time the Governor returns, he will find himself working with and surrounded by people he didn't appoint.

I also suspect that as part of the settlement deal for his return, he will have to agree to appoint a certain number of Commissioners, and key political appointees nominated by the Wike side.

There's also a good chance that Mr Fubara will meet a new Chief Justice.

The local governments too will most certainly not be under his control.

All of these will leave a returned Mr Fubara defenestrated, and more or less toothless. In office but not in power. He will still be able to govern, but only on terms acceptable to, and probably dictated by the Wike side.

If the above plays out as I speculate, Mr Fubara will have been on the receiving end of one of the most ruthless political beatings ever ditched out to a Governor since 1999.
Fubara is NEVER coming back to that gubernatorial seat. The initial 6 months suspension will be extended for another six months.
Except the supreme Court upturns the state of emergency Fubara is finished as a political force in Rivers state.

You lack basic knowledge of governance and power embedded in it. ( It's Tinubu that fighting FUBARA, but only using Wike and his boys for cover up, they don't want the opposition to use Rivers money in 2027) Tinubu knows he already lost popularity to win in any election, and he wants to sit tight at all cost, to achieve that, he is disterbilising every major opposition before 2027. Rivers State money too huge to ignore by sitting president that already lost popularity.

Bye.

NB. FUBARA has two things to fear.

1. IMPEACHMENT by assembly.

2. REMOVAL BY THE PRESIDENT. (by declaring state of emergency, if there is break down of law and order, if FUBARA tries what you highlight above, it would lead to total breakdown of law and orders, hence, Tinubu achieves his aims)
I don't want to start a back and forth with you but I tell you where your basic knowledge of governance ends is where my knowledge begins.
Nigeria operates a Federal system of government. Tinubu only has power over Rivrrs state because Fubara is a neophyte who behaves like he is a school pupil while Tinubu is his principal.
You are going to be impeached. Accepted but go down fighting. Don’t be docile like a dove.
Take out Wike and the speakers assets. I lived in Rivers State throughout Wike's administration as a governor. He demolished and destroyed the assets of all his political opponents throughout while insulting president Buhari everyday.
The only language these people understand is the language of violence and anarchy.
If I am Fubara Iknow I will be impeached but I will go out fighting.
I assure you that after impeachment Fubara will face EFCC and jail time so why go down like a donkey. Be like Samson and take as many of them with.you.as possible. Unfortunately with people like you telling Fubara not to fight back he doesn't stand the chance of an ice block in hell fire.

If you are in his shoe, what will you do differently?( Just explain and not to attack or criticise)
Doesn't Wike have assets in Rivers State?
Revoke the certificate of occupancy and demolish all Wike's property. These are assets stolen from Rivers people.
Prevent Wike entering Rivers state freely. Frustrate Wike's movement in Rivers State.

Set up a commission of enquiry and declare Wike's 8 years tenure a corruption laden regime.
Seize all his assets.
At least if you will finally be impeached go out fighting. Don't sit there meekly while Wike continues to treat you like an idiot.
The above tactics were how Wike kept his political enemies in check for 8 years demolishing their hotels and petrol stations. Does the speaker not have properties?
You are the executive governor not an ordinary citizen. Use your powers. Go down fighting and take the scalps of as many of your political enemies with you as you go down. If Wike wants anarchy give it to him very hot.

Sim Fubara is the weakest executive of a state I have ever seen. Weaker than Ambode whom I thought was a weakling.

Fubara is a dead duck. Wike will impeach him whenever he wants.
After impeachment Fubara will face trial for corruption from EFCC.

There is a policy called scorched earth policy for a reason. How can an executive governor watch your political opponents attacking you and you sit on your seat looking like a mugu.

Fubara is a lame duck governor.

While Wike is a clown with his verbosity and circus band in tow but the fact is the way the cards are stacked in this Rivers state political game I just can't see how Sim Fubara can survive when Wike finally decides to move against him.
Already the State assembly have passed three dangerous bills that are Bobby traps set for Fubara. These three bills concern the local government elections and the State electoral commission.
The State assembly has blatantly refused to recieve the governor to present his budget for the year by adjournment of sitting Sine die( indefinitely). This is a ticking time bomb lit under Governor Fubara who can only appeal to them to reconcile and hope they don't resume abruptly and begin impeachment proceedings against him.

Fubara despite being a sitting executive governor appears to be too weak and is sitting like a lame duck in a defensive mode waiting for Wikes next attack move in a game of chess.
It does not look good for Fubara and the clock is ticking fast except he grows a pair of balls and takes the battle to Wike both legally and illegally because that is what Wike would do if he was in his position.

Watched it last night. The only good thing I took from it was accountability from ineos for their mistakes and their focus on doing the right things but there will be some initial pain.

Also very shocking and disappointing that GNev's suggestion for the 40K was not something anyone at the club or ineos thought of and Sir Jim was surprised by it. It makes it scary to imagine who is coming up with creative solutions to the many problems they face if they couldn't do something as simple as that.

Did Arteta try to help Ramadale “improve on his errors?”
Did Klopp “coach” Henderson to help him run faster and protect his defense better?
Did Pep “improve” Kalvin Philips so that he becomes a more rounded midfielder?

If those coaches couldn’t do that, why the hell should it be Amorim’s job to “improve” Maguire and stop him from romancing the ball every freaking time he gets it, giving opponents enough time to close down on his teammates?
Going by this logic; What exactly is the job of the manager/coach?

We’ve seen coaches better than Nuno, Raiola and co come to United and fall flat on their ass. It’s not always about the coach.

How many players at Nottingham Forest and co keep making schoolboy mistakes? When Aina gets an opportunity to put the ball on the platter for Wood, does he take it or turn back and slow things down like Dalot did?
@Bolded,
I don't want to get into a back and forth argument but I just want to ask you: whose job is it to improve players when they keep making errors?
Does the coach just wring his hands and tear out his hair and complain in the media that the players can't play his SYSTEM?
OR
Does the coach double down, take it as a challenge and try to improve the player making errors?

These are what should be pondered because the players that United have in their squad are never supposed to be in the lower half of the table. The players may not be outstanding BUT I assure you that from what I have seen so far Amorim is not any better. In fact I am so sure that by December this year United will be looking for another coach.

I am certain if anyone had said Notthingham Forest, Brighton, Fulham , Bournemouth etc had a better squad than United before the season started most here would rained insult on that person but now we are suppose to believe the squad is not good enough for even a top 10 finish. Now we need 10 to 15 new players to finish above the likes of Bournemouth and Fulham.
Brighton,Fulham, Bournemouth and Nottingham Forest have cerebral and tactical coaches. In fact I will go further to say Marco Silva at Fulham,Andoni Iraola at Bournemouth, Fabians Hurzeler and Nuno Espirito Santos at Forest are BETTER coaches than Rueben Amorim because they don't keep complaining about how bad their work tools are in the media. They adapt and work with what they have got to achieve results. I don't see any of these coaches throwing their team under the bus. They silently go about their business and try to help their team finish as high up the league table as possible.
From Amorim's body language it is openly obvious he has given up on this season. He is not ready to make do with the players he has got but I assure you by December we will be having the renewed discussion on a new manager half way into the next season.

All this talk does not take away from the fact that Nnamdi Kanu is not being charged with any actual crime than "talking"
So why not cease opening gazillions of mundane threads on an issue in a competent court and await the outcome. That is if your terrorist leader Kanu and his charge and bail lawyers will not become unruly and try to disrupt the process again. This is why this case needs a no nonsense judge to curb the irrational and erratic idiosyncrasies of Kanu and his terrorist followers like you.
PoliticsRe: Why The Case Against Nnamdi Kanu Is Baseless And Weak by Goosethetruth(m):
gidgiddy:
Many critics of IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu, don't actually know what he is being charged to court for. Kanu was initially charged with 15 counts. The court struck out 8 for being baseless, leaving 7 charges.

Of the remaining 7 charges, only one actually accuses Kanu of doing something, and that is the charge that he imported a Radio Transmitter into Nigeria and labelled it 'for household use', but wanted to use it for Radio Biafra. This charge is laughable because importing Radio Transmitters into Nigeria is not banned, and Kanu was yet to use the Transmitter when it was seized by the authorities in Anambra. The Supreme court ruled that the Federal High Court in Abuja should not hear the case, but rather, a high court in Anambra should, which leaves 6 charges

But what really makes the case against Kanu really weak is that the rest of the 6 charges against him are not for what he did, but what he said!

The entire case Nnamdi Kanu by the Federal Government is:

"He said this on Radio Biafra"

"He said that on Radio Biafra"

The Federal Government could not point to any crime commited by Kanu, or done by what he said. Their case is based on what was said on an Internet Radio Station.

So where is the terrorism? Where is the treason? Where is the violence? Where is the treasonable felony?

Are they all based on utterances on the Internet?

Now you understand how weak the case against Nnamdi Kanu is, he is charged for nothing that goes beyond talking.
You this terrorism enabler. You have come again with your lies and playing the ostrich. I recall that you said more than this about the other terrorist Simon Ekpa before he was nabbed in Finland like a scrawny rat.
Every day you come here to lie and rant that there is no case against the terrorist Nnamdi Kanu. Why not wait for the trial to commence and let's see the final judgement and result?
Every day you come here and open endless threads trying to preempt the courts while cunningly and devilishly forgetting the fact that the terrorist Nnamdi Kanu and his charge and bail lawyers are the ones who have been frustrating the take off of this case for over 5 years.
Another judge has been made to remove herself from the case so that the whole court procedure starts from the beginning again further delaying the process because NNAMDI KANU DOES NOT WANT THE CASE TO GO TO TRIAL!
Yet Every day you come on line to tell lies to your fellow brain dead IPOB minions that there is no case against Kanu. Why not wait for the trial to begin?
You really need to give the lies a rest. It is monotonous, stale and boring. This was the same kind of lie you pulled out of your backside on the Nigeria Biafra civil war until you were constantly and consistently exposed as a low down dirty liar and a fraud.

These are the kind of football teams in the Portuguese Primeira Liga.

Ruben Amorim can run roughshod over these kind of half baked clubs sans Benfica and Porto. The English Premier league is a different kettle of tea with cerebral coaches from all over the world.
I am laughing out loud at anyone deluded that Amorim can win a single league title at Manchester United in the next 10 years.
