Many years ago, a man jumped off a high bridge in an effort to end his life. Fortunately, he lived through the ordeal but broke his back as a result of the fall, and ended up in a wheelchair. Death reigned as king, with a dominion from Adam to Moses. They didn't partake from the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil as did Adam, but they still sinned against God.

"Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam's transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come" - (Romans 5:14 The Evidence Bible).

Did the bible say, if you repent, NO. It clearly says if you believe. The same way I was born a sinner through the sin of Adam, I become righteous through Christ.

What is the yoke of BOUNDage (a bound for ages) in this context of the book of Galatians? It is the obedience to the Mosaic system rather than obedience to the NEW FAITH IN CHRIST AND HIS FINISHED WORKS. The graveclothes and napkins bounded the hands,legs and face of Lazurus. He cannot walk in the light,truth neither can he see the light. In the same manner, many new testament believers are bound by the laws of Moses, rules, regulations, ordinances, legalism etc. and they cannot walk in truth(legs bound), they can't lift up holy hands in worship to the new Kings of glory (hands bound) and they can't see the light of the glorious gospel in the new testament(face\eyes bound). They are saved by Grace but want to keep the grace by keeping rules, laws of Moses and ordinances etc. Only TRUTH can set free and Christ is the truth!

Since this event took place under the shadows (The Law), what then is the substance that unveils the truth! Scripture says, FAITH is the SUBSTANCE. Hebrews 11:1. So then, faith in what? Faith in the finished works of the cross of Christ. The Cross terminates every works of the law and religion of the law bring freedom in Christ and defeated all principalities over a Christian. Judaizer Christians think that 'faith in the finished works of Christ IS TOO SIMPLE and that obedience to certain rules, certain portion of Mosaic system must be 'added' to faith in the finished works of Christ. There is no such gospel in the new testament! Presenting such gospel is keep in BOUNDage we that had been MADE ALIVE IN CHRIST BY THE RESURRECTED POWER OF CHRIST. Celebrate your freedom in Christ, only don't use your freedom or liberty as a license for ungodliness and satisfying the demands of the flesh.

Legalism and legalist preachers brings rules, regulations, Laws of Moses and BIND it on new testament believers such as no wearing earrings, rules on what to and not to wear, who to and not associate with if they are same church members, no wearing of trousers, no make-ups, not observing the Sabbath day, not looking nice on your wedding day etc. All these and the likes are what BINDS a believer and no longer are they controlled by the Spirit of God.

Our Lord was born and lived under the law, the dispensation of the Mosaic law still in effect and fully in operation (Galatians 4:4); the people still being under the law. Scriptures also reveal that this law, the whole Mosaic system is a shadow of good things TO COME NOT THE REALITY NOR THE VERY IMAGE OF THE GOOD THINGS (Hebrews 10:1). Therefore, all events and practices are shadows. What is a shadow? It is a shade caused by the interception of light (a light casting a dark shade). It is an image cast by an object and representing the form of that object, not the very object itself which stand as the substance and it is a sketch, outline, adumbration.

Hence, Gospel of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John that records life and events of our Lord are still UNDER THE LAW and events therein are SHADOWS according to Hebrews 10:1. Today, we begin to look beyond the SHADOWS and look at the SUBSTANCE\IMAGE\REALITY AND LIGHT that cast the SHADOWS.

You need to use other scriptures to unloose that text. The law stands for 'imperfection' Hebrews 7:19. What then is the TRUTH in that text? Christ's message was coded and hidden. The Epistles revealed what was said under the law. The law was a SHADOW. Christ is the SUBSTANCE born under the SHADOWS. The Epistles revealed the substance out of the shadows. The law is part of the Old Covenant (old wineskin) and the Epistles (New wineskin) on which the New Testament is revealed must not mix with the Old or else, you ruin the whole wineskin\skin (body of Christ). I think you need to understand that messages of Jesus under the law was 'coded'. When Paul says it was 'revealed' to him. It must then mean it was first hidden or coded, then it has to be unloosed or interpreted by someone that have the revelation or someone it was revealed to. There's no contradictions between Christ and Paul - Paul revealed Christ's revelation, if it 'seems' contradictory, then you have a work to do - STUDY!

shdemidemi: A perfect example of grace in the Old Testament was when God told the Israelites to put the blood of the lamb on lintels and door post to avoid the wrath of the spirit of death. The spirit would not go in to the house to check who and who is in there, as long as the blood covers the house every one in there is covered. If Pharaoh's family were to be under the blood they would have been saved.This story best depicts the issue of grace, on the day of judgement God isn't looking at what I have done or what I haven't. The blood of the lamb/Christ covers the church and justifies ( just as if we never sinned)us, God will see us just like he saw Adam before the fall.

You are too loaded, not to flatter you o. You see, one thing I had done over the time here is to 'first' cast out the law mentality out of the Christian people then teach Grace. I had done that over time. Now, is the time of Grace gospel. The Grace gospel is not for the young and immature Christians. If Peter can say, some things Paul taught are 'hard' to understand, then it is true of many today.

Even in my Grace gospel\teachings, there are things I cannot teach but I know. The reason is, some will take it out of context. Others will blow it up. Some will MIS-understand it. The New Covenant is so powerful that if I'm to expand what you said up there from the book of Hebrews, some will say or think it is heresy! However, what you said up there is a strong meat for the mature Christians.

The law was given by Moses BUT Grace and truth came by Jesus Christ. Law and Grace\truth don't mix. Mark 2:22
