@ Omexonomy, How do you mean he could be 'greatly' wrong? The man and his wife mentioned in the article, I know them very well on their T.V ministry. Since, I've watching them, they ALWAYS ask for money to go to Africa and give them water in Africa. They've been airing same place in Africa since I knew them and portraying Africa as a very bad place. I'm not saying there aren't places like they air on T.V but airing SAME place to seek for money is simply suspicious. If in deed, they are making progress, there should be an update of event being aired on T.V

Two, The article is VERY accurate. I presently have ministries that writes me asking for money on a weekly basis. One of them, I bought a study material from them and the next things I begin to get in the mail is asking for financial support. Some even ask for money to go give to Israel and many more. These are the things going in the body of Christ today and it's not like anyone telling me, I experience this things myself. Scripture is being fulfilled in our eyes - false men have hijacked the the church and they must be contended with.

Alex has spoken well and I believe the Spirit of God agrees to the content of his words. Personally, I do not see any form of 'determent' or 'trying to deter' me from teaching or preaching the truth that sets free. When people now comes to God for what they can get and not for who God is, then there's problem - It is nothing other than the Gospel of 'bait and catch'

Yes, you're right - God's people are being robbed with the 'bait' of false hopes and still same poverty increase daily. When reading Alex, I said to myself, how can we say someone is poor on one hand and on the other hand, such person can buy miracle pure water for 5,000 Naira? But, the point is, these people are presented with falsehood and since they believe their pastors is so anointed, they fall the trap. There is need to set them free and present the liberty of the Grace Gospel, only not using Grace for fueling sinful nature.

The ways of God are lined up in the word of God. When God was getting ready for set the type of the church free (the people of Israel), God had to first prepare his servant, Moses. I believe I'm still be prepared towards the great task ahead. The Lord is faithful. Hence, how shall they hear and be set free unless one is sent. Remember me in your prayers that God's will will uphold and keep me for this great task.

First, a standing ovation to you for such an insightful article. God bless you so much - what manner of love the father had bestowed on us, and in this you've done, I see the love of the Father and for the brethren flowing from you in your article.

Second, my heart is so heavy by the truth in your article. You have carefully observed the whole situation and came up with nothing but the truth of the matter. Lemme use this opportunity to say something. I left home (Nigeria) for the States few years ago (don't wanna be specific now). I've been on this forum before I left. Ever since I'm here and hearing\reading the situation of things back home in the body of Christ and seeing the difference how Christianity is practices here in the States plus careful examination of scriptures, I have come to conclusion something had eaten so deep into the Nigerian Christianity. Hence, I do not see what many practice in Nigeria as Christianity but CHURCHianity and Judaism.

Third, I know too well that coming to teach (believed my gift is teaching) God's people to liberate them; one must step on toes. It will mean some people are gonna be out of business. I'm very much aware of that. However, I believe God will take care of that and more so, I'm not ignorant of the devices of the devil. To that effect, the LORD shall reign!

I have many things to say concerning this topic especially as it relates to one bible different doctrines. But first, let's talk about your statement:

This is the only statement I don't understand and don't wanna read my meaning or understanding into it. Hence, you can explain because I understand from scriptures, not everything about Christianity is 'spiritual'. We must understand the things that are spiritual and the things that are physical. Let's look into this before we continue.

I believe from God's word that we need involvement of our human mind en-capsuled\depending on the Spirit of the word and of truth. This requires proving the text in its original language and context - This is one of the things missing which had brought about different interpretation and different doctrines.

Also, traditions of men had also made many to mis-understand and\or mis-interpret God's word and hereby resulting in different doctrines on same subject.

Above are the words of Jesus himself where he stated clearly that he regularly consumes wine to the extent that some hypocrites like we have here on NL accused him of being a winebibber some other bible versions even use the word drunkard.
