Well, I had to respond because sometimes, some people make us feel bad for speaking against falsehood using sentiments and emotion to appeal to us or appeal to the weak in faith. The bible says,

We have said it loud and clear, there is nothing like tithe for Christian/Christianity as the New Testament only began AFTER ressurection and ascension of Christ. I am doing an in-depth exposition in the book of Hebrews chapter 7 where tithe (both pre-law and tithing according to the law) was abolished. Jesus NEVER preached tithed because he himself never tithed. The Apostles NEVER tithed and never taught tithing to the New Testament believers because none produced tithable items. Those who use the the scripture of Matthew 23:23 and the likes to support tithe are simple twisting the scriptures to justify tithing for the New Testament Christians. Tithing is Fraud in the name of God but giving is what the New Testament teaches. Tell them to show us where Christians were taught by the Apostles to tithe AFTER calvary and resurrection/ascension, they can't present just one single scripture. What wrong signal? You are the very one sending wrong signal because you always defending your partners in crime. As a Christian brother, one of my duties is to expose falsehood so the name of God is not blackmailed. It is not sin or crime exposing falsehood but it is crime and sin to defend falsehood especially when the name of God is being used to defraud God's people. Do I have to make a report to you when I preach to sinners. The most effective evangelism you preach to sinners is the one lived by your life in your daily living. When a sinner sees a so called Christian committing adultery and fornication, what does such Christian have to say to such sinners?

Why do you always portray Gods people as poor. Did Jesus' die to make people poor? And why complain for poor brethren if there is any, you are against the message if prosperity after all.. One of the characteristics of a true MoG is not being money conscious. A true servant of God is not money conscious (Daniel 5:13-17, 2 Kings 5:14-19,1 Timothy 3:3). He does not ask people for an offering before he prophesies, or asks people to “sow a seed” in order to claim their prophecies or the blessings of God. Besides, a true servant of God doesn't sell prayer cloth or shawl as we do not have such practices in the New Testament church.

It's time to kick all the fraudsters out of business and out of the body of Christ. Any pastor or preacher that sells or promotes prayer cloth, mantle or prayer shawl is a FRAUD in the name of Christ. Jesus gave us the true believers an example by chasing the thieves out of the temple and so the true believers MUST chase of these fraud preachers out of business.

The Lord warns us of the rising of Antichrist church leaders saying,

"For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many" - Matthew 24:5.

This scripture does not mean that people will literally claim that they are Jesus Christ of Nazareth. The word Christ means “the anointed one” so the word of God is saying that many carnal men and women will claim that they are anointed men and women of God. The above scripture has been fulfilled, for there are many unregenerated self-acclaimed anointed men and women of God who are building their own kingdoms and empires using the name of Christ.

The Antichrist leaders in the structural church include the superstar pastors and bishops who are acting as mediators between their congregation and God; apart from them in their church, no other believer is entitled to hear from God. They have no interest in discipling their church members and releasing them into their God appointed assignments; instead, they cage their members to achieve their own selfish visions; their motive behind having a large congregation is to calculate the collection of tithe and offerings! They gather people around themselves only to raise money with the focal point of their messages always directed towards money or material matters instead of Jesus Christ.

They are from the world and therefore speak from the viewpoint of the world, and the world listens to them - 1 John 4:5.

These ministers of Satan use all sorts of gimmicks to steal from their victims! False ministers operate local churches as a family business; for instance, in their congregations, the husband will act as the senior pastor and their wives will act as second in command, followed by their children. It is not necessary that when a pastor dies the wife or the children take over. God doesn't require an assembly of believers to be operated like a monarch. False Shepherds feed themselves not the Sheep, Jesus said that a good shepherd laid down his life for the sheep (John 10:11).

Today, the sheep are laying their lives down for the Antichrist shepherds. The leaders are the first to drive fine cars, live in expensive houses and mansions, and own private jets due to the monetary contributions of the saints! The saints return home to endure sleepless nights, thinking of where their next meal will come from or how their bills are going to be paid. Whatever monetary collections in the church should benefit every member of the Church, especially the poor, not just the pastor.

In the early church, all the believers were one in heart and mind. No one claimed that any of their possessions was their own, but they shared everything they had. With great power the apostles continued to testify to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. And God's grace was so powerfully at work in them all that there were no needy persons among them. For from time to time those who owned land or houses sold them, brought the money from the sales and put it at the apostles' feet, and it was distributed to anyone who had need (Acts 4:32-35).

Leaders should be an example, just like Jesus Christ, "though he was rich, yet for our sake he became poor, so that we through his poverty might become rich" (2 Corinthians 8:9). Genuine Christian leaders should do likewise, because that is the principle of the Kingdom of God. If the present day church leaders (especially the Pentecostal circles) are true Christians who believe that this world will end soon (2 Peter 3:8-12), they would discontinue accumulating material wealth for themselves. What sense does it make to hoard wealth upon the earth that will soon be destroyed? Jesus says,

“Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also" - Matthew 6:19-21.

The false leaders exalt themselves which is contrary to the principle of Christ and the apostles; for instance, Jesus Christ was a servant among the 12 apostles, and the apostles were not special among the rest of the believers; they were all brothers in Christ and there were no presidents or founders among them. Apostle Peter was not called “Papa” or “General overseer”; he was just a simple brother in the local assembly. Jesus said,

"But you are not to be called 'Rabbi,' for you have only one Master and you are all brothers. And do not call anyone on earth 'father,' for you have one Father, and he is in heaven. Nor are you to be called 'teacher,' for you have one Teacher, the Christ. The greatest among you will be your servant. For whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and whoever humbles himself will be exalted" - Matthew 23:8-12

Any Christian leader who allows his congregation to exalt him is an Antichrist. Jesus said, "if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me" (John 12:32). This simply means that if a minister of the gospel is presenting Jesus Christ to his congregation, they should look upon Jesus Christ and glorify Christ, not the pastor. The reasons many Christians talk more of their pastors and fight hard to defend their pastor at any length instead of Christ is that the pastor presents himself to the congregation, not Christ.

In some churches if the “senior pastor” isn't preaching during the “Sunday service”, many of the members won't attend which shows that the foundation of that local assembly is laid upon the pastor not on Jesus Christ. If the foundation of a church is built on Christ, each member will minister and preach Christ and manifest the fruits of the Holy Spirit.

Most people think that anyone who makes a prediction that manifests is a prophet, but this is not true. There are many magicians, astrologians, witchdoctors, occultists, shamans and African traditional healers who can accurately predict an event (Acts 16:16). There are certain qualities that are supposed to be seen in the life of a true prophet of God. Consider a few of these qualities as spiritual insight from the word of God...

1. The Calling and Gifting: A prophet must receive his call and gifts from God, not anointed by another prophet or receive his gift by other spiritual means (Ephesians 4:11).

2. Evidence of the fruits of the Spirit: Despite the accuracy of one’s prophecies or predictions, if that person does not have the characters of Christ, if he is not bearing the fruits of the Holy Spirit which are love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control etc (Galatians 5: 22). That person is not a true prophet of God (Matthew 7:16, 20).

3. Humility: A prophet must be extremely humble, for the secret of the LORD is with them that fear him; and he will shew them his covenant (Psalms 25:14). The fear of the LORD means to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth (Proverbs 8:13). God cannot reveal his secret to a proud person! Moses was very humble—more humble than any other person on earth. (Numbers 12:3).

4. Ability to teach and make disciples for/unto Christ: As mentioned earlier, a New Testament Prophet must be an absolute preacher or a teacher of an accurate revelation of God. Jesus commanded every Christian to go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. To teach the new disciples to obey all that He has commanded (Matthews 28:19). One who only forecasts for people without rebuking the wicked and teaching repentance and salvation to sinners is not of Christ - Shout it aloud, do not hold back. Raise your voice like a trumpet. Declare to my people their rebellion and to the house of Jacob their sins. (Isaiah 58:1)

5. Does not contradict the word of God: A true prophet's words will be in absolute harmony with the written words of God; for instance, a true prophet cannot proclaim peace to the wicked when the Lord has spoken through the prophets of old that there shall be no peace unto the wicked. The scripture reads,

Look to God's instructions and teachings! People who contradict his word are completely in the dark. (Isaiah 8:20).

6. Genuine love of/for Christ: True love of Christ is what makes every true child of God, for The Lord has commanded us to love other people just as he loves us. He says when we do love other people exactly the same way He loves us means we are his true disciples (John 13:34-35). If one performs miracles and prophecies accurately without fulfilling God’s commandment which is “to Love” as Jesus loves, he will still be known as a false prophet - "Not everyone that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? And in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity" (Matthew 7:21-23).

7. Fearlessness of men: True prophets are fearless; they don’t compromise the word of God, but always willing to die for the truth (1 kings 22:10-51; Mark 12:14).

8. Not a fame seeker(s): True Prophets don’t seek for popularity, but always seek for a deeper intimacy with God. Not a president or head high-ranking governmental official can bribe a prophet to make them compromise the word of the Lord. And they don’t advertise miracles (John 7: 1-5).

9. Doesn't prophesy at their own will: A true prophet does not prophesy any time he wishes, or any time people consult him. A prophet prophesies only when the Holy Spirit moves him (2 Peter 1:20). You can’t pay a prophet and ask him to prophesy to you.

10. Not money conscious: A true prophet is not money conscious (Daniel 5:13-17, 2 Kings 5:14-19,1 Timothy 3:3). He does not ask people for an offering before he prophesies, or asks people to “sow a seed” in order to claim their prophecies.

11. Directing young believers' attention to Christ: Directly or indirectly, a true prophet does not receive praises or worship from people; instead, he will sincerely abase himself and allow the people to see Jesus Christ. A true prophet does not allow people to depend on him, he encourages people to inquire directly from Jesus Christ (John 1:24-36). The purpose of the prophetic ministry is to help in bringing people to Jesus Christ, equipping and building God's people in the body of Christ (Ephesians 4:12). A prophet does not consider his assignment as a guiding ministry and with craftiness, uses it to replace the Holy Spirit.

12. Prayer: A true prophet are intercessors; real spiritual watchmen who bear the burden of the saints and the nations of the earth in his heart. "O Jerusalem, I have posted watchmen on your walls; they will pray day and night, continually. Take no rest, all you who pray to the LORD" (Isaiah 62:6).

13. Preachers of righteousness: Prophets are preachers of holiness and righteousness (2 Peter 2:5, Isaiah 58:1). Not only do they preach holiness, they practice what they preach. "These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God" (Genesis 6:9).

14. Not a man of diverse faith: A true prophet is a man of one faith; He believes and establishes his faith in Christ alone (John 14:6). Any person who claims to be a true born again prophet of God, but still follows the teachings and practices other religions apart from Christ is an agent of darkness. One cannot claim to be a Christian and at the same time believe and practice Metaphysics, mysticism, spiritualism, shamanism, Amorc, Universalism, Islam, New Age movement, Hinduism, Mind Science, Gnosticism and so forth.

With all of these dimensions, dynamics and exploits of faith by the Old Testament faith examples, the bibles says, "all these people died having faith but they didn't receive the things that God had promised them, but they saw these things coming in the distant future and rejoiced. They acknowledged that they were living as strangers with no permanent home on earth". verse 13-16, 39.

What kind of statement is this? After telling us what all these people achieved with faith, we are still told they did not receive the things promised but only saw it from a distant future and rejoiced. What then are things promised and since all these people with their kind of faith did not receive the things promised, with what kind of can we receive the things promised?

What is promised is a better country - a heavenly one. All the examples of faith ONLY had faith in the shadows and type but the faith of the Son of God is centered in the "substance". This is the reason faith is defined as the "substance of things hoped for...." Hebrews 11:1. The historic promised land or country is a shadow but the heavenly country is the better things prepared for us.

With what kind of faith can believers obtain this better promise? It is the faith of the son of God, the faith that supercedes the OT examples of faith. According to the writer of Hebrews, it is the faith that is authored and finished or perfected in Christ Jesus.

In conclusion, the writer of Hebrews is transiting the NT believers from the OT examples of faith to the faith of the Son of God, authored and finished/perfected in/with Christ. What then is the faith of the Son of God? It is the faith beyond all these OT examples of faith because they did not receive the promise with their kind of faith though they were commended for such faith. It is the faith beyond the Laws of Moses. It is the faith beyond the shadows and types unto faith in reality and substance in which Christ fulfilled. It is the faith that rest in Christ and the finished work at calvary. It is the faith that Christ is the one who died for me/us not any of the OT faith examples nor the prophets. It is the faith that is authored and finished in and by Christ. It is the faith that is better than all the faith examples and heroes of faith. Such faith is ONLY obtained, authored, finished and perfected in Christ Jesus!
