cramjones: It is very funny people are rejoicing that Nigeria is promoted as a good country for outsourcing. Do you know what they are indirectly saying? It means Nigerians can be easily exploited...it means the vast unemployment creates the right environment for foreign countries to hire very qualified graduates for peanut wages to increase their profitability. This is no good news! Rather the good news should be millions of successful start ups are springing up, jobs are being created by Nigerians for Nigerians. There is nothing to be happy about in this news! To me being a great destination for outsourcing simply corroborates the ratings of Nigeria being a FAILED STATE! This is my submission!Gbam! Your head dey there. I don't understand how anyone can rejoice at such a development. |
What a very idiotic post. Outsourcing is modern day slavery wherein workers are paid peanuts. How can anyone equate that with success? |
Christianity and confusion go hand in hand. I find it hilarious how every Christian is quoting scriptures and giving it their own interpretation. This is a fundamental problem with religion. No one is right and no one is wrong, for how can you tell another person that their interpretation is wrong! In Mathematics, the statement that the limit of the function f: R -> R, x -> sin(x) is 1, as x approaches Π / 2 is fact. No other mathematician can ever disagree. But in religion, you can twist any verse to suit your provincial view. |
@Desola Whoever you are, I dey gbadun you 100%. Tell it like it is. There is nothing wrong in saying that this criminal should be treated like a Brit and that all blame should fall on him and his society; however, if the scenario had been a positive one, the members of his Nigerian tribe will have already started to brag about the superiority of their clan while disparaging the other ones. Hypocrites. We can't have it both ways. Indeed, I have never seen a Nigerian-born Caucasian proudly and publicly claiming his "Nigerian citizenship". We are the ones who instruct our children not to speak our native languages, because we are ashamed of them; we are the ones sleeping at foreign embassies and holding vigils so that we can get to Oyinboland. Shame no dey catch us at all at all. |
mbulela: The boy is probably British with Nigerian parents. If he won Nobel Peace prize, wouldn't Nigerians also claim him? Who no like good thing? |
Desola: I can see that you are gagging for a b1tch slap but you are in too much of a hurry to get it. It will come to you in no time, don't worry. At this present time, I have the attention of the amiable Prof.Corruption so you would understand why I do not have time for non-entities such as yourself.LMAO! Fatality. This is pure awesomeness. ![]() |
Nigerians and hypocrisy are twin siblings! It is very interesting to see most of the Nigerians on this site claiming that such deeds do not happen in Nigeria. Where do I start from? |
Will a day ever come when foreigners pray to God to fulfill their dreams of coming to our countries? I hope to see that day sha. |
jaybeez: God created everything but he has no control over your will, the choice you make. Man has free will, A right to choice. That is why the World is in a mess. Not that God didn't create a nice world for man to exist in but out of our own choices, it has been turned into a hell-hole. If you decide to jump off a bridge today, it is matter of your choice, you made up your mind to do it or you might as well have said no, I am not going to jump. It is choice based. God has no control over that. Remember it is out of choice you believe in God to let him help & direct the choices you make. God is Love, men hate and destroy because they cannot understand what love is.God has no control over my will? That's a new one! But doesn't God KNOW that I will jump over the bridge? If God is truly omniscient, then He knows ALL. He knows the beginning and the end. Of course, He would know that I would "choose" to jump off the bridge. So if He already knows my future actions, how can you say that I have free will? The existence of a God precludes free will; unless, of course, He is not omniscient; in which case, he is not God. |
^ But according to you geniuses, God created everything and is responsible for everything. If nature doesn't intend for homosexuals to thrive, why then are they in existence? Or are you saying that something that God didn't intend is happening? That would mean that your God is not as powerful as you think! |
Tunsbobo: Same sex marraige in france? Not our business! It can never be legalised in Nigeria in the nearest futureEpileptic power supply. Epileptic water supply. Bad roads. Bad Hospitals. Bad schools, etc. You folks have your work cut out for you, so how come you have time to ban gay marriage? Talk about misplaced priority. |
^ So the devil is succeeding and your god is failing. Shame on your god for allowing this to happen. After all, everything that happens is his will. |
lastpage: None of the "Gay Couple" is the NATURAL FATHER/MOTHER of the Child they are adopting!Seriously? How can one be the parent of the child that one is adopting? Of course the person adopting a child is not the NATURAL parent. That would imply that heterosexual parents can't adopt children also, since they are not the natural parents of the children. Besides, lots of male homosexuals people use surrogate mothers while lesbians use sperm banks. A-town:So according to you, barren women, impotent men, and old people have no right to adopt and raise kids, since nature is not in their favor? Where do you geniuses come up with these rules? How do you know nature's laws? |
Afam4eva: Jesse jackson does not understand the idiosyncrasies of NIgeria, ...No human on earth understands the idiosyncrasies of Nigeria. |
^ Of course it is. This is not a place for idiiots. Write coherent sentences so that other folks can understand you. |
emmykk: one thing that users of nairaland is notorious for is about their answer and reply pattern, normally hang on insult.i sorry for my country people.dont worry .dont tell me again. Is this English? |
emmykk: facebook is not in nigeria na,and as a fan of nairaland that is y am asking.i have never seen it drop before.i dont want all those non-sense host u will soon suggests.i need the one that works.i know bluehost and hostigator, but just that the process of paying for those in nigeria here is not clear.beside i need solution not talk and talk as u just didAnd neither is Nairaland, for it is hosted by an American company! |
^ Oga Ijawkid, why should I support or not support other people's choices? You are acting as if my validation is needed. Why do you and your ilk feel so important? Why should other people's actions be judged based on our acceptance. I find this morbid obsession of yours with what homosexuals do in their bedroom highly troubling. I will be applying to graduate school in a few months, is that OK with you? I will also make sure to seek your acceptance when making other decisions in my life. |
@ijawkid Your question makes no sense! Consider these questions: Do you like or enjoy when your parents have s_e_x? Do you like when your neighbors eat in the morning? Do you like it when Jonathan wears his hat? All these questions are analogous to yours. They are none of your business. We don't have to like it or not. It is none of our business. As long as they are not disturbing our peace, why should we care? |
There is ugly and there is pristine WOWOrity. My dear, I hope day you are not one of them. Because if you are, to find husband go hard you o. ![]() |
peteregwu: we don't want. American government is not the type we can trust. God forbid. they don't regard God. and they always have their own plans. they love oil and I believe that alone will make them influence our government negatively. And Nigerians do? |
Since Seun has decided to sew his lips to the buttocks of those peace loving Muslims, I have decided to sign out of Nairaland for a week. If by then he hasn't detached his lips, I'll relegate myself to the bench and join non-posters association of NL. The people who made--and still make--NL successful are the posters. No posts, no NL. See you lovely folks in one week.. |
Seun: I am very sorry about this.Take that 'sorry' and shove it where the sun doesn't shine. Coward. I do not understand why everyone is so afraid of those Muslims. |
Bump! |
