lanre316: Rooting Flashing ROMs Changing imei etc
Those cool things we do on those MTK tecno phones Naaaa, only the IMEI part is correct, which in itself a disadvantage. As for rooting, flashing roms etc, it's better on snapdragon devices. I know you are referring to rooting without pc using kingroot and the likes, those days are gone now. Can't even remember the last time I saw someone using an mtk device talking of flashing roms. |

wizzywisdom: I hope to get a solution here.....
Here's the problems..... My friend woke up last week and found out his Redmi 5A isn't getting network anymore. He borough he phone to me at work. First I though it was a sim problems but after I tried different sim and there was still no network, I decide to run factory reset but the problems persist.
We took the phone to Redmi Office opposite Awolowo Glass House in Ikeja on Wednesday last week. To our surprise the security man there told us they don't repair phone there!!! That's its just an office (you guys should know the place na, its at computer village) he said the only Care Center they have is at Cash&Carry in Ikeja, that even at Cash&Carry they won't repair it. He said they only repair Redmi Note 7 upwards.
Guys we are shock!!! Can anyone be of help You tried different sims from different network and still no network? Have you checked if the IMEI and MEID still displays? Lastly, is the phone rooted? |

Update will begin automatically, don't stop it till it's completed, takes around 15 mins. Ensure you switch on data during the process. |

Shegun010: I rebooted, still no difference. I switched off and on and I restarted, still persisted. Then someone either turned on something or it's a bug. Check developer options if this is enabled mistakenly.
