Is there any way to activate a home screen notification that shows beside the icon for sms on redmi 7? I only get it as Pop up on the task bar which I access by dragging down the current active screen. I checked settings but it was not there.
Some themes can do that for you, can't remember any for now.
Ok try these themes and observe, keboen v10, project X NY, Oneui.

Why is my rn7 closing apps by itself when busy with it. Apps like mx player, score hero and google chrome
Settings - battery and performance - choose apps - tap the 3 dots on the top right of your screen and click show system apps - scroll to any of the apps, click it and select 'no restrictions'.

Hello everyone, I am in a fixed between redmi 7 and realme 3. Which one is better and what's their pros and cons. Thank you
Realme 3 is better especially in terms of processing power, if you like to explore, go with it but I will personally stick with the Redmi 7 only because of the support it will get.

Did you recharge the line and made any call same day you bought the sim? If no, sim has been blocked, call customer care by dialing 111.

This particular pop-up mechanism drains it faster.
Don't see how the mechanism itself should be responsible for this since its not popping in and out during this period, might be a software ish.

Mehhn, what can I say. My experience with the Redmi Note 7 has been one of the best. Maybe because I just came from the Infinix Hot 4 lite but this phone is bang on. I love this phone, everytime I look at it. I fall in love with it everytime. I'm giving all my love to this phone, even now that my girlfriend just broke up with me. Lol.
This phone is worth it honestly. Thanks to everybody that indirectly convinced me to buy the LOML grin through their wonderful comments. No pictures for now cos I've not seen the best scenery for good shots.
Enjoy jare, we know the feeling here grin.

How do I wipe off individual apps running on the phone without wiping off all opened apps? What I'm seeing is that multiplication sign enclosed in a circle which closes all apps.
Follow screenshot.

exccellent sound system (but music stop whenrver you close music app).
Go to settings - Battery and performance - choose apps (under battery saver) - tap the 3 dots at the top right corner of your screen and click 'show system apps) - scroll down to music - select 'no restrictions'. Your music app shouldn't turn off again in the background. Meanwhile, very few persons care about the default music app, why not try 'Play Music' or other third party music players.

My infinix note 3 pro too that was replaced by Carlcare (after the discovery that one I bought had factory error) has never given me any issue. Kudos to them
Concerning RN7, the remarks I have been seeing people say about t it is rhta it is a really great device but it has a poor RAM ma management, but you are saying otherwise. Pls can you close all your opened apps and then click on the "minimize" key to see how much RAM is used?
One last one.... The "back" button that is located at the left side down portion of the screen and the "minimize" button located at the down right part of the screen, can they be altered? (samsung new A series has the capability of inverting it laterally. Just want to know about RN7)
Ram management is great jare, just get any 4gig ram version. You have don't know a phone with good ram management just be looking at how much ram is free / available, but by how many apps it can hold in the background without restarting any when opened. In the days I played much with the Redmi Note 5 4/64 version, it seemed the amount of free ram increased with the more apps one opens grin. As a side note, some devices that have much free / available ram when apps are opened in the background struggle to keep them running, that's poor ram management! Ram management is not just in numbers but in action. Remember the popular saying ' unused ram is wasted ram'.

On the back button ish, the one you saw has already been switched, it comes on the right side of the device by default, there's obviously the option to switch its position.

Until your screen breaks and they tell you 30k to fix. Even Samsung office won't mercy for you on their price..infact they collect more. Samsung fones are all about the screen.. that's why i offloaded my S8. And when i got to buy another fone i went for Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 instead and it is top class..sleek and beautiful.48mp sharp camera..I can never use Samsung again their screen no be here. But thir fones are lovely and crazy.. Samsung's make sense but na the screens spoil their show
Then you better brace up, because by next year, virtually every OEM will be using that same expensive screen.

Tried holding power button for as long as 15 secs? If it doesn't work, then plug it to power and hold power button + volume down. If nothing happens, then open it up and remove the battery connector, reinsert it and try power on again.

Sometimes it's due to the fact that some cards have not been registered for online transactions, sometimes you'll need to 'Appeal' the card (by uploading scanner copies of your recognised ID and ATM cards).

I assure you that the face value of that J4 core will be more than that of the Redmi 6

No offense intended, just stating fact
This is not true, a used Redmi note 4 (a two- year old device) can easily be sold for over 35k currently, meanwhile I saw a Thread where someone has been trying to sell a Galaxy J7 Pro for less than 50k, that's about half of the cost price. Speaking from experience, Samsung mid range phones don't have good resale value, even the flagships suffer same, but it's worse with the lower tier phones.

Redmi 6, Redmi 7A are better phones by far.
