That's a low end phone, no where near the note 5, unless you mean the Redmi note 6 pro (this is essentially a Redmi note 5 too and unnecessarily expensive).
Xionez: I thought so too. Took a photo to that effect just incase "I wake up". I loved how sturdy the cable was. Its easily viewed from the pic below. This is another reason why I also loved the AKGs. Quality sound with sturdy/braided cable. A win-win if you ask me. I hate when a cable twists up so much and starts breaking thereby exposing the fragile wires it encases. Some become sticky after some weeks of use.
You're right about the cable, bought two of these almost 7 months ago, so far so good, both doing great even with the mal- handlings .
Xionez: I've got the AKGs and I'm quite impressed by the sound output. I had to get thmlem because no one was stocking UiiSiis and Rocks. I wonder how the Rock would sound.
I have heard the UiiSii HM7 and yeah, they sound perfect. Bass has definition. You feel the sublevels especially when you cycle through queued music. Also, the bass note seems to be unique to each music, and not the same throughout the playlist. The mids, highs etc are also unique to each song giving each their own characteristics. And all can be heard without Viper4android doing its thing in the background.
Unfortunately, it wasn't mine so I had to sadly return it to the owner.
I am wondering why Protein0 and co aren't stocking those. Maybe 5 or 10 pieces depending on demand. Anyways, I'll be using my AKGs till then.
EDIT: Slot sells original AKGs but without the pouches it normally comes with. Got mine for 3k...after wasting some cash on Jumia.
Those AKGs can't be original, they cost way more. I just checked Amazon to get user reviews of AKGs priced around $10, and was not surprised about the many negative reviews, many claim it's fake.
Yagazee: I love Amoled display. The Redmi Mi 9 SE has a good screen, Amoled display. But N136,000 on AliExpress for 6G Ram , 64G storage? Are they joking? I will settle for Redmi Note 7 pro than pay all that for Mi 9 SE. Unless it will get a significant price cut.
That amount should get you a Mi 8 na, don't be in a hurry, price will certainly crash.
gidieberry: Aliexpres gimme small blessing.. Dem knack me 4usd coupon as welcome back package say in don tey wey i look dia side.. Funniest thin, i come choos wrong delivery address after i don pay finish.. Instantly, i msg seller come give am correct address
So las las na only less than $3 u use buy this earpiece, enjoy.
Cynsee: what about rock vs memzt, which is better in term$ of sound quality?
This one is a bit hard for me, overall will pick the Memt sha, just that the Memt tends to find it difficult to handle some very high bass sometimes if not properly set, you'll need to adjust your equaliser settings properly to overcome this.
(1) Which gives better value for money - including in terms of specs, battery life, camera durability based on brand history, etc
(2) What advantages do brands with 'Pro' included in their brand names offer? For example, Redmi Note 7 Pro?
Summary is the Redmi note 7 is better than the Y9 in everyway, and the Redmi note 7 pro is better than the Redmi note 7 in terms of processors and camera.
Michaeljnr225: Just checked the specs of redmi note 5 on gsmarena. While they are okay, I actually prefer the pro version of it, though I wonder if it is still within the 55k range
The Redmi note 5 am talking about is same as the Redmi note 5 AI, it's better than the pro version you are referring to. Meanwhile, with the way you are going, why not just save up for the Redmi note 7 .
Youngsage: Why is no one talking about AKG earphones? How do they fare when compared with the above mentioned ones? Would really like to know. .
After comparing the AKG that comes with the s8 with the Rock Zircon, can tell you that these are better especially when the price is considered. The AKG sounds great too, they all have their own sound signatures, but overall we preferred the sound from the Rock.
Godvilla: Get urself any of these or both and I bet you'll dump ur "hybrid IV" for life *JVC KENWOOD FX850 *Senheiser IE 800
You know the cost of those, considering price, the Xiaomi is great in terms of build. Modified : After checking the price of both, they are not even worthy of a mention, especially the Senheiser IE 800, rubbish .
PAQ: My Sony Xperia z5 compact retired yesterday after 3yrs of active service. Decided to give Xiaomi a try as i have been impressed by their phones and affordability. I chose to go for the Mi Max2, would have preferred something more recent but i must confess, these phones are hard to come by if you dont live in Lagos and i dont have the patience to order.
So far so good, i am loving it. But this phone is huge, after 24hrs of use, i tried looking at my xperia z5c. I just couldnt comprehend how i managed to stare at such a small screen for 3yrs!! Did i mention the battery on this beast; 5300mah, bigger than batteries on some tablets. I already updated to Miui 10, next is unlocking bootloader and rooting. I dont mind some tips on custom roms although i am on Global rom and loving it so far.
I have joined the Xiaomi family.
Welcome, go the other thread for tweaking matters, this your beast go need unleashing, considering whr u dey come from .
Xiaomi sef, we nr need all these before we go buy, we nr want everlasting phones too, make dem bring am come like that . Meanwhile, at 4:12 of the video, I nr understand, I don laf tire . Abeg no need for this, where lavenderjade, abeg climb your note 7 make you show us wetin happen here .
acekid109: I wont even consider xiaomi when thinking of new earphones, better deals out there even cheaper self, but xiaomi packaging for pistons is lit sha
Nr b lie, the packaging and build of my hybrid iv na diee, I still keep am for my archives, I just wish they can get it right with sound quality, still remains my most comfortable earphone ever.
jedisco: Thanks. Got my first xiaomi last year and I'm really in love with the brand. I checked out Uiisii and Memt and it equally has good reviews but much fewer sales. I just need a very good one that I can use for quite a while. I'd might settle just for the Xiaomi
What about headphones.. any ideas?
Number of sales is not a projection of how good a product is. I have used the Xiaomi piston 3 and also the Xiaomi Hybrid iv, they are no where near the above listed products as far as sound quality is concerned. Well, there's no harm testing waters .
I'm looking to get both an earphone and a headphone. I really need something nice, cost effective and with good quality. Was initially looking between the Rock Zircon and Xiaomi Piston for the earphone. But the reviews I'm getting are confusing hence my bringing it here. l also came across the Xiaomi Hybr8d Pro/HD. Any reviews?
I'd really need your advice on this.
Get the uiisii hm7, cost effective and durable so far, sound quality is great too. Xiaomi Hybrid Pro /HD is not that cheap, at that price you can get some better offerings from other oems like Memt, KZ, etc.
Michaeljnr225: Used to be a very big fan of infinix phones till I saw a xiaomi phone being used up close. It must have done something to me because I can't stop thinking about acquiring one. Can anyone suggest a quality xiaomi phone I can get just under or around 40k?
