Gucciboss: Oga Gptech do you have any solution to my problem apart the one U Dam5reey? If you say download is supposed to be 1.3gig and what you have is just over 600mb according to what you posted, delete and search for the update again then download, or go to miui forum and download manually. |

Gucciboss: Even Xiaomi fanboys will disagree with you on your first line
Wow superb! kindly state the phone model. But you are always on WiFi, don't you think that might have also impacted positively on your battery life? I won't even rate Touchwiz after miui, the interface is a no no for me, others may like it though. |

Paxziano: Pls, when u say gettin along with Miui, what exactly do u mean? Is it the dual apps stuff? I'm still new to android so I still fiddling with the fone in terms of apps I may or may not like I mean the Android skin (the software, user interface and all built on top of the original Android os), and everything about the phone that pops up on the screen. Since you are new to Android I don't expect you to understand much, but when you handle other Android devices you should see some differences, that's what am talking about. |

mindtricks: Any link for that? Use two ATM cards, buy $100 worth Alipocket with one and complete the transaction with the other. Just download Aliexpress app from playstore, and register /login. Then click on the menu on the top left and select 'my account '. Scroll down, and click 'my Aliexpress pocket' , click on the top of the screen(the Orange coloured part with the written tag 'introducing Aliexpress pocket') , and the different amounts to buy will be displayed. |

scarr: For the paid Poweramp to work on another device, the Google account u used to buy it from playstore must be registered on the other device. Are you sure about this? I have transferred a paid app to many xiaomi phones through Mi mover and they work flawlessly, just want to be sure about poweramp. |
Phones › Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by Gptech(m): 12:16pm On Jan 14, 2017 |

Who has transferred paid apps to other mi devices via Mi mover? Am thinking of buying paid poweramp(don't need lucky patcher, its not totally crash-free) and transferring to other mi devices. Or better still, anyone with paid poweramp should please quote me. |

Dam5reey: The interface is out of android... It got everything I want in a phone.. the phone is really fast.... I'm impressed so far..
I have a question, how can I set my mi cloud not to upload gallery, it I permanently on which I don't want.. I only want the security feature... Anytime Enable Sync it starts uploading... Mi cloud cannot even contain all my gallery
Modified: problem solved.. I had to switch off the WI-FI and I was able to edit to off.. Good, explore more |

Dam5reey: I don't really care about battery but... Battery on redmi 4 pro miui 8.. is doing fine... I'm coming from a phone of 2500Mah... I hardly get 4 SOT... Based on same usage.. Yea, am still surprised when others on miui 8 complain of battery drain because its the opposite here. I have personally tested two redmi note 3 pros, a redmi note 4 and Mi max, all have impressed so far. By the way, hope you getting along with Miui, its really addictive when you get used to it, can't think of anything else currently. |

Dam5reey: Abeg make una stop all this record thing... The standard aliexpress shipping time is 20-35 days...
It makes newbies panic if their items are not shipped on time..
So we can conclude it's 11 to 35 days... Then people can relax I get you, but newbies should also know how to read, it's only a plus if you are getting it below the stipulated time. Would do the opposite (frown at them) if I get it above the 35-day period, in fact 25 days is too long for me to handle. |

Phones › Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by Gptech(m): 9:12pm On Jan 13, 2017 |
quivah: uhmm I guess mine took 11-12days.
I finally get to beat gptech's record. My 13 days was from the day I placed the order and collected the item not from shipping date or to date of arriving the post office. |

Elxandre: Does Quick charge actually ruin batteries?
It doesn't ruin battery. I can't post links due to fear of antispambot Ok, research more on it, but I won't allow Qualcomm and Co to use my own battery as experiment, no matter what they claim we have like 2 more years to confirm their theories. Even Sony is already acting smart by allowing the last 10-15% charge very very slowly, even at that, they still need time to prove how smart they are |

toluwanimi07: lol it supports quick chanrge 3.0 I don wake since na Have not calculated charging time but should be around 2 hours. Would rather stick to the normal charger than those quick chargers that will eventually ruin your battery faster. |
