good evening gurus, I bought a sumec firman 2.5 kva a week ago. I noticed this evening that it started giving sound like it wanted to off. I initially thought it was fuel but there was still fuel inside. I decided to top the oil. in doing that I noticed oil was dripping from a part of the generator which I will upload the pictures. What's the solution? Oil is leaking from that black like box below the choke. been trying to upload pictures but it isn't going through.

You should have topped the fuel instead. I think you have too much oil in the generator right now, you need to get rid of the excess oil.

Sumec firmam SPG3000ES will power 1.5hp conveniently. Remove that struggle you put there. That's what I am using and I pump water twice every week with it...

Its not about brand, consider at least a 3.5kva generator. Using a 2.5kva generator with a 1Hp pump will increase engine wear of the generator.

To be on the safe side because I don't know how many Horse Power your pumping Machine is, I will suggest that you go for Sumec Firman SPG3000E2. It is 2.8KVA very strong and durable and it will serve you well. Come and thank me later.

So what if it's a 1.5HP pump? This generator will even struggle with a 1Hp pump.

It's original but forget that 4.5kw, it can't even carry 1.5hp water pump.

That's too high for a 2.5kva generator , it will even struggle a lot if used to power a 1 hp pump.

I have someone who has the original, bought about 4 years ago, really maintains it. When he uses this generator for powering a 1HP water pump, he usually increases the running speed first, then he turns every other appliance off. Even with these done, the generator struggles greatly. In the end, you'll end up killing the engine fast.

Hello Bosses..

I have a small. gen.. Abro. I have been using it for a year now..
I just serviced it buh i stil encounter these issues..

1. I have to pull it for about 4 times for it to start.

2. Once the gen starts I have to wait for a minute befr sliding the choke.. else it switches off immediately.

3. The bulbs in my room blinks alot and I am honestly fed up. how can bulb be blinking everytime.

4. It smokes a lot immediately after I switch it on..

Kindly assist

You need to service the gen. I believe this is I pass my neighbour, doesn't come with AVR that's why the bulb is blinking.
