I remember my first post here was quoting Iyomomoreloaded.
I so much liked her that I always look forward to her posts and prayers.
I took more interest in her because she went through MC and Cervical Cerclage.
I can still remember my last post to her about waiting to here what she did differently with this pregnancy so I can apply it to mine if need be.

While I waited for her testimony, I lost mine.

At first, I thought you lost the baby and couldn't face the reality to come online like I also experienced.........

I take solace because I know you died in Christ and you are resting in the bossom of our Lord where you are free from all these earthly challenges.

I pray God be with the family left behind.
RIP Iyomomoreloaded.
It is well. Good to hear from you. Hope you are good.

Thanks, my baby likes sleeping on her tummy too, as soon as you lay her on her back, she'd roll over on her tummy and keep sleeping, doesn't stop her from waking up so often tho, we don't use light too, I try not to cover her but her dad is obsessed with keeping her warm even when I dont think she's cold, I'm waiting until he grows tired of that one.
Maybe you should read up about wonder weeks. It could just be a phase and hopefully she’ll stop after some days.
I’m happy the tip worked out last night.
Well done. This one too will pass.

@Twogreatnations_ thanks for the tips, tried it but didn't work as the drug(antibiotics) is so concentrated she knew the difference.
Have you tried using syringe without the needle? You put it inside the mouth on the inner part of the cheek and release it gradually.

lol, my hubby is the judgina in question here, the few times I've tried to breastfeed while lying down he would wake up and start saying, what if the breastmilk enters her ear, what if your boobs cover her nose and she stops breathing, what if what if what if, I'd just get tired and sit up or he would carry her and rock her till she cries herself to sleep, either way both of us never get any much sleep. But it's not even about that again, I want to teach her to start sleeping through the night. I'm tired.
Just like other moms suggested, breastfeed her while lying down for the sake of your sanity. I did that with all my children. I enjoy good night sleep with no issues.

Here’s what I do.

1: I co sleep. I had to alter our lying position to achieve what I want. I created a space for him close to the wall with the bed frame leaning on the wall.
2: No light. I don’t on my light. I use the light from my tv ( it’s on energy saving mode). I train them to sleep without light once I get home from the hospital.
3: No smile, no play. While changing diaper if need be, I don’t smile, talk or play with my baby at night. I avoid noise and put you back to sleep once i’m through.
4: I follow their cue. As Babies, my children don’t like being covered except if it’s extremely cold. 0 to 3 months, I wear them onesie and overall for bedtime. As they get older, I dress them according to the weather and try to regulate the temperature of the room.
I let them sleep on their tummy. There are babies that’ll keep waking up until you let them sleep on their tummy. Yes, there are natural tummy sleepers even oyibo people know that.
When they are 0 to 15 days, I lie him on his sides. 15 days upward, I lie him on his tummy.

I’v done this with all my children and they start sleeping through the night once I wean them off the breast. I breastfeed while lying down and can say for sure that it’s not difficult to stop.
If my baby is wide awake in the night, I leave him to play alone and continue my sleep. Most times he goes back to bed within minutes and I sometimes use my legs to cross the side so he won’t roll over without my knowledge.
There’s nothing on the bed where he lies and the bedsheets is well tucked in. My room is well ventilated too.

Thanks dear, ever since you read Forzarush the riot act, I'm always scared of not replying your mentions on time cheesy
Which one be the riot act again? grin
Abeg, you don’t have to be scared of not replying me. I usually don’t care if you reply or not but it’s necessary because it’s simple courtesy. Sometimes people go the extra mile to answer us. The best you can do is to show appreciation and not just ignore.

I was busy that day and I happily typed her reply with one hand while I was doing something else with the other hand. I was eager to help my teamie. I left an officer’s contact there and pleaded with her to notify me when she sees it so I can remove it.

When I pointed it out that she ignored my post, she wanted to make me look bad by quoting my edited post, and replying as if I don’t know what I’m talking about. I had to point out the time to her.
She purposely ignored my post. You can’t ask question and not look out for reply especially when someone quotes you before replying. Or it’s possible she only wants certain people to answer her.
I wanted to still respond later but I saw where she sarcastically answered someone that suggested she pm me.

To think that I wanted to help her pay for the vaccine because I have some fund in the hospital. I was being careful not to appear too forward because she asked for hospital not money. I wanted to see her response first before I suggest that before person go ask who send me. I’ve learnt my lesson.

Make I come dey go. Ogologo okwu adighi n’uka mgbede. Elegam face.

Birthday Rant:
I have been looking my dh with Annie's isoko eyes since yesterday, I knew he didn't remember today as my birthday, I let him sleep well. This morning as we woke up same thing he was busy preparing for work and didn't look my side to wish me happy birthday. My phone kept sounding for text messages my dh was busy saying he wants to quickly shave before going to work I continued looking at him. Next I got a message from both my dad&mum and my heart melted. I just told him "dear today is my 30th birthday ooo" he said in acclamation haaa, what! You mean it? Hmmm OK, stay there and me forming serious man was my reply. I just hissed and walked away to prepare my son's food bag. He started talking sorry,Pele even my own birthday I don't use to remember, abeg what's my own if u no remember your own day. Later he called our first son so they can sing for me, my baby asked "mummy are u doing birthday today" I said yes,he said so where is your cake, I said I don't have a cake oo, next he said daddy ,mummy is not doing birthday again cos she don't have a cake. He used style and said mummy will buy cake later today. I just stamped it and told him am ordering a cake today for his punishment and he agreed and said I should tell him anything I want again. But mamas pls it pained me o,how can he forget my birthday?
Happy birthday Mama.

@ your rant, most men don’t remember birthdates and anniversary my husband inclusive. It’s so bad that my husband has to call me almost everytime he wants to fill a form that requires children birthdays and anniversary.
Kpele. No vex again. Just make sure you ask for better thing and enjoy your day.

Good afternoon wonderful Mama's in daa house, have always been on ghost mode on this forum n i must commend It has been educative especially to ftm like me.

Please i need a solution to this problem, my DD usually have this tiny reoccurring boils on her head, she has taken series of antibiotics yet it goes n comes back.Anybody with similar experience? She's 3months n four days n presently having fever.

Ur advice wld be appreciated.Thank you.
Mama, did you just say series of antibiotics? Abeg, take it easy with the drugs. If the boil brings out pus, they may have to carry out an analysis on that to ascertain the organism before prescribing any drug.

Thanks dear.. Let me take the castor oil this evening and tomorrow and see what happens
You are not overdue yet so why the rush?
Please, if you can, allow nature to take its course. Wait until 41 weeks if you've not delivered yet.
Please, I won't advice you to touch that castor oil. It can drain your energy and make you so weak that you won't even be able to push. I'm talking from experience.
If you must take it, start with a tablespoon full mixed with orange juice and watch how your body reacts to it. You can increase by a tablespoon after 8 hrs i.e. 2 spoons with OJ consequently.

Amen sis
I want to ask a question please... Why does it feel heavy down there when I work for like 2mins? It changes my step because my pelvis becomes really heavy and it happens alot during walks.
It's most likely that the baby's head is pressing the pelvic bones or its engaged in the birth canal ready for popping

Thanks but are they all appropriate at all trimester ?
Most of all these exercise plan you see are written by fitness experts that have been exercising for long. While some of them are safe for people that are fit, it may not be ideal for someone that has not been exercising before. Let your body dictate what is ideal for you. Some of them are not comfortable after 2nd trimester while some people can continue with it until delivery.
If you've been running before pregnancy, you can continue until delivery. Always listen to your body. If not, stick to stretches, walking, swimming, stairs climbing.

For instance, most exercises for flat tummy includes crunches, sit-ups and planks, but if you do this postpartum, you may just be signing in for big tummy. Yet these exercises are included in postpartum workouts.
