Sansa143 and Rhemy2013, I missed your baby's pics. I don't know why I keep missing your pics Abigail777, Stephmiracle and Princesskf, your babies are so cute. |
HolySteph:Lagos state |
ifyalways:Mummy Ifyalways, I think you are mixing up the identities. Forzarus wasn't the cappo but she always lead us in prayers on Monday. She was dedicated to that and I appreciate her for doing so. Phlakkeys was the cappo for July that does the roll call and starts it with "just because it's our month". |
To all the mamas that are interested, the address is No 51 Oroyinyi street, idumota. It's opposite phone plaza. If you enter through adeniji, you take the second street on the right then turn right. I think that area is still Dosunmu. You can call this number for directions 08060683390. The name is Chimezie. Hint: you can ask them to mix the sizes of the items they sell in dozens. E.g.; they sell one size of body suit in dozen but you can ask for say long sleeve body suit in size 0 to 6 months mixed. If you want less number of items, you can get it from another shop around there. But there's seems to be cheaper. |
Chijiuche:Dosunmu. In my sojourn last week, I discovered somewhere in the market where they sell US baby things in wholesale price. Their prices are sometimes #500 below what is obtainable in other wholesale shops. The good thing about this place is that the guy is truthful and if you don't find what you are looking for in their shop, you can buy from other shops around there. I first went to their shop but didn't buy anything from them because they've packed their goods already, I bought from one Alhaja around there. Let me know if you are interested so I'll give you their number and address. Zaynie has very nice stuffs. You can check her thread. I can vouch for the quality of the things I bought from her. |
Giddyperson:Laugh wan tear my belle. Psalm 1 to 11 for morning devotion. lol |
enque:Yes |
My able cappo @ phlakkeys, please accept my sympathy. Heaven knows why it happened. I'm feeling so bad about this. May God comfort you this period and affliction shall never arise again. Huggs. |
Giddyperson:Tell me you are joking.

I want to specially thank our cappo @ phlakkeys for a job well done. Thank you for taking out time to ask after us and for your prayers too. Thank God it ended in praise. May you experience an easy labor too. I really appreciate. To all my team members and those that gave birth, congratulations. May God bless our los. To all the ATC mamas, May God who blessed me with this gift when I least expected it remember you for good and give you a surprise package that will marvel you. To those who lost their loved ones, accept my sympathy. Heaven knows. May the good lord console you. To all those that liked my posts, thank you. Thank you to you that is reading my post. |

Bs continue. I had to do a dating scan because obviously we can't rely on my lmp. You need to see the number of times I had to explain each time I'm asked my lmp by d nurses or consultants. I had no ms, no nausea in fact, I enjoyed this pregnancy very well. Dh was just treating me like an egg, he serves me breakfast in bed, does house chores, cooks and take care of my children because I had no help then and to pacify me because I was angry that I was pregnant. Fast forward to my third trimester, I was very sure I'll give birth in June because I've never gotten to my edd but this baby is different. I had an attempted CS @ 36 weeks, prodromal labour for almost 2 weeks and I passed my edd. On my edd, I went to the hospital to get checked and was told that my cervix is posterior although they could feel the baby's head. That's not new, I've been hearing this for weeks now and nothing yet. I was so tired of being pregnant so the prof suggested I take 4 tablespoons of castor oil with orange juice to see if the contractions will intensify. Everything I read about castor oil was bad news so I was skeptical about taking it. I tried walking, kpekusing, pineapple but no show. Dh encouraged me to try only 2 tablespoons which I did on Sunday night. Monday morning I purged like crazy that I had to relocate to the toilet. I was getting weaker and weaker with no iota of contraction. I had to take ors, Garri, bread to stop the diarrhea. After the whole thing, I swore never to smell castor oil again. In the night, sleep travelled to sambisa because I slept d whole day. I left my room and went to the sitting room and prayed. I told God that I'm tired of being pregnant and just want the baby out. I went back to lie down around 2:30 am. I woke up @ 3:15 am to pee and had this strong painless contraction with strong pressure on my pelvis. I went back to bed and had another one @ 3:55am. I told my Dh that it's like I need to get to the hospital. I wasn't too sure because of my experience with false labor. I had my bath, got my children ready for school, prepared their lunch and left for the hospital. I got there some minutes past 6 and vomited immediately I got there. The midwife tried to check how far I've dilated but my membrane was bulging out. They started arguing whether to break my water or allow d contractions to do it, I no send them, I just lay on my left side and was Jejely reserving my energy. The head of nurses came in and asked them to break the water, immediately I felt d urge to push. I just screamed, I want to push ohhh. The asked me to hold on so they'll be sure I was fully dialated which I was. My first push, small poo came out. The nurse urged me to continue that it's her duty to clean me up One more push, the head came out followed by the body without a tear @ 7:05am weighing 4kg. I spent less than an hour @ d hospital. I present Prince Eloghosa Chimzulum. Abeg, ignore any grammatical or typo error. I'll edit later. Sorry, I have to remove d second pics. Cc phlakkeys |
Every spirit of procrastination, die by fire . My birth story. I had my dd 6 years ago and was so sure I've hanged my boots. I had a mirena inserted and I enjoyed over 4 years of no menses. Suddenly around August last year, I started missing my monthly cycle and decided to remove it and see if my period will regulate before I insert another one. After my first period in Aug/sept, I armed myself with udah water, cd and make sure dh withdraws each time we kpekus. I noticed that I haven't seen my period by October but I wasn't bothered because I've never had a regular cycle. I decided that by dec I'll go for another fp period or no period. November ending, I started feeling feverish, dh was treating malaria too, so I decided to treat malaria as well and also took augmentatin but after d whole dosage, I wasn't feeling any better. Dh suggested I do a pt test which I reluctantly did after binding and casting but lo and behold, I saw d double line. I was devastated to say d less. I had plans for 2017. I was just beginning to enjoy my life because dd is older and more independent. Dh was over excited . He told me his only annoyance is that I didn't allow him to enjoy kpekusing with my " don't release inside". |

queenhecate:I'm so sorry for what happened. I'm like, a slap on that witch face would do. What kind of wickedness is this? I just have to respond, I know I'm still owing BS but no time to type long epistle. Maybe I'll adopt this your mtd. |
Elixir123:Akwukwo anara in igbo |
Good morning everyone. I had my baby around 7am on the 11th. I typed my BA several times but the mobile network in the hospital was very bad. Just got home yesterday night. Will send in my BS soonest. Thank God it ended in praise. Cc phlakkeys |
lady25:There's nothing to be worried about. I don't think this is considered low unless it's goes lower than this or you are fainting, feeling lightheaded or dizzy. If my memory doesn't fail me, my bp is always 100/60, 90/60 or 90/50 and no one ever complained unless yours is always on the high side. Normal systolic range is 90 to 130. Normal diastolic is 60 to 80. But a 50 in pregnancy is considered normal. Just make sure you are not dehydrated or bleeding. I think that's all. |
queenhecate:Ok. I'm scared of food now cos almost everything gives me heartburn this last weeks. I'll make pepper soup tomorrow. I have all the spices. Thanks. |
queenhecate:Amen. Pepper soup ingredients sounds good. Have you tried it before? I'm scared of heartburn. Sorry about the yeast infection. I'll never try that thing again. Never. |
Naomi14:Yea. I'm tired of hearing "mummy why is the baby not out yet?" My hospital will medically intervene once you get to 41 weeks. I pray it doesn't get to that or else, I'll stop ANC after this week. |
Naomi14:Ohh. Nothing has changed from my previous visit. Dr suggested I take few spoons of castor oil mixed with orange juice. I don't know why I agreed to try it this morning. I've been sitting in my toilet since morning feeling so miserable and the annoying thing is that it didn't intensify the contractions but my stomach has been running like tap. I've passed my edd and it's somehow unusual for me but I've decided to wait it out. I can't kill my self. The baby will come when he's ready. |
Naomi14:Hmmm, very nice. My husband is Benin and only reveals the name he choose after the baby is born. I like Osamuyime. Wish he'll choose that |
Naomi14:Very nice. |
zaynie:Wowww just seeing this. Thank you mummy zaynie and ifyalways. Mummy ifyalways, please I wouldn't mind eating that your food. I promise not to eat much just 3 plates will be ok. Thanks to everyone that liked my corn. |
