Politics / Re: Urgent Message: Gov. T. A. Orji To All Igbos And Abians In The North by grafikdon: 1:14am On Apr 19, 2011 |
The problem with Abagworo is he is trying so hard not to be seen as an ethnic antagonist. That tribalist vote/poll sure did a number him. I find it disturbing that he will let the opinion of some rabid internet bigots shape his reasoning. I am pretty sure that if a delirious Jihadist decapitates an innocent Igbo man in his presence while he has a loaded M-16 dangling by his side, he will simply narrow it down to "My people too look for trouble. . . lol" and keep moving as if it was a coconut shell that fell by the road side. |
Politics / Re: Bakare Said There Will Be 'wild Wild North' by grafikdon: 9:07pm On Apr 18, 2011 |
PapaBrowne: Never mind some of the rigid CPC people. They are still singing the same old "We must win or else. . ." song. Buhari is a professional election runner and a serial loser who should learn to let go of images of victory conjured by his morbid imagination and embrace reality. |
Politics / Re: Nass Elections : Bb Fans Allege Rigging, cite Nl Polls As Evidence by grafikdon: 3:02pm On Apr 13, 2011 |
Wouldn't say I am surprised. Numerous CPC followers continue to cling to the erroneous and dangerous assumption that foul play is the ONLY way they can be defeated by the PDP. I have noticed a huge number of them proclaim any victory by PDP a fraud, not withstanding the circumstances or credibility of the person/s involved. In their world PDP MUST LOSE or else, heads will roll. There couldn't possibly be any other outcome. Apparently they have forgotten there is no single party in Nigeria with clear cut ideologies. Either that or they have been mesmerized by the allure of the fantasy world and have refused to snap back to reality. This is how the Super Eagles(and overzealous fans) disgrace themselves buy counting the number of goals they will score against teams like Leone Stars of Sierra Leone, without any meaningful preparation, only to end up struggling with a paltry goalless draw, thereby pushing their overzealous fans to the brink of cardiac arrest. |

Politics / Re: Buhari's Many Faces by grafikdon: 3:21am On Apr 04, 2011 |
Hopefully he will retire for good after one more merciless trouncing. As expected, he will cite rigging/foul play as the principal cause of his massive failure, while neglecting the devastating side effects of his ''half-assed'' campaign and his very ugly past. |

Politics / Re: 10,000 Job Beneficiaries Storm Imo Government House… by grafikdon: 2:25pm On Mar 21, 2011 |
This Ohakim character and his cohorts are obviously desperate, having realized the Imo residents are gearing up to give them a devastating kick in the nuts. Their frantic but laughable attempts to seem relevant is a dead giveaway. |
Politics / Re: Jonathan And The Rigging Of 2011 Presidential Elections! by grafikdon: 2:20pm On Mar 21, 2011 |
The Buhari crowd's erroneous assumption the ONLY way PDP can prevail is through rigging/foul play is very unfortunate. Frankly based on situation on the ground, we are going to witness a merciless trouncing of the opposition by PDP without foul play, unless there is a massive shift in the Opposition campaign strategies coupled with a merger. People may berate the PDP but one thing they cannot honestly discredit is their (PDP) rigorous campaign strategies. They have the structure, a very wide reach and IMO the only true National party, considering CPC is perceived as a Hausa and Fulani party, APGA/PPA as Igbo party and ACN a Yoruba party. The only way I envisioned the dismantling of PDP was through a merger with ACN/CPC/APGA/PPA/LP, unfortunately that remained a product of my imagination. My candid advice to the Buhari crowd is to tone down their very rigid perception of their capabilities. Election is always a two-way traffic where you either win or lose, but clinging tenaciously to the erroneous concept that victory is already yours without doing the aggressive ground work necessary for such feat, while proclaiming foul play as your opponent's ONLY shot at victory is a recipe for chaos and carnage. Btw That "Sai Buhari" expression doesn't sit well with me. I understand it should not be an issue but in a complex society like Nigeria, one should at least try to construct his words/utterances/expressions in such a way that it will not be perceived as egocentric and condescending. |

@ Ezeuche. . . You should know by now that trying reason with Becomerich is a lot more futile than convincing Osama Bin Laden to become Bible thumping Pastor. He clings to his delusions with the tenacity of mucus and can NEVER be swayed by verifiable facts, fiction or fantasy. So if you think you can soften a rock by pouring water on it, go ahead and reason with the Alaafin of Canada. |

EzeUche_: We may have to do a lot of soul searching because from my perspective, our stagnation as a continent is not exactly the side effect of abominable colonial contraptions, malevolence, corruption, hypocrisy and ethnic antagonism. |
Politics / Re: Uganda Gay Rights Activist David Kato Killed by grafikdon: 1:50am On Jan 28, 2011 |
I have not been able to grasp what drives some Africans towards this crusade to "stamp out" the "Devilish Homosexuality", especially when our continent is fraught with problems detrimental to our safety and existence. What is even more unfortunate is that some Africans will openly celebrate the cold blooded murder of another human, solely because of his sexual orientation. I am beginning to suspect our problem goes beyond malevolence, hypocrisy and ethnic antagonism. 1 Like |

bcomepoor5: Nice try, bub. This is not Mapomeji but rather a Nairalander trying to mimic the Super Mapster. You went overboard with the Batu English and that my friend, is a dead giveaway. Try harder next time Let me give you a more believable Mapomeji rendition: "Look I have post maps to explain how Yoruba, Edo, Bendle and Byelsa will be remove to Benin Republic. This is the only way to give North Majority and avoid civil war. See Jonathan is omo ale because he want 15,000000 to die in civil war. The North will become minority if you do not remove Yoruba, Bendle and Bayelsa to Benin republic. look the North is finish because they are now minority. See map. Map show that my village has about 100 million people and is more populated than Imo and Abia, my village has one local government while Imo and Abia has 50, this wickedness and Jesus and the Bible says something specific about act of wickedness. Do you not want to save 15,000000 life? Give North majority by removing Yoruba, Bendle and Bayelsa to Benin Republic" - Becomerich, The Alaafin of Canada. |

You're so transparent that even a dead man can decipher any of your numerous IDs. @Okija Juju, check out the following. 1. Monster 2. Phantom 3. Speed Grapher (It gets really weird sometimes but it is captivating) 7. Samurai 7 Look out for anything produced by Gonzo because they are usually top notch, no infantile bullsheet. Also try watching the original Japanese versions with subs and stay away from the repulsive English dubs. |

Dexter hard core fan here. Dexter is one of the shows I overlooked simply because I couldn't possibly pay attention to every TV show, if I want to get some work done. I'd pick some shows and ignore the rest, no matter how appealing they are. It took just one episode of Season 4 to get me hooked on Dexter. Now I have seen it all and I am eagerly waiting for Season 6. |
