This is going to be open season for the Nigerian bashers. We just can't help supplying them with the ammo to shoot us down.

Politics / Re: Why Is Andy Uba So Scared Of Asking For The People's Vote by grafikdon: 2:45pm On Dec 20, 2009
It is undeniable that Andy Uba is a reprehensible slowpoke, but his reasoning has not been compromised to the point where he will not realize the only people who will vote for him in a free and fair election are family members and a handful of his fellow buffoons, who fortunately do not amount to 1% of the electorate.

Never mind the dubious rented crowd who will chant "Uba Ka anyi ga eso" just to get the slowpoke ''spread out'' his questionable wealth. I say let him waste his money chasing a winged unicorn.

Jcob:

Becomerich has never been involved in any logical and rational discussions. It amazed me how he got the best political contributor. There more to politics than map reading. No wonder we suffer in the nation. The most popular candidate is not always the best for the job. Jakumo rules.

Never under estimate the strength of  "Junior Mapia". With Egwuofor, Lookalike, Bashali, Southunity, Complove, tayo4lif, Uchenna . . . on rampage, even Jesus Christ will have  a hard time beating the King of Mapsters  in any Nairaland Poll.
Politics / Re: Anambra: Candidates’ List Out. by grafikdon: 12:15pm On Dec 10, 2009
When did all these cockroach parties spring up? Apart from from Ngige, Obi and maybe Soludo (assuming PDP settles their drama), the rest are a bunch of meddlesome interlopers and they know it.

I can see Andy Uba's desperation but since he is a reprehensible slowpoke, he will never be able to comprehend that even if he joins JDP (Jesus Democratic Party ) he will be blown away like a pack of cards in a hurricane.

Never mind the Uba repulsive rented crowd or (in a certain Nairalander's term) "arrrss lickers", we will always have them, like the fly that perched on the testicles.
TV/Movies / Re: Nollywood Movie Covers by grafikdon: 11:46pm On Dec 06, 2009
Most of those covers are really repulsive. . . zero creativity. I guess they figured they could attract more ''business'' by slapping the face of every actor on the jacket. Even if they must slap the face  on the covers (very ridiculous concept), they should at least be creative, instead of grating our nerves with pictures of actors making funny faces and mouths so wide open you'd think they're about to swallow a whole fried chicken with no intention of chewing. . . na real wah.

Sometimes Nigerians can be so adamant and resistant to change, even when it is obvious to the blind man they're forcing a round peg into a square hole.

The last  three images you posted are very good.
Politics / Re: Fg Denies Granting Enugu Airport Int’l Status by grafikdon: 4:08pm On Dec 03, 2009
Establishment of an international airport in the South East is not something that should be put up for debate, especially in 2009. Any Nigerian that has not been compromised by some unfounded paranoia, malevolence and prejudice will have no doubts regarding the need for such Airport in the Region.

My only grievance in this situation rests on reps, Senators, Governors and other prominent figures from that region. I am of the opinion they've spent a greater part of their ''political career'' chasing shadows. If they really want the airport, no amount of unfounded paranoia and evasive political maneuver can get in the way. Perhaps I am unaware of those circumstances that hamper the ''attempts' and ''efforts'' of the South East Govs/Sen/Reps (This is where someone with a better knowledge of the mechanism comes in to enlighten me).

Viability is not an excuse here because only a reprehensible slowpoke traveling from Awka, Enugu, Onitsha, Nnewi, Ekwulobia, Uga, Isuofia etc will ignore the airport in either Enugu, Onitsha or even Asaba and travel to Lagos,Abuja, Kano or PH just to catch a flight to USA, UAE, Canada etc and vice versa.
TV/Movies / Re: Crazy Nigerian Football CARTOON! by grafikdon: 2:19pm On Dec 02, 2009
This very hilarious. I actually watched this several times just to get some chuckles. the guy with traditional and bling is hilarious without even saying a word. grin grin He looks like an slowpoke but from the way he talks, you can tell he's a smart dude with a great sense of humour.

The accent is very authentic, no pretentious and atrocious "I wanna ganna warra meeeeeennn". Very authentic. Love the style. Keep the flag flying, man.

Guinea challenging Nigeria in football is like a son slapping the father grin grin, lol

"If they are wise, they should descend low, and let their fada cross, " ROTFLOL!!!  grin D (Notice his gesture when he said "low"wink

This is really cool funny stuff.
Politics / Re: Nigga by grafikdon: 10:20am On Nov 23, 2009
"Nigga" is a derogatory word and no amount of argument can change that. It is more painful to see some Nigerian JJC spew that abominable word with reckless abandon. I nearly smacked okro seeds out of the eyes of a 19 yr old JJC (In Jew York for less than a week). It was bad enough he was spewing that trash trying to ''rap'' in a room filled with hardcore Nigerians, but to extend his hand and address me as his "nigga" was the last straw.

I wasn't even sure which was more painful; forcing the "American accent" on his thick bush village accent or saying "nigga" like it was the new "good morning".

"Nigaa this, nigga that,  know warram seyin". *in thick nerve shattering bush village accent*

asha 80:

Later someone will come here and say OUK is the best thing to happen to Abia state.

That shouldn't be a surprise. OUK is the king of imbeciles. Some parts of Aba will churn your stomach and make puke out your innards in a jiffy. I remember falling into a ditch with the stinking dirty water during a heavy rain, because the entire road was flooded and it was impossible to ''calculate'' distance between the bad road and the open gutter.

I must confess though, Aba was 100% crime free (I mean violent crime) after the Bakassi boys handed the "Maf" their assess. You could carry your money in a see- through bag and everyone would keep a safe distance. grin

@SEFAGO,

You're a complete and utter fool for making such a foolish and insensitive comment!

That is exactly why I do not engage teenagers and teeny boppers in serious meaningful discourse online. They are usually imbeciles who are oblivious of their buffoonery, especially when they have no rational and experienced adult to explicate the need to understand life's grey areas. They throw up their disconcerting infantile drivel with so much certainty and authority. Fortunately, most of them grow up and are able to look back and shudder.

The Ikemba has spoken grin grin grin the language that Nigeria understands. Time to get back to serious business in Anambra, now that the abominable meddlesome interlopers are out of the picture.
