Politics / Re: Federal Republic Of South Nigeria by grafikdon: 3:09am On Jan 05, 2010 |
Eziachi: Nwanne jirikwe nwayoo ka ofe roro aro zue onye obuna The highlighted is not applicable to me, considering my father was a Biafran Officer. I have never been evasive in my perception of Nigeria; an abominable colonial contraption, the most artificial country on the planet, the country with the largest concentration of dubious spineless hypocrites who want to go to haven without embracing the reality of death (I am not excluding myself here). In a nutshell, we are in this cesspit because we chose to. It is not about the "elites'', unless someone is telling me the so called elites "holding us down" were imported from another universe. However, the situation is not entirely hopeless because we have options. We can pretend everything is smooth, embrace the status quo and vehemently repress those who cry for change. We can be honest and admit things are not working and figure a way out this stifling quagmire of retrogression and despondency or we can split up and go our separate ways, even if it means splitting into 10 countries or more (To your tents oh Israel). These are options and it is up to us to decide which way to steer the bus. |

Mekusxyz: This is actually a good idea. Very workable. Any "South Nigeria" with the capital in Igbo or Yoruba dominated area is unacceptable (No room for the condescending WAZOBIA nonsense). Also like Sapeleguy stated, you only get 5 yrs to make a difference, after that you have to step aside, no more "second term" . The name "Nigeria" should be dropped and replaced with something else, as long as it has no connection to Igbo or Yoruba. |

I will not die for Nigeria, since I do not believe it is a real country in the right sense of the word. I don't give a damn about England. It is USA for me, as simple as that. |

Princek12: The only Igbo man who will genuinely blow himself up in the name of Mohamad is the one abandoned in the bush on the day of his birth and raised by Islamic nut jobs. This argument is better left for the day a hundred jihadists will be sent on a holy mass murder , only for 95 to show up. The missing 5 jihadist will be somewhere in Arochukwu helping themselves to juicy bowls of nkwobi and a keg of fresh palm wine. |

~Sauron~: That was my initial reaction, I nearly fell out of the window at the thought of a Nigerian suicide bomber. . . completely out of place and very hilarious. Nothing can convince a Nigerian to blow himself apart, not even the prospect of eternal or*gies with 72 sexually frustrated virgins. Now if it is a deed that guarantees endless or#gies on earth, in flesh and blood. . . now you are talking, as long as it does not involve even the loss of a strand of hair. What's with the censor on this site? Sheesh!!! |

Oh boy. . . it is open season for Nigeria. the racists are having a field day. . . they always have to rope Obama in their asinine argument. WASHINGTON (Dec. 25) -- A Northwest Airlines passenger from Nigeria, who said he was acting on al-Qaida's instructions, tried to blow up the plane Friday as it was landing in Detroit, law enforcement and national security officials said. http://www.sphere.com/nation/article/fireworks-set-off-aboard-commercial-flight/19294161?ncid=webmaildl1 |

Politics / Re: Nigerian Man Attempts To Detonate Explosive On Delta Flight In US by grafikdon: 2:07am On Dec 26, 2009 |
@ ROSSIKE, it is easy to call people dumb because they expressed disgust over the deplorable acts of their country men, but what some of us do not understand is that most these people have experienced and endured the most excruciating embarrassment, harassment and inflammation in the hands of those who can not grasp that a man is not supposed to bear the consequences of another man's transgressions. Unfortunately, that is the way the cookie crumbles. It is not a very pretty picture but most of us have made peace with that painful and unfortunate concept. We may not wear the green white or paint our shoes/hats/faces/clothes etc with the same color, but we are quick to reveal our nationality to those who care to know. People have different ways of dealing with the situation, you simply have to chose your poison and let others do same. |

@ Akeemos, let's not muddle things up with conspiracy theories. In 2001, some Nigerian Muslims were almost dancing unclothed for the glorious work of the warriors of Allah who have killed the bloody "American infidels". Some Nigerian Muslim nut jobs hacked down fellow citizens over a silly cartoon from another planet. The examples are endless. I don't think it is far fetched to say Nigeria is an Al-Qaeda nest to some extent. |

Well, I may have to take a break from wearing native attire (not that I was doing that ) just in case someone mistakes me for Nigerian-Taliban. . . he who ditches the native attire lives to see another day where he can drink a glass of palm wine and shout "This is the bomb" without causing a stampede. . . |
