SENATOR IFEANYI UBAH LEADS HIS CAMPAIGN TEAM TO ORUMBA NORTH ZONE 3, MEETS WITH THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT STAKEHOLDERS

...and reiterates his commitment towards community development.

_After meeting with the people of Orumba North Zone 3 at Oko Civic Center, Senator Ubah led his entourage to the residence of Dr Justin Nwankwo in Oko to meet with stakeholders of Orumba North Local Government Area. The Senator was also hosted by Omeive-Ukwu na Ufuma at his palace_

Anambra South Senator and Candidate of the Young Progressives Party (YPP) for the 2023 Anambra South Senatorial Election Dr Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah on Saturday, reassured his constituents that he will always work towards attracting programmes and projects that will foster community development. Senator Ubah made the remarks when he met with leaders and members of Orumba North Political Zone 3 at Oko Civic Center, Oko. Speaking at the event, the Senator appreciated the people of Orumba North for their unalloyed supports and reassured them that he will continually partner with relevant authorities to develop their communities.

Senator Ubah who was flanked by the Director-General of Ifeanyi Ubah Foundation Chief Vin Onyeka, YPP Candidate for 2023 Orumba North and Orumba South Federal Constituency Election Princess Chinwe Nnabuife and the party’s Candidate for 2023 Orumba North State Constituency Election Hon Ben Umeh also informed the gathering which was made up of people from Nanka Ward 1, Nanka Ward 2, Awgbu Ward 1, Awgbu Ward 2, Oko Ward 1 and Oko Ward 2, that in the past four years, his office took several actions that were aimed at developing and empowering young talents from various communities of Orumba North Local Government Area. He further disclosed that through partnerships with National Productivity Centre, National Directorate of Employment, Nigerian Ports Authority and Federal Ministry for Humanitarian Affairs, he trained and empowered hundreds of youths from various local government areas of Anambra South Senatorial District including Orumba North on various fields like sewing, soap making, shoe making, perfume making and make-over. The Senator also revealed that with the 2023 Appropriation Act of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in place, more youths from Orumba North will be empowered with five hundred thousand naira each courtesy of his office.

The Anambra South Senator further informed ndị Orumba North Zone 3 that he has also taken action to support the state government and security agencies in the fight against insecurity. According to him, the execution of “Operation Light-Up and Secure Anambra South Project” which was facilitated by him is already in progress and the project which is aimed at supporting security agencies in surveillance and security analysis in all Wards of the Senatorial District features installation of solar powered facilities that are equipped with a Light-Emitting Diode (LED) light system and other powerful electronic gadgets. The Senator further revealed that the project when completed, is also expected to boost businesses at the grassroots.

Commenting on the forthcoming National Assembly and State Assembly elections, Senator Ubah urged the people of Orumba North Zone 3 Political Zone to consolidate their supports and love for him by voting massively for YPP as that will guarantee sustenance of quality programmes within the local government and Anambra South in general.

The Senator representing Anambra South and Candidate of the Young Progressives Party (YPP) for the 2023 Anambra South Senatorial Election Dr Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah on Friday, reassured his constituents that his office will leave no stone unturned in partnering with relevant authorities to execute programmes that will foster community development. Senator Ubah made the remarks while addressing the people of Otolo Ward 2 at Obi Umuenem Palace, Otolo Nnewi. The Senator who was flanked by the Director-General of Ifeanyi Ubah Foundation Chief Vin Onyeka also appreciated ndị Otolo for their continuous support and reassured them that he will not relent in using instrumentality of his office to promote their wellbeing.

Speaking on his Senatorial activities in the past four years, Senator Ubah said that for the first time in the Senatorial history of Anambra South, every ward benefitted from the Constituency Projects. He further disclosed that through legitimate partnerships, he was able to execute essential projects such as the “Operation Light-Up and Secure Anambra South Project”. Speaking further on the project, Senator Ubah said that it features installation of solar powered facilities that are equipped with a Light-Emitting Diode (LED) light system and other powerful electronic gadgets that will help security agencies in surveillance and security analysis in all Wards of the Senatorial District. The Senator also thanked the Obi of Umuenem Chief Afam Obiekosi for his giant efforts in maintaining peace in the community and reassured him that his office will not relent in giving adequate support to traditional institutions. The Anambra South Senator further reassured his constituents that with the 2023 Appropriation Act of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in place, more projects facilitated by his office will hopefully be executed soon.

In his remarks, the former President-General of Nzukora Nnewi Chief Agu Onyeka (Ikeoha Nnewi) appreciated Senator Ubah for his uncommon contributions to the betterment of the society. Chief Onyeka further commended the Senator for always carrying his people along in his legislative activities and reassured him that ndị Otolo Ward 2 will always give him their supports.

The Senator representing Anambra South and Candidate of the Young Progressives Party (YPP) for the 2023 Anambra South Senatorial Election Dr Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah on Tuesday, reassured his constituents especially the less privileged that he will always use instrumentality of his office to make necessary provisions for them. Senator Ubah made the remarks while commissioning a new three bedroom bungalow facilitated by his office for Mrs Bridget Obi at Ozubulu in Ekwusigo Local Government Area of Anambra State. Speaking at the event, Senator Ubah congratulated Mrs Obi and prayed for more good things upon her. The Senator who was flanked by his wife Mrs Uche Ubah also thanked God for keeping the woman alive to witness the occasion and reassured the people of Anambra South especially the less privileged that providing adequate support for them will always be his priority.

Responding, Mrs Obi thanked God for keeping her alive to witness the event. She also appreciated Senator Ubah for making the provision of adequate care for the needy his priority, and prayed for divine mercies, grace, guidance and protection upon him.

After commissioning the new house, Senator Ubah led his entourage to St Matthews Church Field Egbema Ozubulu where he met with leaders and members of Ekwusigo Zone A which comprised of Ozubulu Ward 1, Ozubulu Ward 2, Ozubulu Ward 3, Ozubulu Ward 4, Ozubulu Ward 5 and Ozubulu Ward 6. Other people that met with the Senator in Zone A were leaders and members Ihiteoha Ward and Anaubahu Ward which are under Ihembosi community. Speaking at the event, Senator Ubah appreciated the people of Ozubulu and Ekwusigo for their continuous support. He also informed them that through the instrumentality of his office, he has facilitated several projects in the community to promote people’s wellbeing and enable the community leaders to carry out their legitimate functions efficiently.

The Anambra South Senator who was accompanied by his wife Mrs Uche Ubah, Chief Jude Mbaegbu, the Director General of Ifeanyi Ubah Foundation Chief Vin Onyeka and some stakeholders further disclosed that through the instrumentality of his office, he has donated eighty million naira for the construction of Nnewi-Ozubulu Road, one hundred extra sets of solar powered facilities that are equipped with a Light-Emitting Diode (LED) light system to the community, an electricity transformer to Amakwa community, five million naira to Ozubulu Old Boys Association and two million naira to Ozubulu Security Trust Fund.

Senator Ubah also informed the gathering that with the 2023 Appropriation Act of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in place, the community and other parts of Anambra South will be provided with more amenities and supports.

The Senator representing Anambra South Senatorial District and Candidate of the Young Progressives Party (YPP), for the forthcoming Senatorial Elections in February, Senator Dr Ifeanyi Ubah on Saturday, 11/02/2023, reinterated his resolve to end the insecurity and capital flight that have ravaged the Senatorial District in recent times .

The Senator made the declaration during the kick-off of the ifeanyi Ubah quiz competition that he organised for the entire secondary schools in Anambra South Senatorial District.

Speaking through his representative and chief of staff, Mr Gerald Udogu, at Maria Regina College , one of the venues for the quiz competition. Senator Ubah insisted that it is the responsibility of elected public officials to stand in the gap for the people and implement action programmes and projects that help free movement ,safe environment as well as human capital development of the masses .

The highly attended quiz competition took place simultaneously in the seven(7) local government areas that make up the Senatorial District.

Speaking before the examination commenced at Mosignor Maduka Memorial Secondary school, Ekwulobia. Hon Emma Ezeokafor applauded the Senator representing Anambra South Senatorial District, Senator Dr Ifeanyi Ubah, for what he termed his outside the box capacity for formulating great ideas that has greatly helped in restoring peace to the hitherto restive zone . Speaking further , Hon Ezeokafor, who is the Young Progressives Party (YPP) candidate for Aguata Federal Constituency in the forthcoming House of Representatives election slated for February 25th, stated that it indeed takes being a special breed for a first-timer like Senator Ubah to deliver such quantity of projects to the zone, boasts of a bill already signed into law and yet (still not resting on his oars), has gone ahead to assist the state government in curbing the insecurity in the Senatorial District. This he did through various action programmes like operation light Up and Secure Anambra South through which he is dropping a minimum of 50 solar powered streetlights in every ward, the donation of security Equipments, the football tournament for the Youths, and the quiz competition for students held yesterday.

You may recall that the Anambra state governor,,Professor Chukwuma Charles Soludo a few days ago, minced no words while heaping praises on the Senator representing Anambra South Senatorial District, Senator Dr Ifeanyi Ubah for harkening to his call for partnership from ndi Anambra in curbing the insecurity and infrastructural decadence in the State. The governor described the senator as the true son of Anambra. Senator Ubah has since gone ahead to donate 500 million Naira worth of security equipment ,walkie-talkies, and solar powered streetlights with CCTV cameras. Senator Ubah has also initiated a collaborative venture with the state government that is aimed at training one thousand (1000)youths on security networking and information gathering.

The students that took part in the quiz competition competed for various prizes ranging from payment of senior WAEC fees for 140 of them while 35 best performing schools will be handed 2 desktop computers and full science kits each amongst several other consolation prizes.

Speaking at the event which took place at Ifeanyi Ubah International Stadium, Nnewi-Ozubulu, Governor Soludo said that he was there to thank and congratulate Senator Ubah for making security of lives and properties of ndị Anambra South his priority irrespective of their political affiliations. The Anambra State Governor who was accompanied by his Chief of Staff Ernest Ezeajughi and Special Assistant on Security Air Vice Marchal Ben Chiobi also described Senator Ubah as a true son of the soil and reassured him that his office will continually partner with him for the benefits of residents of Anambra South and Anambrarians in general.

Governor Soludo further maintained that with the Secure South Project (SSP) which was initiated by Senator Ubah, security agencies will be more equipped to carry out surveillance and security analysis in all the one hundred and nineteen wards of Anambra South Senatorial District. Mr. Governor, who was overwhelmed with joy, further informed Senator Ubah that he is always ready to attend any programme facilitated by him that is meant to boost security in Anambra South and Anambra State in general. He also reassured ndị Anambra South that his office will continue to partner with Senator Ubah to ensure that the aims of the Secure South Project are achieved.

The Anambra State Governor also commended Senator Ubah for his patriotism, which made him place people’s interests above his own, and maintained that he is very proud to have him as his Senator. He also appreciated him for always making personal efforts to promote the wellbeing of his people and described the Ifeanyi Ubah International Stadium as a massive project that will be supported by the state government. The governor further assured Senator Ubah that his administration will partner with him to develop the stadium in a way that it will continually benefit ndị Anambra South and Anambrarians in general. Prof Soludo also promised to rehabilitate Nkwọ Nnewi Triangle and other Nnewi roads for the benefit of all and described Secure South Project as one of the fruits of the State’s Security Trust Fund.

Mr Governor further thanked Senator Ubah on behalf of ndị Anambra for his great gifts to the people of the state and reassured citizens that security of lives and properties which has improved since his assumption of office will continually improve.

Also speaking, the Special Assistant to the Governor on Security, Retired Air Vice Marchal Ben Chiobi informed the governor that in line with his directive, he has confirmed that the Secure South Project which the summit was part of is in tune with his promise to ndị Anambra on security. He also disclosed that about one thousand walkie-talkies with other powerful gadgets, including Closed Circuit Television (CCTV), have been procured by Senator Ubah. He also advised the governor to go ahead in his security partnership with the Senator.

In his remarks, the Director-General of Ifeanyi Ubah Foundation Chief Vin Onyeka appreciated the governor for believing in the Anambra South Senator. Chief Onyeka further appreciated ndị Anambra South for their continuous support for the Senator and reassured them that he will not relent in partnering with relevant authorities to attract quality projects to the Senatorial District and promote their wellbeing.

Responding, Senator Ubah commended governor Soludo for working closely with public office holders in the state regardless of their party affiliations. The Senator also disclosed that the event was in line with his determination to partner with the state government in areas of security and development, and maintained that with the partnership, insecurity in the state will soon be a thing of the past.

The Anambra South Senator who was flanked by his wife Mrs Uche Ubah further disclosed that the event was planned to create quality partnerships among all stakeholders irrespective of their political affiliations in order to enable various communities to speak with one voice on curbing insecurity in the Senatorial District. He also maintained that about six thousand units of solar powered facilities, which were procured by his office, will be installed in all the Wards of the Senatorial District to assist security agencies in surveillance and security analysis. Senator Ubah further urged constituents, especially those residing outside the country, to avoid dissemination of fake news and join hands in giving the governor adequate support to fight insecurity in the state.

The YPP Candidate for 2023 Anambra South Senatorial Election further appreciated the state governor and his constituents for believing in him, and reassured them that his office will leave no stone unturned in partnering with relevant authorities to promote their wellbeing.

Other highlight of the event which was also attended by Chief Dan Edokwe,Chief Ken Maduakonam, community leaders and stakeholders from various wards of Anambra South Senatorial District was inspection of solar powered facilities and personnel hired to handle the security gadgets.

Following his immense contributions towards promoting services in the Lord’s Vineyard and for showing huge support to people living with various forms of disability, the Council of Laity, Nnewi Diocese (Anglican Communion) and students of the Diocesan Special Education Center which was established to rehabilitate, educate and care for people living with various forms of disability on Saturday, made special prayers to God on the political ambition of the Senator representing Anambra South and Candidate of the Young Progressives Party (YPP) for the 2023 Anambra South Senatorial Election Dr. Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah. The Council and students of the disability center who were overwhelmed by the Senator’s sacrifices to the church and his kindness to the needy prayed God to bless his coming in and going out, and bless his ambition with victory.

The Senator representing Anambra South and Candidate of the Young Progressives Party (YPP) for the 2023 Anambra South Senatorial Election Dr Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah on Saturday, reassured his constituents that promotion of their wellbeing will always be his priority. Senator Ubah made the remarks during a meeting with the Association of Nnewi Former Political Appointees and Stakeholders at Hotel De Universe Nnewichi Nnewi in Nnewi North Local Government Area of Anambra State. Speaking at the event, the Senator said that his major functions as a legislator are to make laws and attract projects that will promote the wellbeing of ndị Anambra South.

Senator Ubah who was accompanied by his wife Mrs Uche Ubah, Chief Dan Edokwe, Director-General of Ifeanyi Ubah Foundation Chief Vin Onyeka, members of Afaigboefuna Solidarity led by their president Chief Ernest Otugo, YPP Candidate for 2023 Nnewi North, Nnewi South and Ekwusigo Federal Constituency Election Hon Peter Uzokwe, YPP Candidate for 2023 Nnewi North State Constituency Election Sir Augustine Ikedoji and some stakeholders further used the opportunity to inform the gathering about his latest activities at the Red Chamber. He disclosed that two of his Bills for the Establishment of Federal Orthopaedic Hospital Ukpor and Federal Medical Center Uli recently passed Public Hearing and if signed into law by the president as expected, the establishment of the medical facilities will contribute immensely to the development of the Health Sector in the Senatorial District.

The YPP Candidate for 2023 Anambra South Senatorial Election further informed the gathering that he has flagged off the execution of the “Operation Light-Up and Secure Anambra South Project” which features installation of solar powered facilities that are equipped with a Light-Emitting Diode (LED) light system and other powerful electronic gadgets that will help security agencies in surveillance and security analysis in all Wards of Nnewi North Local Government Area and various parts of the Senatorial District. He also maintained that he is the first Senator of the District that facilitated projects in every Ward. He listed some of the projects which include empowerment programmes executed in parts of Anambra South in partnership with various governmental agencies and ministries like the Nigerian Ports Authority, National Directorate of Employment and Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs.

Senator Ubah also said that health projects such as St Patrick’s Hospital Ula Ekwulobia and Primary Healthcare Centre Uga were facilitated by his office, and maintained that apart from using instrumentality of his office to provide healthcare facilities for his constituents, he did the unimaginable by convening high profile citizens under the umbrella of Anambra Progressives and Development Union (APDU) to build ultramodern medical and isolation centers at Nnamdi Azikiwe University Teaching Hospital (Permanent Site), Nnewi and Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka at a time when the nation was battling COVID-19 pandemic, and that the facilities which were completed within a period of one year have since been handed over to the managements of the aforementioned institutions.

Speaking on the forthcoming National Assembly and State Assembly elections, Senator Ubah appreciated ndị Anambra South for their continuous support and urged them to cement their love for him by voting massively for YPP in the 2023 National Assembly and State Assembly elections. He also reassured them that their sacrifices shall never be in vain.

Also speaking, the Director-General of Ifeanyi Ubah Foundation Chief Vin Onyeka appreciated the group for believing in Senator Ubah and his party, YPP despite their different political affiliations. Chief Onyeka further reassured ndị Anambra South that Senator Ubah will not relent in doing them proud at the upper chamber of the National Assembly.

In his remarks, the Obi of Nnewichi His Highness Obi George Onyekaba (Obidiugwu) appreciated Senator Ubah for making community development and support for traditional institutions his priority. Chief Onyekaba further reassured Senator Ubah that he will always get the support of the people and prayed God to bless his ambition.
