Anambra South Senator and winner of the 2023 Anambra South Senatorial Election Dr Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah on Saturday, reassured his constituents that he will leave no stone unturned in partnering with relevant authorities to give adequate support to schools and academic institutions in order to promote and sustain quality education within the Senatorial District. Senator Ubah made the remarks while issuing selected prizes to top participants in the 2023 Ifeanyi Ubah Foundation (IUF) Quiz Competition. Speaking at the event which took place at Ifeanyi Ubah International Stadium Nnewi-Ozubulu, Senator Ubah congratulated the beneficiaries for doing their schools and the Senatorial District proud, and urged them to remain focused.

The Anambra South Senator who was flanked by his wife Mrs Uche Ubah, the Director-General of Ifeanyi Ubah Foundation Chief Vin Onyeka, his Chief of Staff Comrade Chigozie Gerald Udogu and Administrative Secretary Chinazor Ajumorah also congratulated the students coordinators and reassured every school and academic institution within Anambra South Senatorial District that protection of their interests will always be his priority in the Red Chamber. Speaking on what motivated him to organize the quiz competition through his Foundation, Ifeanyi Ubah Foundation, Senator Ubah said that the competition was organised in response to several appeals by stakeholders in the academic community. He further maintained that it was organized in line with his principle of encouraging hard work and discipline, and appreciated proprietors and heads of various schools within Anambra South for their massive supports. The Senator also reassured the schools that his office will continue to partner with Ifeanyi Ubah Foundation and other relevant authorities to give them adequate support.

Speaking further on the aims of the quiz competition, the Director-General of Ifeanyi Ubah Foundation Chief Vin Onyeka said the top twenty SS3 students from each of the seven local government areas of the Senatorial District shall be rewarded with full payment of their West African Examination Council (WAEC) examination fees while each of the five outstanding schools from each of the local government areas shall receive two Desktop Computers and a Science Kit. He also disclosed that top ten participants from each class (SS1, SS2 AND SS3) shall be rewarded with payment of their school fees for a period of three years. Chief Onyeka further disclosed that Gold, Silver and Bronze Certificates awardees in all the seven local government areas shall also be rewarded with payment of their school fees while those who have already paid theirs shall be refunded by the Foundation. The IUF Director-General also commended the schools that participated for their cooperation and reassured them that the Foundation is already making plans to make the quiz competition an annual event.

Other highlights of the event include a cultural display by the students and presentation of Gold, Silver and Bronze category certificates to various top participants by Senator Ubah. The Senator accompanied by his wife and Director-General of Ifeanyi Ubah Foundation also presented other aforementioned prizes like Desktop Computers and Science Kits to the winners. Several consolation prizes like Standing Fans were also presented to other participants and their coordinators.

Anambra South Senator and winner of the 2023 Anambra South Senatorial Election Dr Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah on Thursday, reassured students within the Senatorial District that his office will not relent in encouraging hard work and discipline. Senator Ubah made the remarks when he met with top participants in the recently concluded Ifeanyi Ubah Foundation Quiz Competition and their schools coordinators at his Umuanuka Otolo Nnewi residence. According to him, education is the root of every development and the future of every nation cannot be secured if the education sector is not given necessary support.

Senator Ubah who was flanked by his wife Mrs Uche Ubah, the Director-General of Ifeanyi Ubah Foundation Chief Vin Onyeka, his Chief of Staff Comrade Chigozie Gerald Udogu and his Administrative Secretary Chinazor Ajumorah also congratulated the best participants in the quiz competition which comprised of top ten scorers in SS1, SS2 and SS3 classes for doing their families and schools proud, and announced that each of them shall receive annual financial grants from his Foundation, the Ifeanyi Ubah Foundation for a period of four years. Senator Ubah also congratulated the coordinators of the students for doing a nice job and urged them to keep all eyes on the ball.

Speaking further on the benefits of the quiz competition, the Anambra South Senator further informed the gathering that the best twenty SS3 students from each local government area of Anambra South Senatorial District shall be rewarded with full payment of their West African Examination Council (WAEC) examination fees while five outstanding schools from each of the local government areas shall receive two Desktop Computers and Science Kits. He also disclosed that the prize giving shall take place on Saturday March 11, 2023 at Ifeanyi Ubah International Stadium, Nnewi-Ozubulu, and reassured his constituents that he will leave no stone unturned in partnering with relevant authorities to support and encourage diligent students in the Senatorial District.

The Senator representing Anambra South and winner of the 2023 Anambra South Senatorial Election Dr Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah on Tuesday, appreciated his constituents for giving him another mandate to represent them at the upper chamber of the National Assembly. Senator Ubah made the remarks after receiving his Certificate of Return from the National Commissioner of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Festus Okoye at the International Conference Centre (ICC) Abuja. According to him, by voting for him to represent them for another term of four years, the people of Anambra South have again, expressed their confidence in his ability to protect and promote their interests in the Red Chamber, and he will do everything possible to justify their collective action.

Senator Ubah who was flanked by his wife Mrs Uche Ubah also informed his constituents that he is already finalising plans to go into partnerships with relevant authorities in order to foster human capital and community development in Anambra South Senatorial District. He also disclosed that he will work round the clock to ensure that the Bills he sponsored in the outgoing Assembly especially the Bill for the establishment of Federal Orthopaedic Hospital Ukpor and Bill for the establishment of Federal Medical Center Uli that passed Public Hearing in the 9th Assembly will be passed and signed into law by the President in the 10th Assembly.

The Anambra South Senator further disclosed that some empowerment programmes which he facilitated in the outgoing Assembly are captured in the 2023 Appropriation Act of the Federal Republic of Nigeria thereby making their implementation imminent. Commenting on the forthcoming State Assembly Election, Senator Ubah urged the people of Anambra South to maintain their supports for YPP by voting massively for the party in order to protect and promote the party’s ideology in the State Legislature.

With the certificate of return duly received from the Independent Electoral Commission(INEC) ,Senator Dr Ifeanyi Ubah will be part of the 10th Senate billed for inauguration in June 2023.

Chief Onyeka further commended the Senator for always carrying his people along in his legislative activities and reassured him that ndị Otolo Ward 2 will always give him their supports.

SENATOR IFEANYI UBAH HANDS OVER THREE BEDROOM BUNGALOW TO MRS BRIDGET OBI, TOURS OZUBULU AND IHEMBOSI WARDS

The Senator representing Anambra South and Candidate of the Young Progressives Party (YPP) for the 2023 Anambra South Senatorial Election Dr Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah on Tuesday, reassured his constituents especially the less privileged that he will always use instrumentality of his office to make necessary provisions for them. Senator Ubah made the remarks while commissioning a new three bedroom bungalow facilitated by his office for Mrs Bridget Obi at Ozubulu in Ekwusigo Local Government Area of Anambra State. Speaking at the event, Senator Ubah congratulated Mrs Obi and prayed for more good things upon her. The Senator who was flanked by his wife Mrs Uche Ubah also thanked God for keeping the woman alive to witness the occasion and reassured the people of Anambra South especially the less privileged that providing adequate support for them will always be his priority.

Responding, Mrs Obi thanked God for keeping her alive to witness the event. She also appreciated Senator Ubah for making the provision of adequate care for the needy his priority, and prayed for divine mercies, grace, guidance and protection upon him.

After commissioning the new house, Senator Ubah led his entourage to St Matthews Church Field Egbema Ozubulu where he met with leaders and members of Ekwusigo Zone A which comprised of Ozubulu Ward 1, Ozubulu Ward 2, Ozubulu Ward 3, Ozubulu Ward 4, Ozubulu Ward 5 and Ozubulu Ward 6. Other people that met with the Senator in Zone A were leaders and members Ihiteoha Ward and Anaubahu Ward which are under Ihembosi community. Speaking at the event, Senator Ubah appreciated the people of Ozubulu and Ekwusigo for their continuous support. He also informed them that through the instrumentality of his office, he has facilitated several projects in the community to promote people’s wellbeing and enable the community leaders to carry out their legitimate functions efficiently.

The Anambra South Senator who was accompanied by his wife Mrs Uche Ubah, Chief Jude Mbaegbu, the Director General of Ifeanyi Ubah Foundation Chief Vin Onyeka and some stakeholders further disclosed that through the instrumentality of his office, he has donated eighty million naira for the construction of Nnewi-Ozubulu Road, one hundred extra sets of solar powered facilities that are equipped with a Light-Emitting Diode (LED) light system to the community, an electricity transformer to Amakwa community, five million naira to Ozubulu Old Boys Association and two million naira to Ozubulu Security Trust Fund.

Senator Ubah also informed the gathering that with the 2023 Appropriation Act of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in place, the community and other parts of Anambra South will be provided with more amenities and supports.

Commenting on the forthcoming National Assembly and State Assembly elections, Senator Ubah further appreciated the people of Ekwusigo for their continuous supports and urged them to vote massively for YPP in the 2023 National Assembly and State Assembly elections as that will guarantee sustenance of quality programmes within their local government and Anambra South in general.

Responding, Sir James Obasi (Linas) appreciated Senator Ubah for his overwhelming supports for the community. Sir Obasi who described the Senator as a great asset of Anambra South Senatorial District also reassured him of the community’s continuous supports and prayed for more grace and protection upon him and his entourage.
